Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of the talaqqy method in improving the quality of Arabic memorization of mufrodat material among seventh-grade students of SMPIT Al-Jabar. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive type. Data collection techniques include interviews, observation, and documentation. Meanwhile, data analysis techniques are carried out through data presentation, data reduction, and drawing conclusions. The research results were obtained from learning observations, interviews with Arabic language teachers, interviews with six students, and supporting documentation. The results of this study indicate that the talaqqy method is implemented through the steps of listening, imitating, and repeating the vocabulary words directly with teacher guidance. The implementation of this method has a positive impact on students' vocabulary memorization abilities, as shown by improvements in correct pronunciation, better memory, and increased self-confidence and motivation to learn. However, in practice, there are still several obstacles and shortcomings such as students' ability to absorb and imitate different vocabulary words, limited lesson time, large number of students, and also variations in student concentration levels. Overall, the talaqqy method has proven effective as an alternative learning strategy to improve the quality of Arabic vocabulary memorization at the junior high school level, with the note that the need for more optimal classroom management and time management.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the rampant ethical crisis on social media, such as the spread of hoaxes, cyberbullying, hate speech, and privacy violations (doxing). Today's digital phenomenon often prioritizes the speed of information dissemination over accuracy and benefits, which has an impact on moral degradation and social polarization. In fact, the formal legal apparatus has not been fully able to touch the deepest moral awareness of internet users. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to formulate a guide to digital communication ethics based on the hadiths of the Prophet Muhammad PBUH as a preventive instrument for social media users. The research method used is qualitative with the type of library research. Data sourced from primary hadith books and supporting literature that were analyzed using content analysis techniques and normative-theological approaches to relate religious texts to modern communication phenomena. The results of the study show that there are six pillars of digital communication ethics in hadith: the obligation to verify information (tabayyun), responsibility for the impact of messages, ensuring the safety of fellow users from cyber disturbances, protection of privacy/disgrace of others, the principle of self-control through speaking well or silently, and the prohibition of the use of abusive words and curses. The implementation of these six hadiths serves as a transformative moral filter for the user's character. In conclusion, the integration of hadith values in digital activities is crucial to create social harmony and ensure the spiritual safety of users in the midst of a tsunami of information. This nubuwah ethics provides a visionary solution for the creation of a healthy, safe, and dignified social media ecosystem.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the effectiveness of the mind mapping method in improving students' understanding of the history of the Ottoman Empire. As a caliphate that played an important role in Islamic and world history, the material about the Ottoman Empire is often considered complicated and difficult to understand. The mind mapping approach was chosen because it has been proven to help organize information visually, increase engagement, and make it easier for students to remember historical facts. This study used a qualitative method with in-depth interview techniques and direct observation of grade IX students of SMPN 2 Telukjambe Timur who were learning about the Ottoman Empire. The results showed that the mind mapping method was able to improve students' understanding, make the learning process more interactive, and help students connect key concepts in the history of the Ottoman Empire. Thus, this study is expected to contribute to innovation in history learning in the classroom and enrich the literature related to Islamic history teaching strategies.
