Abstract

Kemampuan literasi sains merupakan salah satu aspek penting yang harus dikuasai oleh mahasiswa PGSD, hal ini berpengaruh terhadap proses pembelajaran sains (IPA) di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan literasi sains dilihat dari aspek kompetensi sains mahasiswa program studi PGSD FKIP Universitas Muhammadiyah Tangerang (UMT). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, yang bertujuan mendeskripsikan sifat kejadian yang berlangsung selama pengambilan data dalam bentuk sebuah narasi ilmiah. Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 100 mahasiswa PGSD UMT. Sumber data diambil secara langsung dengan menggunakan instrumen berupa tes literasi sains, angket, dan wawancara. Teknis analisis data terdiri dari reduksi data, penyajian data, dnn penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan literasi sains pada aspek kompetensi mahasiswa PGSD FKIP UMT memperoleh kategori “cukup”. Dalam tiap indikator pada kemampuan literasi sains mahasiswa PGSD menunjukkan kategori “rendah” pada indikator menjelaskan fenomena ilmiah, dan kategori “cukup” pada indikator mengidentifikasi pertanyaan atau isu-isu ilmiah dan menggunakan bukti ilmiah. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang diperoleh, menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan literasi sains mahasiswa PGSD belum menunjukkan hasil yang baik dan memuaskan, sehingga perlu ditingkatkan. Upaya mengatasi kemampuan literasi sains mahasiswa PGSD pada aspek kompetensi yang masih belum memuaskan dilakukan berbagai cara diantaranya melalui penataan ruang lingkup materi yang diberikan serta proses perkuliahan yang dilakukan, memilih media yang tepat, dan penggunaan model pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan konsep IPA.

Abstract

Background: Gender issues in education, including Islamic education, remain an important issue because learning practices and educational content often reproduce gender bias and inequality. Although Islam normatively upholds the principles of justice and equality, in educational practice, there is still a gap between Islamic teachings and their implementation. Objective: This study aims to examine the concept of gender from an Islamic perspective and analyze its implementation in learning management and educational content. Method: This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive-analytical library research design. Data were collected through documentation techniques on the texts of the Qur'an and Hadith as well as relevant academic literature, then analyzed using content analysis. Result: Gender inequality in education is caused more by social constructs and partial religious interpretations than by Islamic teachings themselves. Gender-responsive learning management and the development of gender-sensitive educational content have been proven to be crucial in creating a fair and inclusive learning process. Conclusion: The integration of a gender perspective in Islamic education is a strategic step toward realizing an education that aligns with the values of justice and humanity. Contribution: This study strengthens the conceptual framework of gender-perspective Islamic education, serving as both an academic and practical reference for creating more inclusive and equitable education.

Abstract

Background: Islamic Religious Education in elementary school plays a vital role in instilling faith, moral values, and religious principles in students from an early age. However, in practice, Islamic Religious Education is often delivered through conventional lecture methods and textbooks, resulting in low student interest and limited understanding of the material, particularly Asmaulhusna. Objective: This study aimed to determine the improvement in students’ Aqidah learning outcomes through the implementation of the Make a Match method at SDN 11 Bengkulu Selatan. Method: This research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach conducted in three cycles during the first semester of the 2024–2025 academic year, specifically in September. The research subjects consisted of 20 fourth-grade students at SDN 11 Bengkulu Selatan. Data were collected through written tests to measure learning outcomes and classroom observations conducted by the teacher during the learning process. Findings: The results showed that implementing the Make a Match method significantly improved students’ learning outcomes. The percentage of mastery learning increased from 55% in Cycle I to 75% in Cycle II and to 90% in Cycle III. These findings indicate that the Make a Match method is effective in helping students understand Aqidah material, particularly Asmaulhusna, in a more interactive and enjoyable way. Conclusion: The Make a Match method significantly enhances students’ Aqidah learning outcomes and can serve as an effective alternative instructional strategy. Contribution: This study contributes by providing an innovative instructional model that teachers can use to enhance student engagement, motivation, and understanding of Islamic Religious Education in elementary school. It also offers a foundation for further research in similar religious education contexts.

Abstract

Digital transformation presents a unique set of challenges and opportunities for Islamic Education (PAI) in rural settings. This study aims to analyze the dynamics of digital literacy implementation at MA Kartika Cendekia, Air Lalangi Village, Ulok Kupai District. Using a descriptive qualitative method, data were gathered through observations, in-depth interviews with teachers and students, and documentation studies. The results reveal that while significant digital infrastructure disparities and accessibility constraints persist, the integration of accessible digital media such as WhatsApp, YouTube, and digital Al-Qur'an applications has successfully transformed traditional religious instruction into a more interactive and visual experience. Furthermore, the study finds that fostering critical literacy through the Islamic principle of Tabayyun and internalizing digital ethics (Akhlak Digital) are essential for students to navigate online religious information safely. The research concludes that despite environmental limitations, rural madrasahs can enhance religious literacy by synergizing technological proficiency with strong moral foundations, ensuring students remain competitive and moderate in the global digital era.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi guru dalam mengatasi kesulitan belajar matematika. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan mengambil data di SD Negeri Sukatani VI Kabupaten Tangerang dengan subjek penelitian guru dan siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dikumpulkan dengan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyaringan data  dan menarik Kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Analisis strategi guru dalam mengatasi kesulitan belajar matematika yaitu dilihat dari pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi bahwa strategi guru dalam mengatasi kesulitan belajar matematika secara keseluruhan sudah cukup baik, namun alangkah baiknya guru memberikan motivasi sebelum pembelajaran dimulai. Karena memberikan motivasi kepada siswa sebelum pembelajaran dimulai. Dapat membangkitkan semangat belajar siswa, dalam kegiatan pembelajaran.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan literasi matematika siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita pada mata pelajaran matematika kelas IV SDN Pondok Bahar 6 Kota Tangerang. Literasi matematika dipahami sebagai kemampuan merumuskan, menerapkan, serta menafsirkan konsep dan prosedur matematika dalam berbagai situasi, khususnya dalam soal cerita yang berkaitan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan tes diagnostik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa masih mengalami kesulitan dalam memenuhi indikator literasi matematika. Tercatat 18 siswa belum mampu merumuskan masalah ke dalam model matematika, 18 siswa belum menggunakan konsep, fakta, dan prosedur dengan tepat, serta 20 siswa belum mampu menginterpretasikan dan merefleksikan hasil jawaban. Temuan ini mengindikasikan rendahnya kemampuan literasi matematika siswa, sehingga diperlukan strategi pembelajaran yang lebih kontekstual dan berbasis literasi untuk meningkatkan keterampilan pemahaman soal cerita.

Abstract

Students with learning difficulties in mathematics often make mistakes in solving story problems on fractional material. This research uses descriptive qualitative. The purpose of this study was to determine the types of learning difficulties in mathematics experienced by students, the factors that influence learning difficulties, and to reveal the efforts that can be made to overcome the difficulties in learning mathematics in grade IV Pakujaya 02 State Elementary School. Data collection techniques were observation and interviews. . Based on data analysis and discussion, students experienced errors, namely: 1. Understanding the problem, namely errors in interpreting language and making mathematical models. The reason is incomplete/wrong reasoning and low student ability. 2. Planning for problem solving is an error in connecting one concept with another concept. The cause of this error is the humanistic thinking of students. 3. Implement problem solving planning, namely errors in implementing incorrect formulas. Errors in this aspect are caused by incomplete or incorrect reasoning and students' humanistic thinking.

Abstract

Rendahnya hasil belajar matematika dan dominasi metode pembelajaran konvensional menjadi kendala utama dalam memahami konsep pada siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas model pembelajaran CORE (Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting, Extending) terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain quasi experimental berupa pretest-posttest control group design. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari dua kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen yang menerapkan model CORE dan kelas kontrol dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas, homogenitas, serta uji Independent Sample T-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai thitung sebesar 3,27 lebih besar dibandingkan ttabel sebesar 2,00 pada taraf signifikansi 5%, yang mengindikasikan adanya perbedaan signifikan antara kedua kelompok. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model CORE mampu meningkatkan keterlibatan aktif siswa dalam menghubungkan, mengorganisasi, merefleksikan, dan mengembangkan pemahaman konsep matematika. Implikasi penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran CORE efektif digunakan sebagai alternatif strategi pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of deep learning strategies in increasing student engagement in the learning process at SD Negeri 82, Bengkulu City. The background of this study is based on the low level of student participation in learning activities, such as asking questions, discussing, and expressing opinions, due to the dominant lecture method still used by teachers. The study used a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques in the form of participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using the Miles & Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the application of deep learning, which includes the stages of exploration, interpretation, decision-making, and reflection, significantly increased student engagement. Students became more confident in expressing opinions, actively asking questions, and engaging in group discussions. Learning also became more meaningful through project activities, reflection, and the use of trigger questions. Barriers such as differences in students' initial abilities and limited resources can be overcome through scaffolding, the use of simple media, and strengthening the role of teachers as facilitators. This study concludes that the deep learning strategy is effectively implemented at SDN 82 Bengkulu City to foster student engagement and is relevant to the demands of 21st-century learning.
