Abstract

This study is grounded in the tendency of online media to represent female public figures in ways that often contain gender bias and specific moral constructions. News coverage of Nikita Mirzani serves as a relevant case for examining how women are positioned within legal and social discourse through media framing. The purpose of this research is to analyze the representation of women by exploring the construction of subject, object, writer, and reader positions in news texts using Sara Mills' critical discourse analysis approach. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method, with data collected through documentary study of news articles published by Detik.com, Mind of the People, Kompas.com, and CNN Indonesia. The analysis was conducted by identifying patterns in the placement of female actors within the texts and comparing the narrative strategies used by each media outlet. Data validity was ensured through source triangulation and repeated readings to maintain consistency in interpretation. The findings reveal significant differences in representational construction. Detik.com and CNN Indonesia tend to portray Nikita Mirzani as an active, assertive, and rational subject in responding to legal issues, while Pikiran Rakyat and Kompas.com emphasize her emotional dimension and moral positioning as a public woman. These findings indicate that women's representation in the media remains influenced by patriarchal values that shape power relations within news narratives. This study highlights the importance of critical media awareness in fostering fairer and more gender-sensitive representations, while also contributing to the development of critical discourse analysis in the context of Indonesian digital media.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan mengevaluasi efektivitas metode pembelajaran kreatif yang terintegrasi dengan mode pertanyaan eksploratif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan membaca siswa kelas tinggi di Kabupaten Garut. Menggunakan pendekatan Design-Based Research (DBR), penelitian dilakukan di tiga kecamatan: Garut Kota, Limbangan, dan Bungbulang, melibatkan 60 hingga 90 siswa serta beberapa guru berpengalaman dengan minimal 15 tahun di bidang pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan DBR. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah latihan di kelas, wawancara, dan observasi dalam kerangka waktu tertentu. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara wawancara semistruktural dengan siswa dan guru dengan penerapan metode pembelajaran kreatif yang terintegrasi dengan mode pertanyaan eksploratif secara signifikan meningkatkan keterampilan membaca siswa kelas tinggi di Kabupaten Garut. Dari analisis data kuantitatif, tercatat adanya peningkatan yang signifikan dalam rata-rata skor keterampilan membaca siswa, dari 60 pada pre-test menjadi 80 pada post-test. Selain itu, hasil analisis kualitatif melalui wawancara dengan siswa dan guru mengungkapkan bahwa keterlibatan siswa, kesenangan dalam belajar, dan dukungan guru berkontribusi signifikan terhadap efektivitas pembelajaran. This study aims to develop and evaluate the effectiveness of a creative learning method integrated with an exploratory inquiry model in improving the reading skills of upper-grade students in Garut Regency. Using a Design-Based Research (DBR) approach, the study was conducted in three sub-districts: Garut City, Limbangan, and Bungbulang, involving 60 to 90 students and several experienced teachers with at least 15 years of experience in education. This study employed a qualitative DBR approach. Data collection instruments included classroom exercises, interviews, and observations over a specific period. Data collection was conducted through semi-structured interviews with students and teachers. The implementation of a creative learning method integrated with an exploratory inquiry model significantly improved the reading skills of upper-grade students in Garut Regency. Quantitative data analysis recorded a significant increase in the average score of students' reading skills, from 60 in the pre-test to 80 in the post-test. Furthermore, qualitative analysis, conducted through interviews with students and teachers, revealed that student engagement, enjoyment in learning, and teacher support significantly contributed to learning effectiveness.

Abstract

The Orang Tua Tangguh Program was implemented to strengthen parental emotional resilience and positive parenting practices among members of the Kelompok Keluarga Sehat Berdaya (KKSB) in Garut Regency. Grounded in the Lazarus–Folkman Appraisal Theory and Systemic Functional Linguistic (SFL) Appraisal, the program combined psychoeducation, language-based parenting training, reflective journaling, and group counseling over a two-month period. A total of 25 parents, primarily mothers of children aged 4–6 years, participated actively with an average attendance rate of 82%. The program led to notable improvements in parental emotional regulation, confidence, and communication patterns, with participants reporting reduced emotional outbursts and increased use of empathetic, validating language toward children. These behavioral changes contributed to better child responsiveness, decreased daily conflicts, and emerging emotional expression skills among young children. At the community level, the initiative produced a practical module on positive parenting language and fostered local role models who now support neighboring families. The findings demonstrate that integrating linguistic appraisal with psychological coping frameworks is effective in enhancing family well-being, especially in communities with socio-economic vulnerabilities.

Abstract

Beginning writing is a foundational literacy skill in early elementary education because it supports students’ ability to form letters, build words, and construct simple sentences to express ideas. However, classroom instruction at the early writing stage often remains procedural and copy-based, with limited media to stimulate idea development, engagement, and confidence in initiating written texts. This study developed and tested a Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model supported by the interactive digital application Qreatif Educative to improve Grade 1 students’ beginning writing skills. Using a Research and Development (R&D) approach, the study followed sequential stages of needs analysis, information gathering, product design, expert validation, limited trial, field trial, and final revision. The research site was SDN 3 Sukamaju. Validators consisted of two content experts and two media experts. A small-group trial involved 7 students, followed by a field trial involving 16 students. Data were collected through observations, interviews, questionnaires, documentation, and pretest–posttest writing assessments. Qualitative data were analyzed thematically to capture usability feedback and implementation challenges, while quantitative data were analyzed descriptively using feasibility percentages and inferentially using a paired-sample t-test. The developed model and media were rated very feasible by experts, with content and media validation results reaching 88%. Student responses in the small-group trial indicated very positive usability and engagement, with an average feasibility score of 85.56%. Effectiveness testing in the field trial demonstrated a significant improvement in students’ beginning writing performance after implementation (paired-sample t-test, p = .000 < .05). Overall, integrating PjBL with Qreatif Educative provides a feasible and effective approach to strengthening beginning writing through structured projects, interactive practice, and guided feedback in early elementary classrooms.

Abstract

 Analysis of Feminism Studies in the Novel entitled “Don’t Blame Me for Cheating” by Rifani April. The aim of this research is to find out the study of feminism contained in the novel ‘Don’t Blame Me for Cheating’ by Rifani April which is interesting to study so that it can be used as a message by researchers and readers. The method used by the researcher is a qualitative descriptive method and the research technique used is a qualitative analysis technique, in the form of quotation and interpretation data from female characters in the novel ‘Don’t Blame Me for Cheating’ by Rifani April. Based on the results of the analysis, the results of the research showed that there was one female figure who was studied regarding feminism from a Marxist perspective, namely the wife (Anna), who was full of love and attention to her husband (Dimas) for many years but was instead rewarded with painful betrayal. Shows how her husband systematically oppresses and abuses Anna, both verbally and emotionally. So Anna starts having an affair again with her old friend Reyhan with the aim of revenge so that Dimas feels what Anna feels. The conclusion that can be obtained from this research is the study of feminism carried out by husbands towards wives, such as belittling their feelings and controlling them, which leads to infidelity, injustice, oppression, and women’s psychological image rights in terms of reproduction. This gives rise to feelings of revenge carried out by the wife against her husband. To have an affair so that the husband is deterred from the behavior he has carried out during the marriage.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis representasi guru perempuan PPPK yang menggugat cerai suami dalam media daring menggunakan pendekatan Analisis Wacana Kritis Sara Mills. Fokus penelitian berada pada posisi subjek dan objek, peran gender, serta konstruksi kuasa yang muncul dalam narasi berita. Data diperoleh dari berita online Indonesia yang memberitakan fenomena perceraian guru perempuan setelah menerima SK PPPK. Hasil analisis menunjukkan perempuan diposisikan sebagai subjek aktif dengan legitimasi ekonomi dan kemampuan mengambil keputusan rumah tangga, sedangkan laki-laki lebih banyak diposisikan sebagai objek pasif. Pemberitaan menekankan konflik psikologis, tekanan peran ganda, dan ketidakpuasan rumah tangga sebagai faktor yang memengaruhi keputusan perceraian. Temuan ini selaras dengan penelitian sebelumnya yang menyoroti representasi perempuan dalam media dan transformasi posisi gender dalam relasi sosial. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan tentang bagaimana media daring membentuk persepsi kuasa dan gender dalam konteks sosial dan rumah tangga. Abstract

Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat kompetensi pengasuhan positif pada orang tua anak usia dini di Desa Sukaratu, Kabupaten Garut, melalui pendekatan terpadu berbasis analisis appraisal linguistik dan psikologi. Intervensi mengombinasikan analisis appraisal dalam kerangka Linguistik Sistemik Fungsional (LSF) dengan strategi edukasi psikologis seperti manajemen stres, emotion labeling, serta praktik komunikasi konstruktif. Data dikumpulkan melalui asesmen pra–pasca, jurnal bahasa, observasi, dan diskusi kelompok dalam Kelompok Dukungan Sebaya (KKSB). Hasil menunjukkan penurunan signifikan pada skor stres subjektif orang tua (23%) dan peningkatan kemampuan dalam mengelola tekanan emosional melalui teknik breathing exercise, mindfulness grounding, dan model positive reappraisalLazarus–Folkman. Perubahan linguistik juga tampak nyata: afek negatif menurun 34%, penilaian konstruktif meningkat 41%, dan penggunaan graduasi ekstrem bernada negatif berkurang 29%. Orang tua menjadi lebih percaya diri dalam mengelola dinamika rumah tangga dan menunjukkan penurunan frekuensi ledakan emosi, didukung oleh meningkatnya praktik refleksi diri melalui jurnal harian. Meskipun anak tidak terlibat langsung, orang tua melaporkan peningkatan responsivitas anak terhadap arahan, berkurangnya konflik harian, dan meningkatnya kenyamanan komunikasi. Pada tingkat komunitas, KKSB berhasil menyusun “Modul Bahasa Pengasuhan Positif” serta melahirkan sejumlah ibu sebagai role model, sehingga mendorong rencana replikasi program ke dusun lainnya di Sukaratu. Secara keseluruhan, program ini menunjukkan efektivitas integrasi teori appraisal dan keterampilan psikologis dalam membangun ketahanan keluarga di komunitas pedesaan.

Abstract

General Background The rapid development of information and communication technology has transformed educational practices, requiring more interactive and student-centered learning environments. Specific Background In Islamic Religious Education at the elementary level, conventional teaching approaches remain dominant, while digital tools offer opportunities for more engaging instruction. Knowledge Gap However, studies examining comprehensive teacher strategies in integrating technology, including innovation, challenges, and solutions, remain limited. Aims This study aims to analyze teacher strategies in integrating technology, identify instructional innovations, examine implementation challenges, and explore solutions in Islamic Religious Education learning. Results The findings indicate that teachers utilized instructional videos, interactive quizzes through platforms such as Wordwall and Quizizz, and web-based learning via Google Sites. These practices increased student engagement, participation, and understanding, as reflected in improved average scores from pre-test to post-test. Nevertheless, constraints such as limited technological infrastructure, unstable internet access, and insufficient digital literacy were identified. Teachers addressed these issues through personal device utilization, institutional collaboration, and continuous learning efforts. Novelty This study provides a comprehensive perspective by integrating analysis of teacher strategies, innovations, constraints, and solutions within a single framework. Implications The results suggest that technology integration can support improved learning processes in Islamic education when accompanied by adequate resources, institutional support, and enhanced teacher digital competence.
