Abstract

Abstract

PT. Vale Indonesia Tbk. is a company engaged in the mining industry, particularly in nickel processing (Ni). The company operates a power plant at Balambano Hydroelectric Power Plant (2x68.5 MW). The company's usual maintenance practice is limited to corrective maintenance, which involves replacing or repairing components only when they are damaged. The aim of this research is to determine the optimal replacement time for preventive maintenance on turbine machines in order to minimize downtime. The age replacement method is used to calculate the replacement interval for components based on their usage life. The research findings show that the mean time to failure (MTTF) of the wicket gate is 2217.824 hours or 92.41 days, which means that the component may experience failure again after operating for that MTTF duration. Therefore, the recommendation is to replace the component every 85 days of operation and perform inspections every 15 days.

Abstract

Clean water distribution machines are very important for local drinking water companies to be able to supply clean water to customers. The need for water continues to increase, so an analysis is needed to determine the decline in engine pump performance in the production process. Maintenance activities need to be carried out to maintain the reliability (realiability) of the machine so that it can operate properly. Therefore, a good strategy is needed to maintain the continuity of the production process. The purpose of this research is to measure the performance of the water distribution pump machine / equipment associated with the low level of clean water production, to identify the losses experienced by the company. The Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) value obtained before repairs were carried out in November 2019 for Lapi I was 69.38% and Lapi II was 69. 75% while in December 2019 for Lapi I it was 74.02% and Lapi II was 73.65% still below the JIPM standard, namely ≥85%. From the results of the six big losses, the clean water distribution pump machine as a whole still needs evaluation to make improvements in increasing effectiveness and productivity, especially in the problem of redeuced speed losses so that suggestions can be made to improve the clean water distribution machine. After repairs in January 2020 for Lapi I was 87.90% and Lapi II was 87.26% while in February 2020 for Lapi I it was 90.34% and Lapi II was 85.81%. Abstract

Performance measurement plays a strategic role in translating a company's strategy into concrete action and in evaluating the achievement of organizational goals, particularly for consulting service firms whose performance depends heavily on the satisfaction of multiple stakeholders. PT. Galaksi Prima Consultant, a construction consulting company in Makassar, has not implemented a performance measurement system that comprehensively accommodates the interests of its customers, employees, owner, and suppliers, so that its overall performance has not been systematically monitored. This study develops a performance measurement model that integrates the Performance Prism framework to identify Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) from five perspectives, with the Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process (Fuzzy AHP) to determine the weight of importance of each KPI while accommodating the uncertainty of expert judgment. Pairwise comparison results were converted into Triangular Fuzzy Numbers and processed through fuzzy synthesis and defuzzification to obtain crisp weights, all of which passed the consistency test (CR < 0.1). The results show that 55 KPIs were identified across four stakeholder groups, with the customer perspective obtaining the highest weight (0.374), followed by employees (0.289), suppliers (0.230), and owner (0.107). The overall performance score of PT. Galaksi Prima Consultant was 2.919, which falls into the moderate/fairly good category. The proposed model provides a systematic and replicable reference for measuring and improving the performance of construction consulting companies..

Abstract

Holland Bakery is a company engaged in the bakery industry that sells bread directly to end consumers. The concept of the bullwhip effect is inherent in the supply chain, there is an effect that spreads in the supply chain called the bullwhip effect, Problems that occur in the supply chain of Holland Bakery products that are Perishable quickly damaged so that it causes demand in product inventory causing the bullwhip effect. The purpose of this study is to Identify indicators of the occurrence of the bullwhip effect in the Holland Bakery supply chain using a fishbone diagram and Determine alternative solutions to reduce the bullwhip effect based on the assessment weight of the Fuzzy AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) method criteria. The results of this study The results of the identification of the causes of the bullwhip effect in the Holland Bakery supply chain using the fishbone diagram approach there are 6 causes of the bullwhip effect based on the analysis of Demand forecasting, Order batching, Price fluctuations seen from 4 aspects: Humans (man), Methods (method), Materials (material), Machines (machine). The alternative solution selected based on the Fuzzy AHP weighting assessment yielded a weighting score of 0.7696. Alternative B was the first priority to be selected as an alternative solution to reduce the bullwhip effect in the Holland Bakery supply chain.
