Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of knowledge, income, belief, and religiosity on farmer compliance in paying zakat through Baitul Mal Gampong (Study in Bener Meriah Regency) partially and simultaneously. Data of 100 respondents was obtained by distributing questionnaires with purposive sampling technique and analyzed using multiple linear regression method. The results obtained show that the variables of knowledge, income, trust, and religiosity simultaneously have a significant effect on farmers' compliance in paying zakat through Baitul Mal Gampong (Study in Bener Meriah Regency). Knowledge variable has a positive and significant effect, while income, trust, and religiosity have no effect on farmer compliance in paying zakat through Baitul Mal Gampong (Study in Bener Meriah Regency). Therefore, zakat institutions must increase socialization to the public about zakat knowledge and increase trust in zakat institutions.

Abstract

This study explores the impact of investor behavior on stock market stability through the lens of Islamic principles, emphasizing justice and transparency. Employing a systematic literature review approach, the research analyzes 200 relevant articles from 2019–2023 to investigate the relationship between investor behaviors—such as speculation and gharar (uncertainty)—and market volatility. The data were derived from a comprehensive scholarly literature review, including academic journals, articles, books, and research reports. By synthesizing relevant sources, the study offers an in-depth understanding of investor behavior and the implications of Islamic perspectives on stock market stability. The findings reveal that behaviors aligned with Shariah principles, including avoiding speculation and reinforcing transparency, contribute significantly to enhancing stock market stability. Moreover, the study underscores the importance of implementing Shariah-based regulations and promoting Islamic financial literacy to support ethical investment practices. The practical implications of this research include recommendations for regulators to integrate Shariah ethical standards into market policies and encourage market participants to adopt fundamental analysis consistent with Shariah principles. Finally, the study opens avenues for future research to explore empirical applications in specific stock markets and their impact on sustainable economic policies.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the dispute resolution strategies implemented by the Indonesian Waqf Board (Badan Wakaf Indonesia-BWI)Representative Office in Aceh and to assess their compliance with Islamic legal principles. The urgency of this study stems from the high potential for waqf disputes in Aceh, primarily due to incomplete administrative documentation and inadequate records of waqf assets. These conditions often trigger disputes between nazhir, wakif, and heirs, thereby requiring an effective, structured, and sharia-compliant dispute resolution mechanism. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach using document analysis and in-depth interviews with informants from BWI Aceh and academic experts. The data were analyzed thematically to identify patterns of dispute resolution and their relevance to the concepts of shulh and tahkim in Islamic law. The findings indicate that BWI Aceh prioritizes non-litigation mechanisms through mediation and arbitration. Mediation serves as the primary instrument, conducted through problem identification, facilitated dialogue, and negotiation until a mutually acceptable settlement is reached. Arbitration is applied when mediation does not produce an agreement. This approach aligns with Islamic values that emphasize deliberation, justice, and peace. These strategies have proven effective in resolving various types of disputes, including conflicts involving overlapping claims and differing interpretations of management rights. The study concludes that BWI Aceh’s strategy is consistent with Islamic legal principles and contributes to enhancing legal certainty and protecting waqf assets. Nevertheless, strengthening data management, disseminating regulations, and improving nazhir capacity remain necessary to ensure more optimal waqf dispute resolution.

Abstract

This study explores how domestic tourists interpret destination innovativeness, warmth, and competence as key factors influencing their intention to revisit tourist destinations in Aceh Province, Indonesia. Using a qualitative phenomenological approach, the research focuses on tourists lived experiences and subjective meanings derived from their interactions with innovative and culturally rich destinations. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and participatory observations at four major destinations: Banda Aceh, Sabang, Takengon, and Lhokseumawe. The findings reveal that destination innovativeness is perceived not only through technological and infrastructural improvements but also through efforts to preserve cultural authenticity and enhance comfort. Warmth is associated with the friendliness and sincerity of local communities, while competence reflects professional management, reliable information, and environmental care. Collectively, these elements form emotional and cognitive meanings that foster tourists intention to revisit. Theoretically, this study extends the Tourist Perceived Destination Innovativeness and Stereotype Content Model frameworks, while practically highlighting the importance of experience-based, socially warm, and competence-driven destination management in sustaining tourist loyalty.

Abstract

The decision to purchase a product is basically influenced by many factors. This research aims to analyze the factors that influence the purchasing decisions of imported food products among students in Banda Aceh City. This type of research is quantitative through an associative approach. Samples were collected using nonprobability sampling techniques with a purposive sampling approach. The collected data was analyzed through multiple linear regression. The results of the research show that the halal label has no effect on students' purchasing decisions about imported food products in the city of Banda Aceh. Meanwhile, promotion, price and religiosity each influence the purchasing decisions of imported food products among students in Banda Aceh City. The implications of the research are that providers of imported food products must pay attention to halal labels, so that the food products sold do not harm consumers, especially students in the city of Banda Aceh.
