Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has created rapid changes that led many companies to speed up digital transformation, particularly in the management of human resources. A key development in this process is the adoption of Digital Human Resource Management (DHRM), an approach that brings digital technologies into HR functions. This study aims to systematically review the literature linking DHRM to employee resilience, focusing on the psychological impact of the interaction between technology and individuals. Using a systematic literature review (SLR) method, 50 articles from Scopus and ProQuest were analyzed. The results show that DHRM contributes to employee psychological resilience by increasing self-efficacy, psychological safety, and agility and creating an emotionally supportive digital workspace. The study found that psychological aspects like coping strategies, emotions, and perceived support are essential in linking digital systems with employee resilience. The study suggests using an interdisciplinary perspective that brings together technology and psychology to develop effective DHRM systems while also addressing employees’ psychological well-being.

Abstract

The increasing complexity of organizational environments necessitates a deeper understanding of how management scope and Human Resource (HR) strategies interact to enhance organizational effectiveness. This study examines the integration of management functions and HR practices to address critical gaps in optimizing performance, particularly in dynamic and resource constrained settings. Using the SmartPLS methodology, empirical data was analyzed to evaluate the influence of management scope dimensions and HR strategies on organizational performance. The findings reveal that aligning HR strategies with well defined management functions significantly enhances adaptability, operational efficiency, and employee engagement. Specifically, strategic planning enables organizations to respond effectively to market disruptions, while efficient resource allocation fosters collaboration and productivity. However, challenges such as misaligned priorities, resistance to change, and resource limitations pose significant barriers to successful integration. Addressing these issues through adaptive leadership and innovative management approaches strengthens resilience and promotes sustainable growth. The study underscores the critical role of management HR alignment in leveraging human capital as a competitive advantage. By bridging theoretical frameworks with practical applications, this research provides valuable insights for managers seeking to navigate complex organizational dynamics. The findings highlight the importance of integrating management and HR strategies to foster long term organizational resilience and performance in rapidly evolving business landscapes.

Abstract

The Mobile Brigade Corps of the Indonesian National Police carries strategic responsibilities that require personnel to demonstrate strong organizational citizenship behaviour supported by intrapreneurial attributes. Intrapreneurial factors within public security institutions are increasingly important to enhance adaptability innovation and sustainable organizational performance in line with the Sustainable Development Goals particularly SDGs 8 on decent work and SDGs 16 on strong institutions. This study aims to examine the influence of intrapreneurial related factors namely perceived organizational support empowering leadership and proactive personality on organizational citizenship behaviour with leader member exchange as a mediating variable. A quantitative approach was employed using a survey of 8020 Mobile Brigade Corps personnel with 367 respondents selected through simple random sampling. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling with AMOS version 24. The results indicate that perceived organizational support empowering leadership and proactive personality significantly influence organizational citizenship behaviour both directly and indirectly through leader member exchange. The mediating role of leader member exchange strengthens the relationship between intrapreneurial factors and extra role behaviour. The findings highlight the importance of fostering an intrapreneurial environment within public security organizations to promote voluntary and proactive employee behaviour. This study contributes to organizational development strategies that support institutional effectiveness sustainability and the achievement of SDGs oriented governance.

The millennial generation currently dominates human resources in the company. Millennial generation employees have many advantages, but millennials are considered less committed to their work, so they are synonymous with high turnover intentions. The research was conducted to know the effect of the work environment and job characteristics on the turnover intention with the mediating role of work engagement in millennial generation employees, work environment, and job characteristics as independent variables. Turnover intention is the dependent variable, and work engagement is a mediating variable. This study uses a survey method by distributing questionnaires where the respondents used 204 employees in the millennial generation with domiciles in the West Jakarta area. Then, the data was processed using the SEM-PLS method. The results showed that the work environment hurt turnover intention. Job characteristics do not affect turnover intention. Job engagement hurts turnover intention. The work environment has a positive effect on work engagement. Work characteristics have a positive effect on work engagement. Furthermore, work engagement mediates the relationship between the work environment and turnover intention. Job engagement also mediates the relationship between job characteristics and turnover intention.

Abstract

The ease of accessing the internet has led to the emergence of cyberloafing in the workplace. Cyberloafing, if not managed properly, can impact employee productivity. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the influence of role stress, work-family conflict, and emotional exhaustion on cyberloafing in employees. The population of this study was office employees in Tangerang. The number of samples in this study was 207 participants. Sampling used a purposive sampling technique with the criteria of employees who were married and aged <40 years. Data analysis used SEM-PLS. The results of the study proved that role stress had an effect on emotional exhaustion, but did not affect cyberloafing. The work-family conflict affected emotional exhaustion and cyberloafing. Then emotional exhaustion became a mediator between the influence of role stress on cyberloafing and the impact of work-family conflict on cyberloafing. This research can be a reference for company leaders to make SOPs that regulate cyberloafing which includes the formula of cyberloafing, restrictions on cyberloafing and sanctions if they violate predetermined limits.
