Abstract

Islamic boarding schools are known as the oldest Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia. The Iarge number of Islamic boarding schooIs in Batanghari Regency, as well as the large number of students in each pesantren make this institution a major contribution to deveIopment. The roIe of the poskestren is a form of community-based health efforts (UKBM) in the boarding schooI environment, with the principle of, by and for the boarding school residents. This study aims to determine the behavioral determinants of students in the formation of heaIthy students in Islamic boarding schooIs in Batanghari Regency. This study is a quantitative study with a cross-sectional design. This study invoIved 98 respondents who were seIected by the Proportional Random Sampling technique to be interviewed. Data anaIysis was univariate, bivariate with Chi square and muItivariate with logistic regression. The results showed that 46.9% of respondents had poor student behavior in impIementing poskestren. There is a reIationship between perceived barriers (p-vaue: 0.011) perceptions of self-efficacy (p-value: 0.047), the infIuence of teachers/ustadz (p-vaIue: 0.007), the infIuence of heaIth workers (p-vaIue: 0.020) and the behavior of students. Perceived benefits (p-vaIue: 0.210) did not have a significant reIationship with the behavior of students. The factor that had a strong infIuence on the behavior of students was the influence of teachers/ustadz with an Odds Ratio (OR= 0.323. 95% CI 0.143–0.822). There is a need fr management training and the formation of HeaIthy Santri.

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Proses kerja pengemasan ikan yang menghabiskan waktu 3-4 jam dengan menggunakan tangan menyebabkan pekerja ini berisiko mengalami keluhan otot pergelangan tangan yaitu carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS). Salah satu risiko pemicu terjadinya keluhan CTS adalah gerakan yang berulang dalam melakukan pekerjaan yang menggunakan tangan. Tujuan penelitian menganalisis hubungan gerakan repetitif/berulang dengan kejadian CTS pada pekerja pengemasan ikan. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan studi korelasi dengan desain pendekatan cross-sectional. Populasi penelitian ini sebanyak 32 pekerja dan sampel non random dengan metode total populasi. Gerakan repetitif diukur menggunakan Stopwatch sedangkan variabel carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) diukur dengan kuesioner BCTQ (Boston Carpal Tunnel Sydrome). Data dianalisis menggunakan uji exact fisher. Hasil: Pekerja pengemasan ikan yang bekerja dengan gerakan repetitif berisiko ada sebanyak 62,5% dan yang mengalami keluhan carpal tunnel syndrome ada 59,4%. Gerakan repetitif memiliki hubungan pada kejadian carpal tunnel syndrome. Diskusi: Ada hubungan gerakan repetitif dengan kejadian carpal tunnel syndrome. Gerakan repetitive saat bekerja dapat meningkatkan risiko pekerja mengalami keluhan CTS, oleh karena itu melakukan peregangan setelah melakukan proses pengemasan sangat direkomendasikan dalam meminimalkan kejadian CTS. Abstract

Latar belakang: Kebersihan diri adalah upaya seseorang dalam memelihara kebersihan dan kesehatan dirinya untuk mencegah timbulnya penyakit. Selain itu keamanan makanan juga perlu diperhatikan, Makanan yang tidak terjaga akan berdampak buruk untuk kesehatan. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Media komik terhadap pengetahuan dan sikap siswa tentang kebersihan diri dan keamanan makanan di SD N 47 Kota Jambi Metode: Desain penelitian adalah quasi experiment dengan rancangan penelitian one group pretest dan posttest. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Januari 2022. Analisis data menggunakan uji Wilcoxon. Hasil: Jenis penelitian ini Quasi Eksperiment menggunakan rancangan Pretest-posttest Control Group Desain. Sampel penelitian ini adalah semua siswa kelas 4B dan 4C. Dengan analisis Uji Paired t- test untuk melihat pengaruh dan Uji Independent t-test untuk uji beda. Rata-rata pengetahuan siswa pada kelompok media komik sebelum intervensi 13,30 setelah intervensi 17,10. Sikap siswa sebelum intervensi 49,77 setelah intervensi 74,37 dengan pvalue 0,000. Rata-rata skor pengetahuan siswa pada kelompok poster sebelum intervensi 12,57 setelah intervensi 16,70. Sikap siswa sebelum intervensi 49,93 setelah intervensi 68,47 dengan pvalue 0,000. Pada hasil perbedaan hasil pengetahuan intervensi media komik dan media poster tidak ada perbedaan peningkatan (p=0,417) dan ada peningkatan sikap (5,900±0,387, P=000). Kesimpulan: Hasil statistik diperoleh hasil pengetahuan intervensi media komik dan media poster tidak ada perbedaan peningkatan (p=0,417) tetapi ada peningkatan sikap (5,900±0,387, P=000) Tentang kebersihan diri dan keamanan makanan.

Abstract

Gagalnya praktik sarapan yang sehat pada remaja dikarenakan ketidaktersediaan sarapan sehat yang memenuhi gizi didorong oleh persepsi dan pengetahuan remaja dan orang tua bahwa menyajikan sarapan sehat itu membutuhkan banyak waktu, dan kurangnya motivasi remaja untuk sarapan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain cross sectional. Sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak 92 responden dengan teknik pengambilan sampel accidental sampling. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah pengetahuan dan sikap sedangkan variabel terikat adalah perilaku sarapan pagi dan konsumsi buah dan sayur. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisioner dan analisis data secara univariat dan bivariat (chi-square). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa SMP N 24 sarapan setiap hari (53,3%) dan mengonsumsi buah dan sayur (54,3%). Terdapat hubungan pengetahuan dengan perilaku sarapan (0,027), sikap dengan perilaku sarapan (0,007), sikap dengan perilaku konsumsi buah dan sayur (0,023), tidak terdapat hubungan pengetahuan dengan perilaku konsumsi buah dan sayur (0,145).  Terbukti bahwa pengetahuan dan sikap mempengaruhi perilaku konsumsi sarapan. Disarankan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang sarapan dan buah sayur pada siswa SMP dengan pendekatan berbagai metode edukasi.

Abstract

Currently, it is estimated that there are 450 million peoples uffering from mental disorders (WHO,2016). The recurrence rate at the Jambi Provincial Mental Hospital, which is the only mental hospital in Jambi Province is 89.2%. The purpose of this research his to find out how mental rehabilitation is given at this hospital. This study use the evaluation framework of the CDC. Step 1, the stakeholders consulted were the head of the field, the head of the section, the head of the room. Step-2 there is no special model/design in report generation. Reports are based on daily visits and become monthly reports. Step-3, the report in this installation doesn’t use any special evaluation model in the development program and currently in the process of facilities and infrastructure that are still lackingare psychologists in installation and religious therapists for non-Muslims. For step-4 data collectionare from daily record, whether the patient can or cannot or less in participating in the therapy activities, there is no special team in program evaluation. Step-5, to understand the findings, the stakeholders didn’t find any problems, drawn based on the monthly results. Step-6 every stakeholders can see the report result. Mental rehabilitation activities have been going well, in the evaluation of the program evaluation, need a model that can support the program description so that it can help the program development stage. The hospital also needs to cooperate with institutions/organizations tohelp patients that just discharged from the hospital toreceive direction and prevent recurrence patients

Abstract

Background: In 2014 the POM Agency reported cases of food poisoning in various parts of Indonesia. One of these cases was caused by 15 cases of street food with 468 victims, and 1 case of poisoning due to catering services totaling 748 people. So, therefore destination study is for knowing the perception of handler food to the establishment of a healthy canteen at the University Jambi. Method: The research was conducted qualitatively using approach observation and Interview deep. The research subjects were 15 people consisting of 8 informants Main is a food handler and 7 person informant supporters, namely 3 Business Management Agency and 4 students. Result: The perception of food handlers on the establishment of a healthy canteen at Jambi University is quite good. The perception of vulnerability to the establishment of canteens at Jambi University is still not good. Likewise, the perception of barriers to the establishment of a healthy canteen at the University of Jambi is also still less than optimal. Then the readiness for the establishment of a healthy canteen at Jambi University is still inadequate and there are benefits from the establishment of a healthy canteen at Jambi University Conclusion: The perception of food handlers towards the establishment of a healthy canteen at Jambi University is quite good. However, perceptions of vulnerability, barriers, and readiness related to the establishment of a healthy canteen at Jambi University are still not optimal and there are benefits in establishing a healthy canteen at Jambi University. It is hoped that the canteen at Jambi University will make a policy regarding this matter, improve facilities and infrastructure and provide training to food handlers to increase knowledge about healthy canteens.

Abstract

Work fatigue is a problem that must be prioritized, work fatigue is the second contributor to the number of work accidents after traffic accidents. The high number of informal workers allows high accidents in the workplace.The purpose of this study is to discuss the factors that influence fatigue in informal sector workers. This research is a descriptive study with a systematic review method. The literature search strategy uses a prism flow chart, and inclusion and exclusion criteria. The databases used include: PubMed, DOAJ, Science Direct, Taylor and Francis, and Google Scholar. Of the 25 articles, all of them used cross-sectional research. The average type of informal work obtained from the 25 articles is labor. Overall, the journal articles obtained discuss the factors that affect work fatigue in informal sector workers. Age, nutritional status, workload were found to affect work fatigue in informal sector workers. Meanwhile, working period, working hours and work environment were not found to be related to the incidence of CTS in informal sector workers.

Abstract

Every workplace has a risk of work accidents. Potential hazards and risks in the workplace can occur due to work systems or work processes that are not in accordance with procedures, the use of machines, tools and materials that are not careful, the behavior of workers, as well as the work environment itself which will have an impact on reducing the effectiveness of workers. The purpose of this study was to determine the potential hazards and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) in PKS XYZ. This research uses a descriptive qualitative research type. The research informants were determined using purposive sampling, totaling 13 informants consisting of 3 key informants, 7 main informants and 3 supporting informants. Data collection techniques were carried out by in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Test the validity of the data using triangulation techniques. The research results obtained in the palm oil processing and production section at PKS XYZ contained 51 potential hazards spread over 7 work stations which were classified into 5 sources of danger including mechanical hazards, physical hazards, chemical hazards, electrical hazards, and ergonomic hazards. So it is necessary to have support from the company to implement an Occupational Safety and Health management system in factories and require workers to use personal protective equipment while working.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Kasus low back pain (LBP) terjadi karna faktor gangguan fisik dan kesalahan dalam mobilisasi pada saat bekerja. Salah satu sektor informal yang sering mengalami LBP adalah sektor usaha pengrajin batik. Usaha ini mengharuskan pekerjanya untuk duduk dalam waktu yang lama dimana hal ini dapat menyebabkan gangguan otot punggung pengrajin batik. Tujuan penelitian mengetahui pengaruh pemberian gerakan peregangan terhadap kejadian low back pain (LBP) pada Pengrajin Batik. Metode : Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi eksperimen menggunakan desain sebelum dan sesudah (only before and after design). Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pengrajin batik di Kecamatan Danau Teluk. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah total dari populasi yang berjumlah 30 orang pengrajin batik. Sumber data diperoleh melalui alat ukur Oswestry Low Back Pain Disability (ODI), pemberian gerakan peregangan, wawancara dan observasi di lapangan. Peregangan dilakukan sebelum dan sesudah pengrajin melakukan proses membatik. Pengukuran LBP dilakukan dua kali yaitu sebelum pemberian gerakan peregangan dan setelah diberikan gerakan peregangan selama 7 hari pemantauan sampel. Masing-masing LBP diukur setelah pengrajin selesai membatik. Analisis data menggunakan uji Wilcoxon pada interval kepercayaan 95%. Hasil: Rata-rata skor LBP sebelum dilakukan peregangan adalah 18,63 (SD = 4,271), sedangkan rata-rata skor LBP setelah dilakukan peregangan adalah 5,83 (SD = 3,705). Hasil uji Wilcoxon diperoleh nilai probabilitas < 0,001 artinya ada pengaruh pemberian gerakan peregangan terhadap kejadian low back pain (LBP) pada Pengrajin Batik (p< 0,05). Kesimpulan: Ada pengaruh pemberian gerakan peregangan terhadap kejadian low back pain (LBP) pada Pengrajin Batik. Saran: Disarankan kepada pengrajin batik agar dapat melakukan gerakan peregangan baik sebelum maupun sesudah proses membatik agar dapat mencegah terjadinya LBP. Abstract

Breast milk (ASI) is the main food and drink needed for children aged 0-6 months. At the age of children 6 months to 2 years, breastfeeding needs to be supplemented with complementary foods (MP-ASI). The mother's inability to breastfeed from birth to at least two years of age is caused by several factors, including limited breastfeeding techniques, and imbalanced consumption patterns during pregnancy and breastfeeding, thereby reducing the quantity and quality of breast milk. In this community service activity, nutritional education related to breastfeeding techniques and balanced consumption patterns that support the success of breastfeeding in the first 1000 days of life has been carried out with the target of members of the Indonesian Breastfeeding Mothers Association (Aimi) Jambi Region. Community service activities carried out include: (1) nutrition education related to breastfeeding techniques and balanced nutrition patterns; and (2) a demonstration of the processing of nutritionally balanced foods and beverages to produce quality and high-quality breast milk. There was a significant difference in the participants' knowledge compared to before the nutrition education (test score from 60 to 92).
