Abstract

This research is motivated by the implementation of the Independent Curriculum which requires the creation of a flexible and student-centered learning approach. Teacher competence in carrying out differentiated learning is an important component for achieving a maximum educational process. This research seeks to examine the extent to which teachers’ pedagogical competence affects the application of differentiated instruction at Muhammadiyah Senior High School Imogiri. This research employs a descriptive quantitative approach. The data were analyzed using several techniques, including tests for validity, reliability, and normality, as well as simple linear correlation and regression analysis. The subjects in this study amounted to 22 teachers with the main instrument in the form of questionnaires. The findings indicate that teachers’ pedagogical competence exerts a positive and significant impact on the implementation of differentiated instruction at SMA Muhammadiyah Imogiri. This is supported by the regression analysis results, which indicate that teachers’ pedagogical competence accounts for 54.4% of the effectiveness in implementing differentiated learning. These findings also show that aspects such as understanding student characteristics, selecting appropriate learning methods, and being able to design adaptive learning are important factors. Teachers with higher levels of pedagogic competence tend to be able to build a responsive, inclusive, and student-oriented learning environment. Therefore, enhancing pedagogical competence is a strategic effort to support the successful enactment of the Independent Curriculum within schools.

Abstract

This research discusses the Juridical Analysis of the Application of Government Regulation Number 16 of 2021 concerning Building in DKI Jakarta Province. The focus of the research is directed at the effectiveness of local policies in adjusting national regulations to the diverse urban dynamics of Jakarta, especially related to the Building Approval mechanism (PBG), supervision system, and enforcement of administrative sanctions. Using a normative juridical approach and analyzing local regulations such as Government Regulation No. 16 of 2021 on the Implementation Regulation of Law No. 28 of 2002 on Building, this research identifies implementative obstacles, such as weak supervision, limited human resources, and low public legal awareness. The findings show that adaptation efforts have not been fully optimized, so policy adjustments, institutional strengthening, and cross-sector collaboration are needed. This research confirms the importance of digitalization, public participation, and consistency of law enforcement in creating orderly and sustainable building development in Jakarta.

Abstract

Academic dishonesty, including plagiarism and data fabrication, remains a persistent challenge in higher education, driven by weak governance, low transparency, and limited stakeholder engagement, yet systematic evidence linking sustainability to fraud prevention is limited. This study aims to analyze how sustainability initiatives in universities mitigate academic misconduct and strengthen governance, transparency, and accountability. Using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) following PRISMA guidelines, 119 Scopus-indexed articles (2014–2024) were identified, of which 53 met inclusion criteria focusing on sustainability integration in curricula, governance, and campus operations. Thematic analysis revealed that embedding sustainability in academic programs, implementing transparent reporting systems, fostering student and staff participation, and adopting eco-friendly technologies cultivates a culture of integrity, reducing plagiarism and data fabrication by 20–30%. Case studies from Europe, Asia, and Latin America demonstrate that sustainable governance frameworks enhance oversight, ethical behavior, and institutional resilience. These findings suggest that sustainability functions as a comprehensive approach to promoting academic ethics and accountability. By integrating sustainability holistically across operational and academic systems, universities can effectively prevent fraud, reinforce stakeholder responsibility, and contribute to higher education governance literature by providing empirical evidence that links sustainability adoption with improved institutional integrity.

Abstract

This study investigates the effect of students’ knowledge on traffic awareness among junior high school students at SMP Negeri Sorek Dua, Pangkalan Kuras, Pelalawan, Riau. A quantitative descriptive design was employed using total sampling of 224 students (Grades VII–IX). Data were collected via two Likert-scale questionnaires (16 items for knowledge; 16 items for awareness). Instrument quality was confirmed through item validity testing and reliability analysis (Cronbach’s alpha = 0.873 for knowledge; 0.862 for awareness). Assumption checks indicated normal data distribution and a linear relationship between variables. Descriptively, students’ traffic knowledge was high (mean score = 84.2), and traffic awareness was good (mean score = 81.5). Simple linear regression showed significant and effect of knowledge on traffic awareness. There is 79% of the variance in awareness is explained by knowledge, with the remaining 21% attributable to other factors. These findings highlight the central role of cognitive understanding in shaping safe traffic behavior. Practically, integrating traffic safety content into Social Studies (IPS), coupled with experiential activities (simulations, role-play) and reinforcement through school patrol (PKS), is recommended to transform knowledge into consistent safe practices.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of audit characteristics, including Audit Opinion, Audit Industry Specialization, and Audit Reputation, along with company characteristics such as Company Age and Financial Distress, on Audit Report Lag in non-primary consumer sector companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange from 2011 to 2022. Analyzing data from 61 companies over 12 years with 732 observations, the research employs multiple linear regression analysis in EViews12. Findings reveal that collectively, audit opinion, industry specialization, audit reputation, company age, and financial distress significantly influence Audit Report Lag. Specifically, audit opinion, industry specialization, audit reputation, and financial distress exhibit a negative impact on Audit Report Lag, while company age has a positive effect. The study recommends future research to explore other sectors and include internal company variables like independent commissioners and institutional ownership for a more comprehensive analysis. The focus solely on auditor-related variables suggests avenues for broader investigations into internal company dynamic

Abstract

Abstract

Root cutting is speculated able to increase nutrient uptake by oil palm. The objective of this study was to investigate the effect of root trimming on the growth, flowering, and yield of oil palm. The research focused on oil palm plants aged five years old in the field. The experiment used a nested design with two key factors: root-cutting depth as the main plot and root-pruning intensity as the subplot. Results showed that root cutting at a depth of 0 to 20 cm from the soil surface followed by cutting intensities of 50% and 75% enhanced plant height at 0, 3, and 9 months after treatment. The treatments did not affect other variables including flowering and yield of oil palm trees. Keywords: bunch weight; cutting intensity; root trimming; sex ratio
