Abstract

Indonesia is a developing country, and poverty is an issue that is the focus of consideration. The issue of needs can be seen from the components that influence it. These elements combine sluggish economic development, a low human development index, and rising unemployment. Accordingly, this investigation is expected to determine the impact of the aforementioned factors. This study uses a quantitative methodology with an elucidation approach. The source of data in this test is secondary data, the data used in this test is data from 2017 – 2020. This assessment plans to determine the effect of the human development index in West Kalimantan on poverty levels using time series data. The results of the estimation analysis show that the HDI variable has a negative and significant effect on the level of poor people in West Kalimantan, HDI affects Poverty by 18.6%, the HDI variable shows a significant value of 0.001 and is smaller than 0.05, therefore Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. It can be concluded that HDI affects the poverty rate in West Kalimantan throughout 2017– 2020.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang keterlibatan indec card match dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara pada siswa kelas IV UPT SDN 5 Tarowang Kabupaten. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan index card math untuk meningkatka keterampilan berbicara siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian tindaka kelas . subjek pada penelitian ini yaitu siswa dangan guru pada kelas IV UPT SDN 5 Tarowang Kabupaten Jenepnto. Data pada penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan tes keterampilan berbicara dengan menggunakan strategi index card match, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dalam penerapan index card match yang diterapkan dengan benar maka akan meningkatkan kualitas keterampilan berbica. Pelaksanaan strategi ini juga sudah efektif jika diterapkan sejak dibangku sekolah dasar karna dapat meningkatkan keaktifan siswa dalam menyampaikan pendapatnya dimuka umum. Pendekatan yang digunakan menekankan pada penyesuaian pendekatan pembelajaran sesuai dengan kebutuhan individu peserta didik.

Abstract

This study explores the implementation of Islamic parenting in fostering resilience among orphans at Al-Jam'iyatul Washliyah Orphanage in Medan. A descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach was utilized to obtain an in-depth understanding of the phenomenon. Participants consisted of caregivers, foster children, and orphanage staff members who were directly involved in caregiving activities. Data were gathered through semi-structured interviews, direct observation, and documentation, and analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s interactive model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that Islamic parenting characterized by role modeling (al-uswah), habituation of worship (al-‘adah), provision of advice (al-mau’izhah), attentiveness (al-mulahazhoh), and non-violent discipline (al-‘uqbah), contributed significantly to enhancing the orphans’ resilience across psychological, social, and academic domains. These methods supported the development of emotional regulation, self-discipline, empathy, social connectedness, and spiritual awareness. Caregivers functioned not only as educators but also as surrogate parents who provided moral direction, emotional security, and consistent routines. The study concludes that Islamic parenting practices hold potential as a strategic framework for strengthening resilience in institutional care settings. Their adoption in other orphanages or childcare institutions may offer valuable benefits in promoting the psychological well-being and holistic development of children affected by loss, abandonment, or economic hardship.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the full day school policy in Islamic Religious Education learning at SDIT Plus Usman Bin Ali Medan. This research employs a qualitative method with a descriptive study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and observations regarding the full day school policy in Islamic Religious Education learning at SDIT Plus Usman Bin Ali Medan. The data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model and validated through triangulation. The results show that the full day school policy in Islamic Religious Education learning at SDIT Plus Usman Bin Ali Medan has proven to be an effective solution in shaping a rabbani generation that is intelligent and possesses noble character, in line with the school’s vision and mission. It is expected that this research can serve as an additional reference and provide insight for other SDIT Plus schools or, more broadly, regarding the implementation of the full day school policy in Islamic Religious Education.

Abstract

This Community Service Program (PKM) aims at enhancing the English communication skills of tourism practitioners in Timbanuh Village, Pringgasela, East Lombok. The urgency lies in the need for local tourism practitioners to adapt to the global market, which emphasizes sustainability and the competitiveness of local destinations. The PKM also serves to expand productive and inclusive employment opportunities while supporting the village's economic sustainability through more professional tourism management. The PKM was designed as English for Tourism training based on local resources and wisdom. The training was conducted in four phases: vocabulary and phrases, expressions related to English for Tourism, interactive exercises, and intercultural learning. The activities were delivered through a learning model that integrates theory and practice, alongside interactive discussions. The results of this PKM indicate an improvement in participants’ English proficiency within the context of tourism.

Abstract

The issue of environmental protection has become a significant concern in international relations, with numerous countries striving to preserve the environment through various initiatives. One such initiative is the conduct of international cooperation, which is implemented through a special program on the environment. This study seeks to ascertain the dynamics of the cooperation between Indonesia and Norway on environmental matters, with a particular focus on the Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation (REDD+) programme, which operated from 2017 to 2021. The objective of this initiative, which falls under the umbrella of environmental cooperation, is the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions resulting from deforestation and forest degradation. The REDD+ program is a funding mechanism designed to support initiatives aimed at mitigating greenhouse gas emissions resulting from deforestation and forest degradation. The methodology employed in this research entails the utilization of qualitative research techniques, namely descriptive analysis, to generate insights from the data collected. This study's theoretical approach is informed by the context of international cooperation, particularly the historical bilateral relationship between Indonesia and Norway. The results of this research indicate the implementation of cooperation between Indonesia and Norway in the environmental sector through the REDD + program between the years 2017 and 2021, which was met with a number of significant challenges. These included issues related to the protection of forests, delays in fulfilling cooperation requirements, and disagreements with indigenous peoples. Additionally, the study identifies the problem of the implementation of Result Based Payments by Norway and the termination of Indonesia-Norway REDD+ cooperation.

Abstract

Rural communities have a desire to live a decent life, so they make efforts to advance the businesses they run to achieve these goals. Where in the process of advancing the business is not always smooth. It is not uncommon for people to need an injection of funds to finance their business. Islamic financial institutions are present in rural communities, especially in Sila Rato Village to help finance business activities run by the community. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to find out the role of Islamic financial institutions in supporting the economic independence of the community, especially in Sila Rato village. The type of research is qualitative research. Then the data collection techniques used are observation, interview and documentation. The research location is Rato Sila Village, Bima Regency, West Nusa Tenggara. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. Based on the results of the study, Islamic financial institutions have played a significant role in encouraging the economic independence of the Sila Rato Village community by providing financial resources that can be accessed easily and in accordance with sharia. The existence of these institutions not only improves economic welfare, but also strengthens social ties and solidarity among community members through financing based on the principles of mutual cooperation and risk sharing. Thus, Islamic financial institutions have a positive impact on the community.

Abstract

Creative thinking is an essential skill that needs to be developed from an early age. The absence of valid and reliable instruments poses major challenges in identifying and enhancing students’ creative thinking skills in elementary school mathematics learning. This study aimed to evaluate the validity and reliability of a creative thinking assessment instrument for elementary school mathematics subjects. A quantitative approach was employed with five expert validators and 150 research participants selected through total sampling. The research instruments included expert validation sheets and a creative thinking assessment instrument for elementary mathematics. Data were analyzed using several methods: Aiken’s V for content validity, Rasch model analysis for dimensionality, Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) for construct validity, Ebel’s formula for inter-rater reliability, and Cronbach’s Alpha for internal consistency reliability. The results showed that the creative thinking assessment instrument was valid and reliable, indicating that it can be used as an accurate measurement tool to identify students’ creative thinking skills. The findings of this study serve as a valuable reference for educators in evaluating creative thinking and provide a foundation for developing more innovative learning strategies in mathematics education.

Abstract

Pendidikan memiliki peranan penting dalam menentukan kemajuan suatu negara, dimana dari pendidikan akan membentuk sumber daya manusia yang kompeten dan siap bersaing secara global. Akan tetapi, banyak dijumpai peserta didik di jenjang pendidikan menengah yang mengalami kecemasan akademik. Tekanan akademik, kecemasan sosial dan juga adanya kompetisi antar peserta didik menjadi faktor peserta didik mengalami kecemasan akademik. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, peneliti menggunakan layanan konseling kelompok dalam membantu peserta didik mengelola tingkat kecemasan akademik. Artikel ini membahas tentang penerapan konseling kelompok dalam mengatasi kecemasan akademik peserta didik. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitiatif dengan metode pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara serta dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bentuk kecemasan yang dialami oleh peserta didik SMAS Muhammadiyah Sampit berupa rasa gugup, khawatir juga cemas. Faktor yang mempengaruhi bentuk kecemasan tersebut dapat berupa faktor eksternal maupun intermal. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa konseling kelompok memiliki peran efektif dalam menurunkan tingkat kecemasan akademik peserta didik. Dengan adanya konseling kelompok, peserta didik mendapatkan dukungan secrara emosional serta sosial, kesadaran diri yang meningkat serta terbangunnya kepercayaan diri terhadap kemampuan diri sendiri.Keyword : konseling kelompok, kecemasan akademik, peserta didik, bentuk dan faktor, kepercayaan diri

Abstract

Background: Indonesia has pressing issues regarding Quality health services and patient protection. This study investigates the legal protections available to patients who receive inadequate services, as provided by Law Number 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection. It focuses on implementing health services in the emergency room at the Sape Community Health Center, Bima Regency. Objective: The primary aim of this study is to assess the legal protections for patients confronting substandard health services and to evaluate the effectiveness of these services in the emergency room. Method: The research employs a combination of normative and empirical legal methods. Data was gathered through document analysis, interviews, observations, and literature reviews, with qualitative descriptive techniques used for data analysis. Results: The findings reveal that Law Number 8 of 1999 offers significant protections for patients experiencing poor health services, including the right to clear information, safe medical procedures, and the ability to lodge negligence claims. However, the registration process, particularly for BPJS patients, is cumbersome, even though initial medical actions and observations are handled appropriately. Conclusion and Recommendations: While Law No. 8 of 1999 safeguards patient rights, it is recommended that the Sape Health Center streamline the registration process for BPJS patients and enhance the promotion of patient rights as stipulated under the Consumer Protection Law.
