Abstract

Waste can have a bad impact on human health conditions. If waste is disposed of carelessly or piled up without proper management, it will cause various serious health impacts. Waste that is not treated will have a bad impact on human health. One of them improves good behavior in disposing of garbage by removing garbage cans made from materials that are easy to get around, namely bamboo. The purpose of making waste from bamboo is to reduce scattered waste. This community service activity will be carried out on July 26, 2024. The target of this activity is the people of Sigade Hamlet, Nyatnyono Village. The methods used in this activity are discussions, questions and answers, demonstration lectures, and direct practice by residents. The media used are powerpoint, leaflets, and educational videos about 3R. This activity is carried out in three stages, namely the first stage of preparation for licensing, preparing media for pre-test, and conducting waste management with 3R. The second stage is implementation, namely the delivery of material on waste management with 3R and demonstrating the creation of waste cans by involving the surrounding community. Furthermore, the last stage is evaluation by conducting a test post on the community. The results of the measurement showed that the community's knowledge before being educated about 3R waste management with good results was 5.6%, for sufficient results as much as 72.2%, and results and results were less as much as 22.2%. In addition, for the results after being educated with good results of 44.4%, and for sufficient results of 55.6%,. It is hoped that the people of Sigade Hamlet can implement waste management in the 3R way, namely reduce reuce and recyle.   ABSTRAK Sampah dapat mengakibatkan dampak buruk bagi kondisi kesehatan manusia. Bila sampah dibuang secara sembarangan atau ditumpuk tanpa adanya pengelolaan yang baik, maka akan menimbulkan berbagai macam dampak kesehatan yang serius. Sampah yang tidak diolah akan mengakibatkan dampak buruk bagi kesehatan manusia. Salah satu meningkatkan perilaku yang baik dalam membuang sampah dengan pembautan tempat sampah yang terbuat dari bahan yang mudah didapatkan disekitar yaitu bambu. Tujuan pembuatan sampah dari bambu ini untuk mengurangi limbah sampah yang berserakan. kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini di laksanakan pada tanggal 26 Juli 2024. Untuk sasaran kegiatan ini adalah masyarakat Dusun Sigade, Desa Nyatnyono. Metode yang di gunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah diskusi, tanya jawab, ceramah demonstrasi, dan praktik langsung oleh warga. Media yang di gunakan yaitu powerpoint, leaflet, dan video edukasi tentang 3R. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan tiga tahap yaitu tahap pertama persiapan melakukan perijinan, menyiapkan media melakukan pre test, dan melakukan pengelolaan sampah dengan 3R. Tahap kedua yaitu pelaksanaan yaitu penyampaian materi tentang pengelolaan sampah dengan 3R dan mendemostrasikan pembuatan tempat sampah dengan melibatkan masyarakat sekitar. Selanjutnya tahap terakhir yaitu evaluasi dengan melakukan pos tes pada masyrakat. Hasil dari pengukuran bahwa pengetahuan Masyarakat sebelum diberi edukasi mengenai pengelolaan sampah 3R dengan hasil baik sebanyak 5,6%, untuk hasil cukup sebanyak 72,2%, hasil dan hasil kurang sebanyak 22,2%. Selain itu untuk hasil setelah diberi edukasi dengan hasil baik sebanyak 44,4%, dan untuk hasil cukup sebanyak 55,6%,. Di harapkan masyarakat Dusun Sigade dapat menerapkan pengelolaan sampah dengan cara 3R yaitu reduce reuce dan recyle.

Abstract

Nyatnyono Village, particularly in Dusun Branggah RW 08, faces significant health challenges among the pre-elderly group, especially concerning the risk of degenerative diseases such as Diabetes Mellitus (DM). With low awareness of the importance of regular health check-ups and unhealthy lifestyles, such as high sugar consumption and lack of physical activity, effective interventions are urgently needed. This program aims to raise health awareness and provide practical solutions through the production of Ginger Gummies as a supplement to lower blood sugar levels. The implementation methods include education about DM and the benefits of ginger, training on how to make Ginger Gummies, and surveys to measure knowledge and health behavior. The results of the program indicate an increase in pre-elderly participation in posyandu activities and blood sugar testing, as well as an increase in Ginger Gummies consumption. This program successfully built awareness of the importance of healthy living and diabetes management among the elderly and strengthened community involvement in health efforts. ABSTRAK Desa Nyatnyono, khususnya Dusun Branggah RW 08, menghadapi tantangan kesehatan yang signifikan pada kelompok pra-lansia, terutama terkait risiko penyakit degeneratif seperti Diabetes Melitus (DM). Dengan rendahnya kesadaran akan pentingnya pemeriksaan kesehatan rutin dan gaya hidup tidak sehat, seperti konsumsi makanan tinggi gula dan kurangnya aktivitas fisik, intervensi yang efektif sangat diperlukan. Program ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran kesehatan dan memberikan solusi praktis melalui pembuatan Gummy Jahe sebagai suplemen untuk menurunkan kadar gula darah. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup edukasi tentang DM dan manfaat jahe, pelatihan pembuatan Gummy Jahe, serta survei untuk mengukur pengetahuan dan perilaku kesehatan. Hasil program menunjukkan peningkatan partisipasi pra-lansia dalam kegiatan posyandu dan pemeriksaan gula darah, serta peningkatan konsumsi Gummy Jahe. Program ini berhasil membangun kesadaran akan pentingnya pola hidup sehat dan pengelolaan diabetes di kalangan lansia, serta memperkuat keterlibatan komunitas dalam upaya kesehatan.

Abstract

In addition to physical health, mental health in adolescents really needs attention. Mentally healthy individuals can function normally in carrying out their lives, especially when adjusting to face problems that will be encountered throughout a person's life. The role of parents in the family is very influential, especially on the mental development of children. The service activities carried out in Gogik Village are providing education to families about adolescent mental health and how to maintain adolescent mental health. Based on an initial survey conducted to adolescent families in Gogik Village who were present, it was found that more than 87.5% of families did not know about how to maintain mental health in adolescents. Before being given increased knowledge with health education, out of 32 participants, 28 (87.5%) had less knowledge in maintaining mental health in adolescents. After being given increased knowledge with Health Education, it was known that as many as 32 participants (100%) had good knowledge in maintaining mental health in adolescents

Abstract

The presence of the Enlightenment Era (Aufklarung) in the 18th century which emphasized rationality and reason, has not been able to eliminate the belief in ghosts in modern society. Currently, rationalization of ghosts is often found in books, television, films, and social media. Efforts to rationalize ghosts actually thwart enlightenment and lead modern society into the commodification of ghosts through the culture industry scheme. In Theodor W. Adorno's Critical Theory, the culture industry is always commercially oriented and makes ghosts a commodity to gain profit. The purpose of this study is to reveal why enlightenment has failed again in modern society by dismantling the commodification of ghosts. This study offers a solution to awaken modern society from false consciousness due to the rationalization of ghosts that are bound by the commodification of ghosts. This study is also expected to be able to renew Adorno's Critical Theory in the context of enlightenment in modern society, namely a different society when this theory was first proposed. Methodology of this study is a qualitative study using the netnography method with a critical paradigm. The object is modern society represented in 9,682 comments on the YouTube Channel "Kisah Tanah Jawa" episode "KKN Desa Penari". By using netnography and analysis of modern society conversation themes from the channel, this study shows the existence of sub-themes of standardization, massification, commodification and false consciousness which indicate the presence of the culture industry scheme. This study also shows how ghost symbols in the culture industry scheme have been produced through 4 approaches to ghost symbol production involving the help of science, technology, religion and rationalist narrative construction in forming false consciousness. This study also reveals the active role of modern society in encouraging the formation of ghost commodification. The result of this study show that society plays an important role in efforts to prevent the failure of enlightenment. True enlightenment is only possible if the relationship between text producers, text consumers, and capital owners is no longer dominated by the logic of capitalism. To achieve this, modern society needs to encourage decommodification of every ghost commodification that occurs and always develop critical awareness to reduce the occurrence of domination and exploitation behind the cultural products they consume to prevent the failure of enlightenment.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of developing differentiated process learning modules on rational number material in improving students' critical reasoning skills. This study has a novelty in developing learning modules, namely by integrating process differentiation through the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) development model. This approach provides hope in adjusting the needs of diverse learners so that it has the potential to be more optimal in achieving learning objectives. The research method used is quantitative, with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The trial was conducted on 24 students at SMP Negeri Satu Atap 1 Kalipucang, Pangandaran Regency, West Java. The research instruments include student and teacher response questionnaires, as well as pretest and posttest tests to measure improvements in critical reasoning skills. The results of the study showed a significant increase in students' critical reasoning skills, with an average pretest score of 21.15 and a posttest score of 77.92. The average N-Gain value of 0.7279 (72.79%) showed a high increase in achievement. In addition, statistical analysis using a paired sample t-test with a p-value of 0.000 and an effect size of 5.831 proved that the differentiated process learning module had a very large impact on improving students' critical reasoning skills. The use of this module is effective because it not only improves learning outcomes but also encourages students to be more active in critical thinking through a more personalized and tailored learning approach. Thus, this learning module can be adopted by other educators as a tool to support more inclusive and effective learning in improving students' high-level thinking skills.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technology has transformed various aspects of life, particularly in the economic sector. The banking industry, including Islamic banks, has adapted to technological progress by introducing innovations to enhance operational efficiency. Information and communication technology play a crucial role in maintaining banking operations, enabling the development of digital banking services such as mobile banking applications and web-based banking platforms. Digitalization has significantly reshaped financial transactions, providing customers with greater convenience while simultaneously exposing them to new risks. The increasing use of mobile banking is accompanied by a rise in potential security threats due to the accessibility of digital financial services. This study aims to analyze the risks associated with mobile banking usage and the strategies employed by Islamic banks to mitigate these risks. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, this study explores the challenges posed by mobile banking, particularly in the context of Islamic banking, and examines the measures implemented to ensure secure and efficient financial transactions. The findings indicate that risks such as data breaches, cyber fraud, and unauthorized access are among the primary concerns in mobile banking. To address these issues, Islamic banks implement various security measures, including encryption, multi-factor authentication, and continuous system monitoring. Furthermore, compliance with Shariah principles is integrated into digital banking security frameworks to ensure ethical financial practices. The study concludes that while mobile banking offers numerous benefits, addressing security risks is essential to maintaining customer trust and safeguarding financial stability in the Islamic banking sector.

Abstract

Selamanik Village, Cipaku District, Ciamis Regency, has developed various tourist village programs to increase its attractiveness as a leading destination. This research aims to analyze local wisdom-based destination branding strategies implemented through tourism programs in this village. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation studies. The research results show that tourism programs such as Live-In Selamanik, Kampung Jaya Wijaya Innovation, and the potential development of sunflowers currently underway are expected to be the main elements in building the image of the village as a tourism destination based on education, culture and Agrotourism in accordance with local wisdom demonstrated. The branding strategy implemented includes the use of social media, strengthening local identity through tourism icons, and active community involvement in tourism management. Meanwhile, the competitiveness of tourist villages is increased through diversifying outdoor activities, improving facilities, and developing tourism experiences based on community participation. This research concludes that the success of the Selamanik Tourism Village branding strategy is very dependent on the synergy between the village government, community and tourists. The recommendations given include increasing digital promotions, strengthening collaboration with tourism stakeholders, as well as sustainable innovation in local wisdom-based tourism programs.

Abstract

Being a competent leader especially is a governmental office is essential. Transformational leadership is one of leadership styles that can be applied when someone becomes a leader. Erick Thohir, Indonesian Minister of State-Owned Enterprises can be included as the leader who applies transformational leadership. Through Instagram, Minister Erick frequently posts his work on Instagram and demonstrates his concern for Indonesian society. Consequently, Instagram has become an essential solution in optimizing a government work system. This study aimed to identify academically and scientifically the use of Instagram in the bureaucratic system to improve service quality based on the various information events obtained by the researchers. The method of this research is using qualitative approach. To analyze the relationship between Instagram and government bureaucracy, the researchers drew upon diverse aspects of the Transformational Leadership theory. The object of this study is @erickthohir's Instagram account as the representative Indonesian governor. The dataset was taken from scientific articles that support this analysis. The results demonstrated that Erick Thohir had implemented Instagram effectively to express his dedication to providing outstanding service to Indonesian society. The existence of Instagram facilitates the government's access to information about the community. As a result, interactions between the government and the community become easier and more efficient.

Abstract

This research is aim to know the credit collectibility of BPR-BKK in Banyumas regency of May period 2004-Juni 2005. There are 24 BPR-BKK and 3 BKK operating in 27 subdistrict in Banyumas regency. Data needed is financial statement of BPR-BKK in Banyumas regency that is balance sheet and analyze conducted tabulationly and proportion. Result of calculation indicate that the credit which is the included inperforming loan equal to 93, 76% and credit which is the included in the non performing loan is equal to 6.24%.Keyword s.’ Collectibility, NPL.

Abstract

Blood pressure is an important indicator in assessing a person's cardiovascular health. Smoking can worsen blood pressure through the narrowing of blood vessels due to nicotine, while physical activity has the potential to lower blood pressure. However, the relationship between physical activity and blood pressure in adult smokers is still rarely studied. To determine the relationship between physical activity and blood pressure in adult smokers in Kesongo Village, Tuntang District, Semarang Regency. This study uses descriptive correlation. The population is 2,341 people, a sample of 96 respondents selected using purposive sampling with the criteria of active smokers aged 19-44 years. Physical activity was measured using the IPAQ (International Physical Activity Questionnaire) questionnaire and blood pressure using a digital sphygmomanometer. Most respondents had heavy physical activity (60.4%) and blood pressure in the pre-hypertension category (57.3% systolic, 24% diastolic). Statistical analysis with the Pearson product moment test showed a significant relationship between physical activity and systolic blood pressure with a weak positive relationship (r = 0.214, p = 0.036). Education on appropriate physical activity patterns for smokers is needed to optimize health benefits. Efforts to reduce smoking habits remain the main step in preventing hypertension. Abstrak Tekanan darah merupakan indikator penting dalam menilai Kesehatan kardiovaskular seseorang. Merokok dapat memperburuk tekanan darah melalui penyempitan pembuluh akibat nikotin, sementara aktivitas fisik berpotensi menurunkan tekanan darah. Namun, hubungan antara aktivitas fisik dan tekanan darah pada perokok dewasa masiah jarang diteliti. Mengetahui hubungan antara aktivitas fisik dengan tekanan darah pada perokok dewasa di Desa Kesongo, Kecamatan Tuntang, Kabupaten Semarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif korelasional. Populasi 2.341 jiwa, sampel 96 responden yang dipilih menggunakan purposive sampling  dengan kriteria perokok aktif usia dewasa 19 – 44 tahun. Aktivitas fisik diukur dengan kuesioner IPAQ (International Physical Activity Questionnaire) dan tekanan darah menggunakan sphygmomanometer digital. Sebagian besar responden memiliki aktivitas fisik berat (60,4%) dan tekanan darah kategori pre-hipertensi (57,3% sistolik, 24% diastolik). Analisis stsatistik dengan uji pearson product moment menunjukkan terdapat hubungan signifikan antara aktiivtas fisik dan tekanan darah sistolik dengan hubungan positif yang lemah (r  = 0,214, p = 0,036). Diperlukan edukasi pola aktivitas fiisk yang sesuai bagi perokok untuk mengoptimalkan manfaat Kesehatan. Upaya pengurangan kebiasaan merokok tetap menajadi Langkah utama dalam pencegahan hipertensi.
