Abstract

Rendahnya kualitas penulisan artikel ilmiah mahasiswa serta tuntutan penulisan artikel sebagai syaarat yudisium menuntut solusi yang terbaik untuk mengatasi maslah tersebut. Sehingga perlu dilakukan sebuah pengabdian yang bertujuan untuk mengingkatkan kemampuan menulis artikel mahasiswa melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan. Pengabdian ini dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mahasiswa PGSD Musamus untuk menulis artikel ilmiah. Jumlah peserta pengabdian ini sebanyak 30 orang, dimana mahasiswa ini adalah mahasiswa yang sudah selesai penelitian. Metode pengabdian yang dilakukan adalah pelatihan dengan teknik ceramah, diskusi dan praktik sedangkan pendampingan dilakukan dengan teknik klinik artikel mahasiswa. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa Pelatihan dan pendampingan berdampak positif terhadap  kemampuan mahasiswa dalam menyusun artikel ilmiah. Hal ini dapat dilihat peningkatan pengetahuan mahasiswa sebelum dan sesudah kegiatan serta hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah artikel mahasiswa yang siap untuk disubmid dijurnal untuk dipublish. Sehingga dapat direkomendasikan adalah kegiatan yang dilakukan ini bisa berlanjut dan dijadikan sebuah kegiatan rutin untuk meningkatkan kualitas tulisan mahasiswa.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to provide an overview of the strategies used by leaders in tertiary institutions, especially at the faculty level, in improving the quality of education. This research is a survey conducted to identify the views of each respondent in assessing the quality of education in tertiary institutions by looking at the strategies used by the leaders of the Respondents in this study, namely the academic community at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Musamus University. The measuring tool designed in the form of a questionnaire related to the seven categories in Malcolm Baldrige. The questionnaire created was an adaptation of the original MBCfPE Education Criteria application. Questions that were originally in the form of essays were changed to form of choice answers to make it easier for respondents to answer and direct them to the basic needs of each category. The results of the study show that the strategies used by leaders in improving the quality of education are carried out by establishing a clear vision and mission, building a solid team, and implementing an appropriate performance measurement system. Effective leadership in tertiary institutions must have a clear vision and mission to motivate staff and students, and direct universities to achieve long-term strategic goals.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how the implementation of Village Fund management in Kemiri Village, Makki District, Lanny Jaya Regency, to find out how productive economic business is in Kemiri Village, Makki District, Lanny Jaya Regency. And to find out whether the implementation of Dana Desa (DD) management in Kemiri Village can improve the community's economy. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Village Fund Management in Improving the Community Economy in Kemiri Village, Makki District, Lanny Jaya Regency in 2020 and analyze the obstacles that hinder the implementation of Village Fund Management in Improving the Community Economy in Kemiri Village in 2020. The author uses qualitative research methods with 10 key informants and data sources in the form of documents and researchers as research instruments to obtain data that meets the requirements in writing this scientific paper. The results of this study indicate that: a). Implementation of Village Fund Management in Improving the Community Economy in Kemiri Village, Lanny Jaya Regency in 2020, which includes indicators: Effectiveness, Efficiency, Adequacy, Equity, Responsiveness and Accuracy has been going well, although there are still people who are not satisfied with the implementation of the Village Fund program in improve the economy of the people in Kemiri Village in 2020. b). The obstacles to implementing Village Fund management in Improving the Community Economy in Kemiri Village, Makki District include: psychological constraints on the distribution of village funds that are not in accordance with technical guidelines/or lacking, the market field is difficult to predict for external markets, political constraints of the Regency Government, District Government, Government The village is not consistent in the funding ceiling available for serious realization in the village but there is budget politics, the village government's authority does not run optimally, practical political factors during the election are a measure of the distribution of village funds, resource constraints all SPJ (Surat Pertanggung Jawaban) is regulated by District Government because the Human Development Index in Kemiri Village is still low in special skills, there is no reality, this can be seen in the realization of the distribution budget for non-physical village funds, which is more than for physical development.

Abstract

Ethnopedagogy is the actualization of learning that is oriented to local wisdom values. The concrete embodiment of local wisdom values can be found in character education. The concept of ethnopedagogy is used in formal school learning, including SMPN 4 Singaraja. This study aimed to identify the role of ethnopedagogy based on Tri Hita Karana as character education at SMPN 4 Singaraja. This research was a descriptive qualitative type. The object of this study was the role of ethnopedagogy based on Tri Hita Karana as character education, while the subjects of this study were students of SMPN 4 Singaraja. The data were collected through observation, discussion, in-depth interviews, and involved participation. The data were analyzed with descriptive methods. Based on the analysis, student character can be formed from an exciting learning process and habits taught at school. Developing student character takes work, and many ways exist to create student character in a much better direction. Collaboration between teachers, students, parents, and the community is one of the keys to successfully forming student character. Tri Hita Karana’s ethnopedagogy in schools is the foundation for developing students’ character following the values of character education, namely the Parahyangan, which focuses on teaching religious values. Pawongan, moral character values, tolerance, democracy, respect for achievement, friendship, and social care. Palemahan, the importance of character education that teaches care for the environment.

Abstract

Ketahanan air menjadi tantangan global yang semakin kompleks akibat perubahan iklim dan pertumbuhan populasi. Studi ini mengkaji peran kearifan lokal dalam pengelolaan sumber daya air oleh komunitas adat di Merauke, Papua Selatan. Menggunakan metode studi kasus kualitatif dengan wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan analisis dokumen, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa praktik adat seperti ritual, zonasi wilayah, dan norma sosial secara efektif menjaga kelestarian sumber air. Struktur sosial komunitas, khususnya peran tokoh adat dan perempuan, berperan penting dalam menjaga tata kelola dan regenerasi pengetahuan. Namun, integrasi antara sistem adat dan kebijakan formal sering mengalami hambatan akibat pendekatan teknokratis yang dominan. Oleh karena itu, pengakuan hukum terhadap kearifan lokal dan kolaborasi antara pemerintah dan komunitas adat menjadi kunci untuk meningkatkan ketahanan air secara inklusif dan berkelanjutan. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi penting bagi pengembangan model pengelolaan air yang adaptif dan kontekstual di wilayah dengan keberagaman sosial budaya.

Abstract

Climate change and public policy dynamics pose significant challenges to water resources management, especially in marginal tropical areas such as Merauke Regency. This study examines adaptation strategies for community-based water resources management by integrating local wisdom, ecosystem approaches, and responsive and participatory policies. The research method uses a qualitative approach with data collection through in-depth interviews, field observations, and policy document analysis. The results show that effective adaptation requires synergy between stakeholders and strengthening of local institutions to increase socio-ecological resilience to climate change. The resulting strategy framework can be a model for sustainable and applicable adaptation in areas with similar geographic and social conditions. This study makes an important contribution to the development of responsive and inclusive climate change adaptation policies

Abstract

Abstrak Pengaruh era digital terhadap gaya hidup remaja semakin nyata, ditandai dengan meningkatnya penggunaan gawai dan menurunnya aktivitas fisik, yang berdampak pada kesehatan mental dan jasmani. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan kesehatan fisik dan mental remaja melalui pelatihan senam mindfulness dan olahraga fungsional. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di SMP Satu Atap Wasur, Merauke, Papua Selatan, dengan sasaran remaja usia 13–18 tahun. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan edukatif-partisipatif, mencakup tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Sesi edukasi membahas pentingnya kesehatan mental dan fisik di era digital, dilanjutkan dengan praktik senam mindfulness untuk melatih fokus dan ketenangan, serta olahraga fungsional untuk meningkatkan kebugaran tanpa alat khusus. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan kesadaran diri, kemampuan regulasi emosi, dan perilaku hidup aktif pada peserta. Sebagian besar siswa merasa lebih fokus, tenang, dan termotivasi untuk menjalankan kebiasaan sehat. Respon positif juga datang dari guru dan orang tua yang mendukung keberlanjutan program ini. Data kuantitatif dari kuesioner awal dan akhir menunjukkan adanya perbaikan signifikan dalam aspek kebugaran fisik dan kesejahteraan emosional. Temuan ini memperkuat relevansi pendekatan yang integratif dan partisipatif dalam pengembangan program promotif-preventif di lingkungan pendidikan. Program ini dinilai efektif dan berpotensi untuk direplikasi sebagai model intervensi sederhana namun berdampak dalam pembentukan karakter dan peningkatan kualitas hidup remaja di era digital Kata kunci: kesehatan mental; mindfulness; olahraga fungsional; remaja; gaya hidup digital.   Abstract The influence of the digital era on adolescent lifestyles is increasingly evident, marked by increased use of gadgets and decreased physical activity, which has an impact on mental and physical health. This community service program aims to optimize the physical and mental health of adolescents through mindfulness gymnastics and functional sports training. The activity was carried out at SMP Satu Atap Wasur, Merauke, South Papua, targeting adolescents aged 13–18 years. The implementation method used an educational-participatory approach, including the preparation, implementation, and evaluation stages. The educational session discussed the importance of mental and physical health in the digital era, followed by mindfulness gymnastics practices to train focus and calmness, and functional sports to improve fitness without special equipment. The results of the activity showed an increase in self-awareness, emotional regulation skills, and active lifestyle behavior in participants. Most students felt more focused, calm, and motivated to carry out healthy habits. Positive responses also came from teachers and parents who supported the sustainability of this program. Quantitative data from the initial and final questionnaires showed significant improvements in aspects of physical fitness and emotional well-being. These findings strengthen the relevance of an integrative and participatory approach in developing promotive-preventive programs in educational environments. This program is considered effective and has the potential to be replicated as a simple but impactful intervention model in character building and improving the quality of life of adolescents in the digital era Keywords: mental health; mindfulness; functional sports; adolescents; digital lifestyle.
