Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran kepemimpinan akademik di Universitas Musamus dalam mengembangkan strategi inovatif dan adaptif yang dapat meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan, memperkuat daya saing, dan mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai lokal dalam menghadapi tantangan globalisasi. Pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus dipilih untuk memperoleh pemahaman mendalam tentang praktik kepemimpinan akademik dalam konteks lokal dan global di Papua Selatan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan meliputi wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi. Wawancara dilakukan terhadap pimpinan universitas, dosen, dan mahasiswa untuk menggali pandangan tentang kebijakan dan dampaknya terhadap pendidikan. Observasi partisipatif mengamati langsung kegiatan akademik dan kebijakan yang diterapkan, sementara dokumentasi dianalisis untuk melihat hubungan antara kebijakan tertulis dan implementasinya di lapangan. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis tematik untuk mengidentifikasi tema-tema utama yang berkaitan dengan inovasi kepemimpinan, tantangan yang dihadapi, dan dampaknya terhadap kualitas pendidikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan akademik yang inovatif dan adaptif berperan penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan, meskipun terdapat tantangan terkait keterbatasan infrastruktur dan sumber daya. Universitas Musamus berupaya menghadapi tantangan tersebut melalui penguatan kemitraan eksternal dan pengembangan sumber daya manusia untuk menciptakan pendidikan yang relevan dengan kebutuhan global dan lokal.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional dan budaya akademik terhadap komitmen organisasi di Universitas Musamus serta bagaimana interaksi keduanya dapat meningkatkan kinerja universitas. Pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain survei digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data dari dosen, staf, dan mahasiswa melalui kuesioner. Variabel yang diteliti meliputi kepemimpinan transformasional (visi, inspirasi, pemberdayaan, perhatian individu), budaya akademik (nilai kolaborasi, inovasi, keterbukaan), dan komitmen organisasi (keterlibatan, loyalitas, kesetiaan). Data dianalisis menggunakan regresi berganda untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh masing-masing faktor dan interaksinya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional berperan strategis dalam memperkuat budaya akademik, menciptakan lingkungan yang kondusif untuk pengembangan sumber daya manusia, dan meningkatkan komitmen organisasi. Budaya akademik yang inklusif dan kolaboratif menjadi fondasi penting untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan, penelitian, dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Interaksi antara kepemimpinan transformasional dan budaya akademik menghasilkan sinergi yang signifikan dalam mencapai visi universitas.Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa kombinasi kepemimpinan transformasional dan budaya akademik yang kuat merupakan elemen kunci dalam membangun universitas yang kompetitif dan adaptif terhadap tantangan global. Pendekatan holistik yang mempertimbangkan faktor internal dan eksternal diperlukan untuk meningkatkan daya saing Universitas Musamus di tingkat nasional dan internasional

Abstract

Success in the student learning process cannot be separated from emotional intelligence and personality, that's why a study that aims to analyze the emotional intelligence and personality of PGSD students is carried out. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. The sample of this research is 100 students. The data collection method used is a questionnaire. The questionnaire used consists of 54 terminals that have been tested for validity. Data analysis in the study was carried out interactively with 3 techniques, namely data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results showed that emotional intelligence was in the good category, this was indicated by the results of research students answered that the condition of emotional intelligence was good. However, there are two statements that need to be considered, namely the dimension of being able to control anger better. As for the personality of PGSD students, it shows that students are more likely to approach extrovent personalities, students prefer to interact with other people rather than be alone, but there are still some students who prefer to be silent rather than answer questions or prefer to convey. results. discuss compared to what he did. This condition is supported by the results of observations made in class. Where some students show that they lack confidence in expressing their opinions in practice or in conveying the results of discussions.

Abstract

The Freedom to Learn the Independent Campus Policy (MBKM) is an Indonesian government initiative that aims to encourage innovation in higher education and give students freedom to choose courses, colleges and learning methods that suit their interests, talents and needs. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the MBKM policy at University, as well as explore the perspectives of students and lecturers regarding the implementation of the policy. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews and participatory observation. The respondents of this study consisted of 317 students who had participated in the MBKM program and 18 lecturers who were involved in implementing the policy. Data analysis was carried out through the coding stage and the themes that emerged from the interviews and data triangulation with observation. The results showed that the implementation of the MBKM policy at University had a significant impact on students and lecturers. From a student perspective, the MBKM policy gives them the freedom to choose courses, access learning resources, and participate in extracurricular activities according to their interests and talents. From the perspective of lecturers, the MBKM policy requires changes in teaching and mentoring approaches. Overall, the evaluation of the implementation of the MBKM policy at University shows significant benefits for students and lecturers. However, there are also challenges that need to be overcome, such as managing student time and adjusting lecturer teaching approaches.

Abstract

Rendahnya kualitas penulisan artikel ilmiah mahasiswa serta tuntutan penulisan artikel sebagai syaarat yudisium menuntut solusi yang terbaik untuk mengatasi maslah tersebut. Sehingga perlu dilakukan sebuah pengabdian yang bertujuan untuk mengingkatkan kemampuan menulis artikel mahasiswa melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan. Pengabdian ini dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mahasiswa PGSD Musamus untuk menulis artikel ilmiah. Jumlah peserta pengabdian ini sebanyak 30 orang, dimana mahasiswa ini adalah mahasiswa yang sudah selesai penelitian. Metode pengabdian yang dilakukan adalah pelatihan dengan teknik ceramah, diskusi dan praktik sedangkan pendampingan dilakukan dengan teknik klinik artikel mahasiswa. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa Pelatihan dan pendampingan berdampak positif terhadap  kemampuan mahasiswa dalam menyusun artikel ilmiah. Hal ini dapat dilihat peningkatan pengetahuan mahasiswa sebelum dan sesudah kegiatan serta hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah artikel mahasiswa yang siap untuk disubmid dijurnal untuk dipublish. Sehingga dapat direkomendasikan adalah kegiatan yang dilakukan ini bisa berlanjut dan dijadikan sebuah kegiatan rutin untuk meningkatkan kualitas tulisan mahasiswa.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to provide an overview of the strategies used by leaders in tertiary institutions, especially at the faculty level, in improving the quality of education. This research is a survey conducted to identify the views of each respondent in assessing the quality of education in tertiary institutions by looking at the strategies used by the leaders of the Respondents in this study, namely the academic community at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Musamus University. The measuring tool designed in the form of a questionnaire related to the seven categories in Malcolm Baldrige. The questionnaire created was an adaptation of the original MBCfPE Education Criteria application. Questions that were originally in the form of essays were changed to form of choice answers to make it easier for respondents to answer and direct them to the basic needs of each category. The results of the study show that the strategies used by leaders in improving the quality of education are carried out by establishing a clear vision and mission, building a solid team, and implementing an appropriate performance measurement system. Effective leadership in tertiary institutions must have a clear vision and mission to motivate staff and students, and direct universities to achieve long-term strategic goals.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how the implementation of Village Fund management in Kemiri Village, Makki District, Lanny Jaya Regency, to find out how productive economic business is in Kemiri Village, Makki District, Lanny Jaya Regency. And to find out whether the implementation of Dana Desa (DD) management in Kemiri Village can improve the community's economy. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Village Fund Management in Improving the Community Economy in Kemiri Village, Makki District, Lanny Jaya Regency in 2020 and analyze the obstacles that hinder the implementation of Village Fund Management in Improving the Community Economy in Kemiri Village in 2020. The author uses qualitative research methods with 10 key informants and data sources in the form of documents and researchers as research instruments to obtain data that meets the requirements in writing this scientific paper. The results of this study indicate that: a). Implementation of Village Fund Management in Improving the Community Economy in Kemiri Village, Lanny Jaya Regency in 2020, which includes indicators: Effectiveness, Efficiency, Adequacy, Equity, Responsiveness and Accuracy has been going well, although there are still people who are not satisfied with the implementation of the Village Fund program in improve the economy of the people in Kemiri Village in 2020. b). The obstacles to implementing Village Fund management in Improving the Community Economy in Kemiri Village, Makki District include: psychological constraints on the distribution of village funds that are not in accordance with technical guidelines/or lacking, the market field is difficult to predict for external markets, political constraints of the Regency Government, District Government, Government The village is not consistent in the funding ceiling available for serious realization in the village but there is budget politics, the village government's authority does not run optimally, practical political factors during the election are a measure of the distribution of village funds, resource constraints all SPJ (Surat Pertanggung Jawaban) is regulated by District Government because the Human Development Index in Kemiri Village is still low in special skills, there is no reality, this can be seen in the realization of the distribution budget for non-physical village funds, which is more than for physical development.

Abstract

Ethnopedagogy is the actualization of learning that is oriented to local wisdom values. The concrete embodiment of local wisdom values can be found in character education. The concept of ethnopedagogy is used in formal school learning, including SMPN 4 Singaraja. This study aimed to identify the role of ethnopedagogy based on Tri Hita Karana as character education at SMPN 4 Singaraja. This research was a descriptive qualitative type. The object of this study was the role of ethnopedagogy based on Tri Hita Karana as character education, while the subjects of this study were students of SMPN 4 Singaraja. The data were collected through observation, discussion, in-depth interviews, and involved participation. The data were analyzed with descriptive methods. Based on the analysis, student character can be formed from an exciting learning process and habits taught at school. Developing student character takes work, and many ways exist to create student character in a much better direction. Collaboration between teachers, students, parents, and the community is one of the keys to successfully forming student character. Tri Hita Karana’s ethnopedagogy in schools is the foundation for developing students’ character following the values of character education, namely the Parahyangan, which focuses on teaching religious values. Pawongan, moral character values, tolerance, democracy, respect for achievement, friendship, and social care. Palemahan, the importance of character education that teaches care for the environment.

Abstract

Ketahanan air menjadi tantangan global yang semakin kompleks akibat perubahan iklim dan pertumbuhan populasi. Studi ini mengkaji peran kearifan lokal dalam pengelolaan sumber daya air oleh komunitas adat di Merauke, Papua Selatan. Menggunakan metode studi kasus kualitatif dengan wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan analisis dokumen, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa praktik adat seperti ritual, zonasi wilayah, dan norma sosial secara efektif menjaga kelestarian sumber air. Struktur sosial komunitas, khususnya peran tokoh adat dan perempuan, berperan penting dalam menjaga tata kelola dan regenerasi pengetahuan. Namun, integrasi antara sistem adat dan kebijakan formal sering mengalami hambatan akibat pendekatan teknokratis yang dominan. Oleh karena itu, pengakuan hukum terhadap kearifan lokal dan kolaborasi antara pemerintah dan komunitas adat menjadi kunci untuk meningkatkan ketahanan air secara inklusif dan berkelanjutan. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi penting bagi pengembangan model pengelolaan air yang adaptif dan kontekstual di wilayah dengan keberagaman sosial budaya.

Abstract

Climate change and public policy dynamics pose significant challenges to water resources management, especially in marginal tropical areas such as Merauke Regency. This study examines adaptation strategies for community-based water resources management by integrating local wisdom, ecosystem approaches, and responsive and participatory policies. The research method uses a qualitative approach with data collection through in-depth interviews, field observations, and policy document analysis. The results show that effective adaptation requires synergy between stakeholders and strengthening of local institutions to increase socio-ecological resilience to climate change. The resulting strategy framework can be a model for sustainable and applicable adaptation in areas with similar geographic and social conditions. This study makes an important contribution to the development of responsive and inclusive climate change adaptation policies
