Abstract

Islamic Economic Thought during the Khulafaurrasyidin period. The method used is library research using several books as a source of writing. In the beginning, Islamic economics was practiced by Rasulullah SAW in trade activities and also in implementing the fiscal and monetary policies of the Islamic State. After Rasulullah SAW died, the leadership of the Islamic State and also the management of the economy were then continued by Khulafaurrasyidin. The economy during the time of Abu Bakar Ash Shidiq was colored by the rebellion of apostates who were not willing to pay zakat. During the time of Umar bin Khattab, the treasures of the baitul mal were left for reserve funds. At the end of Uthman bin Affan's reign, there was political turmoil due to allegations of corrupt officials. In the era of Ali bin Abi Talib, the Islamic State minted coins on behalf of the Islamic State.

Abstract

A budget deficit is a condition where government expenditure exceeds its income. This can have an impact on various aspects of the economy, both positive and negative. This research aims to analyze the impact of the budget deficit on the economy in Indonesia using the literature study method. Collecting data and information utilizing various sources from reference books, similar previous research results, as well as various journals relating to the problem to be solved. The data analysis technique used is qualitative descriptive analysis. The research results show that a budget deficit can have both positive and negative impacts on the economy in Indonesia. The positive impacts of a budget deficit include: Increasing economic growth, increasing employment opportunities, improving community welfare. However, a budget deficit can also have a negative impact on the economy in Indonesia, including: Increasing inflation, increasing the government debt burden, decreasing the rupiah exchange rate. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the budget deficit has a complex impact on the economy in Indonesia. The government needs to manage the budget deficit carefully and responsibly in order to maximize the positive impact and minimize the negative impact.

Abstract

This research was conducted at Ajb Bumiputera 1912 Syariah Medan Branch. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative using primary data, namely field research, using document study tools, interviews and observations. the last step of the research is data analysis. The purpose of this research is to explain the factors considered in the process of selecting prospective customers by looking at the contribution of age, gender, work and hobbies, while for the company's strategy to increase sharia life insurance participants it is necessary to prepare human resources life skills in the world of insurance marketing, and the methods used to classify all the factors considered by the company's Underwriters, namely the four methods of Manual underwriting, Experience Underwriting, Blended Underwriting, and Forcasting.

Abstract

Konflik di Sudan memiliki dampak kompleks terutama pada sektor ekonomi di negara tersebut dan juga berdampak secara global. Mahasiswa Indonesia yang belajar di Sudan mungkin menghadapi tantangan tambahan akibat situasi konflik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif yang menggunakan metode studi kepustakaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi dampak konflik Sudan terhadap perekonomian lokal dan mahasiswa Indonesia yang belajar di sana. Dengan menggunakan metode studi kepustakaan, penelitian ini menyoroti penurunan signifikan dalam inflasi tahunan Sudan pada tahun 2022, dipicu oleh kekurangan pasokan dan faktor impor. LPT PBNU memberikan opsi studi di dalam negeri sebagai alternatif yang lebih efisien untuk menghindari konflik. Temuan ini memberikan wawasan penting tentang situasi ekonomi dan pendidikan di Sudan akibat konflik.

Abstract

The level of customer satisfaction with logistics goods provider services, especially PT Kereta Api (Persero) Medan Labuhan, is the main focus in this analysis. Through a survey of 35 respondents using local and long-distance train services, six main aspects of service were evaluated: ticket sales service, arrival time, cabin cleanliness, security, air circulation, and arrival time at destination. The results illustrate that despite improvements in some aspects, such as arrival times and safety, additional areas, including cabin cleanliness and air circulation, still have plenty of space for further development. According to these results, if we want to make train travel better for everyone, we need to pay close attention to these elements.

Abstract

The reason for this study was to decide the effect of Coronavirus on stock exchange volume and stock costs. The object of this exploration is a gathering of transportation organizations recorded on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2020. The populace in this study is 42 transportation organizations. What's more, the example utilized is upwards of 20 organizations. This study utilizes optional information. Abstract

Cryptocurrency is a growing fintech trend frequently encountered in various moderneconomic activities. Therefore, this research aimed to provide knowledge and understanding of cryptocurrency, particularly from the perspective of Islamic finance and economics using secondary data obtained from literature. As a digital financial transaction system, cryptocurrency fundamentally uses relatively new technology. However, the legal nature still needs further examination without constituting a form of violation. In Indonesia, the government has yet to adopt a definitive stance on the presence of cryptocurrency, thereby permitting its usage. The results showed that cryptocurrency investment includes substantially greater risk compared to others due to the inherent challenge of predicting the value. From the perspective of Islamic finance and economics, the transactions are considered to lack clarity in terms of quality and quantity, containing elements of uncertainty (gharar). Moreover, the concept of Bitcoin as a transaction tool is forbidden (haram) by the Indonesian Ulama Council since the project contains uncertainty and does not comply with the existing regulations. The implications of the research emphasize the necessity ofavoiding dubious activities, such as cryptocurrency, as well as transactions leading to higher harm (madharat) compared to benefits, particularly from the perspective of Islamic finance and economics.

Abstract

This study aims to find out what are the economic potentials of Plasma plantations and the level of community welfare in Kungan Tompek Village. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach, the data used are primary and secondary data. Data collection is done by interview, observation and documentation. And the research data was analyzed using analytical techniques consisting of data reduction, data display and verification. The results of this study are that there are three economic potentials of plasma plantations: Increasing income, Creating jobs, and Reducing unemployment. The economic potential of plasma plantations has been able to improve the welfare of the members of the plasma plantation community. Except for one informant whose welfare has not increased, that can be seen from the informant's inability to fulfill one of the five criteria for community welfare and also has not been able to improve the welfare of his community when viewed from the criteria for guarding religion and protecting the soul. Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the reasons behind the rejection of claims at PT Asuransi General Bumiputra Muda Medan Branch. The analytical method used is a qualitative descriptive technique that uses interviews to collect data on ten informants who work at PT Asuransi General Bumiputra Muda Medan Branch. Based on research findings, the causes of lost claims at PT Asuransi Jenderal Bumiputra Muda Medan Branch include incomplete documentation, inaccurate information in insurance claims, police investigations, delays in processing claims, and handling errors. The implications of this research include that PT Asuransi General Bumiputra Muda Medan Branch must improve communication with customers regarding the insurance claims process and strengthen internal processes to prevent fraud.

Abstract

To determine the effect of natural resource potential (SDA) in improving economic development. To determine the influence of potential Human Resources (HR) on economic development. To determine the effect of the potential of Natural Resources (SDA) and Human Resources (HR) together on economic development in Medan. The research design is quantitative associative research. The type of Data in this study is quantitative data. Data analysis techniques in this study is descriptive analysis using software applications SPSS (statistical Product and Service Solution). Based on the results of the study the independent variable of Natural Resources (X1) has a positive and significant effect on economic development in Medan, the independent variable of human resources (X2) has a positive and significant effect on economic development in Medan, based on the results of the F test conducted, it is known that natural resources, human resources together or simultaneously have a significant effect on economic development in Medan.
