Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology, globalization, and the increasing intensity of business competition in recent years have made internal environment analysis an increasingly crucial aspect in determining an organization’s competitive advantage. This article aims to comprehensively synthesize the concepts and applications of internal environment analysis, including resources and capabilities, value chain analysis, core competencies, and SWOT analysis in the context of modern business. The method used is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) by examining 30 scientific articles obtained from Google Scholar, SINTA, and accredited journals within the 2021–2026 period. The selection process was carried out through stages of screening titles, abstracts, and full texts based on predetermined inclusion criteria. The synthesis results indicate a shift from partial internal analysis approaches toward more integrative approaches, where organizational success is determined by the ability to manage resources, optimize the value chain, and develop core competencies that are adaptive to external environmental changes. In addition, SWOT analysis remains a dominant tool; however, it tends to be static and requires data-driven development. This article concludes that the integration of traditional approaches with the utilization of digital technology is key to enhancing the effectiveness of internal environment analysis in the modern business era.

Abstract

The increasing dynamics of the business environment driven by globalization, digitalization, and economic uncertainty have intensified the complexity of strategy implementation within organizations. The high rate of implementation failure indicates a significant gap between strategic planning and execution. This study aims to analyze and synthesize the key factors influencing strategy implementation through the integration of organizational structure, strategic leadership, organizational culture, resource allocation, and management control systems. This research employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method using data sourced from Google Scholar, SINTA-indexed journals, and other accredited publications within the 2020–2025 period, with a total of 25 selected articles analyzed using thematic synthesis. The findings reveal that successful strategy implementation is not determined by a single variable but by the synergy among organizational elements, where strategic leadership and organizational culture act as primary drivers, while organizational structure and management control systems function as operational enablers. Furthermore, appropriate resource allocation strengthens the overall effectiveness of strategy implementation. These findings indicate that an integrative and system-based approach is essential for enhancing the success of strategy implementation in modern organizations.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the imbalance in the distribution and workload of educators in private schools, reflecting a fundamental problem in the supply of teacher labor. Such disparities potentially affect the quality of educational services and the effectiveness of the learning process. Therefore, this study aims to examine the influence of financial compensation (honorarium) and professional factors (career development opportunities) on teachers' labor supply, particularly in the allocation of teaching hours among private senior high school teachers in Jambi City. This research employs a quantitative approach with an associative explanatory design. Data were collected by distributing Likert-scale questionnaires to 94 respondents selected using proportional random sampling. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression after satisfying the assumptions of classical test statistics. The results indicate that honorarium partially has a positive and significant effect on teacher labor supply (t = 6.489; p = 0.001). Similarly, career development opportunities demonstrate a strong, positive, and significant effect (t = 5.189; p = 0.001). Simultaneously, these two variables account for 62.4% of the variance in teacher labor supply decisions (R² = 0.624). The implications of this study suggest that while adequate financial compensation serves as a fundamental economic basis, the availability of career development opportunities acts as a crucial motivational driver and retention factor. Therefore, an integrated policy combining fair compensation and clear career pathways is highly recommended to ensure the stability and sustainability of the teaching workforce in private schools

Abstract

Changes in the organizational environment driven by digital transformation, globalization, and increasing competition require organizations to develop adaptive and integrated strategy evaluation and control systems. However, studies integrating strategic performance measurement, the Balanced Scorecard, strategic feedback systems, and change management into a single strategic evaluation framework remain limited. This article aims to synthesize the development of research related to these four approaches through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) of 31 scientific articles published between 2019 and 2026, obtained from Google Scholar, Sinta, and accredited national journals. The findings indicate that the Balanced Scorecard is the dominant framework for strategic performance measurement because it integrates financial and non-financial indicators. Strategic feedback systems play an important role in enhancing organizational learning and supporting continuous strategic adjustment, while change management is a key factor in improving organizational adaptability to environmental dynamics and digital transformation. The novelty of this study lies in its integrative conceptual synthesis that connects the four approaches within a unified framework of organizational strategy evaluation and control. These findings provide practical implications for organizations in developing more responsive and sustainable strategic control systems and offer opportunities for future empirical research development.

Abstract

Digital transformation has shifted the paradigm of strategic management from a conventional approach to one that is more adaptive, innovative, and technology-based, particularly in the context of entrepreneurship and MSME development. This article aims to analyze the development of strategic management studies based on digital transformation and entrepreneurship, as well as to identify trends, key findings, and research gaps that remain open. The research uses a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, examining 25 scholarly articles sourced from Google Scholar and SINTA within the 2020-2025 timeframe. The selection process was based on inclusion and exclusion criteria that emphasize topic relevance, publication timeliness, and the quality of peer-reviewed journals. The synthesis results show that digital transformation plays a significant role in improving operational efficiency, expanding market reach, strengthening innovation, and creating sustainable competitive advantages. Key factors influencing successful strategy implementation include digital capabilities, strategic innovation, organizational culture, regulatory support, and the readiness of infrastructure and human resources. However, most studies are still conceptual and lack strong empirical testing. This article concludes that the success of strategic management in the digital era heavily depends on an organization’s ability to integrate technology, innovation, and sustainability holistically to respond to increasingly complex business environment dynamics.

Abstract

Technological fluctuations and changes in government policies have created significant challenges for organizations in formulating relevant and adaptive strategies, particularly regarding vision, mission, and strategic goals. This article aims to examine how these three elements should be adapted to continuously evolving external factors, such as technological advancements and government policies. Using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, this study analyzed 25 selected articles obtained from the Google Scholar and Emerald Insight databases. The findings reveal that organizations that successfully integrate external factors into their vision, mission, and strategic goals tend to be more effective in formulating responsive and flexible strategies. The study also highlights the importance of developing more dynamic strategic formulations, especially in addressing digital transformation and uncertainties in government policies. The main findings of this review indicate that organizations must pay greater attention to external factors in their strategic planning in order to survive and grow in an increasingly complex environment.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of wage level and school quality on labour demand in the education sector. The population in this study were 25 private high schools in Jambi City. This research is quantitative research with a survey method. Data collection techniques used dapodik data and questionnaires that went directly to schools. The data was analysed using multiple regression statistical techniques. The analysis shows that the wage level variable does not affect the demand for education sector labour. The higher the wage level, the more the company reduces the demand for education sector labour. School quality variable has a positive effect on labour demand. The better the quality of the school, the school will increase the demand for education sector labour. Simultaneously, wage level and school quality have a positive effect on labour demand. The higher the wage level and the better the school quality, the higher the labour demand in the education sector. The resulting regression model has a statistical ability of 36.9% in predicting the effect of wage level and school quality on education sector labour demand. Based on this finding, the demand for labour must be by the needs and expected output.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the income potential of rubber farming in financing higher education at Jambi University. The research employs a descriptive quantitative approach, with data collection techniques including primary data and questionnaires distributed directly to rubber farmers. The sample consists of 51 farmers. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis, which aims to provide a detailed overview of the research object. This analysis includes calculations of the mean (M), median (Me), mode (Mo), and standard deviation (SD). Additionally, frequency distribution analysis is applied to identify data distribution patterns by grouping data into specific interval classes. The research findings indicate that the income potential (PP) of rubber farming is 1.07%, showing that PP > 1. Similarly, the income potential (PP) of non-rubber farming is 1.31%, also showing PP > 1. Therefore, the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted, meaning that the income allocated for education is greater than the required costs.

Abstract

Unlike previous studies that generally focus on the labor market in general, this study specifically examines the supply of teacher labor in private schools by emphasizing the interaction between experience and the work environment. This study aims to analyze the influence of work experience and the work environment on the supply of private high school teachers in Jambi City. Using a quantitative approach with an ex post facto design, data were collected through questionnaires from 94 respondents and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results show that experience and the work environment simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on labor supply, with an ability to explain 42.2% of the data variation (R2 = 0.422). Partially, the work environment is proven to have a much stronger influence (coefficient = 2.816) compared to work experience (coefficient = 0.100), making it the most dominant determinant. This finding has important implications for private school management: amidst limited financial structures, creating a supportive and collaborative work climate is the most crucial non-monetary strategy to increase dedication and maintain the supply of quality educators.
