Abstract

This quantitative research aims to analyze the influence of Government Expenditure in the Education Sector, Health Sector, and Minimum Wage (UM) on Poverty in five districts with the highest poverty rates in South Sulawesi Province (Pangkep, Jeneponto, Luwu, North Luwu, and Enrekang), utilizing annual panel data spanning the 2015 to 2024 period. Through a series of model tests, the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) estimated using the Least Square Dummy Variable (LSDV) approach was determined as the best method. The estimation results show that simultaneously, the three independent variables significantly affect poverty, with the model's explanatory power (Adjusted R-Squared) reaching 77.4%. However, the partial results (t-test) reveal that only the Minimum Wage variable has a negative and significant influence in reducing poverty (Prob. 0.0079). Conversely, although Government Expenditure in the Education Sector has a positive coefficient (Prob. 0.9123) and the Health Sector has a negative coefficient (Prob. 0.4973), both are not statistically significant in influencing poverty reduction. This study concludes that policy intervention through setting adequate wages is the most effective tool in poverty alleviation efforts in the research area, while the effectiveness of public spending in the education and health sectors requires further review to ensure its long-term impact.

Abstract

Indonesia experiences demographic change because of basically the result of successful policies in the past. Especially in the health sector where in the era of Orde Baru[1] the family planning program was successfully implemented. Productive age over non productive age are the two main variables in addition to some other variables that are also shaping demographic change. This study highlighted the demographic changes, particularly with the increasing burden of government dependents in the allocation of education, health, and social security. This study attempted to see the effect of demographic change on government fiscal using the Error Correction Model. The choice of this model was because ECM could be used to see the short-run dynamic relationship of variables that have cointegration relationship. The results showed that there are cointegration so that it could be continued by estimating using ECM and the results show that demographic change have an influence on government fiscal where proxies used such as mortality, birth rate, life expectancy have significant effect while productive and non-productive age have no significant effects. [1] Orde Baru is Period when Soeharto occupied as The 2nd President of Indonesia

Abstract

The rapid advancement of Generative AI and Text-to-Image Generators has introduced a paradigm shift in art production, challenging traditional notions of creativity and authorship. This study aims to examine the “artistic experience” of creators in the process of producing visual works using the Midjourney platform, specifically within the context of urban photography (portrait, street, and landscape). Employing a qualitative descriptive method, this research utilizes Terry Barrett’s theory of photography criticism as a methodological bridge to translate visual elements such as Subject, Form, Medium, and Style into precise linguistic prompts. The findings reveal that while Midjourney can successfully reconstruct the “image logic” of a scene based on text, it introduces a significant “aesthetic deviation.” Comparative analysis shows that AI- generated images tend to be hyper-realistic, displaying “more mature” color tones and a cinematic polish that often removes the raw, authentic grit found in human-captured urban photography. Furthermore, the study identifies a “framing effect,” where direct comparison paradoxically heightens the appreciation for human creativity. The research concludes that the integration of AI into the creative process does not eliminate the artist but fundamentally shifts their role from a technical operator of visual machinery to a linguistic architect. In the urban creative ecosystem, this implies a new form of literacy where the ability to articulate visual concepts textually becomes as crucial as the ability to capture light, democratizing artistic creation for urban society while raising new questions about the ontology of authenticity.

Abstract

Hypertension emergency is defined as a severe increase in blood pressure that is > 180/120 mmHg and there is evidence of worsening or target organ damage. The heart, brain and kidneys are the intended target. In this situation, immediate action to reduce blood pressure is needed within minutes. Risk factors that need to be considered in hypertensive crisis patients are those who are not diagnosed or do not adhere to treatment. Handling this can be done by adhering to medication and diligently taking medications that have been recommended by the doctor.
