The abstract nature of mathematics concepts and limited class time are key factors contributing to low conceptual mathematics learning outcomes. This issue is evident among eleventh-grade students at SMA Negeri 4 Singaraja, who have difficulties in learning abstract topics such as trigonometry. This study investigates the effect of implementing Mobile Seamless Inquiry Media (MoSIM), a digital learning strategy designed to support Inquiry-Based Learning (IBL) anytime and anywhere, on students’ conceptual mathematics learning outcomes. A quasi-experimental pretest-posttest non-equivalent control group design was employed, involving 185 eleventh-grade students selected from a population of 301 students at SMA Negeri 4 Singaraja using cluster random sampling. Conceptual learning outcomes were measured using a validated multiple-choice test and analysed through one-way ANCOVA. The results revealed a statistically significant difference between students taught using the MoSIM strategy and those taught using conventional strategies (F = 5.84, p = 0.01). Students who learned through MoSIM achieved higher adjusted post-test scores (M = 80.03; SE = 1.03) compared to those who learned through conventional strategies (M = 76.57; SE = 0.99). These findings recommend the integration of MoSIM into digital era learning environments to enhance students’ conceptual mathematics learning outcomes, especially in complex and abstract topics like trigonometry.

This study was motivated by the low mathematical problem-solving ability of junior high school students, particularly in the topic of plane geometry. One contributing factor is student’s limited capacity to represent problems visually. The purpose of this research was to examine the effect of including pictorial illustrations in plane geometry problems on student’s mathematical problem-solving ability. The research employed a quasi-experimental method with a posttest-only control group design. The population consisted of 344 ninth-grade students of SMP Negeri 4 Singaraja, with the sample determined through cluster random sampling. Two classes were selected, namely class IX Cempaka (Group A) with 37 students and class IX Melati (Group B) with 34 students. Group A was given plane geometry problems with illustrations, while Group B received similar problems without illustrations. The main instrument used was an essay test, supported by a questionnaire as an additional instrument. The results showed that the average posttest score of Group A was 43.73, while Group B obtained 29.71. The independent samples t-test at a significance level of 0.05 produced a p-value of 0.000 (< 0.05), indicating a significant difference in problem-solving ability between the two groups. Furthermore, the effect size calculated using Cohen’s d was 1.99, categorized as a very high effect. This finding demonstrates that the inclusion of pictorial illustrations exerts a strong and meaningful influence on student’s mathematical problem-solving ability. It can be concluded that the absence of illustrations in plane geometry problems increases the level of difficulty students experience in solving them.

This work supported Indonesia's research focus area on information and communication technology (ICT) content improvement for information data on various forms of local wisdom. As one of the various forms of local wisdom, the Balinese script was supported by the ToLatin application that transliterates Balinese script into Latin text. It has been used to support Balinese script learning at the high school level in Buleleng Regency, Bali, Indonesia. To determine the acceptability of this application, which had not been studied before, a user acceptance evaluation was conducted using a combination of acceptance variables from the technology acceptance model (TAM) and success variables from DeLone & McLean. This study used a quantitative method with data collection through questionnaires from 385 respondents. The data analysis used the importance-performance analysis (IPA) method through suitability, gap, and quadrant analyses. The study results indicated that the acceptability of ToLatin could be more optimal. The suitability analysis revealed an average score of 87.91%, indicating the need for improvement in system quality, particularly the innovative indicator (SysQ3), based on the quadrant analysis. The gap analysis revealed an average score of -0.54 from 7 acceptance variables, indicating the need to improve system performance to meet user expectations.

Pengaruh Integrasi Media GeoGebra terhadap Pemahaman Konsep Geometri Ditinjau dari Kemampuan Spasial Siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh integrasi media GeoGebra terhadap pemahaman konsep geometri ditinjau dari kemampuan spasial siswa. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP SANTU Stanislaus Borong sebanyak 113 siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperiemn semu dengan desain penelitian menggunakan factorial design dengan desain treatment by level yang melibatkan sampel sebanyak 60 orang. Pemilihan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik simple random sampling. Dalam penelitian ini data yang diperlukan adalah data tentang kemampuan spasial dan pemahaman konsep geometri siswa. Data kemampuan spasial siswa diperoleh melalaui tes kemampuan spasial dan data pemahaman konsep matematika diperoleh melalui tes pemahaman konsep geometry siswa. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif dan untuk pegujian hipotesis digunakan analisis varians (ANAVA) dua jalur melalui uji F. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukan bahwa: 1) Pemahaman konsep geometri siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran berbantuan media GeoGebralebih lebih baik dari pemahaman konsep geometri siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional. 2) Tidak terdapat interaksi antara pembelajaran berbantuan media GeoGebra dan kemampuan spasial siswa terhadap pemahaman konsep geometri siswa.

English for Mathematics (EFM) is one of the important courses to prepare the prospective mathematics teacher in teaching mathematics using English as language of instruction. Besides that, EFM also enable the students in mathematics education department to employ more references as learning sources. Reflected to the important of students’ ability in EFM, we plan to develop the textbook related to the course. The whole study will use the method of Research & Development with three steps of Preliminary Research, Prototyping Stage dan Assessment Phase. The present study was focused on the first stage to analysis the needs of the textbook development. The subjects were 27 students of second year mathematics education study program in a state university in Nusa Tenggara Barat, Indonesia. The subjects were experienced the course of EFM in previous year. The data were gathered from students’ written work and interview with students and lecturers of EFM. We analyzed the data using quantitative descriptive method to evaluate the students’ mastery in EFM. From the analysis, it was found that the students’ score were lacking in mathematical terms and spoken language of mathematical symbols. The interview with the lecturers also confirmed that the learning sources in EFM is still limited. Therefore, to support the students in learning EFM better, the textbook is highly needed.

Paper ini mendeskripsikan penurunan model diskrit dari model kontinu jaringan saraf dengan tundaan bergantung waktu. Diskritisasi dilakukan dengan aproksimasi model kontinu oleh persamaan diferensial biasa dengan piecewise constant argument (PCA). Dengan menerapkan skema semi implisit Euler, dari persamaan dengan PCA ini diturunkan model diskrit untuk model kontinu jaringan saraf dengan tundaan bergantung waktu. Melalui simulasi numerik ditunjukkan bahwa model diskrit secara dinamik ekivalen dengan model kontinu.

Kurangnya inovasi dalam pembelajaran dan ketergantungan siswa dengan android menyebabkan rendahnya minat belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran interaktif yang valid, praktis, dan efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswa kelas IV SD. Adapun model yang digunakan adalah ADDIE. Media pembelajaran interaktif ini telah melalui beberapa tahap pengujian, meliputi uji validitas isi, uji kepraktisan dan uji efektivitas. Subjek uji coba adalah sepuluh guru sebagai praktisi dan 30 siswa sebagai pemakai. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis android bermuatan materi bentang alam pada mata pelajaran IPAS memperoleh kategori sangat valid dan praktis, dan hasil perhitungan effect size memperoleh nilai sebesar 1,040 yang berarti media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis android efektif dalam meningkatkan minat belajar siswa. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis android terbukti valid, praktis, dan efektif dalam meningkatkan minat belajar siswa. Guru dapat menggunakan media ini sebagai sarana menyampaikan materi untuk siswa guna meningkatkan minat belajarnya.

The improvement in students’ problem-solving ability and mathematical disposition is a highlight, especially in geometry transformation materials. This is because the learning model still uses conventional methods that emphasize students following and waiting for the direction of the teacher. This study aimed to analyze the effectiveness of problem-based learning models oriented toward open mathematical problems on the problem-solving ability and mathematical disposition of students in SMA Negeri 1 Susut. A pseudoexperimental study with a posttest-only control group design was conducted by comparing the provision of PBL and conventional learning models. The instruments used are tests and questionnaires. There are 5 items and 25 statements that meet the criteria of very high reliability. Data collection techniques in this study used test and questionnaire methods. The sample consisted of 60 students, 30 each as a control and an experiment. Data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed using MANOVA (p<0.05). The results indicate that the application of PBL models oriented towards open mathematical problems is significantly more effective than conventional learning models in improving students' problem-solving abilities and mathematical dispositions both partially and simultaneously. The application of this learning model has led to an increase in perseverance, interest, and curiosity, which are essential for problem-solving with teachers as facilitators

The development of information technology has given birth to many new innovations, such as the e-Surat application which can help the administrative process of electronic service manuscripts at the OPD (Regional Apparatus Organization) in Tabanan Regency. The implementation of the e-Surat application on OPD in Tabanan Regency is still not optimal, there are factors that affect the implementation of the e-Surat application on OPD in Tabanan Regency. The model or method that is considered appropriate for analyzing and understanding the factors that can affect the implementation of the e-Surat application on OPD in Tabanan Regency is the TOE framework that will analyze the implementation of the e-Surat application on OPD in Tabanan Regency in terms of technology, organization and environment aspects. Data analysis techniques use multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the data analysis show that: (1) technological variables have a positive and significant effect on the implementation of e-Surat applications in OPD in Tabanan Regency, (2) organizational variables have a positive and significant effect on the implementation of e-Surat applications in OPD in Tabanan Regency and (3) environmental variables have a positive and significant effect on the implementation of e-Surat applications in OPD in Tabanan Regency.

The Klungkung Regency Land Office (Kantah Klungkung) is responsible for fifteen (15) main activities and focuses on tasks related to land services. There are only 23 Functional Officials out of the 127 people needed based on agency workload analysis. Apart from that, data from each section cannot be utilized properly because the system is not yet integrated. As a result, to ensure sustainable IS/IT growth in Kantah Klungkung and support the implementation of the Integrity Zone, a strategic plan for information systems is needed. This study chose Ward and Peppard's framework because they have adequate tools, are flexible, and can be used with existing business process strategic plans. Through the IFAS and EFAS questionnaires, four components of SWOT analysis were found. According to the results of internal SWOT analysis and external analysis of the business environment with Value Chain. As a result, with a SWOT quadrant score on the x-axis of 0.76 and the y-axis of 0.61, the company has the ability to maximize existing strengths and opportunities. This research produces a map of application requirements, recommendations for infrastructure improvements, and the number of workers needed by IS/IT managers over five years.
