Abstract

Gel adalah sistem dispersi semipadat yang terdiri dari molekul kecil atau besar dalam pembawa air yang memberikan jellylike dengan penambahan dari gelling agent. Jeruk purut memiliki banyak manfaat diantaranya adalah air perasan daging buah jeruk purut dapat digunakan sebagai obat batuk, obat kulit, dan antiseptik. Selain itu buah jeruk purut digunakan untuk menghilangkan bau amis pada ikan, pengharum tepung tawar, dan pencuci rambut. Minyak atsiri kulit jeruk purut memiliki bobot jenis 0,8766 g/cm3 , indeks bias 1,4730, angka asam 0,8275, dan kadar minyak 2,13%. Jeruk purut memiliki kandungan vitamin C yang sangat tinggi. Vitamin C dalam tubuh berfungsi untuk meningkatkan imunitas tubuh. Hal ini disebabkan vitamin C dapat memengaruhi produksi sel darah putih dalam tubuh yang bisa membantu tubuh melawan infeksi bakteri dan virus

Abstract

Kosmetik saat ini sudah menjadi kebutuhan penting bagi manusia. Kosmetik tidak hanya digunakan untuk fungsi estetika, akan tetapi berperan dalam penyembuhan dan perawatan kulit. Salah satu manfaat kosmetik yaitu untuk melembabkan kulit (moisturizer), contohnya seperti krim malam, krim anti kerut, dan krim pelembab. Daun sawo mengandung beberapa senyawa kimia diantaranya adalah senyawa flavonoid sebagai antioksidan selain itu juga dapat melembabkan kulit. Tujuan sosialisasi ini untuk memberikan pemanfaatan Daun sawo sebagai pelembab kulit wajah. Hasil pelaksaan ini pada masyrakat dalam bentuk informasi dan edukasi pemanfaatan daun Daun sawo sebagai pelembab kulit wajah. Setelah melaksakan kegiatan pelatihan ini, masyarakat lebih mengetahui bahwa Daun sawo yang selama ini hanya dijadikan sebagai tanaman liar ternyata sangat bagus buat kecantikan salah satunya sebagai antibakteri .

Abstract

Hand Sanitizer merupakan pembersih tangan yang praktis tanpa air dan sabun dengan kemampuan antibakteri dalam menghambat maupun membunuh bakteri. selain itu Penggunaan hand sanitizer sangat praktis sehingga menjadi kebutuhan Pokok khususnya ketika yang tidak ada tempat atau kesempatan mencuci tangan dengan air dan sabun, misalnya saat bepergian. Hand Sanitizer Merupakan antiseptic pembersih tangan yang digunakan sebagai alternatif pengganti sabun Penggunaan hand sanitizer berbahan antiseptik alkohol memiliki efek samping yaitu dapat melarutkan lapisan lemak dan sebum pada kulit, dimana lapisan tersebut berfungsi sebagai pelindung terhadap infeksi kuman, alcohol mudah terbakar dan pada pemakaian berulang menyebabkan kekeringan dan iritasi pada kulit. sereh bermanfaat sebagai anti radang, menghilangkan rasa sakit dan melancarkan sirkulasi darah.Manfaat lain yaitu untuk meredakan sakit kepala, otot, batuk, nyeri lambung, haid tidak teratur dan bengkak setelah melahirkan. Akar tanaman sereh digunakan sebagai peluruh air seni, peluruh keringat, peluruh dahak, bahan untuk kumur, dan penghangat badan. Sedangkan minyak sereh banyak digunakan sebagai bahan pewangi sabun, spray, disinfektan, dan bahan pengkilap. Jeruk lemon merupakan salah satu buah yang kaya akan vitamin C serta kandungan antioksidan yang bermanfaat bagi tubuh manusia. Jeruk lemon mengandung 3,7% asam sitrat dan vitamin C 40-50 mg / 100 g . Walaupun memiliki banyak manfaat bagi tubuh, lemon mengandung asam sitrat dengan pH rendah yaitu 2,74 , makanan / minuman.

Abstract

Early detection of non-communicable diseases (PTM) such as hypertension, diabetes mellitus and joints is needed as a preventive measure. The government through Government Regulation Number 2 of 2018, Minister of Home Affairs Regulation Number 100 of 2018, and Minister of Health Regulation Number 4 of 2019 has determined that efforts to control diabetes mellitus are one of the minimum services that must be carried out by regional governments. Activities carried out are health checks which include checking blood pressure, checking blood sugar, and uric acid. The activity was attended by the community in the Tiga Panah GBKP environment. Examination results showed that there were 38.5% of the population with normal blood pressure. 53.8% of the population with normal blood sugar levels and 38.5% of the population with normal uric acid levels. This health examination is the first step for early detection of non-communicable diseases (PTM) so that later it can be continued for routine checks at local health service facilities.

Abstract

Blood donation activities are carried out to maintain the stability of the blood stock of the Karo Regency PMI. Blood donation activities are carried out on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 starting at 09.00 WIB at the Kabanjahe Pratama KPP. The blood donation service activity was attended by a total of 14 participants. From the results of the implementation of the activity, 13 blood bags have been collected. Based on interviews with the participants, their motivation to donate blood is because of a sense of humanity for people in need, to maintain their health, invitations from friends, and some are interested because of the gifts offered at the end of the event. The implementation of this blood donation activity as a form of community service has been carried out well and has received a good response from the participants. Socialization is also needed so that the number of blood donors increases and more people are willing to become blood donors.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a chronic disease characterized by high levels of sugar in the body, but which cannot be utilized properly by the body. This disease is also starting to spread to rural areas and can endanger the health of village communities, including Sei Belutu Village. The aim of this community service is to provide an understanding of the importance of prevention and complications of Diabetes Mellitus through education. The methods used in this community service include checking blood sugar levels and providing education to 30 elderly people in Sei Belutu village, Medan Sunggal District. The educational material consists of the definition, causes and risk factors, symptoms, various types, disease process, prevention and management of diabetes mellitus. Education is provided through lectures. Participants' knowledge was assessed using a written test before and after the education session. The results of the analysis showed that the level of knowledge of the community in Sei Belutu village before being given education was 17 people had poor knowledge and 13 people had good knowledge. After education, knowledge increased to good for 20 people, while 10 people still had poor knowledge about Diabetes Mellitus. Evaluation shows participants' activeness during educational activities. The conclusion from this community service is that education is able to increase knowledge about Diabetes Mellitus. It is recommended that education about Diabetes Mellitus be started early in productive age as a preventive measure before complications occur

Based on interviews with the participants, their motivation for donating blood was due to a sense of humanity for people in need, to maintain their own health, invitations from friends, and some were interested because of the gifts offered at the end of the event. More outreach is needed so that the number of blood donors increases and more people are willing to become blood donors.

Abstract

The Regional Government of Asahan Regency has a Healthy Asahan Program committed to creating conditions in Asahan Regency that are clean, comfortable, safe and healthy for residents to live in, which is achieved through the existence of hospitals that are able to provide services according to standards. The ratio of beds to population in Asahan Regency in 2022 is 1.03. The aim of the research is to see future hospital market opportunities in an effort to help the Asahan Sehat Regional Government's Healthy Program of Asahan Regency. We used a convergent parallel mixed methods design, in which qualitative and quantitative data were collected simultaneously. This research was conducted from April 2023 to July 2023. Research data was collected from 5 hospitals in Asahan Regency (H.Abdul Manan Simatupang Hospital, Ibu Kartini Hospital, Bunda Mulia Hospital, Permata Hati Hospital, and Seger Waras Hospital), Central Bureau of Statistics and the Asahan District Health Service. Data was analyzed using SWOT and the hospital's position was determined using SWOT scoring. The SWOT analysis shows that the existence of the new hospital in Asahan Regency is in Quadrant II, meaning that the future hospital has the opportunity to develop in Asahan Regency by minimizing weaknesses. Aspects of hospital location, service/market needs, infrastructure and competitive aspects must be the main focus.

Abstract

Motivation is important because motivation is something that causes, distributes and supports human behavior so that they want to work hard and enthusiastically to achieve optimal results. This study aims to determine the relationship between work motivation and nurse performance. The type of research used is Quantitative Research using a Cross-Sectional approach. Samples were taken as many as 87 nurses at Panyabungan Hospital. Data analysis used the Chi-square test at a significance level of α <0.05. There is a relationship between work motivation and nurse job satisfaction. is expected to increase positive attention to the assessment of work performance, increase self-motivation to achieve the achievements achieved..
