Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap potensi number sense siswa pada tingkat kemampuan kelompok atas, kelompok menengah, dan kelompok bawah dalam menyelesikan soal penjumlahan dan pengurangan pada matriks di kelas X SMA Santun Untan Pontianak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian studi kasus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 9 siswa. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan potensi number sense siswa pada tingkat kemampuan kelompok atas dalam menyelesaikan soal penjumlahan dan pengurangan pada matriks memiliki potensi number sense yang sangat dominan, yaitu number meaning dan number operations; potensi number sense siswa pada tingkat kemampuan kelompok menengah dalam menyelesaikan soal penjumlahan dan pengurangan pada matriks memiliki potensi number sense yang sangat dominan, yaitu number meaning dan number operations; potensi number sense siswa pada tingkat kemampuan kelompok bawah dalam menyelesaikan soal penjumlahan dan pengurangan pada matriks memiliki potensi number sense yang sangat dominan, yaitu number meaning. Kata kunci: Potensi number sense siswa, penjumlahan dan pengurangan pada matriks Abstract: This study aims to reveal the number of potential students in the sense above the level of group, middle group and bottom group in complete matter of addition and subtraction in the matrix in class X SMA Santun Untan Pontianak. The method used is descriptive form of a case study. The subjects were 9 students. Results of the data analysis show sense the potential number of students at the level of group above in solving addition and subtraction in the matrix have the potential number sense very dominant, meaning that number and number operations; sense the potential number of students at the intermediate level of the group's ability in solving addition and subtraction in the matrix have the potential number sense very dominant, meaning that number and number operations; sense the potential number of students at a level below the group's ability in solving addition and subtraction in the matrix have the potential number sense very dominant, meaning that number.Key words: Potential students' number sense, addition and subtraction in the matrix

Abstract

Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk-bentuk kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa kelas VII di SMP Negeri 12 Pontianak dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita yang terkait dengan perbandingan berdasarkan analisis Newman. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dan tes diagnostik soal cerita. Soal cerita yang digunakan merupakan soal uraian materi perbandingan senilai dan berbalik nilai. Analisis data yang digunakan mengacu pada analisis Newman yang terdiri dari 5 tahapan yaitu membaca, memahami, mentranformasi, keterampilan proses dan penulisan jawaban akhir. Dari hasil penelitian, kesalahan tahap membaca sebanyak 22,16 % siswa, kesalahan tahap pemahaman sebanyak 42,7 % siswa, kesalahan tahap transformasi sebanyak 64,32 % siswa, kesalahan tahap keterampilan proses sebanyak 75,13 % siswa dan kesalahan tahap penuisan jawaban akhir sebanyak 72,43% siswa. Diharapkan penelitian ini dapat menjadi bahan acuan dalam penelitian lanjutan.Kata Kunci : Analisis Kesalahan, prosedur Newman, Perbandingan Absctract : The aims of this study is to determine the forms of mistakes who made by grade VII students in SMP N 12 Pontianak to solve the story related comparison based on Newman’s analysis. The data has collected by interviews and diagnostik test. The story used is a matter of comparative matter of worth and turns value. The data analysis used refers to Newman’s analysis consisting of 5 stages of reading, comprehension, transformation, process skill, and encoding. 22.16% students reading errors, 42.7% students comprehension stage error, 64.32% students transformation stage error, 75.13% of Process skill stage error, and 72.43% students encoding stage error. Abstract

AbstractThe research aims to know and describe the effectiveness of Contextual Teaching and Learning approach in the trigonometry topic at class XI of SMK SMTI Negeri Pontianak Mechanical Engineering Department. The aspects that want to be knowand describe are the implementation of the learning process, student’s learning activities, student’s respond and student’s outcomes. The research method is descriptive method. The research subject is students in class XI TP 2. Based on the data analysis from four aspects are: (1) the implementation of the learning process categorized very good with average score 3,73; (2) student’s learning activities categorized active (77,55%); (3) student’s respond categorized positive with 3 student (8%) give a very positive respond and 33 student (92%) give a positive respond; and (4) student’s outcome is not reached classical completness with only 75% of student can achieve the minimum completeness criteria. Because only three out of four aspects that achieved, the coclusion  of this research is the implementation of Contextual Teaching and Learning approach less effective in the trigonometry topic at class XI TP 2 SMK SMTI Negeri Pontianak. Keywords:  Contextual Teaching and Learning Approach, Trigonometry Subject, Effectiveness

Abstract

AbstractThis research aim to investigate analysis mathematics analogy on rectangular and triangle material that are viewed based on the level of students? emotional intelligence. Research method which is used in investigating the research is descriptive method in form of survey research. The subject of research is students class VIII B of MTs TI AL-Madani Pontianak and the object the research is mathematic analogy analysis on rectangular and triangle material that are viewed based on the level of students? emotional intellegence. The number of students the are become the research subject are 21 students. The selection of students to be the research subject is based on the teacher recommedation. The result of data analysis shows that students who have high level of emotional intellegence, the result of analytical reasoning tests as a whole are high, but the analytical stage are high, moderate, and low. Students who have moderate level of emotional intellegence, the result of analytical reasoning tests as a whole are moderate, but the analytical stage are high, moderate, and low. Students who have low level of emotional intellegence, the test result as a whole and analytical stages are low.   Keywords:      Reasoning Mathematical Analogy, Rectangular and Triangle, and Emotional Intellegence.

Abstract

Abstract This research aimed to know the effectiveness of the application of a cooperative approach with the support of mathematical models in the material linear equation system of three variable in class X SMAS Santun Pontianak. The method used in this research is an experimental research method and the research design was pre-experimental design. There were four aspects that were in this research, such as the teacher’s class management, student activities, completeness of learning outcomes, and student responses. There were two techniques for collecting data, that’s are measurement techniques and observation techniques. Tools was used in this research were test results of the study, teacher’s class management observation sheet, student activity observation sheets, and response questionnaires. From the results of data analysis, the teacher’s class management in good category, student learning activities in active category, the completeness results of the study is not fulfilled classically, and student responses to learning in excellent category. So, learning using a cooperative approach with the support of an ineffective mathematical model was applied in the material linear equation system of three variable in class X SMAS Santun Untan Pontianak. Keywords:   Effectiveness, Cooperative Approach, Linear Equation System Of Three Variable

Abstract

ABSTRAK: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengungkap tahapan siswa dalam penyelesaian soal aritmetika sosial ditinjau dari tahapan ONeil berdasarkan tingkat kemampuan siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif berbentuk studi kasus. Subjek penelitiannya adalah siswa kelas VIIA SMP PGRI 4 Pontianak yang berjumlah 29 siswa. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa 58,33% siswa kemampuan atas sudah sesuai tahapan ONeil, siswa kemampuan menengah 56,94%, dan siswa kemampuan bawah 60%. Dilihat dari presentasenya, siswa kemampuan atas, menengah, dan bawah cenderung lebih banyak menjawab benar dalam tahap memahami konteks soal, namun cenderung melakukan kesalahan dalam tahap memanipulasi dan menyelesaikan model matematika (perhitungan), dan cenderung lebih banyak tidak menjawab pada tahap membuat model matematika yang relevan dan membuat kesimpulan secara kontekstual. Kata kunci: Tahapan Penyelesaian Soal, Tahapan ONeil ABSTRACT: This researchs objective is to know students phases in completing social arithmetic test viewed from ONeil phase based on students ability. Method used is descriptive in form of case study. The subject is 29 students from VIIA class of SMP PGRI 4 Pontianak. The result of analysis shows that 58,33% students have high ability, 56,94% have average ability, and 60% goes to poor ability. Based on percentage, students of high and average ability are intended to be right in understanding context of test, but get it wrong in manipulating and accomplishing model of math test phase, and give no answer in the phase of making relevant model of math and having contextual conclusion. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan penalaran siswa dengan wawancara klinis pada pemecahan masalah Aritmetika Sosial di kelas VIII MTs N 2 Pontianak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian deskriptif dan bentuk penelitian studi kasus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 24 orang siswa pada kelas VIII E yang kemudian dibagi menjadi 3 kelompok.  Sebelum diberikan wawancara klinis, kemampuan penalaran siswa dalam pemecahan masalah aritmetika sosial masih rendah yakni 53,57%. Setelah diberikan wawancara klinis, kemampuan penalaran siswa dalam pemecahan masalah aritmetika sosial meningkat menjadi 63,32%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa wawancara klinis dapat meningkatkan kemampuan penalaran siswa pada pemecahan masalah aritmetika sosial. Kata kunci : kemampuan penalaran, wawancara klinis. Abstrak: This research aims to increase the reasoning capability of student through clinical interview on problem solving social arithmatic in class VIII E MTs N 2 Pontianak. The method used in this reaserch is descriptive and research design is case study. The subject in this reaserch is 24 students in class VIII E that divided to three groups. Before doing clinical interview, the reasoning capability of student on problem solving social arithmatic is low, about 53,57%. After doing clinical interview, the reasoning capability on problem solving of social arithmatic increase to 63,32%. This research show that clinical interview can increase the reasoning capability of student on problem solving social arithmatic.   Key words : reasoning capability, clinical interview

Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed to find out the relationship between perception of mathematics learning and mathematical disposition of learners with the ability to solve the story problem of class X-PM2 at SMK Negeri 3 Pontianak. The method used in this research is quantitative method with ex-post facto form. Population in this research is all of student class X of Marketing majors which amounts to 100 people and divided into 3 classes. The sample of this research is 32 students of class X PM 2 SMK Negeri 3 Pontianak. The sampling technique of this research is cluster random sampling. The results showed that there was a positive correlation between perceptions of mathematics learning and the ability to solve story problems with a correlation value of 0.885, there is a positive relationship between mathematical disposition and the ability to solve the story problem with a correlation value of 0.861, there is a positive relationship between perception of mathematics learning and mathematical disposition with a correlation value of 0.907, and there is a positive relationship between the perception of mathematical learning and mathematical disposition with the ability to solve the story problem with a correlation value of 0.896.Keyword:  Perception of Mathematics Learning, Mathematical Disposition, Ability to Solve the Story Problem

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap number sense bentukan siswa kelompok atas, menengah, dan bawah jika dibandingkan dengan number sense bentukan para ahli dalam menyelesaikan soal operasi hitung bilangan bulat di kelas VII MTs Negeri 2 Pontianak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian studi kasus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 9 siswa. Hasil analisis data dapat dideskripsikan bahwa number sense bentukan siswa pada kelompok atas dalam menyelesaikan soal operasi hitung bilangan bulat memiliki bentukan number sense yang sangat dominan, yaitu number magnitude, number operations, dan number relationship; number sense bentukan siswa pada kelompok menengah dalam menyelesaikan soal operasi hitung bilangan bulat memiliki bentukan number sense yang sangat dominan, yaitu number magnitude, number operations, dan number meaning; number sense bentukan siswa pada kelompok bawah dalam menyelesaikan soal operasi hitung bilangan bulat memiliki bentukan number sense yang sangat dominan, yaitu number magnitude dan number operations. Kata kunci: number sense bentukan siswa, operasi hitung bilangan bulat Abstract: The research aimed to compare number sense according to student formation in upper, middle, and lower groups and number sense according to expert in solving integer arithmetic operation in grade VII students of State MTs 2 Pontianak. This was a case study research. Nine participants contibuted in the research. The research finding showed that number sense from student formation in upper group in solving integer arithmetic operation had dominant number sense formation namely number magnitude, number operations, and number relationship; number sense from student formation in middle group in solving integer arithmetic operation had dominant number sense formation, that are number magnitude, number operations, and number meaning; and number sense from student formation in lower group in solving integer arithmetic operation had dominant number sense formation namely number magnitude and number operations. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini berjudul Peningkatan Minat Belajar Siswa Menggunakan Alat Peraga Pada Materi Bangun Ruang di Kelas VIII B SMP Negeri 4 Teluk Keramat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan minat belajar siswa menggunakan alat peraga pada materi bangun ruang di kelas VIII B SMP Negeri 4 Teluk Keramat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian tindakan kelas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan minat belajar siswa dengan penggunaan alat peraga dalam pembelajaran matematika. Peningkatan yang terjadi pada akhir siklus yakni penambahan jumlah siswa yang memenuhi indikator minat yang meliputi aspek perhatian dengan persentase jumlah siswa 100%, aspek konsentrasi siswa dengan persentase jumlah siswa 100% dan aspek kesadaran siswa dengan persentase jumlah siswa 90%. Kesimpulan dari penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah penggunaan alat peraga dapat meningkatkan minat belajar siswa pada materi bangun ruang di kelas VII B SMP Negeri 4 Teluk Keramat. Kata kunci : minat belajar, alat peraga. Abstraction: Raising of the studens interest by using space in sphere in VIII B class of SMPN 4 Teluk keramat .Target of this research is to know to improve enthusiasm learn student use physic appliance at items wake up room in VIII B SMP Negeri 4 Teluk Keramat. Method was used in this research is classroom action research. Result of research show the existence of the rising of student interest with usage of space in study of mathematics. Improvement that happened by the end of cycle namely addition of is amount of student fulfilling enthusiasm indicator covering attention aspect with percentage of is amount of student 100%, student concentration aspect with percentage of is amount of student 100% and aspect awareness of student with percentage of is amount of student 90%. Conclusion from research of this class action is usage of space can improve learn interest at items sphere in VII B SMP Negeri 4 Teluk Keramat Keramat. Keyword : Learn interest, space
