Abstract

Keberadaan sampah yang melimpah tidak dapat dihindari di pemukiman perkotaan yang cukup padat penduduk. Pengelolaan sampah dengan melibatkan masyarakat sekitar sebagai aktor utama yang mampu menjaga kebersihan, keindahan, dan kesehatan lingkungan, merupakan langkah yang tepat dalam mengantisipasi hal tersebut. Kelurahan Pedalangan Banyumanik Semarang memiliki Rumah Pilah Sampah (Rumpilah) yang pengelolaannya masih sederhana dengan tempat yang seadanya. Rumpilah tersebut difungsikan untuk membantu memilah dan mengurangi sampah rumah tangga. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan memberdayakan Rumpilah tersebut dengan basis pengelolaan zero waste, agar lebih tertata, bersih, indah, sehat, dan secara finansial menguntungkan. Program ini relevan dengan visi UNNES yang berkomitmen menjadi universitas berwawasan konservasi. Target khusus kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini adalah terwujudnya Rumpilah yang tertata, bersih, sehat, dan menguntungkan. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan melalui 4 (empat) tahapan, yaitu sosialisasi, peningkatan kepedulian warga, praktik konservasi, monitoring dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan ini adalah Rumpilah yang bersih, indah, dan sehat bagi lingkungan masyarakat setempat.

Abstract

Materi yang harus dikuasai mahasiswa calon guru Biologi mencakup fakta, konsep, hubungan antarkonsep, proses metabolisme, hubungan antarmetabolisme, hingga kemampuan berpikir sistemik proses fisiologis makhluk hidup. Variabel yang dapat berkontribusi terhadap penguasaan materi tersebut antara lain penguatan self-efficacy dan kemampuan multirepresentasi yang seharusnya dilatihkan dan dimiliki mahasiswa selama proses belajar. Namun demikian, kedua variabel tersebut belum menjadi perhatian utama dan tujuan perkuliahan yang melibatkan proses belajar mahasiswa. Model Differentiated Learning merupakan salah satu model pembelajaran yang menekankan pada pemberian variasi fasilitas belajar yang dapat mengakomodir penguatan self-efficacy dan kemampuan multirepresentasi mahasiswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: 1) mengembangkan dan mengimplementasikan model spesifik Differentiated Learning hasil pengembangan untuk penguatan self-efficacy dan kemampuan multirepresentasi mahasiswa calon guru Biologi, 2) menganalisis perkembangan self-efficacy mahasiswa calon guru Biologi, dan 3) menganalisis perkembangan kemampuan multirepresentasi mahasiswa calon guru Biologi. Penelitian ini merupakan Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 60 orang mahasiswa Pendidikan Biologi UNNES yang mengambil mata kuliah Biologi Sel (33 mahasiswa) dan Biologi Molekuler (27 mahasiswa). Data self-efficacy mahasiswa diperoleh melalui angket berskala, kemampuan multirepresentasi mahasiswa diambil menggunakan variasi tes, yaitu naratif, bergambar, interpretasi data pada tabel, dan diagram. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model Differentiated Learning hasil pengembangan dapat diaplikasikan dengan baik dan memberikan efek positif terhadap pengembangan self-efficacy dan kemampuan multirepresentasi mahasiswa calon guru Biologi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan perangkat pendukung model pembelajaran hybrid (hybrid learning) untuk meningkatkan penguasaan TPACK para calon guru Biologi. Pengembangan model pembelajaran diawali dengan mengembangkan perangkat pendukung. Perangkat pendukung utamanya ialah 1) Rencana pembelajaran semester (RPS), dan 2) instrumen penilaian penguasaan TPACK. Penelitian pengembangan (R & D) ini menggunakan model ADDIE dengan 5 tahapan, yaitu analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation. Pada tahap implementation dilakukan uji coba produk, menggunakan pendekatan penelitian preexperimental, One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Produk 1 dan 2 diimplementasikan bersamaan dalam mata kuliah Fisiologi Hewan yang menggunakan hybrid learning, melibatkan 114 mahasiswa. Data yang dikumpulkan ialah 1) validitas RPS untuk pembelajarkan TPACK, dan 2) validitas instrumen penilaian penguasaan TPACK pada calon guru Biologi. Instrumen yang digunakan mencakup lembar validasi RPS dan lembar validasi instrument penilaian penguasaan TPACK. Data validitas RPS, data validitas instrumen penilaian penguasaan TPACK, dan data efektivitasnya dianalisis secara dekriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) RPS Fisiologi Hewan, dan 2) instrument penilaian penguasaan TPACK yang dikembangkan terbukti valid dan efektif untuk dapat mendukung model hybrid learning untuk meningkatkan penguasaan TPACK para calon guru Biologi.

Abstract

      Basic competence in digestive system material requires critical thinking skills, facts in the field students' critical thinking skills still need to be optimized. The ability to think critically is able to encourage students to find concepts and practice science process skills. The purpose of the study was to examine the effect of the Discovery Learning Natural Environment Exploration model on students' critical thinking and science process skills and determine the relationship between critical thinking skills and science process skills. This quantitative research used a pre-experiment one group pretest and posttest design. This study involved students of SMA N 1 Cawas Class XI MIPA with a research sample of 70 students. The data obtained are in the form of test results of critical thinking skills, science process skills and syntax implementation data. The N-gain results obtained increased critical thinking skills and science process skills at moderate levels, with N-gain scores of 0.7 and 0.67. The results of Wallis's crucial test obtained significance values of 0.001 and 0.04, meaning that the Discovery Learning Natural Environment Exploration model affects critical thinking skills and science process skills. The results of the Spearman correlation test obtained a coefficient value of 0.749 (strong). The conclusion of this study is that the Discovery Learning Natural Environment Exploration model is influential in improving students' critical thinking skills and science process skills, critical thinking skills are strongly correlated with science process skills.

Abstract

Class XII metabolic material has its own level of difficulty compared to other materials, because the material is difficult for the eye to perceive directly and involves a long process of enzymatic reactions. Metabolism learning at SMA Negeri 1 Karangkobar is less interactive causing students to be less critical in understanding material concepts. One alternative to improve critical thinking skills is the DISTAD Learning model (integration of the Discovery Learning model and the Student Teams Achievement Division model). The purpose of this study was to analyze the effectiveness of the DISTAD Learning model on metabolic material on high school students' critical thinking skills. This research is a quantitative research with the type of experimental research using the Pre-Experimental Design in the form of one group pretest-posttest design. The population of this study were students of class XII MIPA 1 to XII MIPA 5 SMA Negeri 1 Karangkobar for the academic year 2022/2023. Sampling was carried out using saturated sampling technique. The data collection technique used the test method and the students' critical thinking skills were tested with the One Sample T-test. The increase in students' critical thinking skills was seen from the average student score after participating in the DISTAD Learning model learning of 78.6 which was included in the high category with 76% of students obtaining grades ≥ KKM. Based on the calculation of the N-Gain test, there was an increase in three aspects of students' critical thinking skills, namely the aspect of giving simple explanations of 0.54, the aspect of making conclusions by 0.38, and the aspect of making further explanations of 0.61, where in the third This aspect shows the moderate category. In the analysis of the One Samples T-test showed a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05). The conclusion of this study is that the application of the DISTAD Learning model is effective in increasing the critical thinking skills of high school students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan permasalahan: Bagaimana upaya meningkatkan kelancaran membaca dengan menggunakan media kartu huruf pada siswa kelas I MI Raudlatul Wildan Ngetuk Ngembalrejo Bae Kudus? Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca lancar siswa kelas I dengan menggunakan media kartu huruf. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari dua siklus, di mana setiap siklus mencakup tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 25 siswa kelas I MI Raudlatul Wildan. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi media kartu huruf, lembar observasi, dan tes kelancaran membaca. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi aktivitas siswa, tes kelancaran membaca sebelum dan setelah setiap siklus, serta wawancara dengan guru kelas. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media kartu huruf berhasil meningkatkan kelancaran membaca siswa. Hal ini terlihat dari peningkatan skor kelancaran membaca pada minimal 75% siswa serta respons positif siswa terhadap penggunaan media tersebut. Penelitian yang dilaksanakan selama dua bulan ini menunjukkan bahwa media kartu huruf efektif diterapkan dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di MI Raudlatul Wildan Ngetuk Ngembalrejo Bae Kudus.

Abstract

Critical thinking skills and digital literacy are indispensable in 21st-century life. These two skills can be trained through a learning process that uses an Android-based module with a Project Based Learning model. This study aims to analyse the feasibility and effectiveness of android-based modules to improve critical thinking skills and digital literacy. This research is a research development or Research and Development (R&D). The development in this study uses the ADDIE model which consists of five stages, namely Analysis, Design, Develop, Implementation, and Evaluation. The data in this study are module validity, critical thinking skills, and digital literacy. The instrument used in this study consisted of a module validation sheet to measure the feasibility of the module, reasonable multiple-choice test questions to measure critical thinking skills, and an observation sheet to measure digital literacy. The results showed that: 1) the module was declared very valid with an average value of 86.35; 2) the module is declared effective in improving critical thinking skills which are indicated by the N-Gain value of 0.47 with moderate criteria; and 3) the module is declared effective in increasing digital literacy as indicated by the N-Gain value of 0.56 with moderate criteria.

Abstract

Keterampilan yang perlu dikuasai siswa untuk menghadapi kehidupan di abad ke-21 adalah kemampuan berpikir kritis dan pemecahan masalah, kolaborasi dan kepemimpinan, dan kemampuan beradaptasi, islam dan sains telah menjadi topik utama dalam forum ilmiah internasional, karena islam membahas banyak fakta ilmiah yang telah dinyatakan dalam Al-Qur'an dan Hadist. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kelayakan modul, menguji keefektivan modul dan mendiskripsikan profil kecerdasan Spiritual Quotient (SQ) siswa dalam pembelajaran sistem ekskresi terintegrasi Al-Qur’an dan Hadist. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Berdasarkan hasil rekapitulasi penilaian modul oleh validator ahli materi dan media dinyatakan bahwa modul sistem ekskresi terintegrasi Al-Qur’an dan Hadist sangat layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Efektivitas modul sistem ekskresi terintegrasi Al-Qur’an dan Hadist ditunjukkan dengan perolehan nilai tes pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol, dimana nilai tes kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dari kelas kontrol. Siswa yang mempelajari modul sistem ekskresi terintegrasi Al-Qur’an dan Hadist memiliki nilai SQ dengan kategori sangat baik. The skills that students need to master to face life in the 21st century are critical thinking skills and problem solving, collaboration and leadership, and adaptability, Islam and science have become major topics in international scientific forums, because Islam discusses many scientific facts that have been stated. in the Qur'an and Hadith. This study aims to analyze the feasibility of the module, test the effectiveness of the module and describe the profile of students' Spiritual Quotient (SQ) intelligence in learning the integrated excretory system of the Qur'an and Hadith. This research design uses the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Based on the results of the module assessment recapitulation by the material and media expert validators it was stated that the integrated excretion system module of the Al-Qur'an and Hadith was very suitable for use in learning. The effectiveness of the integrated excretion system module of the Qur'an and Hadith is shown by the acquisition of test scores in the experimental class and control class, where the test scores of the experimental class are higher than the control class. Students who study the Al-Qur'an and Hadith integrated excretory system module have SQ scores in the very good category.

Abstract

The partner in this Community Service (CS) activity is the Brebes Regency Biology Subject Teachers' Conference (MGMP). This CS activity aims to increase Biology teachers' knowledge and skills regarding digital learning resources on Biodiversity material based on the 2023 Merdeka Curriculum. The method used is discussion and practice using digital learning resources in learning, adapting the Merdeka Curriculum. CS implementation activities include pretest, conceptual strengthening, and practice using digital learning resources, post-tests, and independent assignments. The material for CS activities is using the NCBI database; viruses, vaccines, and their problems; creating a phylogenetic tree using the MEGA 11 program; SINTA as a learning resource; and integrating digital learning resources in learning. The knowledge test results showed that 73.3% of participants completed it, with an average N-gain of 0.6 (medium category). The post-test score was significantly different from the pretest score based on the T-test and as many as 70% of participants completed the task independently. From the activity results, it can be concluded that participants' knowledge of digital learning resources has increased and they are skilled at using them in learning design. Mastery of digital learning resources helps teachers face the Era of Society 5.0.

Abstract

The background underlying this research is that learning outcomes of second grade students at SDN Bugangan 02 in Mathematics are still low due to the use of inappropriate learning models, so that learning motivations is low and students learning outcomes are not aptimal. The aim of this research is to determine the effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by Canva on student learning outcomes. This research is quantitative research using One-Group pretest-posttest design with a sample of 14 second grade students at SDN Bugangan 02. Student learning outcomes after being given treatment (post-test) showed an increase as proven by the T-test, it was seen that the significant value was less than 0.05 (0.000 ? 0.05). This means that there is an influential difference between the average pre-test score which was initially 52.80 to 85.00 during the post-test. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of the Problem Based Learning model assisted by Canva has proven to be effective in improving student learning outcomes at the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) limit which is 75. The initial learning completion results were only 7.14% of a total of 14 students achieved completeness, and after being given treatment it became 100% of the total 14 students of second grade at SDN Bugangan 02 who achieved completeness. ABSTRAKLatar belakang penelitian ini adalah hasil belajar siswa kelas II SDN Bugangan 02 masih rendah di mata pelajaran Matematika akibat penggunaan metode pembelajaran yang tidak efektif. Mencari tahu seberapa baik pendekatan Problem Based Learning (PBL) dalam pendidikan, dengan bantuan Canva, mempengaruhi nilai akhir siswa adalah kekuatan pendorong di balik penelitian ini. Empat belas siswa kelas dua SDN Bugangan 02 berpartisipasi dalam penelitian kuantitatif ini, yang menggunakan desain penelitian One-Group Pretest-Posttest. Uji T menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa setelah diberikan perlakuan (post-test). Hasil yang signifikan yaitu kurang dari 0,05 (0,000 ? 0,05) terlihat pada saat dilakukan uji Paired Sample T-test. Hal ini menunjukkan adanya perubahan yang signifikan dari rata-rata nilai Pre-test 52,80 menjadi 85,00 setelah diberikan perlakuan. Berdasarkan persentase peningkatannya dapat dikatakan bahwa penggunaan media Canva untuk membantu paradigma Problem Based Learning telah meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Pada saat siswa mencapai batas KKM, hasil belajarnya sudah tuntas sebesar 75 persen. Setelah mendapat perlakuan, persentase siswa yang tuntas meningkat dari 7,14 persen menjadi 100 persen.
