Abstract

Abstract mustahik. Furthermore, current data indicate the existence of zakat management institutions operating without official authorization, posing risks of misuse of religious social funds. Therefore, optimizing the zakat fitrah management system through enhanced inter-institutional coordination, digital technology utilization, and public education is imperative to ensure more effective and impactful zakat distribution. Zakat fitrah is a religious obligation for every Muslim who possesses sufficient wealth, functioning primarily as an instrument of economic redistribution and spiritual purification prior to the Eid al-Fitr celebration. The effectiveness of zakat fitrah distribution management is a crucial factor in ensuring accurate and timely allocation to eligible recipients (mustahik). This study aims to analyze the zakat fitrah distribution system in four selected regions of Central Kalimantan: Sukamara, Kotawaringin Timur, Palangka Raya, and Barito Selatan. The research employs a qualitative approach, utilizing in-depth interviews and direct observation as primary data collection techniques. In addition, a normative juridical method is applied to examine relevant regulations governing zakat distribution and the authority of managing institutions. The findings reveal that zakat fitrah distribution in these areas is generally conducted through mosques, zakat institutions, and local government bodies. However, several challenges persist, including unequal distribution, limited use of information technology for zakat recordkeeping, and inadequate oversight in the allocation process to mustahik. The study also highlights the continued operation of unauthorized zakat institutions, as reported by the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs in 2023, which potentially undermines transparency and accountability in zakat fitrah management. Moreover, the presence of unlicensed zakat managers poses a risk of misuse of religious social funds. Therefore, optimizing the zakat fitrah management system through strengthened inter-institutional coordination, digital technology adoption, and enhanced public literacy on zakat is essential to ensure a more effective and sustainable distribution. Abstrak Zakat fitrah merupakan kewajiban bagi setiap Muslim yang memiliki kecukupan harta, dengan fungsi utama sebagai instrumen pemerataan ekonomi dan penyucian jiwa menjelang Hari Raya Idul Fitri. Efektivitas manajemen penyaluran zakat fitrah menjadi faktor krusial dalam memastikan distribusi yang tepat sasaran dan tepat waktu kepada para mustahik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sistem penyaluran zakat fitrah di empat daerah di Kalimantan Tengah, yaitu Sukamara, Kotawaringin Timur, Palangka Raya, dan Barito Selatan. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam dan observasi langsung, serta dilengkapi dengan pendekatan yuridis normatif untuk menelaah regulasi terkait penyaluran zakat dan otoritas lembaga pengelolanya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penyaluran zakat fitrah di wilayah tersebut dilakukan melalui masjid, lembaga zakat, dan pemerintah daerah. Namun, sejumlah tantangan masih dihadapi, seperti pendistribusian yang belum merata, minimnya pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dalam pencatatan zakat, serta lemahnya pengawasan terhadap penyaluran kepada mustahik. Penelitian ini juga menyoroti keberadaan lembaga zakat ilegal yang masih aktif beroperasi, sebagaimana dirilis Kementerian Agama RI pada tahun 2023, yang berpotensi memengaruhi transparansi dan akuntabilitas dalam pengelolaan zakat fitrah. Selain itu, ditemukan adanya lembaga pengelola zakat yang beroperasi tanpa izin resmi, yang berpotensi menimbulkan penyalahgunaan dana sosial keagamaan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan optimalisasi sistem pengelolaan zakat fitrah melalui penguatan koordinasi antarlembaga, pemanfaatan teknologi digital, serta peningkatan literasi zakat kepada masyarakat guna mendorong penyaluran zakat yang lebih efektif dan berkelanjutan. Abstract

This article aims to examine the audience's response to the da'wah content broadcasted by "Suara Muslimah" on the NU online YouTube channel. The research method used in this study was a qualitative text analysis. Through the examination of 162 netizen comments on four episodes of "Suara Muslimah" programs, the findings have shown that the majority of audiences have positive responses to da'wah content aired by the "Suara Muslimah" program, although some audiences have responded negatively and others made irrelevant comments to the content. Additionally, the audience also provided responses related to cognitive, affective, and conative aspects.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to study the management methods used by Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers at SMKN 2 Bandar Lampung when implementing the values of religious moderation. The method of religious moderation emphasizes balance, tolerance, and an inclusive attitude in religious life. The researchers examined the role of PAI teachers as controllers in incorporating moderation values into the learning and school culture. They do this by using a qualitative case study approach. Observation, documentation, and in-depth interviews were used in the data collection process. The results show that PAI teachers at SMKN 2 Bandar Lampung use managerial strategies such as continuous value-based evaluation, internal teacher training, inclusive lesson planning, and cross-subject collaboration. Success is supported by the enhancement of the religious moderation curriculum, teacher training, and inclusive school policies. This research also applies a systems approach in educational management, considering the interaction between input, process, and output in moderate educational practices. The research results contribute to the development of contemporary Islamic education management theory and adaptive religious education policy practices. This research suggests that teachers should be strengthened with competency-based training and evaluation to implement the values of religious moderation in vocational schools.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the development of the green campus at UIN Raden Intan Lampung. This is due to the fact that sustainable campus development is very important to support sustainable development and reduce the negative impact it has on the environment. One of the data collection methods used in this qualitative research is interviews with informants involved in the development of the Green Campus. The results show that UIN Raden Intan Lampung has developed a Green Campus strategy through the "Six in One" program and has achieved a ranking of 18th nationally and 71st globally in the UI Green Metric. The main obstacles faced are the limited human resources and public awareness. In conclusion, the green campus of UIN Raden Intan Lampung has shown significant progress. To ensure the sustainable development of the campus, more human resources and increased public awareness are needed.

Abstract

This article discusses the strategies implemented by the Malahayati Islamic Boarding School in Bandar Lampung in forming environmentally conscious characters through the eco-boarding school program. As an Islamic-based educational institution, the Malahayati Islamic Boarding School in Bandar Lampung has an important role in instilling Islamic values ​​that also include aspects of caring for nature. The eco-boarding school program implemented in this boarding school aims to integrate character education with environmental conservation values. This study uses a qualitative method with an observation approach and in-depth interviews conducted with the Mudir (boarding school leader) and educators at the boarding school. Data obtained from interviews and documentation were analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques. The results of the study indicate that the eco-boarding school program implemented in the Malahayati Islamic Boarding School in Bandar Lampung has proven effective in increasing students' awareness and concern for the environment. Some of the main activities in this program include planting gardens, inter-class cleanliness competitions, and maintaining aquariums in students' rooms, which directly involve students in maintaining the cleanliness and sustainability of nature. This program also plays an important role in forming the character of students who are disciplined, responsible, and have a high sense of concern for the environment around them. It is expected that the implementation of this eco-pesantren program can be adopted by other Islamic boarding schools as an educational model that combines religious aspects with environmental preservation

Abstract

Krisis ekologi global yang meliputi perubahan iklim, penurunan keanekaragaman hayati, dan pencemaran lingkungan telah menjadi ancaman serius bagi keberlanjutan kehidupan di bumi. Dalam konteks ini, pendidikan memiliki peran strategis untuk membentuk generasi yang bertanggung jawab secara ekologis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi urgensi pendidikan Islam dalam membentuk keshalehan ekologis santri melalui pendekatan eco-pesantren. Eco- pesantren merupakan inovasi pendidikan yang mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai keislaman dan praktik keberlanjutan lingkungan, seperti penghijauan, pengelolaan sampah, dan kompetisi kebersihan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif, melibatkan observasi, wawancara, dan kajian literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi eco-pesantren berhasil menciptakan perilaku santri yang peduli lingkungan. Nilai-nilai kebersihan, tanggung jawab, dan kedisiplinan yang diajarkan melalui pendekatan holistik berbasis Islam terbukti efektif dalam membangun budaya keberlanjutan di lingkungan pesantren. Santri yang terlibat aktif dalam program ini menunjukkan perubahan signifikan dalam perilaku mereka, baik di lingkungan pesantren maupun di masyarakat. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa eco-pesantren memiliki potensi besar sebagai model pendidikan Islam yang berkelanjutan. Untuk meningkatkan dampaknya, diperlukan penguatan kolaborasi dengan instansi lingkungan, perluasan kurikulum berbasis ekologi, dan pengembangan sarana pendukung. Dengan pendekatan ini, pesantren dapat menjadi pusat pembentukan generasi muda yang tidak hanya berakhlak mulia tetapi juga bertanggung jawab terhadap kelestarian lingkungan.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the impact of the Green Campus programme on students' environmental understanding, attitudes and behaviours, as well as identify factors that influence its successful implementation at UIN Raden Intan Lampung. The research used a qualitative approach with a case study method, involving 5-10 students as subjects. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), and participatory observations, then analysed through transcription, encoding, theme identification, triangulation, and interpretation of findings. The results showed that the Green Campus programme significantly contributed to increasing students' environmental awareness and behaviour. Supporting factors include personal awareness, campus policy, social interaction, personal experience, and extracurricular activities. Support from lecturers, campus officials, and educational materials also play an important role, although effectiveness can be improved through practical training and the utilisation of technology. The programme not only changes students' behaviour on campus, but also influences their actions in daily life.

Abstract

The development of technology in the Society 5.0 era requires the world of education, including Islamic Religious Education, to transform in order to present a relevant, adaptive, and future-oriented learning model. This transformation does not only change the teaching media, but also includes a shift in the learning paradigm, methods, and strategies that combine Islamic values ​​with advances in digital technology. This study aims to examine the implementation of the transformation of Islamic Religious Education learning based on digital technology in the Society 5.0 era. This study uses a qualitative approach with a literature study research method carried out through a critical review of various literatures that discuss the digitalization of Islamic education and its implementation in the context of Islamic Religious Education learning. The results of the study identified three main aspects in the transformation of Islamic Religious Education learning based on digital technology in the Society 5.0 era. First, the integration of digital technology through the use of online platforms, learning applications, and interactive media that support flexible and contextual learning. Second, the shift in approach from teacher-centered to student-centered learning, where students become active subjects in the learning process based on digital experiences. Third, challenges that include the gap in access to digital infrastructure, limited teacher competence in digital pedagogy, and the need to strengthen digital literacy and ethics based on Islamic values. This study concludes that the success of PAI transformation based on digital technology requires synergy between teachers, educational institutions, and policy makers through increasing human resource capacity, providing infrastructure, and curriculum innovation that supports the integration of technology and Islamic values. This study recommends further field-based research to explore the implementation of digital PAI learning in various educational units.

Abstract

Various activities at boarding school require students to own high hardiness and self-efficacy. Regarding this issue, the present study strived for analyzing the effectiveness of the Islamic-based Solution Focused Brief Counseling (SFBC) group counseling to increase the hardiness and self-efficacy of students at MTs Negeri 2 Brebes. An experimental method with the design of pretest-posttest control group was employed by involving 16 students. Based on the Wilcoxon test, the Islamic-based SFBC group counseling could increase the hardiness and self-efficacy of students at MTs Negeri 2 Brebes. Thus, the future studies can use SFBC counseling to increase matters related to human perspectives, such as self-confidence.
