Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsiakn konsep manajemen akal dalam testudi Al-quran dan Al-hadits penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian pustaka dengan menggunakan tafsir tematik terhadap ayat-ayat Al-Quran dan Al-Hadits dalam hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa majemen akal merupakan salah satu konsep yang harus diatur didalam Alquran dan Al-Hadits Dalam ajaran islam, akal memperoleh kehormatan yang tinggi. Banyak ayat-ayat dalm Al-Quran maupun hadits-hadits yang mengarahkan manusia untuk menggunakan akalnya agar berpikir dengan baik dalam memahami ajaran agama maupun ilmu pengetahuan. Akal dalam pengertian Islam, bukanlah otak, melainkan daya berpikir yang ada dalam jiwa manusia, daya yang digambarkan dalam Al Quran yaitu untuk mendapatkan ilmu pengetahuan dengan memerhatikan alam sekitar.

Abstract

The assessment of scientific works at Pekan Olahraga, Riset dan Ornamen (POROS) II Competition of Eastern Indonesia Islamic Universities 2021 in the field of Islamic education, Islamic Law, Ushuluddin, and Islamic economy involves three judges who assess some components such as the format of works, creativity, topic, data, sources, analysis, synthesis, and conclusion which possibly bring differences among the judges. In addition, the weight of each component is also different. The criteria in the scoring can affect the consistency of the judges. Therefore, it is essential to determine the judges' reliability coefficient of the assessment. This study is quantitative research because its primary data are the scores of the judges’ reviews. The reliability estimation of this study used the variants analysis approach and procedure based on the generalizability theory through the concept of G-Study with multifacet design. Based on the analysis, it was obtained that the reliability coefficient of the combined score of participants’ assessment, especially in the field of Islamic education, was 0.90920, which means that the assessment instrument used in the scientific works of POROS II Competition 2021 in Islamic education was reliable in determining the best results.

Abstract

This study aimed to explore the role of home industry activities for the community in the Tilongkabila district. This study was qualitative research with a case study method. This study examined in depth the community economic empowerment through home industries that have developed in Bongopini Village (Tofu Tempeh), Lonuo Village (Chips and Sugar Brown), Permata and Bongoime Village (Cake, Pia, workshop, and Ayam Geprek Restaurant), and Tamboo Village (pastry). Furthermore, data were collected through observation, interview, and documentation techniques. Then, data were analyzed based on the interactive model consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and verification/conclusion. This study showed that home industry activities were vital to community economic empowerment. The home industries in the Tilongkabila district have a significant role in reducing unemployment, creating jobs, being a source of income for the community, improving living standards, and increasing community skills. Home industries are a way out of the high gap between people who need work and the number of jobs.

Abstract

This article aims to see how the concept of education financing management is in Islamic Education Institutions, so that it can find new formulations in financing management. The research method used in this research is library. Namely research whose data was found through literature review and other references related to this research. The results of this study found that financial management in Islamic educational institutions needs to be carried out as well as possible so that all educational operational activities can be carried out smoothly and properly. In this regard, leaders of Islamic educational institutions need to have knowledge regarding the management of funding for Islamic educational institutions, so that they can run the organization well.

Abstract

In 21st century learning, students must have Critical Thinking, Creative Thinking, Collaborative and Communicative, better known as 4C skills. 4C skills help students provide solutions in solving a problem. However, teachers have not been able to stimulate students to have 4C thinking skills. The discovery model is one model that is effective in encouraging students to think 4C. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of the discovery learning model on students' 4c thinking abilities. This type of research is meta-analysis research. Data sources come from 10 national and international journals. Search for data sources via Google Scholar, ERIC, ScienceDirect, DOAJ, and Wiley databases. The data collection technique is direct observation through databases and documentation. The data analysis technique calculates the effect size value with the help of the JASP application. The research results concluded that the average score for critical thinking was 82.17, creative thinking 80.52, communication 85.16, and collaboration 80.57. Furthermore, the average effect size value is 1.017 with high criteria. These findings explain that the discovery learning model has a significant effect on students' 4c thinking abilities

Abstract

Background. Accustoming children to the character of independence is not only beneficial during childhood, but also has an impact on the child's future when they are adults. Therefore, it is necessary to measure children's level of independence from childhood so that teachers can know the level of development of their students' independence and can carry out learning activities that can improve and increase children's independence at school. Purpose. The aim of this research was to implement the habituation of children's independent character from elementary age so that teachers can find out the level of development of their students' independence and can carry out learning activities that can improve and increase children's independence in madrasah ibtidaiyah. Method. The type of research used in this research is quantitative descriptive research to obtain a picture of children's independence among students at Madrasah Ibtidiyah by looking at three indicators of children's independence at Madrasah Ibtidiyah. The subjects in this research were madrasah ibtidaiyah students. The data obtained was then analyzed using a descriptive percentage formula.   Results. The results of the research showed that the method for habituating children's independent behavior in Ibtidaiyah madrasas is by designing activities, whether routine, spontaneous or programmed activities. The habit of character independence can be implemented through the class picket program, arriving on time, washing hands before entering class, doing assignments given by the teacher yourself without cheating, taking and returning books read in the library, and many other examples. Conclusion. These habits can be applied to encourage independent behavior in children.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to improve students' learning outcomes on the topic of division operations involving two-digit numbers through the application of the Direct Instruction Learning Model in Class IV at SD Muhammadiyah I Limboto. The research employs a Classroom Action Research design, consisting of pre-cycle, cycle 1, and cycle 2 stages. Each stage includes planning, action, observation, and reflection. The study was conducted at SD Muhammadiyah I Limboto with 19 students, and the minimum competency criterion (KKTP) was set at 75. Data collection techniques included observation, tests, and documentation. Data analysis was performed using simple formulas to calculate average scores and percentages. The results indicated that in the pre-cycle, 7 students (37%) achieved learning completeness. In cycle 1, this increased to 12 students (63%), and in cycle 2, it further increased to 18 students (95%). The class average in cycle 2 was 86%, surpassing the KKTP of 75. After completing the two cycles, it is evident that the Direct Instruction model significantly improved students' learning outcomes in the arithmetic operation of division involving two-digit numbers. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui penggunaan media kubus satuan dengan model problem based learning dapat Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar materi volume kubus dan balok kelas 5 SDN 3 Limboto. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Waktu pelaksanaan penelitian selama 1 bulan, tempat penelitian sdn 3 limboto, subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SDN 3 Limboto, jumlah siswa tahun ajaran 2023-2024 sebanyak 30 siswa yaitu 16 laki-laki dan 14 perempuan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa hasil belajar siswa materi volume kubus dan balok dengan menggunakan media kubus satuan meningkat. Pada siklus I tingkat penguasaan siswa terhadap tujuan pembelajaran belum tercapai, terdapat 50% siswa yang mendapatkan nilai diatas rata-rata. Siklus 2 tingkat penguasan siswa terhadap pembelajaran dapat tercapai, karena telah mencapai 83%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media kubus satuan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar materi volume kubus dan balok kelas V SDN 3 Limboto.

Abstract

Mathematics plays an important role in daily life and the cognitive development of students. However, many students face difficulties in learning mathematics, particularly with complex topics like mixed fractions. These difficulties are often caused by internal factors, such as negative attitudes and low interest in mathematics, as well as external factors, such as the lack of effective learning media and family support. This study aims to analyze the learning difficulties of 4th-grade students at SDN 2 Tolangohula on the topic of mixed fractions and its impact on their interest in learning. A qualitative descriptive approach with a case study was used. The results show that internal factors such as negative attitudes and low motivation are major contributors to the students' difficulties, while external factors related to media use and family support also play a role. Efforts to create a pleasant learning environment and the use of nature-based learning media are expected to improve students' understanding and interest in mathematics

Abstract

The current use of geometry textbooks in elementary schools still focuses on abstract theories and concepts, adhering to national standards that do not always align with local cultural characteristics. The development of a geometry teaching material based on the local wisdom of Gorontalo was chosen as one of the solutions to this issue. This research and development utilized the ADDIE model, which consists of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The subjects of the study were fourth, fifth, and sixth-grade students and teachers at MIT Al-Ishlah and SDN 3 Bulango Ulu. Data were collected through evaluation tests, expert validation questionnaires, and questionnaires for teachers and students. The results of the validation by content experts, language experts, and media experts were 78.4%, 83.33%, and 94.64%, respectively, all categorized as "valid." The responses from teachers and students during the trial phase were 83.33% and 81.71%, respectively, both categorized as "very practical." Thus, the Geometry Textbook Based on Local Wisdom of Gorontalo: Plane Figures and Solid Figures for 4th, 5th, and 6th Grade Students can be declared valid and practical for use in teaching.
