Abstract

Mushroom farmers are part of Small and Medium Enterprises (UKM) involved in mushroom cultivation, established in 2019. Continuously engaging in development and ongoing improvements, this SME considers the geographical location of the Selorejo Blitar area highly suitable for mushroom cultivation. Efforts to improve management and administration are consistently made, with the hope that the business will operate smoothly alongside administrative compliance. Given these conditions and recognizing the importance of legality for business operators, the community service team contributes to mushroom farmers by providing training on obtaining the Business Registration Number through the Online Single Submission (OSS) system. The result of this community service activity is that mushroom farmers not only fulfill their administrative requirements but also legally register their businesses with the Ministry of Industry and Trade. This registration brings additional benefits, such as access to government services, ease of banking ABSTRAKPetani Jamur merupakan salah satu UKM yang bergerak dibidang Pertanian Jamur dan berdiri pada tahun 2019. UKM ini terus menerus melakukan pengembangan dan perbaikan berkelanjutan mengingat lokasi geografis area Selorejo Blitar sangat sesuai dengan komoditas Jamur ini. Upaya perbaikan manajemen dan adminstrasi juga selalu dilakukan dengan harapan usaha akan berjalan seimbang dengan pemenuhan administrasi. Berdasar kondisi tersebut dan mengingat pentingnya legalitas bagi pelaku usaha, maka tim pengabdi hadir dengan berkontribusi terhadap Petani Jamur dengan memberikan pelatihan bagaimana mendapatkan Nomor Induk Berusaha melalui sistem OSS (Online Single Submission). Hasil dari kegatan pengabdian masyarakat ini yaitu pelaku Petani Jamur tidak hanya melengkapi kebutuhan administrasi tetapi juga secara legal usahanya terdaftar di Kementrian Perindustrian dan Perdagangan serta memperoleh kemudahan-kemudahan lain seperti akses layanan pemerintah, kemudahan transaksi perbankan, kredibelitas, kepatuhan regulasi, peluang pasar, fasilitas pajak serta integrasi data.

Abstract

Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan, wawasan dan keterampilan anggota Kelompok Tani Rotan Lestri. Kegiatan utama adalah penerapan teknologi teknik anyaman rotan bagi anggota kelompok tani. Metode pelatihan yang diterapkan adalah metode atau pendekatan andragogi, yaitu metode pembelajaran orang dewasa. Materi yang diberikan adalah teknik anyaman, materi pelatihan berupa dasar-dasar menganyam dan praktek menganyam beberap jenis produk rotan serta proses finishing, seperti pembakaran bulu-rotan, pengecatan, pengeringan, pengamplasan dan pengecatan akhir. Selanjutnya kegiatan dilanjutkan dalam bentuk pendampingan diikuti dengan evaluasi berkelanjutan. Jumlah peserta pelatihan ada 10 orang (2 pria dan 8 wanita). Hasil dari pelatihan ini adalah meningkatnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan dasar-dasar menganyam rotan serta mampu menganyam beberapa produk anyaman rotan beberapa peralatan rumah tangga, serta mampu melakukna proses finishing  produk sederhana. Semua peserta mampu membuat enam jenis produk rotan seperti: piring, pot/vas bunga, keranjang,  baki, bosara dan kap lampu.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The prevalence of diabetes mellitus in Indonesia who live in urban areas is 10.6% or 8.4 million people. The high incidence of diabetes mellitus requires diabetes patient compliance to take diabetes medication. However, in reality there are still many patients who have low levels of compliance in carrying out medication management programs. This study aims to determine the factors associated with compliance with taking medication for diabetes mellitus patients at the Perumnas Health Center in Kendari City. This study used a cross-sectional design with a sample size of 56 patients taken using a simple random sampling technique. The instrument used to measure research variables uses a questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis used the chi-square test with a confidence level of 95%. The research results show education (p-value=0.025), knowledge (p-value=0.004), self-motivation (p-value=0.013), family support (p-value=0.000), support from health workers (p-value=0.001). This means that education, knowledge, self-motivation, family support and support from health workers are related to the level of compliance of diabetes mellitus patients in taking medication. It is recommended for health centers to supervise patients when taking medication, and for the patient's family to remind patients to always take medication. Abstract

The Department of Transportation is a government agency that has roles, obligations and responsibilities for the management and development of various aspects of the transportation system in an area both at the central and regional levels. The Department of Transportation is required to ensure compliance with applicable transportation safety standards, this is because the Department of Transportation is the main stakeholder in mobility management. Transportation plays a crucial role in moving people and goods from one location to another. Passenger protection is a key focus in the context of transportation security, to ensure the safety and comfort of passengers during travel. Evaluation of applicable security regulations and the role of the government in encouraging passenger protection reform is an important discussion. This study aims to determine the role and obstacles faced by the Tulungagung Regency Transportation Office in evaluating the safety standards of ferry boat passengers who have not obtained an operational permit. The research method used is Yuridical-Empirical, by conducting observations and interviews with the Head of Transportation and Facilities of the Tulungagung Regency Transportation Office. The results of this study found that the Transportation Department provides maximum efforts in providing supervision, protection, and socialization, but there are some unscrupulous service providers who do not comply with the procedures and rules that have been determined.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan November 2019 sampai bulan maret di Green House Fakultas Pertanian dan untuk analisis tanah dan tanaman dilakukan di Laboratorium Ilmu Tanah, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Tadulako, Palu Sulawesi Tengah. Dengan lokasi pengambilan sampel tanah di Desa Sidera, Kecamatan Biromaru, Kabupaten Sigi, Provinsi Sulawesi Tengah. Penelitian ini disusun dalam rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan 6 taraf perlakuan dan diulang sebanyak 4 kali sehingga didapatkan 24 satuan percobaan 6 taraf dosis perlakuan tersebut antara lain: Kontrol (Tanpa pemberian pupuk kandang sapi ): Pupuk kandang sapi dengan dosis 5 ton ha-1 : Pupuk kandang sapi dengan dosis 10 ton ha-1: pupuk kandang sapi dengan dosis 15 ton ha-1: Pupuk kandang sapi dengan dosis 20 ton ha-1: Pupuk kandang sapi dengan dosis 25 ton ha-1: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian pupuk kandang sapi dengan dosis 10 ton ha-1 dapat meningkatkan Ph sebesar 6,298% C-organik sebesar 2,55%, K-tersedia sebesar 0,82 g, K jaringan tanaman sebesar 0,91,50%, dan serapan kalium tanaman bawang merah sebesar 6,3758%.

Abstract

Occupational health and safety is one of the requirements set in international relations that must be met by all members including Indonesia and Malaysia. In an effort to provide protection to workers, Indonesia and Malaysia have ratified the International Labor Organization (but not all ILO conventions are ratified). Ratifying the convention, bringing the consequences that both countries must meet the ILO standards in implementing legal protection of their workers. The ILO aims to promote social justice, the protection of women workers and the promotion of equality between men and women, to obtain decent and productive employment in conditions of freedom, equity, security and dignity and participation in unions. Although the principle of equality, opportunity and treatment between men and women has been widely accepted in many countries, in practice injustice exists within the union environment both locally and locally.

Abstract

This study aims to develop creative mindsets and modernization strategies for micro, small and medium enterprises (UMKM) in RW 01, Mulyorejo Village, Malang City through training and digital marketing in the digital era. Karang Taruna in this area has experienced a decline in activity, so revitalization and increased understanding of organizational management are needed. This program uses a participatory approach involving observation, socialization, training, and evaluation. Through organizational management training, Karang Taruna RW 01 succeeded with members who better understand their roles in society. Mentoring for MSMEs is carried out to improve digital marketing skills, such as creating business profiles on social media, using Instagram and Google Maps, and increasing product branding. As a result, MSMEs in RW 01 such as Dapur Mbak Vidho and Jamu Instant Mekar Sari have succeeded in increasing the visibility and sales of their products. In conclusion, digital marketing has a crucial role in supporting the sustainability and innovation of UMKM, as well as contributing to socio-economic development at the local level.

Abstract

Rice farming is one of the businesses in the agricultural sector that is applied by people in various regions to meet their daily needs. Post-harvest processing technology is certainly needed to increase farmers' income through rice milling which has a great influence on determining the quality of crop yields. Rice milling is a meeting place between production, post-harvest, processing, marketing, and rice so that it is an important link in supplying national rice which is required to be able to contribute to the provision of rice, both in terms of quantity and quality. This study aims to find out the total cost, total revenue, total income and feasibility analysis of  rice milling business. Mansyaul Huda in Trimomukti Village, Candipuro District, South Lampung Regency. The method used in this study is using quantitative analysis, which is one type of research that aims to analyze factually and accurately, while the implementation method carried out in this study is the case study method. The results of the study show that the total cost incurred by rice milling is Rp.6,624,056,325, total revenue is Rp.7,545,260,000, total income is Rp.921,203,675 and business feasibility analysis with a result of 1.13. The results of the study mean that the  rice milling business. Mansyaul Huda is very profitable and worthy of effort or it can also be interpreted that every rice milling business spends or sacrifices a cost of Rp. 1,- then gets a revenue of Rp.1.13 in the rice milling business. Abstract

The quality of our future lives depends on how we prepare for it today. Education plays a crucial role in preparing individuals to be globally competitive. Teachers, as the spearhead of civilization, must bring fresh perspectives in facilitating students to acquire 21st-century skills and competencies. Preparing for this necessitates discussing the urgency of teachers' pedagogical competencies in 21st-century learning through a critical study of futuristic pedagogy. This research will delve into the importance of teachers possessing futuristic pedagogical competencies to prepare for a prosperous life in the 21st century. A critical and comprehensive discussion on pedagogical competencies for 21st-century teachers and futuristic pedagogy theories will be conducted using the library research method to gather relevant data supporting the topic under review. The result of this research is that teachers with pedagogical competencies, particularly futuristic pedagogy, can guide students in developing critical, creative, and collaborative skills that meet 21st-century demands, preparing them to be future leaders and innovators. Therefore, investing in the development of teachers' pedagogical competencies in the context of 21st-century learning and conducting a critical review of futuristic pedagogy is a crucial step in ensuring that education remains relevant and positively impacts the development of students and society as a whole.

Abstract

Writing is one of the most important aspects in English language acquisition. Teaching writing has its own challenges since there are some steps and requirements that teachers should prepare to undertake in the classroom. This article is aimed to discuss teaching and learning writing in the classroom based on theoretical conceptualisation. In addition, curriculum of teaching writing will be another important factor to consider as well as research and practice in teaching writing. Based on comparison to many theoretical concepts from various researchers, it shows that most of Indonesian students still struggle to figure out their problems of grammatical area. The biggest challenge is derived from the difference in cultural backgrounds between the students’ mother tongue and English, so it is possible to know the production of their writing does not ‘sound’ well in appropriate culture of English. Several problems also occur when the teachers have big classes to teach and the result of teaching writing to the students may be defeated. In this case, time also being a big challenge for the teachers to have the students’ writing improve because to accomplish a good composition in English, it needs complex steps such as brainstorming, prewriting, drafting, and editing. However, new techniques in teaching writing are needed to develop the students’ writing outcomes.
