Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran ARIAS berbantuan powerpoint animasi terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi organisasi kehidupan kelas VII SMPN 3 Sungai Raya. Bentuk penelitian adalah eksperimen semu dengan rancangan nonequivalent controlgroup design. Sampel penelitian ini adalah kelas VIIA sebagai kelas eksperimen dan VIIC sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes pilihan ganda berjumlah 30 soal.Rata-rata hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen adalah 24,18, sedangkan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa kelas kontrol adalah 21,38. Berdasarkan hasil analisis uji U Mann-Whitney dengan taraf signifikan α = 5% menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan antara hasil belajar siswa yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran ARIAS berbantuan powerpoint animasi dengan siswa yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Nilai Effect Size yang diperoleh sebesar 0,76 dengan kategori sedang dan memberikan kontribusi sebesar 27,64%,artinya model ARIAS berbantuan powerpoint animasi berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Kata Kunci : Model ARIAS, Organisasi Kehidupan Abstract:The purpose of this research was to know the influence of ARIAS learning model assisted powerpoint animation toward learning outcomes in life organization materials on grade VII SMPN 3 Sungai Raya. The form of this research was a quasy experimental design with nonequivalent control group design. The sample of this research are VIIA as experiment class and VIIC as control class. The instrument that been used was multiple choice testincluded 30questions. The average learning outcomes of students in experiment class is 24,18, while the average learning outcomes of students in control class is 21,38. Based on the U Mann-Whitney testwith significance level α = 5% indicated there were differences between students that taught by using ARIAS learning model assisted powerpoint animation with students that taught by using conventional learning model. The value of effect size is 0,76 with moderate category and gave the contribution 27,64%, it means ARIAS model learning assisted powerpoint animation gave effect on student learning outcomes. Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the feasibility of the comic media of makrofungi diversity in the Mount Forest Preserve Tunggal of Semayang village’s makrofungi inventory result as a learning medium for SMA class X’s biodiversity study and to determine the types of makrofungi which are available in Mount Forest Preserve Tunggal of Semayang village. The research was quantitative with descriptive method. Samples were taken using purposive sampling with cruising method. The results of the research found  as many as 41 types of fungi from 21 families in 2 division (Basidiomycota and Ascomycota). Basidiomycota division includes Agaricaceae, Amanitaceae, Auricullariaceae, Bolbitiaceae, Clavariaceae, Fomitopsidaceae, Ganodermataceae, Hymenochaetaceae, Incertaceae sedis, Inocybaceae,  Lyophyllaceae, Marasmiaceae, Meripilaceae, Meruliaceae, Mycenaceae, Plutuaceae, Polyporaceae, Russulaceae, Serpulaceae and Streaceae families, while the Ascomycota division include Sarcoscyphaceae family. The result of comic assessment carried out by 5 validators is valid with the average score of CVI 1, so that it can be properly used as a medium of learning in the topic of biodiversity. Keywords: Inventory, Makrofungi, Comic

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui efektivitas pembelajaran kooperatif berbantuan flipbook terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi virus di kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Salatiga Kabupaten Sambas. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah Quasi Eksperiment dengan rancangan Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah sampel jenuh. Sampel penelitian yaitu siswa kelas XB sebagai kelas eksperimen dan siswa kelas XA sebagai kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh rata-rata hasil belajar siswa yang diajar dengan pembelajaran kooperatif berbantuan flipbook sebesar 46,25, sedangkan kelas yang diajar dengan pembelajaran konvensional sebesar 41,40. Hasil uji t pada α = 5% menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan antara skor rata-rata hasil belajar siswa pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan perhitungan effect size diperoleh nilai 0,96 (kategori tinggi), artinya pembelajaran kooperatif berbantuan flipbook efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi virus. Kata Kunci: Efektivitas, Pembelajaran Kooperatif,  Flipbook, Virus.  Abstract: This research aims to determine the effectiveness of cooperative learning using flipbook toward student learning outcomes in virus material to tenth grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Salatiga Sambas. The form of this research was Quasi Experimen with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sampling technique in this research is saturated samples. The reseach sampling using XB grade students as an experimental class and XA grade students as an control class. According to the analysis of data obtained by the average of students outcomes taught by cooperative learning using flipbook is 46,25, while classes taught by conventional learning is 41,40. The result at α = 5% showed a significant differences between the average score of students learning outcomes in the experimental class and control class. according the value of the effect size is 0,96 (including high category), which means that  cooperative learning using flipbook is effective to enhance student’s learning outcome in virus material. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat film hasil penelitian kualitas air di perairan Sungai Landak dan mengetahui kelayakan film sebagai media pembelajaran. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Dari hasil penlitian kualitas air, diketahui Sungai Landak mengalami pencemaran air dengan hasil pengujian sampel parameter fisika (suhu) berada di bawah ambang batas dengan nilai rata-rata 28-28,33ºC sedangkan (kecerahan) dengan nilai rata-rata 0,10-0,11m berada di atas ambang batas. Parameter kimia (pH) dengan nilai 6 berada di bawah ambang batas dan parameter biologi dilihat dari keberadaan fitoplankton dengan indeks keragaman jenis (H’) sebesar 2,37 berarti Sungai Landak mengalami pencemaran air dengan kategori sedang. Hasil penelitian digunakan dalam pembuatan media film. Berdasarkan penilaian 8 validator,  didapatkan nilai rata-rata validasi materi 87,91 dan media 81,94 yang artinya film layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran pada sub materi pencemaran air kelas VII SMP. Kata Kunci: Kualitas Air, Film, Sub Materi Pencemaran Air. Abstract: This research purposed to make film from quality of water in Landak river and knowing the feasibility of film as the learning media. Type of this research was qualitative, descriptive method. The result research quality of water that Landak rivers pollution of sample test according to physics parameters (temperature) has under limit mean 28-28,33ºC and according (brightness) over the limit with price mean 0,10-0,11m. Chemical parameters (pH) 6 meaning has under limit values and the biology parameters based on presence of phytoplankton species diversity index (H') of 2.37 showed that Landak rivers pollution is in medium category. The result of this research is used to making a film. Based on the 8 validator assessment, the average value of material validation was  87,91 and media 81,94 which mean the film can be used as teaching media in sub material water pollution class VII. Abstract

Era globalisasi menuntut guru untuk beradaptasi menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi. Guru biologi di kota Pontianak sudah memanfaatkan media pembelajaran namun belum pernah menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis augmented reality (AR) dalam proses pembelajaran. Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) ini adalah untuk melakukan pelatihan pembuatan media pembelajaran biologi berbasis augmented reality dengan menggunakan assemblr EDU bagi guru di MGMP biologi kota Pontianak. Metode PKM yaitu dengan melakukan kegiatan sosialisasi, pelatihan, dan pendampingan. Peserta PKM berjumlah 20 orang guru Biologi yang tergabung dalam MGMP biologi kota Pontianak. Tahap sosialisasi, guru dijelaskan mengenai media pembelajaran biologi berbasis augmented reality. Tahap pelatihan dilakukan dengan mendemonstrasikan cara pembuatan media pembelajaran biologi berbasis augmented reality dengan menggunakan aplikasi assemblr EDU kepada guru. Tahap pendampingan, guru membuat sendiri media sesuai dengan materi yang diinginkan dan dibimbing oleh narasumber secara langsung. Setelah selesai mengikuti pelatihan ini, guru dapat membuat media pembelajaran biologi berbasis augmented reality dengan assemblr EDU dan guru dapat menggunakannya dalam pembelajaran biologi. The era of globalization requires teachers to adapt to using technology-based learning media. Biology teachers in Pontianak city have utilized learning media but have never used augmented reality (AR)-based learning media in the learning process. The purpose of this community service (PKM) is to conduct training in making augmented reality-based biology learning media using assemblr EDU for teachers at the Pontianak city biology MGMP. The PKM method is to conduct socialization, training, and mentoring activities. PKM participants numbered 20 biology teachers who are members of the Pontianak city biology MGMP. In the socialization stage, teachers were explained about augmented reality-based biology learning media. The training stage was carried out by demonstrating how to make augmented reality-based biology learning media using the assemblr EDU application to teachers. In the mentoring stage, teachers made their own media according to the desired material and were guided directly by the resource person. After completing this training, teachers can make augmented reality-based biology learning media with assemblr EDU and teachers can use it in biology learning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the needs for developing a Digital Integrated Science Test (DIST) based on Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) using Marzano's taxonomy in the topic of human organ systems for junior high school students in Pontianak. The research is part of a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the 4D model define, design, develop, and, disseminate. The focus of this article is the define phase, involving front end analysis, learner analysis, task analysis, concept analysis, and specifying instructional objectives. Data were collected through interviews, questionnaires, focus group discussions, and document analysis involving 28 science teachers and 134 eighth grade students from public junior high school in Pontianak. The findings indicate a significant gap between the ideal expectations of the Merdeka Curriculum and the actual implementation of assessments. Most teachers use low order cognitive level questions and have limited knowledge of HOTS and Marzano's taxonomy. However, both teachers and students showed high interest in digital assessments and recognized the human organ system topic as appropriate for HOTS development. These results highlight the urgent need for digital based HOTS instruments that are valid, practical, and relevant to the current curriculum. Abstract

How is Technology Positioned in the Implementation of SSI-Based Learning? Objectives: Socio-Scientific Issues (SSI)-based learning is an educational approach that combines scientific content with ethical, social, and real-world issues. This learning model is significantly influenced by technology, which enhances student engagement, facilitates access to a variety of information sources, and offers interactive and immersive experiences. This research endeavors to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the position of technology in SSI-based learning, with a particular emphasis on its functions, forms of application, and effects. Methods: The PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis) method was employed to conduct the Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Keywords associated with "Social-Scientific Issues" and "technology in education" were implemented during a literature search of Scopus-indexed journals from 2016 to 2025. The initial search identified 399 articles, which were subsequently filtered through the identification, screening, eligibility, and inclusion processes, culminating in 39 eligible articles. Articles published in English, indexed in Scopus, and specifically addressing the intersection of SSI and technology are included in the inclusion criteria. In order to investigate patterns, keyword trends, and thematic clusters, articles were subjected to bibliometric analysis using RStudio–Biblioshiny and VOS viewer. Findings: These findings categorize the role of technology in two main ways: (1) Direct implementation in SSI-based teaching, such as Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), Artificial Intelligence (AI), web-based platforms, and educational games; and (2) Integration of technology in broader pedagogical approaches, including STEM, STEAM, STS, and Computational Thinking (CT). Conclusion: Technology serves variety functions: it acts as a source of information, a collaborative tool, a platform for virtual experimentation, and a medium for communicating ideas. This review highlights the growing significance of technology in shaping effective, critical, and contextually rich SSI-based learning in the digital age. Keywords: socio-scientific issues (ssi), technology, digital application, systematic literature review.

Abstract

Adanya keterbatasan keterampilan dan juga kurangnya informasi terkait aplikasi yang dapat digunakan dalam pengembangan bahan ajar, ditambah dengan keterbatasan waktu serta begitu banyaknya tugas guru di sekolah. Pelatihan dan pendampingan menjadi salah satu cara yang dibutuhkan dalam meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam merancang Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) menggunakan live worksheets. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam menyusun dan membahas pengembangan LKPD berbasis live worksheet. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 2 Menyuke yang dihadiri oleh 22 guru sekolah menengah yang ada di Kecamatan Menyuke, Kabupaten Landak. Kegiatan ini menggunakan metode Service Learning (SL) yang melibatkan empat proses, yaitu Focus Group Discussion, pelatihan, workshop, dan pembimbingan atau pendampingan. Pengukuran peningkatan kompetensi dan pengetahuan dilakukan sebanyak dua kali, yaitu di awal untuk mengetahui kompetensi dan pengetahuan awal peserta serta dilakukan di akhir untuk mengetahui respons guru menggunakan angket evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan ini berupa peningkatan kemampuan guru dalam menyusun modul ajar berbasis live worksheet yang ditunjukkan dengan peningkatan pengukuran awal dan akhir sebanyak 50%. Seluruh peserta (100%) mengalami peningkatan skor pengukuran dan memiliki masing-masing minimal satu LKPD yang telah siap diimplementasikan dalam pembelajaran. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini berhasil dalam meningkatkan kompetensi dan pengetahuan guru dalam merancang LKPD berbasis live worksheet.

Abstract

Creativity is one of the important points in the world of education, one of which is creativity in designing creative and innovative learning activities to anticipate or answer educational challenges in the 21st century. This service activity aims to find out the ability of biology education students in preparing innovative learning plans based on the independent curriculum. The method in this service is observation and analysis of problems and needs, determination of activity schedules, core activities/training with interactive lectures, workshops, presentation discussions, and reflections. The results of the service hone students' creativity in designing learning plans, where the resulting learning planning (100%) shows conformity with the principles of the Independent Curriculum, and 85% of them show strong innovation elements. Through practice-based training, workshops, and reflective discussions, students gain concrete experience in developing teaching modules that are contextual, differentiated, and oriented towards learning outcomes and authentic assessments. This activity also has strategic implications for the development of study programs and LPTK in preparing prospective teachers who are professional, adaptive, and responsive to the dynamics of the Independent Curriculum.

Abstract

The worsening environmental crisis in the 21st century demands citizen awareness and responsibility in maintaining the balance of the ecosystem. Ecological citizenship is an approach that emphasizes the role of individuals in understanding, preserving, and managing the environment in a sustainable manner. This study aims to analyze various approaches in integrating the concept of ecological citizenship into education as well as raising public awareness. The method used is a literature study by analyzing as many as 23 scientific articles from various journals through the Google Scholar search menu on the Publish or Perish (PoP) application. The results of the study show that education plays an important role in building ecological awareness both through formal, non-formal, and community-based education. Technological approaches such as Virtual Reality (VR) and digital platforms have proven effective in increasing ecological understanding, while social movements and environmental policies have also strengthened the implementation of this concept. However, there are still challenges such as low community participation, lack of policy support, and limited resources. Therefore, a collaborative strategy is needed between governments, educational institutions, and communities to strengthen effective and sustainable ecological citizenship.
