Abstract

Spinal anesthesia can cause nausea and vomiting. It is due to the non-depolarizing effect of the drug on the spinal cord, where there are chemoreceptor trigger zone receptors. As much as 53.4% ​​of PONV in gynecological surgery using spinal anesthesia in Indonesia, and at cesarean section 60% in spinal anesthesia. One of the efforts that have been carried out is acupressure, but the incidence of PONV is still relatively high. Another intervention that can overcome PONV is the complementary intervention of sujok. This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of sujok implementation on post-surgical syndrome in patients with spinal anesthesia. This study used a true experiment with a proportional random sampling technique. Data collection involved 32 respondents divided into two groups: control and intervention groups, with 16 samples each. This study used the implementation of sujok given two times in 1 day. There was a statistically significant decrease in systolic pressure with an average decrease of 120.56 mmHg (p= 0.00), diastolic with an average decrease of 75.88 mmHg (p= 0.00), pulse with an average decrease of 71.25 x/minute (p= 0.00), respiration with an average decrease of 17.00 x/minute (p= 0.00), and PONV nausea and vomiting score with the average decrease value became 0.44 (p = 0.00) at the 28-hour observation result after being given implementation. Sujok implementation with a duration of 30 minutes, which is stimulated every 10 minutes for 3 minutes, performed at 1 hour and 24 hours after surgery, effectively reduces systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, pulse, respiration, and PONV.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the application of connectivity as a new paradigm in digital-age education, with a focus on the integration of technology for network-based learning. The problems raised are the low involvement of students in the traditional learning process and the challenges faced in implementing technology in education. The method used was a mixed approach, which included a quantitative survey of 100 students and teachers, as well as qualitative interviews with 50 teachers and 20 education administrators in different countries. The results showed that connectivity significantly increased student engagement, with 67% of students feeling more engaged when using technology. In addition, the role of teachers is transformed into facilitators who support students in the learning process, and collaboration between students has increased significantly. However, infrastructure challenges, such as the digital divide and limited access to technology, remain major obstacles, especially in developing countries. The study concludes that the application of connectivity has great potential to improve the quality of education, but there is a need for investment in infrastructure and sustainable teacher training. The suggestions provided include the development of inclusive education policies, the adjustment of learning strategies according to cultural contexts, and the need for further research to explore the long-term impact of connectivity in education.

Abstract

Bencana merupakan peristiwa yang disebabkan oleh faktor alam, non alam, dan manusia. Salah satu bencana yang paling sering terjadi terutama Ketika musim penghujan adalah bencana banjir. Beberapa daerah di Sulawesi Tengah menjadi daerah yang rawan banjir, salah satu banjir yang berbahaya adalah banjir bandang dan beberapa daerah di Sigi rawan mengalaminya termasuk desa Beka. Kejadian banjir dapat mengakibatkan penularan penyakit salah satunya adalah penularan penyakit diare terutama kondisi pasca banjir karena dapat dipengaruhi oleh kondisi sanitasi dasar kesehatan lingkungan. Kelompok rentan seperti bayi, balita, anak-anak, ibu hamil, menyusui, penyandang cacat, lansia, dan orang sakit menjadi lebih rentan terhadap dampak kesehatan akibat bencana. Oleh karena itu, tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat hubungan kejadian diare dengan sanitasi dasar bidang kesehatan lingkungan bagi penyintas bencana banjir di Desa Beka Kec. Marawola Kab. Sigi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Pengumpulan data melalui wawancara dan observasi kondisi lingkungan penyintas banjir. Pengujian hubungan dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji chi-square. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan ada hubungan antara kejadian diare dengan kebutuhan air bersih di desa Beka Kabupaten Sigi. Hasil analisis yang didapatkan dengan nilai ? Velue dari kejadian diare dan kebutuhan air bersih adalah ?=0,00, dimana nilai (?<0,05), hal ini menunjukan bahwa ada hubungan antara kejadian diare dengan kebutuhan air bersih di Desa Beka Kabupaten Sigi. Kesimpulan pada penelitian ini adalah adanya hubungan kejadian diare dengan ketersediaan air bersih di Desa Beka.

Abstract

Background: The strengthening of health behavior intentions in disaster mitigation poses an urgent challenge to be addressed. There is a need to enhance health behavior preparedness in facing disaster threats, considering that the city of Palu is located in an earthquake-prone zone and has a history of being affected by earthquakes. This research aims to study health behavior and mental health in relation to disaster vulnerability, based on a case study of Huntap in the Tondo area, Palu City, Central Sulawesi, using the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) approach. Method: The type of research used is a mixed-method approach with a sequential explanatory model. Data collection utilizes questionnaires and observation sheets, supplemented by interview methods in the qualitative approach. Result: This study shows that the chi-square test results indicate a significant relationship between attitude, subjective norms, behavioral control, and mental health (<0.05) with health behavior. Meanwhile, in-depth interviews revealed barriers to health behavior, such as respondents' attitudes towards preparedness efforts and inadequate access to information and health workers. There is a pressing need for mental health interventions to improve preparedness. Moreover, there is a need for mental health interventions to improve mental health in promoting disaster preparedness efforts. Conclusion: This study concludes that mental health related to disaster vulnerability among the Huntap Tondo community is still lacking, which will impact disaster preparedness. Mental health interventions are essential to enhance preparedness and reduce disaster-related losses. Therefore, mental health interventions are needed to enhance preparedness for disasters and take action to reduce disaster losses and damage.

Abstract

Training and mentoring in the preparation of project-based learning materials (Project-Based Learning/PjBL) which focuses on strengthening the profile of Pancasila students aims to improve the understanding and skills of teachers at SDN 1 Kaleo in implementing the independence curriculum. This program consists of several stages: socialization, training, application of e-book technology, mentoring, and evaluation involving 21 teachers. The results showed a significant increase in teachers' understanding of the Pancasila student profile from 53.8% to 95.2%, understanding of the PjBL model from 51.6% to 97.3%, and teaching materials from 54.3% to 98.3%. The introduction of e-books as an innovation in teaching materials supports independent learning, especially for students with limited school attendance. Although there were challenges in selecting relevant projects and using e-books, the focus group discussion (FGD) approach and intensive mentoring helped overcome these challenges. This training opens up opportunities for SDN 1 Kaleo to become a training model for other schools, thus expanding the positive impact of this program. Thus, this research has succeeded in increasing teachers' capacity to support the independent curriculum and forming a young generation with character according to the profile of Pancasila students.

Abstract

Radio memiliki peran strategis dalam mendukung pendidikan di wilayah dengan keterbatasan akses infrastruktur digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penggunaan media Radio Republik Indonesia (RRI) sebagai sarana penyiaran pendidikan di Pekanbaru dan Kuantan Singingi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode fenomenologi, melibatkan delapan informan yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara semi-terstruktur, observasi, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan perangkat lunak NVivo untuk mengidentifikasi tema-tema utama. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa radio memainkan peran penting dalam meningkatkan akses pendidikan di daerah terpencil, meskipun menghadapi tantangan seperti keterbatasan sinyal dan kurangnya variasi konten. Lima tema utama yang teridentifikasi meliputi peran radio dalam akses pendidikan, kualitas siaran pendidikan, efektivitas siaran terhadap kebutuhan masyarakat, tantangan teknis dan non-teknis dalam penyiaran, serta preferensi konten berdasarkan kebutuhan lokal. Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi praktis bahwa radio, dengan integrasi teknologi digital, dapat terus menjadi media pendidikan yang efektif di era digital, khususnya dengan menyesuaikan konten berdasarkan kebutuhan masyarakat lokal. Studi ini menegaskan pentingnya radio sebagai jembatan penghubung informasi pendidikan, terutama di wilayah yang sulit dijangkau oleh teknologi modern.

Abstract

The e-IPO method is to consider the allocation of the minimum number of shares to retail investors through a more transparent pooling rationing. The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of lead underwriter reputation and pooling allotment on the implementation of the new policy of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) in the Indonesian Capital Market, namely the transition from conventional IPOs to e-IPOs. This research method is quantitative using secondary data. The population used is companies that have IPOs on the IDX from 2016 - 2023. The samples used in the study are (a) Companies that have IPOs, registered with the OJK and listed on the IDX. (b) Companies that have IPOs, registered with the OJK and listed on the IDX that have complete data for the period 2016 to 2023. (c) Complete MKBD Lead Underwriter data from Companies that have IPOs and (d) complete variable data required in this study are available. The findings of this study highlight several important points: lead underwriter reputation has a significant negative effect on underpricing, lead underwriter reputation, with MKBD as a proxy, has a significant negative effect on underpricing, IPO costs have no significant effect on underpricing, IPO value has no significant effect on underpricing, assets have a significant positive effect on underpricing, firm age has no significant effect on underpricing, percentage of shares offered has a significant positive effect on underpricing, and pooling rationing has a significant negative effect on underpricing, e-IPO policy has a significant negative effect on underpricing.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the application of the philosophy of existentialism approach in learning the Indonesian language and literature among students of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program at STKIP Harapan Bima. The problem being studied is the extent to which the existentialist approach can improve students' understanding of literary works and its impact on the development of students' critical and reflective thinking skills. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, where data is collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The data analysis technique used is thematic analysis, which aims to identify the main themes that emerge from the research results. The study results show that applying the existentialism approach in learning the Indonesian language and literature can increase students' involvement in the learning process, deepen their understanding of literary works, and strengthen their ability to reflect and criticize the values contained in literature. Students also better understand existentialism themes such as freedom, responsibility, and the search for meaning in life. Overall, this research contributes to the development of an Indonesian language and literature curriculum that is more meaningful and relevant to students' lives, as well as opening up opportunities for further research in this field.

Abstract

This research focuses on analyzing the impact of using mother tongue on students. Students' interest in learning has decreased due to teachers' lack of creativity and innovation in utilizing local resources as a learning medium. The media in question is the use of language in the learning process in the classroom. The use of mother tongue as a means of communicating with students is still low by teachers, so students tend to be less than optimal in grasping the material presented by the teacher. Therefore, it is important to carry out this research to see the impact of using mother tongue to increase interest in learning for junior high school students in Bima. The aim of this research is to provide education to teachers to use mother tongue as a means of communicating with students. This research method is descriptive with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are a process of activities carried out by researchers to obtain data. In this research, researchers used non-test techniques. The results of the research show that the impact of students' use of their mother tongue both during the learning process at school and when socializing with them is both positive and negative. One of the efforts made to overcome the influences that occur due to the use of mother tongue in the school environment is by teachers at school participating in helping to provide explanations to students about the importance of mother tongue and Indonesian in the order of life.

Abstract

Assistance in the Preparation of the Strategic Plan (Renstra) is a crucial step in improving management quality at SMA Negeri 1 Palembang. The 2025–2029 Strategic Plan is designed as a strategic planning guide to ensure effective school governance in enhancing educational quality. This article discusses the process of assisting in the preparation of the Strategic Plan, the challenges encountered, and its impact on better school management. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach with document analysis and interviews with stakeholders. Previous studies have shown that assistance in developing the Strategic Plan contributes to planning efficiency, resource optimization, and strengthening management based on the National Education Standards (SNP). However, several challenges remain, such as limited facilities and infrastructure, the need to improve teacher competencies, and stakeholder participation in the implementation of the Strategic Plan. The study concludes that assistance in Strategic Plan preparation plays a significant role in improving school management quality. With systematic and data-based planning, SMA Negeri 1 Palembang can become more adaptive to change and capable of continuously improving educational quality. Synergy between the school, government, and community is a key factor in ensuring the effective implementation of the Strategic Plan.ABSTRAKPendampingan dalam penyusunan Rencana Strategis (Renstra) merupakan langkah krusial dalam meningkatkan kualitas manajemen di SMA Negeri 1 Palembang. Renstra 2025–2029 disusun sebagai pedoman perencanaan strategis guna memastikan efektivitas tata kelola sekolah dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan. Artikel ini membahas proses pendampingan dalam penyusunan Renstra, tantangan yang dihadapi, serta dampaknya terhadap pengelolaan sekolah yang lebih baik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan analisis dokumen serta wawancara dengan pemangku kepentingan. Hasil studi sebelumnya menunjukkan bahwa pendampingan dalam penyusunan Renstra berkontribusi pada efisiensi perencanaan, optimalisasi sumber daya, serta memperkuat manajemen berdasarkan Standar Nasional Pendidikan (SNP).  Namun, beberapa tantangan masih dihadapi, seperti keterbatasan sarana dan prasarana, peningkatan kompetensi tenaga pendidik, serta partisipasi stakeholder dalam implementasi Renstra. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa pendampingan dalam penyusunan Renstra berperan penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas manajemen sekolah. Dengan perencanaan yang sistematis dan berbasis data, SMA Negeri 1 Palembang dapat lebih adaptif terhadap perubahan dan mampu meningkatkan mutu pendidikan secara berkelanjutan. Sinergi antara sekolah, pemerintah, dan masyarakat menjadi faktor kunci dalam implementasi Renstra yang efektif.
