Abstract

Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan tujuan untuk menganalisis hasil jawaban tes soal PISA untuk mengukur tingkat kemampuan literasi matematika siswa berdasarkan gaya belajar siswa. Instrumen untuk mengumpulkan data siswa berupa tes PISA dan angket gaya belajar. Subjek yang dipilih untuk dijadikan subjek pada penelitian adalah 26 siswa dari kelas IX SMP Negeri 22 Medan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan pada tes PISA adalah Model Miles dan Huberman. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan pada angket gaya belajar menggunakan Skala Likert. Kesimpulan pada penelitian ini adalah (1) tingkat kemampuan literasi matematika siswa kelas IX dalam menyelesaikan soal PISA dengan gaya belajar visual, auditori, dan kinestetik di SMP Negeri 22 Medan tergolong sedang hingga rendah, (2) siswa yang tipe gaya belajar auditori lebih berpotensi dan unggul dalam hal kemampuan literasi matematika berdasarkan penyelesaian soal tes PISA dibandingkan siswa tipe gaya belajar visual dan kinestetik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh adanya temuan rendahnya kualitas kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dari hasil observasi dan tes awal yang diberikan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa melalui model Problem Based Learning berbantuan media pembelajaran Quizizz di SMAN 15 Medan. Penelitian ini penting untuk dilakukan karena kemampuan berpikir kritis diperlukan siswa untuk menganalisis masalah dari berbagai sudut pandang. Metode: Metode penelitian ini mengadopsi metodologi penelitian tindakan kelas. Hasil penelitian disajikan secara sistematis sesuai dengan fokus masalah penelitian. ¬¬Penyajian hasil penelitian dilakukan berbentuk narasi deskriptif yang diperkuat dengan tabel sehingga dalam menarik kesimpulan dan pemahaman dapat dilakukan secara mudah. Hasil dari penelitian ini diperoleh peningkatan dimana pada tes awal menunjukkan rata-rata nilai kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa adalah 62,9%, yang kemudian dilakukan upaya perbaikan dan peningkatan dalam pembelajaran pada setiap siklus. Hasil analisis menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan: pada siklus I, nilai rata-rata siswa mencapai 77,9% dengan ketuntasan klasikal 61,2%, sedangkan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 86,2% dengan ketuntasan klasikal 100%. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah setelah penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) yang diintegrasikan dengan Quizizz, kemampuan siswa kelas XI Adam Malik SMAN 15 Medan dalam mengatasi persoalan matematis meningkat signifikan.

Abstract

This community service program (PKM) is one of the activities of the Tridarma of Tinngi College. In this case, this PKM activity was carried out in one of the junior high schools in Tanjung Morawa, namely SMP IT AL IKHWAN Tanjung Morawa. The purpose of this PKM activity is to assist teachers in socializing learning media based on Acehnese culture that can be used in learning, especially for students at the junior high school level. This activity aims to enable teachers to apply Acehl culture-based learning media so that learning in the classroom is more attractive to students. This PKM activity was carried out at SMP IT AL IKHWAN Tanjung Morawa., and was attended by 12 teachers offline (face-to-face). This activity is carried out in 3 stages. The first stage introduces culture-based learning media. The second stage demonstrates the preparation of digital learning media, and the last stage allows teachers to apply learning media in the classroom. The output targets that will be achieved in PKM activities are: (1) teachers can understand Acehnese culture-based learning media, (2) improve teachers' pedagogic competence, (3) teachers can compile digital-based learning media, (4) teachers can apply learning media in the classroom, (5) increase students' interest in learning. The implementation of this PKM went smoothly because all participants were active in the PKM activities and could apply it during the learning process in the classroom.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian yang dilakukan oleh penulis adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa SMKN 1 Perbaungan. Jenis penelitian adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian yaitu siswa kelas X TSM SMKN 1 Perbaungan. Penelitian ini menggunakan tes tertulis pada materi persamaan kuadrat dengan memberikan 3 soal essay kepada siswa. Dalam hal ini peneliti melihat dari kategori tinggi, sedang, dan redah. Hasil penelitian ini adalah bahwa kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita pada materi persamaan kuadrat berdasarkan langkah polya pada indikator memeriksa kembali tergolong kurang baik dengan persentase 133,3%. Dikarenakan 1) siswa tidak teliti dalam menyelesaikan soal pada tahan ke tiga sehingga penyelesaian akhir tidak tepat dengan hasil yang didapatkan, 2) siswa tidak teliti dalam perhitungan menyelesaikan soal dan kurang baik dalam menggunakan rumus ke soal yang lain.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are 1) to analyze the influence of differentiated learning approaches based on learning styles on students' critical thinking skills and mathematical problem solving, 2) to analyze significant differences in critical thinking skills between students with different learning styles (e.g. visual, auditory, kinesthetic) after following the differentiated learning approach and 3) to analyze the influence of differentiated learning approaches tailored to students' learning styles on students' mathematical problem-solving abilities. The form of research used by the researcher is One-group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sample in this study is all students of grades VII-1, VII-2 and VII-3. Based on the results that have been carried out, it is obtained that 1) there is a significant influence between differentiation learning based on learning styles on the critical thinking ability and mathematical problem solving of students, 2) there is a significant difference in critical thinking skills between students with different learning styles after participating in differentiated learning and 3) there is a significant influence between differentiation learning that is adjusted to the learning style of students to the mathematical problem-solving ability of students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the mathematical problem solving ability of students in terms of Adversity Quotient through the application of Problem Based Learning model in class VIII SMP Negeri 2 Delitua. This type of research uses qualitative research with descriptive type. The subjects used in this study amounted to 6 students, namely 2 subjects with high ability, 2 subjects with medium ability, and 2 subjects with low ability. The data collection techniques used were observation sheets, Adversity Quotient questionnaires, problem solving ability tests, interviews and documentation. Data processing and analysis using the Miles and Huberman technique which consists of 3 stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing or verification. The results showed that the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model was effectively applied to the mathematical problem solving ability of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 2 Delitua marked by the fulfillment of all indicators of students' mathematical problem solving ability. The mathematical problem solving ability of students with the climber type in the very good category, the camper type in the good category and the quitters type in the less category.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu menganalisis kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa untuk menyelesaikan soal materi persamaan kuadrat berdasarkan serta menganalisis aktivitas pembelajaran matematika siswa SMK negeri 1 Perbaungan dengan model Problem Based Learning. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XTKJ-3 SMK Negeri 1 Perbaungan. Objek pada penelitian ini ialah tentang analisis kemampuan pemecahan masalah serta aktivitas pembelajaranr matematika dengan model Problem Based Learning di SMK Negeri 1 Perbaungan. Penelitian ini menggunakan tes pada materi Persamaan Kuadrat sebanyak 3 soal essay dan lembar observasi. Hasil yang diperoleh pada penelitian ini yaitu kemampuan siswa dalam memahami masalah, merencanakan penyelesaian, melaksanakan rencana penyelesaian serta mengecek kembali seluruh langkah tergolong kurang baik dengan persentase 48%. Disebabkan (1) siswa kurang teliti dalam menuliskan pertanda negatif pada penyelesaiannya (2) siswa kurang teliti dalam menggunakan rumus serta mengaplikasikan ke soal yang lain. aktivitas belajar siswa terlibat aktif pada memecahkan masalah yang di berikan oleh guru, peserta didik berperan aktif dalam mengemukakan pendapat penyelesaian atau merencanakan suatu permasalahan yang ada.

Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan lembar kerja siswa berbasis masalah bertujuan (1) untuk mengetahui kevalidan dan kelayakan sebagai lembar kerja siswa berbasis masalah pada materi teorema Pythagoras, (2) untuk mengetahuin respon siswa mengenai pembelajaran yang menggunakan lembar kerja siswa berbasis masalah. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu pengembangan yang mengacu pada model pengembangan Borg and Gall. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di MTs Swasta Citra Amanah sebanyak 2 pertemuan. Instrument yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah angket lembar validasi ahli untuk mengetahui bagaimana kevalidan dan kelayakan lembar kerja siswa berbasis masalah, lembar angket respon siswa digunakan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar respon siswa terhadap lembar kerja siswa terhadap lembar kerja siswa yang dikembangkan. Hasil analisis data yaitu (1) hasil validasi dan kelayakan lembar kerja siswa berbasis masalah dari 3 validator yang diperoleh rata-rata 91,25 % dengan katagori valid dan layak digunakan, (2) hasil lembar angket respon siswa dengan skor rata-rata 83,27% dengan katagori sangat baik. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa lembar kerja siswa berbasis masalah yang dikembangkan dalam penelitian ini berkualitas baik dan layak digunakan.

Abstract

Fourier series has the ability to decompose a periodic function into a collection of sine and cosine wave sums. Another way to express a function into an infinite series is with the Maclaurin series or Taylor series but both of these series require that the function must have the first derivative, the second derivative and so on of the function is defined at its expansion point and there must be no discontinuity value at that point. However, the advantage of the Fourier series is that we can decompose the function into an infinite series containing the sum of sine and cosine terms even though the function cannot be differentiated and has discontinuity at some points. The Fourier series equation of an analytical function is obtained by first finding the values ​​of the Fourier coefficients using analytical integrals. In the case of functions formed from numerical data that are assumed to have a periodic pattern, the Fourier series formula that uses analytical integrals to find its Fourier coefficients can no longer be used so that the numerical approach using the Trapezium method is an alternative that allows us to find the Fourier series equation for a periodic function expressed numerically. We use 12 points as the basis for the calculation in the Trapezium method to approximate the Fourier series numerically. This paper presents a numerical approach to solve the problem.

Abstract

The The ability to understand concepts is the ability to understand and account for an idea as well as the ability to think logically, critically, creatively and innovatively. The research objective of this study is to look at the profile of the ability to understand concepts through PjBL learning in terms of students' learning styles in understanding mathematical concepts in class VIII-A statistics material at MTs Al-Mahrus Mabar. The method used in the research is descriptive qualitative research. The research location is Jalan RPH LINK.IV Mabar Hilir Medan and the research time was carried out in the 2023/2024 academic year. The research subjects were 6 students from 22 students, where the researcher chose 2 students each with visual, auditory and kinesthetic learning styles based on the student learning style questionnaire that had been given. The researcher's data collection method used four techniques, namely observation, interviews, questionnaires and concept understanding ability tests. Data analysis is carried out by reducing data, presenting it, and drawing conclusions. The research results show that students with kinesthetic learning styles understand mathematical concepts better than students with visual and auditory learning styles. Students with a kinesthetic learning style are able to understand three of the four indicators of conceptual understanding, while students with a visual style, the same as students with an auditory learning style, are only able to understand two of the four indicators of conceptual understanding.
