Abstract

Knowledge management (KM) is an important thing to store or possess existing knowledge. The difficulty of getting knowledge that has actually been known for a long time about special planning for new information is to repair a certain position, in this case the container that contains several private universities in Palembang. The lecturer can only find out how the system discusses in the college, and many other knowledge that must be discussed by the new lecturer. Therefore the Knowledge Management System (KMS) will be built using the Inukshuk Model to become a means for existing knowledge, while the algorithm for searching knowledge stored in KMS is the Levenshtein Algorithm. The selection of the Levenshtein algorithm itself which uses this algorithm measures the relationship between strings (words to words, words to sentences and sentences to sentences) by calculating the edit distance, so that it will produce a high level of acquisition. The result is a KMS that is important for private universities to store and manage knowledge web-based services to make it easier for today's users to use many internet networks.

Abstract

The study of the classification of student graduation at a university aims to help the university understand the academic development of students and to be able to find solutions in improving the development of student graduation in a timely manner. The Naive Bayes method is a statistical classification method used to predict a student's graduation in this study. The classification accuracy can be improved by selecting the appropriate features. Particle Swarm Optimization is an evolutionary optimization method that can be used in feature selection to produce a better level of accuracy. The testing results of the alumni data using the Naive Bayes method that optimized with the Particle Swarm Optimization algorithm in selecting appropriate features, producing an accuracy value of 86%, 6% higher than the classification without feature selection using the Naive Bayes method.

Abstract

CHD is chest pain or discomfort that occurs if the area of the heart muscle does not get enough oxygen-rich blood. CHD is also known as coronary artery disease. CHD is increasing every year with a significant number of deaths. A learning algorithm is proposed to get better performance in accuracy, sensitivity, and specificity in CHD interpretation. Accuracy can be improved by adding a Kaiming He (2015) weight initialization optimization technique to the DNN structure. Therefore we propose that DNN is optimized with a Kaiming He weight initialization technique so that it can overcome weaknesses in the data variant. This is evidenced by the results of the accuracy performance of 98.73%. Initialization of kaiming he weights is proven to improve accuracy and overcome the problem of large data variants between classes

Abstract

Software defects are one of the main contributors to information technology waste and lead to rework, thus consuming a lot of time and money. Software defect prediction has the objective of defect prevention by classifying certain modules as defective or not defective. Many researchers have conducted research in the field of software defect prediction using NASA MDP public datasets, but these datasets still have shortcomings such as class imbalance and noise attribute. The class imbalance problem can be overcome by utilizing SMOTE (Synthetic Minority Over-sampling Technique) and the noise attribute problem can be solved by selecting features using Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO), So in this research, the integration between SMOTE and PSO is applied to the classification technique machine learning naïve Bayes and logistic regression. From the results of experiments that have been carried out on 8 NASA MDP datasets by dividing the dataset into training and testing data, it is found that the SMOTE + PSO integration in each classification technique can improve classification performance with the highest AUC (Area Under Curve) value on average 0,89 on logistic regression and 0,86 in naïve Bayes in the training and at the same time better than without combining the two.

Abstract

Heart disease has ranked as the leading cause of death in the world, accounting for around 17.3 million deaths per year with some causes, as high blood pressure, diabetes, cholesterol fluctuation, fatigue, and some others which is collected on dataset. Heart disease dataset that was applied is cleveland heart disease with fourteen (14) data atribute. The method that was applied in this research was using Backpropagation algorithm on heart disease classifying, where will be combined Artificial Bee Colony and k-Nearest Neighbor algorithm for features or atribute choose due to this technique can increase classifier model accuracy which is produced as much as 94,23%.

Abstract

The research instrument is used to collect data or measure the object of a study. The purpose of this study was to determine which instruments were declared valid and reliable and to find out the variables with the highest validity and reliability values. Validity testing is carried out to determine the effectiveness of an instrument, while reliability testing is carried out to show the level of reliability of the indicators used. Testing the validity and reliability using software SmartPLS version 3.3.2 with a measurement scale that is Likert scale. Validity testing is done by looking at the average variance extracted (AVE) value and the comparison of the latent variable correlations values, while reliability testing is done by looking at the composite reliability value. The population in this study were active students at the State Islamic University (UIN) Raden Fatah Palembang, totaling 19,260 students with the determination of the sample using the Slovin formula with a level of significance = 5%. Data collection in this study was carried out by distributing online questionnaires. The questionnaire was made based on indicators on the model used, where the models used were UTAUT 2 and EUCS. The UTAUT 2 model can be used to measure the level of user acceptance of the system consisting of the variables of performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions, hedonic motivation, perceived value, habit, and behavioral intention. Furthermore, the EUCS model is used to measure the level of user satisfaction which consists of content, accuracy, format, ease of use, timeliness, and user satisfaction variables. The results of the validity and reliability testing state that all indicators are valid and reliable with an AVE value > 0.50 in the validity test and the composite reliability value > 0.70 in the reliability test. The validity test with the highest value is found in the ease of use variable with an AVE value of 0.826 and reliability testing with the highest value is found in the performance expectancy variable with a composite reliability value of 0.924. With this research, it is expected to obtain variables in the model to evaluate user acceptance and satisfaction with academic information systems

Abstract

AbstractThis study discusses the delivery of information systems at the company Vira Surya Utama Palembang. PT. Vira Surya Utama Palembang is a company engaged in land transportation expedition services, aiming for freight forwarding services within the city and outside the city. Various types of goods often sent by this company are vehicle tires of various sizes, machinery and equipment, books and stationery, agricultural equipment, and grocery items. The obstacle that arises is that in recording data delivery there are often duplicate data or the same data transmission (redundant), difficulty finding the sending of recording data, the invoice recording process is still done using media such as books so that the difficulty in finding invoice data, and the slow delivery of goods that prepare reports and financial statements. Therefore, it is necessary to create and design a software system to simplify the process of recording delivery, invoicing, and preparing reports and submitting financial statements. The method used in this study is the waterfall model. In program design modeling, researchers use UML (integrated modeling language). Modeling results in the form of use case diagrams, class diagrams, activity diagrams, and sequence diagrams. While the software used is the PHP and MySql Micro Dreamweaver Web programming languages. The result of the research is that in the form of a web-based delivery system in Vira Surya Utama, Palembang is expected to be able to overcome the problems in the delivery of goods in the Vira Surya Utama Palembang company.Keywords: Information Systems, Waterfall, Delivery, UML Abstrak Penelitian ini membahas pengiriman sistem informasi pada perusahaan Vira Surya Utama Palembang.  PT. Vira Surya Utama Palembang merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang jasa ekspedisi angkutan darat, bertujuan untuk pelayanan jasa pengiriman barang didalam kota maupun diluar kota. Berbagai jenis barang yang sering dikirim perusahaan ini berupa ban-ban kendaraan dalam berbagai ukuran, mesin-mesin dan peralatan, buku dan alat tulis, alat-alat pertanian, dan barang-barang kelontongan. Kendala yang muncul adalah Dalam pencatatan data pengiriman sering ada data duplikat atau pengiriman data yang sama (redudan), kesulitan menemukan pengiriman data rekaman, proses pencatatan faktur masih dilakukan menggunakan media seperti buku sehingga kesulitan dalam mencari data faktur , dan lambatnya pengiriman barang yang menyiapkan laporan dan laporan keuangan. Oleh karena itu, perlu dibuat dan dirancang sistem perangkat lunak untuk menyederhanakan proses pencatatan pengiriman, pembuatan faktur, dan pembuatan laporan serta penyampaian laporan keuangan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model waterfall. Dalam pemodelan desain program, peneliti menggunakan UML (bahasa pemodelan terpadu). Hasil pemodelan dalam bentuk diagram use case, diagram kelas, diagram aktivitas, dan diagram urutan. Sedangkan perangkat lunak yang digunakan adalah bahasa pemrograman Web PHP dan MySql Micro Dreamweaver. Hasil penelitian yang didapat adalah dalam bentuk sistem pengiriman berbasis web di Vira Surya Utama perusahaan Palembang diharapkan dapat mengatasi permasalahan yang ada dalam pengiriman barang di perusahaan Vira Surya Utama Palembang.Kata kunci: Sistem Informasi, Air Terjun, Pengiriman, UML.

Abstract

Kualitas perangkat lunak yang dikembangkan dengan paradigma berorientasi obyek (berisi kelas) perlu ditingkatkan berkaitan dengan kemudahan perawatan dan kemudahan dipindahkan antar lingkungan (bahasa pemrograman/ aplikas/ kompilator) yang berbeda. Sementara itu terdapat teknologi dynamic link library (DLL) yang dikembangkan oleh perusahaan Microsoft untuk sarana sharing antar aplikasi terhadap fungsi yang dibuat dengan bahasa C (paradigma prosedural). Penelitian ini berusaha menjawab kebutuhan tersebut melalui kajian modularitas dan portabilitas dengan menerapkan teknologi DLL.. Metodologi penelitian ini meliputi kajian pustaka terhadap modularitas, portabilitas, DLL yang dilanjutkan dengan menerapkan hasil kajian tersebut kedalam perangkat lunak yang dikembangkan dengan Borland C++ Builder dan Borland Delphi. Dari kajian dan penerapan tersebut menghasilkan kesimpulan bahwa DLL dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan modularitas dan portabilitas perangkat lunak yang dikembangkan dengan paradigma berorientasi obyek. Peningkatan modularitas diperoleh dari karakteristik DLL yang memiliki tingkat kohesi tinggi dan kopling rendah. Peningkatan portabilitas dengan DLL dapat diperoleh dengan cara sharing kelas atau melalui sharing obyek.

Abstract

Banyak kerugian yang didapat akibat serbuan ratusan bahkan ribuan spam dan virus pada mail server. Habisnya konsumsi resource jaringan, CPU dan ruang harddisk akan mengganggu pelayanan mail server bagi suatu organisasi. Sistem yang hang atau bandwidth yang harus dibayar mahal sebagai akibat dari mail spam dan virus telah membuat banyak organisasi mengalami pemborosan yang tidak sedikit. Banyak solusi yang telah ditawarkan untuk mengatasi masalah seperti ini. Salah satunya adalah dengan menggunakan penyaring spam “Untangle Gateway”. Untangle Gateway adalah solusi jaringan berbasis open source yang telah terintegrasi dengan modul-modul untuk memfilter spam dan virus.

Abstract

Rancangan dalam makalah ini menunjukkan bahwa perangkat ESM (Electronic Support Measure) merupakan suatu perangkat pendukung militer (tentara) yang dipakai dalam peperangan elektronika (electronic warfare disingkat EW). Bagian dari perangkat ESM adalah Radio Penerima Pengarah ( Radio Directional Finder disingkat RDF) yang berfungsi untuk menerima atau memonitor spektrum gelombang radio (sinyal radio) yang dipancarkan oleh fihak musuh (foe), dengan cara mengukur besaran kuat sinyal (field strength) untuk setiap arah tertentu dari antena RDF. Besaran kuat sinyal diukur untuk setiap arah tertentu antena RDF dari sudut 00 sampai 3600, sehingga terkumpul nilai kuat sinyal untuk satu putaran antena RDF. Nilai kuat sinyal yang terbesar maka arah antena RDF tersebut merupakan arah ke pemancar musuh. RDF mempunyai kemampuan untuk mengidentifikasi, menganalisa dan menentukan arah posisi musuh.
