Abstract

Penelitian deskriptif kualitatif ini bertujuan untuk menedeskripsikan analisis pengambilan keputusan heuristik siswa dalam pemecahan masalah aljabar ditinjau dari kecemasan matematika pada siswa.  Penelitian ini dilakukan di MTS An-Nur Galuk pada siswa kelas VII. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode sampel bertujuan (Purposive Sample) yaitu pengambilan sampel dengan melihat hasil tes tulis analisis level pemahaman dengan subyek KMST1, KMST2, KMT1, KMST2, KMR1, KMR2, KMSR1, dan KMSR2. Analisis data menggunkan metode observasi, metode tes, metode wawancara, dan metode dokumentasi, serta uji keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber data (Data Triangulation) dan triangulasi metodologis (Methodological Triangulation). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh: (1) Subjek dengan tingkat kecemasan matematika sangat tinggi tidak mampu memenuhi seluruh kriteria dari masing-masing indikator pengambilan keputusan heuristik siswa. (2) Subjek dengan tingkat kecemasan matematika tinggi hanya mampu memenuhi dua kriteria dari satu indikator pengambilan keputusan heuristik siswa yaitu availability. (3) Subjek dengan tingkat kecemasan matematika rendah subjek mampu memenehui tiga indikator dari kemampuan pengambilan keputusan heuristik siswa yaitu availability, representas, dan anjustment. (4) Subjek dengan tingkat kecemasan matematika sangat rendah mampu memenuhi seluruh kriteria dari masing-masing indikator pengambilan keputusan heuristik siswa yaitu availability, representas, anjustment, dan anchouring.

Abstract

Abstract: The mathematics literacy of Indonesian students is still low. A mathematical literacy method is required to increase mathematical literacy skills. Several national and international articles have investigated various mathematical literacy strategies. As a result, the goal of this research is to present numerous mathematical literacy practices based on a review of 16 national and international studies. Data collection methods include identifying, analyzing, categorizing, classifying, and describing mathematical literacy strategies from four national and twelve international articles. The findings revealed that the types of mathematical literacy practices employed varied and did not differ between school levels. Elementary schools employ four4 types of strategies, secondary schools employ eleven11 strategies, and higher education employs 29 strategies. The content/literacy/notation area vocabulary strategy is widely utilized at three levels of education. PMRI is an approach utilized at two levels of education: primary school and secondary school. At the high school and university levels, the strategies used are connection, elaboration, control, understanding, consolidation, and visual representation. The effectiveness of the strategies discussed in these 16 articles was not evaluated specifically. The employment of strategies cannot be done in separately, but must be combined with other strategies. So multi-strategy is an effective and recommendable strategy.Keyword: effective strategy, mathematical literacy skills. Abstrak Kemampuan literasi matematika siswa Indonesia masih rendah. Strategi literasi matematika dibutuhkan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi matematika. Beberapa strategi literasi matematika banyak dikaji pada beberapa artikel nasional maupun internasional. Oleh karena itu tujuan kajian ini untuk mendeskripsikan beberapa strategi literasi matematika dari kajian pustaka 16 artikel nasional dan internasional. Metode pengumpulaan data dengan mengidentifikasi, menganalisis, kemudian mengaktegorikan, mengklasifikasi serta mendeskripsikan strategi literasi matematika dari 4 artikel nasional dan 12 artikel internasional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan jenis strategi literasi matematika yang digunakan variatif dan tidak membedakan tingkatan sekolah. Jumlah strategi yang digunakan di SD ada 4 jenis strategi, yang digunakan di Sekolah Menengah sebanyak 11 jenis strategi, dan yang digunakan di PT sebanyak 29 jenis strategi. Strategi yang sama dan banyak digunakan pada 3 tingkat pendidikan yaitu strategi kosakata area konten/ keaksaraan/ notasi. Strategi yang digunakan pada dua tingkat pendidikan sekolah dasar dan sekolah menengah seperti PMRI. Strategi yang digunakan pada tingkat sekolah menengah dan PT yakni seperti koneksi, elaborasi, kontrol, pemahaman, konsolidasi, dan representasi visual. Keefektifan strategi yang dikaji pada 16 artikel ini tidak dikaji secara spesifik. Penggunaan strategi tidak dapat dilakukan secara terpisah-pisah namun harus terintegrasi dengan beberapa strategi yang lainnya. Jadi strategi yang efektif dan dapat direkomendasikan yaitu multi-strategi.Kata kunci: strategi efektif, kemampuan literasi matematika

Abstract

Abstrak Sudah hampir 8 bulan pandemi covid mewabah di seluruh dunia, termasuk di Indonesia. Semua aktivitas pendidikan dari tingkat sekolah dasar hingga perguruan tinggi, pembelajaran dilakukan secara daring. Pembelajaran merupakan interaksi antara guru dan siswa, dalam proses ini terjadi komunikasi yang intens dan terarah untuk rangka mencapai tujuan pembelajaran. Pembelajaran yang baik memerlukan proses interaksi antar semua komponen baik antara guru dengan siswa maupun siswa dengan siswa. Salah satunya dengan menerapkan model-model pembelajaran yang inovatif. Model pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan untuk pembelajaran matematika antara lain: project based learning, daring method, luring method, home visit method, integreted curiculum, dan blended learning. Oleh karena itu, kami tim PKM akan mengkaji model pembelajaran matematika manakah yang sesuai untuk digunakan pada masa pandemi seperti yang dihadapi saat ini. Analisa data dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Pendekatan kualitatif digunakan untuk menganalisis data hasil wawancara dan observasi. Observasi dilakukan pada saat kegiatan berlangsung. Selain observasi juga dilakukan wawancara pada pengelola YKIB, di mana pengelola YKIB menjelaskan bahwa ada pengajar yang mengalami kesulitan mengajar selama pandemi. Hasil dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat adalah Guru/Tutor di Bimbingan belajar dapat menerapkan dan mengembangkan model-model pembelajaran matematika selama pandemi.    Abstract It has been almost 8 months since the Covid pandemic has spread throughout the world, including in Indonesia. All educational activities from elementary school to tertiary level, learning is done online. Learning is an interaction between teachers and students, in this process intense and directed communication occurs in order to achieve learning goals. A good learning process requires a process of interaction between all components, both between teachers and students and students and students. One of them is by applying innovative learning models. Learning models that can be used for learning mathematics include: project based learning, online methods, offline methods, home visit methods, integreted curriculums, and blended learning. Therefore, our PKM team will examine which mathematics learning model is suitable for use during a pandemic as it is currently facing. Data analysis was carried out using a qualitative approach. A qualitative approach was used to analyze data from interviews and observations. Observations were made during the activity. In addition to observations, interviews were also conducted with YKIB managers, where YKIB managers explained that there were teachers who had difficulty teaching during the pandemic. The result of community service is that teachers / tutors in tutoring can apply and develop mathematics learning models during a pandemic.

Abstract

Pelajaran matematika akan menarik dan tidak membosankan jika kita menggunakan media pembelajaran. Salah satunya yaitu memakai komputer dengan software geogebra.  Tujuan dalam PKM (Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat) adalah pelatihan dengan memanfaatkan software geogebra untuk siswa kelas XI SMA N 1 Balen Bojonegoro. Peserta pelatihan berjumlah 31 siswa kelas XI SMA N 1 Balen Bojonegoro dengan 2 pemateri. Metode pelaksanaannya adalah persiapan, pelaksanaan kegiatan, evaluasi dan pembuatan laporan. Simpulan dalam PKM ini adalah mereka sangat senang dan antusias dalam mengikuti pelatihan ini, hasil evaluasi 93,55% siswa sudah memahami serta siswa disini masih ingin diajarkan lagi aplikasi lain yang berkaitan dengan matematika  Mathematics lessons will be interesting and not boring if we use learning media. One of them is using a computer with geogebra software. The purpose of PKM (Community Service) is to provide training on the use of geogebra software for class XI students of SMA N 1 Balen Bojonegoro. The training participants were 31 students of class XI SMA N 1 Balen Bojonegoro with 2 presenters. The method of implementation is preparation, implementation of activities, evaluation and report generation. The conclusion in this PKM is that they are very happy and enthusiastic in participating in this training, the results of the evaluation of 93.55% of students have understood and students here still want to be taught other applications related to mathematics.

Abstract

ABSTRACTBased on the results of observations and interviews with classroom teachers, data were taken into account that students' interest in learning was still low and student learning outcomes were still below the KKM average. Therefore, the PKM lecturer team took the initiative to conduct community service activities by utilizing the angular hour learning media with discussion methods. Corner clock media is a learning medium made from a clock model made of plywood for students, where the clock consists of two circles with one of them larger than the other. The goal to be achieved from this PKM is to help students learn mathematics in a fun way so as to create high interest and better learning achievement. The method of implementation of this PKM program is a method of training directly to fourth grade students of elementary schools in Sukosewu State Elementary School district. Bojonegoro. The results of this PKM activity are the higher learning interest in students which can be seen from the enthusiasm of students and the increasing student achievement results. The conclusion of this PKM activity is that it can increase learning interest and sukosewu elementary school students' learning achievement results in terms of the use of corner hours (jadut) and students are easier to do math problems, especially on mathematics subjects on the subject of angle measurement.Keywords: corner clock learning media, mathematics. ABSTRAKBerdasarkan hasil observasi dan wawancara dengan guru kelas diperoh data bahwasanya minat belajar siswa masih rendah dan hasil belajar siswa masih dibawah rata-rata KKM. Oleh karena itu kami tim PKM dosen berinisiatif melakukan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat  dengan memanfaatkan media pembelajaran jam sudut dengan metode diskusi. Media jam sudut adalah media pembelajaran yang terbuat dari model jam yang terbuat dari triplek kepada siswa, dimana jam tersebut terdiri dari dua buah  lingkaran dengan besar salah satunya lebih besar dari lingkaran yang lainnya. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dari PKM ini adalah membantu siswa belajar matematika dengan cara yang menyenangkan sehingga tercipta minat yang tinggi dan hasil prestasi belajar yang lebih baik. Metode pelaksanaan pada program PKM ini yaitu metode pelatihan secara langsung kepada siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar di SD Negeri Sukosewu kab. Bojonegoro. Hasil dari kegiatan PKM ini adalah minat belajar sisiwa semakin tinggi yang dapat dilihat dari antusias siswa dan hasil prestasi belajar siswa yang meningkat. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan PKM ini adalah dapat meningkatkan minat belajar dan hasil prestasi belajar siswa SD negeri sukosewu dalam hal pemanfaatan jam sudut (jadut) dan siswa lebih mudah dalam mengerjakan soal matematika terutama pada mata pelajaran matematika pada pokok bahasan pengukuran sudut.Kata Kunci: Media pembelajaran jam sudut, matematika.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to explore the profile of learning independence and student readiness in facing the world of work which is built through MBKM activities and to describe the effect of learning independent on student readiness in facing the world of work through MBKM activities. The research method used is descriptive quantitative using a survey method to obtain data through a self-sufficiency and readiness questionnaire. The population is from students who have been subject to MBKM activities, namely as many as 365 students. The sample was selected by purposive sampling technique based on the number of students who filled out the questionnaire, namely as many as 107 people, then the number of samples was selected based on the students who took part in the MBKM as many as 47 people. Data analysis used a quantitative descriptive test and regression test. The results of the study, that the profile of learning independence and the readiness of students to face the world of work who took MBKM had a better average score than those who did not take MBKM but the difference was less significant. The level of learning independence and readiness was dominated by the medium category of 55.32% and 72.34% of 47 students. There is an influence of independent learning on student readiness in facing the world of work of 24.6%, while 75.04% is influenced by other factors. Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk menggali profil kemandirian belajar dan kesiapan mahasiswa dalam menghadapi dunia kerja yang dibangun melalui kegiatan MBKM dan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh kemandirian belajar terhadap kesiapan mahasiswa dalam menghadapi dunia kerja dengan melalui kegiatan MBKM. Metode penelitian yang digunakan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode survei untuk mendapatkan data melalui angket kemandirian dan kesiapan. Populasinya dari mahasiswa yang sudah dikenai kegiatan MBKM yakni sebanyak 365 mahasiswa. Sampel dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling berdasarkan jumlah mahasiswa yang mengisi angket yakni sebanyak 107 orang, kemudian jumlah sampel dipilih berdasarkan mahasiswa yang  mengikuti MBKM sebanyak 47 orang. Analisis data menggunakan uji deskriptif kuantitatif dan uji regresi. Hasil penelitian, bahwa profil kemandirian belajar  dan kesiapan mahasiswa menghadapi dunia kerja yang mengikuti MBKM nilai rata-rata lebih baik dengan yang tidak mengikuti MBKM namun perbedaannya kurang signifikan. Tingkat kemandirian belajar dan kesiapan  didominasi pada kategori sedang sebesar 55,32%  dan 72,34% dari 47 mahasiswa. Terdapat pengaruh kemandirian belajar terhadap kesiapan mahasiswa dalam menghadapi dunia kerja sebesar 24,6%, sedangkan 75,04% dipengaruhi oleh faktor

Abstract

One of the mathematics material that elementary school teaches is multiplication. One of the problems in the Kunci village is that there are still many elementary school students who do not understand or can’t memorize multiplication, while in school it is not possible to always multiply because of time and curriculum issues, so additional learning guidance using card game is needed. The result of community service activities is the ability of children in multiplication to increase. As many as 35 of the 40 children or 81,4% children get a score above the average in multiplication tests.Keywords: Card game, multiplication

Abstract

This paper explored the implementation of educational technology as an innovative approach to improve student learning achievement within the context of the Merdeka curriculum. The study focused on the past experiences and outcomes of integrating educational schools successfully utilized online learning platforms and mobile applications to enhance student engagement, motivation, and learning outcomes. Online learning was introduced, providing students with easy access to learning materials and resources. Teachers were trained to utilize the platform and effectively provide online support to students. The implementation of the platform resulted in increased student engagement, motivation, and the flexibility to adapt learning to their own pace. The application facilitated independent and collaborative learning, enabling students to interact with teachers and classmates; implementing the mobile application led to improved student motivation, engagement, and overall learning achievement. The findings from these highlights the significance of adequate technological infrastructure, teacher training, integration of technology into lesson plans, and regular evaluation for effective implementation. These factors contribute to enhancing student learning achievement in the Merdeka curriculum era.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the assimilation-accommodation process on a proportion topic. The descriptive qualitative approach was utilized to elucidate the assimilation-accommodation process. Data collection was accomplished using assessments administered to 13 students online and 7 students offline. The participants were chosen from a pool of twenty students based on their classification of procedural predictions of mathematical connection indicators. Six research subjects were selected from seven students who satisfied the expected indications of assimilation, accommodation, and assimilation-accommodation, with each category two students having the identical work. Additionally, data are gathered through tests and interviews that have been triangulated for source and method validity. The findings indicated the first two subjects demonstrate the assimilation process through the phases of proportion concept knowledge taught in primary school. This is shown by how the problem is solved, which begins with formulating the symbolic form proportion formula in variables. In proportion, the following two subjects demonstrate the accommodation process by converting their knowledge into different types of formula produced by assimilation groups, which is in the form of numbers. This is shown by how the problem is solved by immediately writing the answer into the proportion form without using another variable symbol. Meanwhile, the accommodation-assimilation process indicate a proclivity for modifying prior information by dividing proportion formula into different solution procedures from the assimilation and accommodation groups, i.e., in mixed form (some symbols and some numbers). The findings of this study indicate that the assimilation-accommodation process can aid in the acceleration of problem solutions in new materials.

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan dari Penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan koneksi matematis secara prosedural siswa SMP pada materi persamaan linier satu variabel. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini di laksanakan di SMP Negeri I Soko dengan jumlah 32 siswa pada kelas VII, kemudian ditetapkan 6 subjek penelitian yang terdiri dari 2 subjek kategori tinggi, 2 subjek kategori sedang dan 2 subjek kategori rendah. Instrumen pada penelitian ini merupakan instrumen tes dan pedoman wawancara. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa secara prosedural kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa pada subjek kategori tinggi dapat memenuhi indikator persamaan linier satu variabel, untuk subjek kategori sedang dapat memenuhi indikator persamaan linier satu variabel tetapi tidak mengerjakan soal hingga selesai karena kurangnya teliti dan subjek kategori rendah tidak dapat memenuhi indikator persamaan linier satu variabel. Kata kunci: Koneksi Matematis; Koneksi Prosedural; Persamaan Linier Satu Variabel Abstract: The purpose of this study was to describe the procedural mathematical connection abilities of junior high school students in the matter of one-variable linear equations. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research. This research was carried out at SMP Negeri I Soko with a total of 32 students in class VII, then 6 research subjects were determined consisting of 2 subjects in the high category, 2 subjects in the medium category and 2 subjects in the low category. The instruments in this study were test instruments and interview guides. The results of this study are that procedurally the mathematical connection abilities of students in the high category subject can fulfill the one-variable linear equation indicator, for medium-category subjects can fulfill the one-variable linear equation indicator but do not complete the problem due to lack of thoroughness and low category subjects cannot meet the indicators of one variable linear equationKeywords: Mathematical Connection, Procedural Connection, One Variable Linear Equation
