Abstract

Penelitian hibah ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan instrumen pengukur hasil belajar yang nirbias dan terskala baku yang digunakan dalam beberapa mata pelajaran di SMA dan atau SMP. Jenis penelitian ini adalah research and development (R&D) yang dilakukan selama dua tahun. Hasil penelitian tahun pertama dihasilkan draf instrumen pengukur hasil belajar yang nirbias dan terskala baku. Tahun kedua, diseminasi draf instru-men pengukur hasil belajar yang dihasilkan tahun pertama ke beberapa guru Matematika SMA dan SMP di Provinsi DIY dan Jawa Tengah. Setelah direvisi, instrumen disosialisasikan ke be-berapa guru Matematika SMA dan SMP di Provinsi DIY, Jawa Tengah dan NTB.Kata kunci: instrumen yang nirbias dan terskala baku______________________________________________________________DEVELOPING UNBIASED AND STANDARDIZED INSTRUMENTS FOR STUDENT ACHIEVEMENTS IN HIGHSCHOOLS Abstract The purpose of this research is to develop unbiased and standardized instruments to measure student achievements that can be used for several subject matters in senior high schools and junior high schools. This was a research development study carried out in two years. The result of this research in the first year was a draft of an unbiased and standardized instuments for student achievements. In the second year, the draft of the unbiased and standardized instruments was disseminated to several mathematics teachers in senior high schools and junior high schools in the provinces of Yogyakarta Special Territory and Central Java. After the revision, the instruments were disseminated again to mathematics teachers in senior high schools and junior high schools in the provinces of Yogyakarta Special Territory, Central Java, and Nusa Tenggara Barat. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui banyaknya dimensi perangkat tes UAN Matematika tahun 2003, 2005, dan 2006. Dalam penelitian ini, yang dimaksud dengan dimensi adalah subkemampuan yang ada dalam kemampuan matematik. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif eksploratif. Data utama penelitian ini adalah respon siswa peserta Ujian Akhir Nasional yang ada di Provinsi D.I. Yogyakarta. Jumlah lembar jawaban siswa yang dianalisis sebanyak 2700 untuk tahun 2003, 3400 untuk tahun 2005, dan 3020 untuk tahun 2006. Respon siswa diambil dari SMP kelompok tinggi, sedang, dan rendah. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis faktor eksploratori, kemudian diestimasi banyaknya muatan dimensi/faktor dalam perangkat tes. Disimpulkan bahwa perangkat tes UAN Matematika tahun 2003, 2005, dan 2006 mengukur 3 dimensi subkemampuan yakni aljabar, geometri, dan pengukuran. Perangkat tes tersebut, hanya mampu menjelaskan sekitar 35% atau sekitar sepertiga varians kemampuan matematika siswa. Terkait dengan hal ini, pengembang tes UAN mata pelajaran matematika perlu mengusahakan agar menambah faktor dan variasi tingkat kesulitan butir tes, sehingga tes lebih dapat menjelaskan variansi kemampuan peserta tes. Sebaliknya bagi praktisi, sebaiknya memanfaatkan hasil penelitian ini untuk umpan balik dalam pembelajaran matematika di sekolah.Kata kunci: validasi dimensionalitas

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengevaluasi SMA INS Kayutanam dan (2) menyusuan strategi pengembangan SMA INS Kayutanam berdasarkan hasil evaluasi tersebut. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah 50 siswa kelas X dan XI, satu kepala sekolah, empat wakil kepala sekolah, 30 guru, dua pembina asrama dan dua orang dari pemerintahan. Hasil penelitian dibagi dalam dua kelompok yaitu hasil evaluasi dan strategi pengembangan. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi ditemukan bahwa ada beberapa komponen yang perlu perbaikan yaitu kurikulum, kompetensi pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan, fasilitas, peran serta masyarakat, dana dan organisasi. Strategi pengembangan terdiri dari: (1) perumusan kurikulum terintegrasi yang memuat tujuan dan sasaran pendidikan yang diprakarsai oleh Sjafei; (2) perumusan metode mengajar yang sesuai dengan tujuan dan sasaran pendidikan yang diprakasai Sjafei; (3) pengelolaan aset produktif dengan pemanfaatan modal sosial; (4) pemanfaatan basis alumni; (5) membangun kerja sama dengan instansi terkait seperti sekolah lain, pemerintah daerah, dan pihak swasta.Kata kunci: evaluasi, strategi pengembangan THE EVALUATION AND THE STRATEGY FOR DEVELOPING INDONESISCH NEDERLANDSCHE SCHOOL (INS) KAYUTANAM SENIOR HIGH SCHOOLAbstractThe study was to: (1) evaluate the development of INS Kayutanam Senior High School; and (2) design the strategy to develop INS Kayutanam Senior High School based on the results of the evaluation. The approach used of in the study was quantitative and qualitative. The data source in the study was 50 students from the X grade and the XI grade, one principal, four vice principals, 30 teachers, two dormitory advisors and two government representatives. The results of the study were divided into two groups namely the evaluation results and the development strategies. Based on the results of the study, the researcher found that there were several components that demanded revision namely the curriculum, the educator and educational staff competence, the facility, the society participation, the fund and the organization. Then, the development strategies consisted of: (1) formulating an integrated curriculum that contained the educational objectives and targets that had been provided by Sjafei; (2) formulating the teaching methods that had to be in accordance with the educational objectives and targets that had been provided by Sjafei; (3) managing the productive assets by utilizing the social capital; (4) utilizing the alumni basis; and (5) establishing partnership with the related institutions such as other schools, regional governments and private sectors.Keywords: evaluation, development strategies

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan model assessment as learning (model-AaL) untuk meningkatkan kompetensi siswa pada pembelajaran akuntansi di SMK. Pengembangan model asesmen ini mengadaptasi model pengembangan Hopkin & Clark, yang terdiri atas dua tahap, yaitu: (1) tahap penelitian, dan (2) tahap pengembangan. Tahap penelitian meliputi: penelitian pendahuluan, studi hasil penelitian, analisis komponen model, penyusunan prototipe model. Tahap pengembangan meliputi: validasi model oleh pakar dan praktisi, melatih guru menggunakan model, uji coba model terbatas dan diperluas disertai evaluasi. Subjek penelitian adalah guru akuntansi dan siswa kelas X kompetensi keahlian akuntansi SMK. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, kuesioner, pengamatan, dan tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik analisis deskriptif dan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis perkembangan (repeated measures analysis) dan paired samples t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, bahwa: (1) ada enam komponen yang harus ada pada Model-AaL untuk meningkatkan kompetensi akuntansi siswa pada pembelajaran akuntansi di SMK, yaitu: tujuan, tugas terstruktur, asesmen diri, asesmen teman sejawat, pengamatan aktivitas siswa, dan umpan balik; dan (2) model-AaL efektif dapat meningkatkan kompetensi akuntansi siswa pada pembelajaran akuntansi di SMK, dengan nilai p (Sig) < α (0,05).Kata kunci: model-AaL, kompetensi siswa, dan pembelajaran akuntansi DEVELOPING A MODEL OF "ASSESSMENT AS LEARNING OF ACCOUNTING LEARNING" AT VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOLSAbstractThe objective of this study is to develop model of assessment as learning (model-AaL) to improve the students' competencies in the Accounting learning at Vocational High Schools. It adapted the model claimed by Hopkin & Clark, consisting of two phases, namely: (1) research and (2) development. The former included preliminary research, study of the research results, analysis of the model components, and the arrangement of model prototype. The latter, comprised model validation by experts and practitioners, teacher training for using the model, limited and extended model experimentations accompanied with evaluation. The subjects of the research were the Accounting teachers and the students in Grade X of the Accounting Expertise Program of Vocational High Schools. The data of the research were gathered through in-depth interview, questionnaire, observation, and test. They were then analyzed by using the qualitative approach with the descriptive analysis technique and the quantitative approach with the analysis techniques of repeated measures analysis and paired samples t-test. The results of the research show that: (1) the model-AaL consists of six components, namely: objective, structured task, self-assessment, peer assessment, observation on student's activities, and feedback; and (2) the model-AaL can effectively improve the students' competencies in Accounting learning at Vocational High Schools, with a value of p (Sig) < α (0.05).Keywords: model-AaL, students' competencies, accounting learning

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop and describe the quality and characteristics of an assessment instrument of by name of Qirāatul Kutub. This development research is based on Borg & Gall model. The steps of the development were (1) planning, (2) primary developing product, (3) preliminary field testing, (4) main field testing, and (5) final product revision. The subjects for preliminary field testing were 28 testees for performance test instrument and 96 testees for grammar mastery test derived from students of Darul Huda Islamic Boarding School, whereas the subjects for main field testing were 80 students for performance test instrument and 425 students for grammar mastery test. The research instruments were assessment instrument of Qirāatul Kutub which consisted of performance assessment instrument and grammar mastery essay test, observation and interview guide. The research data were analyzed based on Rasch Model. The results showed that: (1) the results of the development were 12 items of the performance test and 17 items of the grammar mastery test which were fit with the proposed model, (2) the item difficulty of the performance test ranged from -1.32 to 0.99, while for the grammar mastery test from -1.13 to 1.01; (3) the person reliability for the performance test was 0.86, item reliability was 0.97, and Cronbach's alpha value was 0.97. The grammar mastery test has person reliability 0.97 and item reliability 0.99 with Cronbach's alpha 0.90; (4) based on the test information function (TIF) and Standard Error of Measurement (SEM), the instruments were found to be good; the performance test and the grammar mastery test were suitable for learners with ability masteries between -4 and 4.

Abstract

Since the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus hit Indonesia, the Work from Home Policy of working, studying, and worshiping at home has been implemented to reduce community activities outside the home. To maintain students’ academic performance in remote lecturing during the COVID-19 Pandemic, it needed a strategy to plan, monitor, and evaluate academic progress. The study aimed to investigate the Self-Regulated Learning (SRL) strategy in remote lecturing. The research design used was a survey method with a quantitative approach. The subjects of this study numbered 209 higher university students by using the convenience sampling technique. The data collection technique used was the SRL scale developed by Zimmerman. The scale was inputted into Google Form, then distributed online. The Aiken index validity and reliability using Cronbach Alpha showed good validity and high reliability. The data analysis techniques were descriptive statistics, MANOVA and ANOVA. The findings showed that the Self-Control indicator was the most dominant factor among students. Besides, there was no significant difference simultaneously between men and women and inconclusive results related to gender in SRL in the distance lecturing implementation.

Abstract

This study examines the quality and features associated with studying six study programs. It examines the quality of FITK in IAIN Surakarta with respect to  their readiness to prepare professional teachers to teach students internalized Islamic values.  The methodology adopted in carrying out this research study is the descriptive quantitative with no treatment design using 196 participants. Data was collected using Delta Internal Quality Assurance derived to evaluate Islamic higher education institutions.  The instrument consisted of 10 sets of questionnaires, 7 evaluation dimensions, and 477 questionnaire items.  The results obtained, show that all six study programs receive very good quality in seven dimensions, namely: vision and mission, curriculum, competency of lecturers and staffs, infrastructure and facilities, teaching learning process, student development supervisory, and graduate competency. Similarly, it showed that FITK being the institution’s umbrella, also has good reputation with seven dimension.  From the analysis obtained, both FITK and the six study programs are ready to produce Islamic professional teachers as indicated by the graduate competency.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran pelaksanaan pembelajaran dan penilaian pada mata pelajaran pemesinan bubut selama masa pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survei. Data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini berasal dari dua guru mata pelajaran pemesinan bubut dan siswa kelas XI Teknik Pemesinan sejumlah 85 siswa. Teknik pengambilan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, angket, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dan pembahasan data penelitian diperoleh bahwa proses pembelajaran di SMK N 1 Gombong berjalan dengan baik dan didukung dengan fasilitas praktik yang baik. Berdasarkan pendapat siswa dihasilkan bahwa pihak sekolah sudah sangat baik dengan melaksanakan praktik secara langsung, tetapi waktu yang singkat pada saat praktik menjadi kurang efektif untuk kompetensi membubut yang siswa peroleh. Pelaksanaan penilaian yang dilakukan oleh guru dibagi menjadi tiga tahap, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan pengolahan nilai. Berdasarkan data, analisis, dan pembahasan, ketiga tahapan penilaian sudah masuk kategori sangat baik.

Abstract

This paper focuses on performance tests (performance tests) in the assessment of the Tahsin al-Qur'an certification exam using one rater in each assistance group. The assessment process that involves a rater on a performance test (performance test) has a great chance of giving birth to inconsistencies in giving rater assessments to different individuals with the same ability. This paper tries to solve this problem by developing instruments for two or more rater. This compilation process uses a quantitative analysis with generalizability theory approach and uses the help of the EduG version 6.1 program. This study shows that the examination of the tahsinul quran assessment instrument is said to be valid with aiken index value> 0.67 on each indicator. The reliability test on this instrument shows the reliability coefficient value> 0.80 for both limited and large sample trials. Based on these things, the assessment instrument of tahsinul quran can be said to be valid and reliable to measure the tahsin al-quran, and can minimize the subjectivity of the rater in making an assessment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini di bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) kompetensi mahasiswa STKIP PGRI Pontianak dalam kegiatan PPL di SMK, SMA, SMP se Kota Pontianak; (2) pengaruh praktik persekolahan terhadap kompetensi mahasiswa STKIP PGRI Pontianak sebagai calon guru; (3) pengaruh rencana pembelajaran terhadap kompetensi mahasiswa STKIP PGRI Pontianak sebagai calon guru; (4) pengaruh pelaksanaan pembelajaran terhadap kompetensi mahasiswa STKIP PGRI Pontianak sebagai calon guru; (5) pengaruh secara bersama-sama antara praktik persekolahan, rencana pembelajaran, dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran terhadap kompetensi mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa (1) kompetensi pedagogik, kepribadian, sosial, termasuk kategori cukup dan kompetensi profesional termasuk kategori baik;(2) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara praktek persekolahan terhadap kompetensi mahasiswa sebagai calon guru dengan nilai R2 = 0,515; p= 0,000; (3) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara rencana pembelajaran terhadap kompetensi mahasiswa sebagai calon guru dengan nilai R2 =0,272; p=0,000; (4) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara pelaksanaan pembelajaran terhadap kompetensi mahasiswa sebagai calon guru dengan nilai R2 = 0,515; p= 0,000; dan (5)terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara praktik persekolahan, rencana pembelajaran, dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran secara bersama-sama terhadap kompetensi mahasiswa sebagai calon guru dengan nilai R2 = 0,931. Prediksi perubahan Y ditunjukan oleh persamaan garis regresiY = 9,463 + 0,759X1 + 0,819X2 +0,763X3. FIELD EXPERIENCE PRACTICE AND ITS IMPACT ON STUDENT'S COMPETENCIES PROGRAM INFORMATION AND COMPUTER ENGINEERINGAbstractThis research aims to determine: (1) the achievement of student's competence in activities of STKIP PGRI Pontianak Practice Experience (PPL) in vocational, high school, junior high school Pontianak City; (2) the correlation betwen schooling practice and student's competency at STKIP PGRI Pontianak as prospective teachers; (3) correlation betwen the competence of the student and lesson plans STKIP PGRI Pontianak as prospective teachers; (4) correlation betwen student's competence and learning implementation STKIP PGRI Pontianak as prospective teachers; and (5) jointly correlation between schooling practices, lesson plans, and implementation of student's learning and student's competency. These results indicate that (1) pedagogic competence, personality, social, and professional categories each including moderate, moderate, moderate, and good respectively, (2) there is a positive and significant correlation between schooling practices and student's competence with values R2 = 0.515; p = 0.000; (3) there is a positive and significant correlation between competence lesson plan and student's with a value of R2 = 0.272; p = 0.000; (4) there is a positive and significant correlation between the implementation of learning with student's competence with a value of R2 = 0.515; p = 0.000; and (5) there is a positive and significant correlation between schooling practices, lesson plans, and implementation of learning together and the competence of student'ss as prospective teachers with a value of R2 = 0.931. The predicted change in Y is indicated by the regression line equation Y = 9.463 + 0,759X1 + 0,819X2 + 0,763X3.
