Abstract

Commitment is a crucial quality that educators need to possess in their work environment. Organizational commitment is one of the factors that can impact the quality of work, particularly when it comes to determining the discipline of teachers' work. Therefore, in order to maintain the excellence of schools in the eyes of the community, this must be implemented correctly by teachers with support from the schools. Surveys and documentation studies were used as data gathering methods. Forty instructors received questionnaires with a linkert scale consisting of five possible answers. With the use of SPSS, the data were processed and examined using correlation analysis, coefficient of determination, and basic linear regression analysis. The statistical testing of correlation analysis tests produced a r count of 0.6. Test indicates that organizational commitment has an impact on teachers' work discipline. Moreover, organizational commitment is impacted by the coefficient of determination calculation to the tune of 40%, other factors not included in this study account for 60% of the total. Therefore, teachers' organizational commitment is sufficient to have a maximum impact on their work discipline in carrying out their duties and obligations.

Abstract

Pendidikan sangat penting dan mendasar dalam kehidupan manusia, salah satunya adalah pendidikan anak usia dini. Tahap ini sangat penting dalam pertumbuhan anak. Anak-anak mulai belajar menjadi lebih mandiri, seperti mampu melakukan tugas sehari-hari sendiri dan mengambil keputusan. Hal ini memberi kesempatan untuk membentuk sikap mandiri pada anak. Membangun kemandirian perlu dimulai sejak usia dini karena merupakan bagian dari tugas pertumbuhan anak. Kemandirian bisa dikembangkan dengan berbagai cara, salah satunya adalah metode Montessori. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas penerapan metode Montessori dalam mengembangkan kemandirian anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Muslimat Khodijah 124 Benelanlor. Metode Montessori digunakan karena disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan dan minat anak, di mana anak diberi kesempatan untuk melakukan aktivitas secara mandiri, dan pembelajaran berpusat pada anak. Nilai kemandirian pada anak bisa diajarkan melalui kegiatan sehari-hari, sehingga anak bisa bebas melakukan apa yang diperlukan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan metode pre eksperimental design pretest- post test one group design. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan efektivitas metode montessori dalam mengembangkan kemandirian anak di TK Muslimat Khodijah 124 Benelanlor berjalan sangat baik, mulai dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, hingga evaluasi pembelajaran. Lingkungan sangat penting dalam membentuk karakter mandiri anak, terutama lingkungan Montessori yang mampu merangsang kemampuan anak untuk mandiri. Kemampuan anak dalam memilih, menentukan, dan merencanakan kegiatan sendiri sesuai dengan kemampuan dan minat mereka menunjukkan efektivitas penerapan metode Montessori dalam membentuk karakter mandiri.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the literacy skills of children aged 4–5 years through the use of Wooden Puzzle media at KB Bintang Harapan. The method used was Classroom Action Research (CAR), conducted in two cycles including planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The participants consisted of 7 children. The results showed a significant improvement in children’s literacy skills. In the pre-cycle stage, none of the children achieved mastery (0%). In Cycle I, literacy mastery increased to 60% (4 children). In Cycle II, all children mastered the literacy indicators (100%). These findings demonstrate that the Wooden Puzzle media effectively enhances children’s interest and provides concrete learning experiences, thus successfully improving early childhood literacy skills.

Abstract

The general purpose of this research is to improve children's language literacy skills through the application of interactive and enjoyable singing methods using alphabet card media. The specific objectives of this research are to improve children's ability to recognize letters, expand their vocabulary, understand song content, and practice listening and speaking skills through musical activities. The research method used was Classroom Action Research (CAR) with the Kemmis and McTaggart model, which consists of four stages: planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The research was conducted in two cycles, with 13 children aged 3-4 years in the Insan Cendekia Playgroup for the 2025/2026 academic year as the research subjects. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and field notes, then analyzed descriptively qualitatively and quantitatively. The expected outcomes of this research are the improvement of children's language literacy skills through the singing method using alphabet card media, the increased creativity of teachers in designing music-based learning, and the development of a practical guide for applying the singing method to improve early childhood literacy. The results of this research are expected to contribute to the development of active, fun, and meaningful PAUD learning.
