Abstract

This study aims to determine the cognitive ability of mathematics in the fraction count operation material using the online mathematics learning video system in class V of Elementary School No. 34 / I Lotus. The test was conducted to determine the students' cognitive abilities. There were 14 students out of 28 students who collected the test results. Based on the data analysis, it was found that the cognitive abilities of students in the high category were 6 students, while in the low category were 8 students. The results of the students 'high cognitive mathematics abilities were 50% and the students' low cognitive abilities were 50%. The results of observations from this study concluded that the students' lack of activeness during online learning using video lessons. This can be seen from the number of students who collected test results as many as 14 students out of 28 students. It can be concluded that students' cognitive mathematical abilities during online learning have different abilities. This can be seen from the level of student ability from the results of the tests carried out.Keyword: Cognitive Ability, Mathematics, Count Fraction Operations

Abstract

Abstrak. Berdasarkan keterangan yang didapatkan melalui kepala sekolah SDN 111/I Muara Bulian diperoleh informasi bahwa: terdapat guru yang kesulitan mengurus kenaikan pangkat dari Iva ke IVb. Hal ini dikarenakan belum memiliki karya tulis ilmiah berupa PTK. Melihat permasalahan tersebut maka perlu dilakukan Pelatihan Penulisan Penelitian Tindakan. Adapun yang menjadi tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk membantu guru dalam memahami serta mampu menulis penelitian tindakan kelas dengan baik dan benar. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini diikuti sebanyak 27 orang guru. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan metode workshop, dengan tahapan: 1) Sosialisasi, 2) Pelaksanaan Kegiatan, 3) Penilaian. Hasil yang dicapai dari pelatihan ini yaitu pelatihan penulisan penelitian tindakan kelas diikuti oleh majelis guru SDN 111/I Muara Bulian dengan antusias, guru dapat mengenali permasalahan yang ada di kelas serta mencari sebuah cara atau tindakan mengatasi permasalahan tersebut berdasarkan kajian teori maupun pertimbangan karakteristik peserta didik, sebagian besar guru mampu melakukan dan menulislaporan PTK. Abstract: Based on information obtained through the principal of SDN 111/I MuaraBulian, information was obtained that: there are teachers who have difficulty managing promotions from IVa to IVb. This is because they do not have a scientific paper in the form of PTK. Seeing these problems, it is necessary to conduct Action Research Writing Training. The purpose of this service activity is to help teachers understand and be able to write classroom action research properly and correctly. This community service activity was attended by 27 teachers. This activity is carried out with anworkshop method, with the following stages: 1) Preliminary survey. 2) Training for making classroom action research proposals. 3) Guidance on the implementation of classroom action research 4). Seminar on the results of classroom action research. Based on the classroom action research training that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the classroom action research writing training was attended by the assembly of teachers at SDN 111/I MuaraBulian enthusiastically, the teacher was able to identify problems in the classroom and look for a way or action to overcome these problems based on theoretical studies and Considering the characteristics of students, then the teacher is able to compile a CAR report which is used as an improvement in the learning process in the classroom and becomes the material for credit scores for teacher promotion.

Abstract

Home-school partnerships is defined as the collaboration between family and school and to improve students' achievement. Even though many empirical researches have been published in the area of educational management, important gaps in this study in regards toward the analysis in the developing countries including Indonesia. This study utilized interviews with Indonesian school principals in exploring their perspectives and practices of home-school partnership in Indonesian elementary education. The participants were six elementary school principals from six Indonesia elementary schools. The study informs that Indonesian elementary school principals have perceptions which are consistent towards the importance roles of home-school partnership. Besides, they inform the implementation of home-school partnership; however, a parent-teacher association is not established. The school principals involved in this study also informed that parents’ lack of knowledge and insufficient time as the two barriers from home-school relationship. Recommendation and suggestion are offered to tackle the barriers. The results of the study suggest the improvement of training for teachers to build communication with parents various backgrounds of culture and experiences are needed.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the teacher's strategy in learning multiplication of student multiplication in class III C SD Negeri 19 / IV Jambi City. This research was conducted at the 19 / IV Public Elementary School in Jambi City in the even semester of the 2019/2020 school year. This research was a phenomenological research with a qualitative approach. The qualitative approach in this study uses interview and documentation instruments using the Miles and Huberman technique. Data analysis is performed by data reduction, data presentation, and data vertification and conclusions. The data obtained in the form of qualitative data that contains a description of the results of interviews with teachers about the teacher's strategy in learning the multiplication of students in class III C SD Negeri 19 / IV Jambi City. The results showed that the teacher used several learning strategies including learning strategies that were centered on the instructor, learning strategies that were centered on students, heuristic or kuriorstic learning strategies, induction learning strategies. Then the obstacle encountered by the teacher is related to multiplication counting which is difficult to memorize multiplication, the child who has difficulty counting multiplication, the teacher will order the child to repeat his memorization again.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu mendeskripsikan analisis iklim sekolah melalui peran lingkungan fisik dan lingkungan sosial dalam mendukung proses pembelajaran di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 34/I Teratai, Kecamatan Muara Bulian. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. teknik pengunpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi dan wawancara. Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah wali kelas dan siswa kelas IV, V dan VI. Simpulan penelitian yaitu iklim sekolah dalam mendukung proses pembelajaran pada aspek lingkungan fisik, sumber daya, kenyamanan, lingkungan social, rasa tanggung jawab, kerjasama, semangat kebersamaan, kesetiaan, dan keadilan telah diimplementasikan dengan sangat baik oleh pihak sekolah. Keberadaan iklim sekolah melalui lingkungan fisik dan lingkungan sosial sekolah sangatlah berperan dalam mendukung proses pembelajaran, yang pada akhirnya berdampak pada kualitas dan karakter sekolah.

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui penggunaan metode pemecahan masalah dalam meningkatkan rasa ingin tahu siswa pada pembelajaran matematika materi pecahankelas V C di SD Negeri 34 / I Teratai. Terdiri dari tiga siklus, dimana data yang diambil yaitu berupa data observasi melalui lembar observasi rasa ingin tahu siswa yang dilakukan pada tiap proses pembelajaran menggunakan metode pemecahan masalah. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan 4 tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan penggunaan metode pemecahan masalah dapat meningkatkan rasa ingin tahu siswa kelas V C di SD Negeri 34 / I Teratai. Berdasarkan lembar hasil rekapitulasi persentase rasa ingin tahu siswa menunjukkan adanya peningkatan, terbukti dari siklus I rasa ingin tahu siswa 63,54% meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 66,67% dan meningkat lagi pada siklus III menjadi 84,89%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, maka dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa metode pemecahan masalah dapat meningkatkan rasa ingin tahu siswa kelas V C di SD Negeri 34/I Teratai. Kata kunci : Rasa Ingin Tahu, Pemecahan Masalah, Pembelajaran Matematika

Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this study is to find out the difficulties of any difficulties experienced by students and what factors influence it. The procedure of this study uses a qualitative approach, the place of research in Elementary School Teacher Education FKIP Jambi University. The study population was 261 students. The sample of this study 15% with random sampling technique. Data was taken through observation, tests, questionnaires and interviews. Data analysis is done by studying, arranging, synthesizing, looking for patterns and finding what is systematically meaningful. The results of the study only 20% of students reached KKM 75 / B + passed the test because: (1) students had difficulty understanding basic geometry concepts (2) students had difficulty in using the formula (3) routine students in understanding the connectedness of each build and 4 ) Difficult students solve questions that are mixed with application stories that require analysis. While the factors that influence it are (1) the basic ability of students to mathematics is still low (2) learning motivation is still low (3) low learning readiness (4) the availability of books / references that are minimal (5) lack of trying to solve complicated / reasoning questions . Conclusion of Research, that students have difficulty learning in geometry material, and the determining factor is the lack of readiness and seriousness of students in solving these difficulties. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in the character of student learning responsibilities by using snake ladder game media in class III mathematics subjects at SD Negeri 13/1 Bulu. This research method is class action research. In this research has three cycles, in one cycle carrying out two meetings. The procedures of this research are four, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The results of this study showed that in the first cycle teacher activity reached 66.66%, student activities in playing snakes and ladders reached 66.66% and student learning responsibilities in this cycle reached 50.66%. while the second cycle of teacher activity reached 100%, student activity in performing snake play ladder 88.88%, and student learning responsibilities 68.96%. in the second cycle it has experienced an increase but has not reached the established criteria. Then continued in the third cycle with the percentage of teacher activity 100%, student activity 100% and student learning responsibilities have reached 81.8%. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that the use of snake ladder game learning media in the eyes of third grade mathematics learning at SDN 13/1 Muara Bulian can improve the character of student learning responsibilities.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui implementasi PDS dalam meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam manajemen Kelas di kelas II SDN No 53/IX Muaro Jambi. Kegiatan PDS ini dilaksanakan di SDN No 53/IX Muaro Jambi, Pada kelas dua dengan pola pembelajaran tematik. Jenis Penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik Pengumpulan Data menggunakan observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam kegiatan PDS secara umum adalah tersusunnya perangkat pembelajaran secara baik dan benar, Secara khusus yang terfokus dalam manajemen kelas adalah guru mampu menata lingkungan fisik kelas yang baik, guru mampu menegakkan tingkah laku siswa, guru memehami masalah masalah manajemen kelas. Kesimpulan Program PDS memberikan dampak yang positif baik pada guru maupun dosen serta sekolah dan lembaga pencetak guru /LPTK dalam berbenah diri melalui kegiatan berkolaborasi untuk memecahkan masalah dalam dunia pendidikan.

Abstract

Guru masih membuat insrumen penilaian berdasarkan adopsi dari buku matapelajaran yang belum menyentuh budaya lokal khususnya budaya Jambi. Penelitian pengembangan modul ini bertujuan mengetahui prosedur pengembangan instrumen penilaian, pembuatan modul, pengembangan Instrumen penilaian pembelajaran matematika berbasis budaya Jambi, validitas modul. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian pengembangan dengan model pengembangan ADDIE.Tahap yang dilakukan yaitu 1) Analyze, 2) Design, 3) Development, 4) Implement, 5) Evaluation. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMK N 1 Kota Jambi, pada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2020/2021 dengan subjek penelitian yaitu guru matematika Hasil penelitian ini berdasarkan model pengembangan ADDIE yaitu, pada tahap analisis dilakukan analisis kurikulum, analisis karakteristik peserta didik, analisi smateri. Tahap perancangan dilakukan persiapan pembuatan produk, penyusunan kerangka modul, dan penyusunan instrumen penialain. Tahap pengembangan dilakukan pembuatan produk, kemudian instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah angket tertutup. Tahap Implementasi yaitu produk hasil pengembangan di validasi tim ahli materi dan validasi tim ahli desain, kemudian di uji cobakan kepada guru di SMK N 1 Kota Jambi. Tahap evaluasi melalui analisis data dengna uji validitas dan analitis data statistic deskripsif maka diperoleh kevalidan, data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara kualitatif. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menunjujkkan bahwa modul penyusunan instrumen penilaian pembelajaran matematika bagi guru berbasis budaya Jambi sudah valid.
