Abstract

Based on a survey conducted by the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), the interest in learning among students in Indonesia is still relatively low, ranking 64th out of 120 countries. In 2007, the Global Institute reported that only 5% of students could solve high-level problem-solving tasks. This study aims to assess student responses, learning interests, and mathematical problem-solving skills following the implementation of Linktree. Linktree is an e-learning platform that offers ease in managing information despite being HTML-based. Moreover, it integrates seamlessly with various media, offers multiple tools, and presents customizable interfaces. The research methodology was quantitative, with a sample of 30 eighth-grade students from Junior high school. Data were collected through five mathematical problem-solving essay questions and questionnaires assessing student responses and learning interests post-Linktree usage. Findings revealed positive student responses towards Linktree, particularly in number patterns, with an average percentage of 84%, indicating excellent feedback. Post-Linktree usage, students exhibited an average percentage of 78% across four indicators of learning interest, classified as good. The students improved their mathematical problem-solving skills, with an average N-gain score of 0.64 and an N-gain percentage of 64.37%, categorized as moderately effective. Linktree's contribution to students' learning interest and mathematical problem-solving skills was significant, as evidenced by the hypothesis testing results, with a determination of 0.776 or 77.6% for learning interest and 0.629 or 62.9% for problem-solving skills. In conclusion, Linktree significantly contributes to students' learning interests and mathematical problem-solving skills

Abstract

Cekaman kekeringan merupakan salah satu teknik yang dilakukan untuk menginduksi bunga jeruk keprok di luar musim dalam upaya memenuhi ketersediaan buah jeruk keprok sepanjang tahun. Durasi cekaman kekeringan yang tepat penting dipelajari untuk menghindari cekaman berat dan mendapatkan hasil bunga yang optimum. Penelitian ini bertujuan menentukan durasi cekaman kekeringan yang tepat untuk menginduksi bunga jeruk keprok dataran rendah varietas Madura. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kebun Percobaan PKHT-IPB dengan ketinggian ± 300 mdpl dari bulan April-Mei 2019. Percobaan dirancang dengan RAK (Rancangan Acak Kelompok) dengan satu faktor perlakuan yaitu durasi cekaman kekeringan dengan lima taraf: tanpa cekaman kekeringan sebagai kontrol, durasi cekaman kekeringan satu minggu, durasi cekaman kekeringan dua minggu, durasi cekaman kekeringan tiga minggu dan durasi cekaman kekeringan empat minggu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa durasi cekaman kekeringan mempengaruhi keberhasilan induksi bunga jeruk keprok Madura. Durasi cekaman kekeringan selama 2, 3 dan 4 minggu dengan nilai kadar air secara berturut-turut 81.81%, 65.21% dan 55.39% dari kapasitas lapang berhasil menginduksi bunga. Bunga muncul pada 3, 2 dan 1 minggu setelah rewatering dan pengairan rutin secara berturut-turut pada perlakuan durasi cekaman 2, 3 dan 4 minggu. Tiga minggu tanpa irigasi merupakan durasi cekaman kekeringan optimum untuk induksi bunga jeruk keprok Madura.

Abstract

Penentuan waktu panen pisang Raja Bulu berdasarkan umur buah menyebabkan kualitas matang pascapanen (matang peram) yang tidak seragam antar tandan. Penentuan kriteria panen yang lebih tepat telah dilakukan dengan mengkonversi umur bunga antesis hingga panen ke akumulasi satuan panas dan mendapatkan akumulasi satuan panas optimum 1 400 oC hari pada pertanaman pisang Raja Bulu di dataran rendah (± 10 m dpl). Untuk memantapkan hasil tersebut telah dilakukan percobaan dengan rancangan kelompok lengkap teracak dari 3 waktu antesis berinterval satu minggu dengan 4 ulangan pada satuan panas 1 400 oC hari. Penandaan bunga antesis dilakukan di Kebun Parakansalak, PTPN VIII, Sukabumi (670 m dpl) pada Juli 2018. Observasi pascapanen dilakukan di Laboratorium Pascapanen Departemen Agronomi dan Hortikultura, Fakultas Pertanian, IPB. Akumulasi satuan panas 1 400 oC hari dicapai pada 88-91 hari setelah antesis. Tingkat matang peram (skala warna kulit 6) dicapai pada 11-14 hari setelah panen. Pada tingkat matang peram yang sama perbedaan waktu antesis tidak mempengaruhi kriteria matang peram buah pisang Raja Bulu yang meliputi umur simpan, susut bobot, laju respirasi, kekerasan buah, kandungan padatan terlarut total, kandungan asam tertitrasi total, dan kandungan vitamin C. Abstract

Pemanenan cabai rawit secara mekanis sedang berkembang, namun faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi arsitektur kanopi dan karakteristik buah masih kurang. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh intensitas naungan terhadap arsitektur kanopi dan posisi buah pada cabai rawit untuk mendukung pengembangan alat panen cerdas. Percobaan dilaksanakan di Kebun Percobaan Babakan Sawah Baru, IPB pada bulan September 2021 sampai Maret 2022. Percobaan menggunakan rancangan bertingkat dengan tingkat naungan (tanpa naungan, 25%, 30%, 50%, 60%, 90%, dan 100%) sebagai petak utama dan waktu pemberian naungan (4, 6, 8, dan 10 minggu setelah tanam) sebagai sub-plot. Arsitektur kanopi dan posisi buah dipengaruhi oleh tingkat naungan dan waktu penerapannya. Tinggi tanaman bertambah dan kanopi melebar seiring bertambahnya tingkat naungan hingga 50%. Oleh karena itu, tingkat naungan harus dipertimbangkan dalam pengembangan metodologi pemanenan cerdas. Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan self confidence dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dan jenis penelitian korelasional. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa angket tertutup dan tes uraian. Adapun desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu the one shot case study design dan penelitian ini termasuk pre experimental design.Berdasarkan hasil uji korelasi dengan menggunakan perhitungan korelasi pearson diperoleh nilai korelasi sebesar 0,75yang artinyaterdapat hubungan yang positif antara self confidence dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika. Sehingga semakin tinggi self confidence yang dimiliki siswa, maka akan semakin tinggi pula kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Kata Kunci: self confidence, berpikir kritis. The Correlations between Self Confidence and Student’s Critical Thinking Skill in Learning Mathematics Abstract This study aims to determine the relationship of self-confidence with students' critical thinking skills in learning mathematics. The method used in this research is quantitative and correlational research type. The data collection instruments used are closed questionnaire and description test. The research design used is the one-shot case study design and this research including pre-experimental design. Based on correlation test results by using correlation Pearson obtained the correlation value of 0.75 which means there is a positive relationship between self-confidence with students' critical thinking skills in learning mathematics. So the higher self-confidence that students have, the higher the students' critical thinking ability. Keywords: self confidence, critical thinking

Abstract

This study provides a bibliometric review of research on the treatment of learning anxiety in Islamic psychology, which involved a systematic search in multiple databases, resulting in 91 relevant studies for analysis. The bibliometric data generated from the investigation, identification, and extraction processes were analyzed using statistical analysis. The study found that cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and stress reduction therapy were the most commonly used methods to treat learning anxiety. Furthermore, most studies were conducted in the United Kingdom and the United States, which suggests a need for further research in other regions. Studies found that the most frequently discussed topics on treating learning anxiety in Islamic psychology were psychological interventions, educational practices, and the impact of Islamic beliefs and practices on learning anxiety. Additionally, the study identified variations in the quality of studies, with some demonstrating high quality while others indicating a risk of bias. This paper emphasizes the importance of conducting further research on the treatment of learning anxiety in Islamic psychology, particularly in other regions. These findings could be valuable for academics, researchers, and psychology practitioners interested in treating learning anxiety and educators seeking to better understand and address this issue in their students. Further studies can focus on developing therapy models tailored to Islamic Psychology's principles to provide more optimal outcomes in addressing learning anxiety.

Abstract

Lack of students 'social skills makes students' mathematics learning less optimal. The learning model that is carried out is often not maximizing the learning process-oriented towards mathematical communication skills. This makes the teacher strive for a learning method or strategy to foster students' social skills and mathematical communication skills. The Pair Check method is one of the learning methods expected to train and improve students' social skills and mathematical communication skills. The subjects of this study were 24 students of class VII B MTs Riyadlul Ulum Bendungan. The results showed that: (1) students social skills had a percentage of 74.05% with the "most" criteria, which means that most of the students had quite good social skills. At the same time, students' mathematical communication skills have a percentage of 49.55% in the less category. (2) the application of the pair check method can improve students' social skills and mathematical communication. This can be seen from the post-tests average value, which is greater than the pretest, namely pretest < posttest or 13.88 < 19.58. (3) the application of the pair check method has implications for the social skills and mathematical communication skills of students at MTs Riyadlul Ulum Bendungan. This can be seen from the results of the questionnaire and the test results after the pair check method was applied. It was better than the questionnaire results, and the test results before the pair check method were applied

Abstract

Melon (Cucumis melo L.) is a fruit commodity that gets a great interest to be developed in Indonesia and has a high nutritional value. However, the fungal infection and pathogens in melon cultivation are considered significant problems that are difficult to manage. Therefore, efforts are needed to improve the productivity and quality of melon and prevent pest and disease attacks. One mineral nutrient that is assumed to enhance plant resistance and increase the quality and production of melon is silica. The purpose of the research was to evaluate silica absorption from foliar-applied silicon nanoparticles in melon under soilless culture and improve melon fruit's growth and quality by applying silica fertilizer. The experimental design used was a split-plot randomized complete block design 3 x 2 factorial pattern with four replicates. The main plot factor is silica fertilizer (Novelgro, water-soluble), consisting of three silica concentrations of 0.67; 1.33 ppm, and control. The spray volume of each treatment was 160 ml per plant with seven days' intervals and a frequency of three times. The subplot factor is melon varieties consisting of “Alisha” and “Glamour”. The findings showed that silica fertilizer significantly increased the plant height, stem diameter, internode length, total number of hermaphrodite flowers, number of hermaphrodite flowers that are swelling, while decreased the fruit moisture content and gave the best average fruit position. Instead, The “Glamour” variety gave the best response to plant growth and fruit quality. Moreover, the melon plant could absorb silica in the low category (<1% Si). The highest silica contents were found in the “Alisha” cultivar leaves and the “Glamour” cultivar's rinds treated with the silica concentration of 1.33 ppm as much as 0.34% and 0.30%, respectively.

Abstract

Formal Islamic education is mostly accomplished with a cognitive verbalistic approach, focused on mastering fragmental conceptual knowledge with the context of its practical application. This phenomenon occurs because many students are not involved in community activities, even though religious education needs inherent guidance and supervision from family and adults in their surrounding environment. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the impact of community-based religious learning in improving student learning outcomes. Data were collected by observing learning practices at schools, mosques/musholla, and majlis ta'lim (recitation) around students' residences. Interviews were conducted with Islamic Education teachers, while documentation studies were carried out on the assessment of test and non-test results. The results showed that community involvement specifically aims to provide awareness to parents and the wider community to actively participate in the learning process within the limits of their respective powers. Community involvement in these activities is welcomed and seen as a valuable acknowledgment of their participation. Community empowerment has become a complementary solution, hence, learning outcomes tend to increase. Further studies should be carried out with a contextual and comprehensive approach

Abstract

The experiment was conducted to determine the activity of endogenous hormones in young seedless berry of Muscat of Alexandria (MOA) grapes induced by streptomycin (SM) and spectinomycin (SE). Young berries dipped in 200 ppm M or 200 ppm SE at 3 days before full-bloom and untreated berries were analyzed for the activity of . endogenous auxin, cytokinin. gibberellin and abscisic acid (ABA). The experiment was conducted at the Laboratory of ! Pomology, Faculty of Agriculture, Okayama University, Japan, from February 1999 to August 1999. Both SM and SE \treatments did not affect ABA activities of young berries. Cytokinin activity were slightly decreased by SM and SE treatments at 6 days after treatment (DAT) and became more severe at J 0 and J 3 DAT The response of berry auxin activity to antibiotic treatment was similar but stronger than cytokinins.
