Abstract

This study examines the government’s strategy to lessen reliance on capital-intensive manufacturing by strengthening agriculture, fisheries, and tourism as key sectors for boosting Local Own-Source Revenue and employment. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of the agricultural, fisheries, and tourism sectors on local own-source revenue and labor absorption in Bontang City. The study applies a quantitative causal-associative design using path analysis and relying on secondary data from the central statistics agency, the agriculture, fisheries, and tourism departments, and the regional financial management agency of Bontang City for the 2020–2024 period. The findings reveal that all three sectors have a positive and significant effect on local own-source revenue, with the tourism sector contributing the most, followed by the agricultural and fisheries sectors. Meanwhile, in terms of labor absorption, the agricultural sector has the most dominant influence compared to the other two sectors. The three sectors significantly contribute to the improvement of local own-source revenue and labor absorption. The study concludes that cross-sectoral synergy among labor-intensive sectors can strengthen local economic resilience and support sustainable regional economic growth. The implication is that local governments should enhance inter-agency collaboration, expand public investment, and formulate community-based economic empowerment policies rooted in local resources.

Abstract

The effectiveness of local tax collection has become a critical issue in regional fiscal sustainability, particularly amid increasing policy innovation and administrative transformation. This study aims to examine the influence of human resource capacity and policy innovation on the effectiveness of local tax collection in Bontang City and to analyze the interaction between these variables. A quantitative associative approach was employed using time series data from 2015–2024, including tax targets, realization data, and personnel records from the Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda) of Bontang City. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with dummy variables and interaction terms through SPSS software. The findings reveal that human resource capacity does not significantly affect tax collection effectiveness, while policy innovation serves as the primary driver with a significant positive impact, indicating a structural shift in regional fiscal capacity. Moreover, a significant negative interaction effect was identified, suggesting that increasing personnel during innovation implementation reduces effectiveness due to transitional inefficiencies and administrative coordination burdens. The study concludes that regional tax administration has shifted from a labor-intensive toward a system-intensive model, emphasizing the need for automated data integration rather than workforce expansion.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Model Problem Based Learning berbantuan kahoot terhadap keaktifan dan hasil belajar IPAS siswa kelas III SDN 26 Palu. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan design experimen pre-experimental design dengan bentuk one-group pretest-postest design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas III tahun ajaran 2024/2025 berjumlah 20 orang. Sampel yang digunakan yaitu kelas III SDN 26 PALU yang berjumlah 20 siswa. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik penarikan sampel acak. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes hasil belajar, lembar oservasi keaktifan siswa dan guru. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu analisis statistik deskriptif dan infirensial. Hasil nilai rata-rata pretest yang diperoleh yaitu 35,75 dan nilai rata-rata postest yaitu 82,35. Pada penelitian menggunakan instrumen penelitian berupa tes soal pilihan ganda (PG) dan pengambilan data keaktifan belajar siswa menggunakan angket lembar observasi siswa dan guru. Analisis data menggunakan uji prasyarat yaitu, uji normalitas, uji deskriptif, serta pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji Independen Sampel T-test berbantuan SPSS For Windows versi 30. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini ditunjukkan oleh perhitungan menggunakan jasa komputer SPSS 30 dimana nilai sig (2-tailed) =0,000 0,05 sehingga hipotesis Ho ditolak dan menerima Ha artinya terdapat pengaruh penggunaan model problem based learning berbantuan kahoot terhadap keaktifan dan hasil belajar IPAS siswa kelas III SDN 26 Palu.

Abstract

Thoi Fatul Fitriah, 2019 " the role of Capital and Labor toward lowland rice production in Bhuana Jaya village, Tenggarong Seberang District, Faculty of Economics and Business, Mulawarman University under the guidance of Sjamsu Djohan and Diana Lestari.The purpose of this research was to know the role of Capital and Labor toward lowland rice production in Bhuana Jaya village, Tenggarong Seberang in one harvest season. This research used quantitative approach  with primary data sources obtained directly from respondents by filling out the questionnaire. The analytical method used in this research was multiple linear regression with the Cobb-Douglass production function model and processed using the IBM SPSS program (Statistical Product and Service Solutions) 21.0. version.Capital had and effect toward lowland rice production 0,778, it meant that when there was an increase in capital value in 1 percent, it would increase 0,778 percent of the production. It showed a positive and significant relationshop. The labor had an influence toword the production of lowland rice for 0,281, it meant that when there was an increase in the number of the labor in 1 percent, it would increase 0,281 percent of lowland rice production. It showed a positive and significant relationship.

Abstract

Goat milk is widely consumed as a functional food. Milk’s derived bioactive peptides are the specific peptides which are produced by the degradation of milk protein by proteases enzyme and posseses a different positive properties such as antihypertensive, antioxidant, antibacterial, antiiflamatory and many more. The purpose of this research is to explore the antibacterial activity of fractionated bioactive peptides derived from the hydrolysis of goat milk casein and identify the peptide profiles using SDS-PAGE electrophoresis. Casein was isolated from fresh goat milk and then hydrolyzed by crude bromelain enzyme with an activity of 0.420 U/mL for 0, 1, 2, and 3 minutes at a temperature of 50oC. Profile analysis from bromelain hydrolyzates showed some protein bands with molecular weights from about 6.63 kDa to 7.32 kDa on SDS PAGE gel. The fractionation process was carried out on selected bromelain hydrolyzates using a 30 kDa and 10 kDa membrane Cut-Off. The antibacterial test results showed that the hydrolysates from B0 and B1 peptides showed inhibitory activity on Staphylococcus aureus. The fractionation process increased the antibacterial activity of hydrolysates from peptides B0 and B1. Small molecular weight peptides have better inhibitory activity.

Abstract

Microencapsulation is a technique that can improve the viability of probiotics and protect the cells from adverse environment by entrapping the cell inside a bead matrix. Probiotic strains Lactobacillus acidophilus was microencapsulated by an emulsion method using sodium alginate, palm oil, and Tween 80. The aim of this research were to produce microencapsulated L. acidophilus by emulsion method and evaluate the stability of microencapsulated probiotic during storage in pineapple fruit butter. Microencapsulation could protect probiotic during storage (significantly different (p=0,05)) than without microencapsulation. During two weeks storage, free cells decreased dramatically (2,5 log CFU/g) than encapsulated cells (1,2 log CFU/g). Storaging microencasulated probiotic in refrigerator temperature (4°C) caused microencapsulated probiotic had longer shelf life (22 days) than room temperature (9 days). pH of pineapple butter containing microencapsulated probiotic cells were found as more stable during storage than were the free cells.

Abstract

Biscuit is a snack based on wheat flour. Excessive use of wheat flour makes an increasing import of wheat from other countries. as a solution is to use yellow pumpkin flour for substitution. Yellow pumpkin (Cucurbita moschata) contains high protein, fiber, and also β-carotene as a source of antioxidants. Yellow pumpkin flours were mixed with wheat flour in 3 ratios. The ratio of pumpkin flour and wheat flour are 2:3, 1:1, and 3:2 and also divided into 2 sugar contents, which are 120 g and 60 g. Water content analysis result was 2,57%, which has met SNI requirements with the maximum at 4%. The most preferred biscuit was 2:3 sample with 60 g sugar. Yellow pumpkin biscuits were acceptable in the organoleptic test. The higher yellow pumpkin flour concentration, the color was darker and the texture was easy to break. Proximate analysis for the best formulation was 57,11% carbohydrate, 6,93% protein, 28,68% for fat, water content 4,78% and ash content 2,50%. The total energy was 514 Calories/100 g value and the energy from fat was 258 Calories/100 g. Biskuit merupakan salah satu makanan ringan berbasis tepung terigu. Tingginya penggunaan tepung terigu meningkatkan impor gandum dari negara lain. Sebagai salah satu solusinya adalah penggunaan tepung labu kuning. Labu kuning (Cucurbita moschata) merupakan tanaman yang tinggi serat dan protein serta beta karoten sebagai antioksidan. Penelitian ini menggunakan 3 ratio tepung labu kuning : tepung terigu sebesar 2:3, 1:1, 3:2 dan dengan dua konsentrasi gula yaitu 120 g dan 60 g. Analisis kadar air menghasilkan nilai dengan rata-rata 2,57% dimana telah memenuhi SNI yaitu maksimum 4%. Hasil organoleptik menyatakan biskuit dengan perbandingan 2:3 dan gula 60 g paling disukai. Tepung labu kuning dalam formulasi biskuit dapat diterima secara organoleptik oleh masyarakat. Hasil analisis warna dan daya patah menunjukkan penggunaan tepung labu kuning tinggi menyebabkan warna gelap dan mudah patah. Analisis proksimat pada formulasi terbaik menunjukkan 57,11% karbohidrat, 6,93 % protein, dan 28,68% lemak. Kandungan kadar air 4,78%, dan kadar abu 2,50%. Energi total adalah 514 Kalori /100g dan energi dari lemak menunjukkan hasil 258 Kalori/100g.

Abstract

Tempe dapat dimanfaatkan dalam pembuatan produk minuman olahraga untuk pemulihan kondisi tubuh pasca olahraga. Namun, penelitian mengenai minuman olahraga tersebut masih belum diketahui secara lebih lanjut mengenai fraksi yang memiliki aktivitas antioksidan terbaik. Fraksinaksi dilakukan untuk memisahkan peptida berdasarkan berat molekul, memurnikan, dan mengkonsentrasikan. Maka dari itu penelitian ini memiliki tujuan yaitu memisahkan peptida menjadi fraksi-fraksi, menguji konsentrasi protein dan berat molekul dari fraksi-fraksi yang diperoleh, membandingkan nilai aktivitas antioksidan dengan metode DPPH dan ABTS dari fraksi peptida, dan menentukan nilai IC50 dari fraksi peptida yang memiliki aktivitas antioksidan terbaik. Proses fraksinasi dilakukan terhadap sampel dengan aktivitas antioksidan terbaik yaitu hidrolisis selama 3 jam dengan enzim bromelain. Hasil fraksinasi peptida didapatkan 4 fraksi dengan nilai konsentrasi tertinggi pada fraksi >300 kDa sebesar 62,1 mg/mL. Pada analisis berat molekul, peptida hidrolisat 3 jam membentuk 5 band sedangkan fraksi-fraksinya membentuk 1-4 band. Aktivitas antioksidan terbaik ditunjukkan pada fraksi <5 kDa metode DPPH sebesar 2,9%/mg protein dan ABTS sebesar 3%/mg protein. Nilai IC50 dari kedua metode ini menunjukkan fraksi peptida tergolong dalam aktivitas antioksidan lemah.
