Abstract

[Bahasa]: Ecoprinting merupakan salah satu keterampilan alternatif yang ingin dikuasai dan dimintai oleh guru-guru di Kota Ternate. Hal ini karena teknik ini sangat menarik untuk diajarkan pada siswa di sekolah sehingga penting untuk mengajarkan ecoprinting pada guru-guru terlebih dahulu. Kegiatan pelatihan pembuatan batik ecoprint diselenggarakan tim pengabdian universitas Khairun bersama MGMP Biologi SMA/MA Kota Ternate dan dihadiri 28 guru dari 11 SMA se-Kota Ternate. Tujuannya ialah mengajarkan keterampilan membuat batik ecoprint. Kegiatan dilakukan menggunakan metode sosialisasi, demonstrasi, pelatihan dan pendampingan. Alat dan bahan pembuatan diperoleh dari lingkungan sekitar sebagai potensi lokal daerah Ternate. Hasil evaluasi melalui pre test dan angket menunjukkan bahwa awalnya sebanyak 67% peserta tidak mengetahui tentang ecoprinting. Saat pelatihan, peserta cenderung menggunakan daun yang berwarna yakni daun bayam merah sebanyak 64% peserta. Hasil evaluasi, peserta merespon positif terhadap pelatihan baik terhadap isi materi, pemateri, dan metode pelaksanaan kegiatan. Secara keseluruhan penilaian peserta adalah baik sekali terhadap isi materi dan instruktur dengan rata-rata skor masing-masing 91, sedangkan untuk penilaian terhadap metode rata-rata ialah 89. Pelatihan berhasil mengajarkan ecopriting kepada semua peserta dan tim merekomendasikan untuk mengajarkan pada pada siswa SMA di Kota Ternate. Kata Kunci: batik ecoprint, bayam merah, Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP) Biologi [English]: Ecoprinting is one of the alternative skills that teachers in Ternate City want to master and demand. This is because this technique is very interesting to teach to students at school, so it is important to teach ecoprinting to teachers first. The ecoprint batik training activity was held by the Khairun University service team together with MGMP Biology SMA/MA Ternate City and attended by 28 teachers from 11 high schools throughout Ternate City. The aim is to teach skills in making ecoprint batik. Activities are carried out using methods of socialization, coercion, training and mentoring. Tools and manufacturing materials were obtained from the surrounding environment as a local potential of the Ternate area. The evaluation results through pre-tests and questionnaires showed that initially 67% of participants did not know about ecoprinting. During training, participants tended to use colored leaves, namely red spinach leaves, as many as 64% of participants. As a result of the evaluation, participants gave a positive response to the training regarding the content of the material, presenters, and methods of implementing activities. Overall, the participants' assessment was very good regarding the content of the material and the instructor with an average score of 91 each, while for the assessment of the method, the average was 89. The training was successful in teaching ecopriting to all participants and the team recommended teaching it to high school students in the city Ternate. Abstract

This research aims to analyze the validity of the draft Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for reflective micro learning for PPG Pre-service students. The expert validators in this research were 9 language experts and material experts each. The instrument for collecting data is in the form of a questionnaire. The data obtained in the form of a rating scale is then transformed into quantitative data in the form of percentages. The percent data is then categorized for validity. The research results show that the average percentage of SOP validity according to material experts is 94.7% and is categorized as very valid, while according to language experts it is 96.5% and is categorized as very valid.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the practicality of Student Worksheets (LKM) using Moloku Kie Raha's local potential project-based learning in the Inorganic Chemistry II course. The research population was 26 students in the fourth semester of the 2022-2023 academic year in the Chemistry Education study program, Mathematics and Natural Sciences Education department, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Khairun University. All sample members are used as the population (saturated sample or total sample). Data was obtained through a student response questionnaire during class learning with indicators of the novelty of the material presented, the attractiveness of the LKM display, motivation to learn, the ability to learn more independently, and the ability to learn cooperatively. Data analysis was carried out using a rating scale, transformation of qualitative data into quantitative, and percentages. The research results show that the percentage of practicality of LKM using Moloku Kie Raha local potential project-based learning is 87.2% and is categorized as very practical. The conclusion of this research is that the LKM based on the Moloku Kie Raha local potential project is very practical and suitable for use in Inorganic Chemistry II lectures.

Abstract

This community service aims to provide learning videos to all participants in the National Science Olympiad in Natural Sciences. This learning video is a free learning resource that can be accessed anytime and anywhere via the YouTube platform. These learning videos consist of 9 videos containing OSN Science grids and are collected into one playlist entitled KSN IPA (Fisika) SMP. The use of YouTube in supporting preparations for the science olympiads at junior high school level can be said to be effective by looking at the number of viewers, the number of likes and that no one gave a dislike. Ease of access and targeted material content can be something that attracts students participating in OSN. Even the comments column can also be used as a medium for discussion and correction of each material presented.

Abstract

Learning media plays a role in generating enthusiasm and interest in learning for students, so an interesting learning media is needed that can help students in the learning process. Flipbook is one of the interactive learning media that combines visual representation, narration, and interactive simulation that is expected to help students. The purpose of this study is to see the validity of the flipbook for genetics course produced from local species data of North Maluku. The study is a research and development study (Research and Development) which refers to the Thiagarajan 1974 development model, namely 4D (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). The results showed that the flipbook learning media was very valid for use in learning with a percentage of 92% from material, media and language experts in this case by lecturers, and 98% from material, media and language experts in this case by teachers. The level of practicality of the learning media flipbook has a percentage of 91% obtained from student responses. This means that flipbook learning media is very valid and very suitable for use

Abstract

The Kartu Indonesia Pintar Kuliah (KIP-K) is a scholarship program provided by the government for high school graduates who excel academically but are economically disadvantaged and unable to continue their studies at university. The KIP-K program aims to increase opportunities for students to pursue higher education by providing monthly living expenses and tuition fees for students who meet the eligibility criteria. Through KIP-K, it is expected to create a competitive and well-educated generation of future leaders. In North Maluku Province, particularly in Malifut, North Halmahera Regency, many students still lack information about the KIP-K scholarship. Therefore, this community service activity aimed to provide insights into the importance of pursuing education at the university level and how underprivileged students can apply for the KIP-K scholarship. This activity was carried out at SMAN 4 Halmahera Utara and SMKN 2 Halmahera Utara. As a result of this socialization, students successfully created their own accounts and registered for the KIP-K scholarship. It is hoped that through this program, students will take advantage of higher education opportunities through KIP-K and be able to continue their studies and achieve their goals.

Abstract

One of the teaching materials that can be used as a reference for students is an e-module based on Environmental Exploration (JAS) integrated problem solving. E-module based on Environmental Exploration (JAS) integrated Problem Solving is a learning media that can be used to support the learning process. The Environmental Exploration (JAS)-based e-module integrated with problem-solving makes it easier for students to solve problems in biodiversity material, which is closely related to the surrounding environment. This research aims to analyze the validation of the JAS-based integrated problem-solving e-module in class X biodiversity material. Based on the content validity results calculated using a Likert scale, validity data was obtained from 7 material experts and media experts, namely biology lecturers and biology teachers. The validation test in this study used five assessment criteria, namely, very good (SB), good (B), fair (C), poor (KB), and very poor (SKB). The material expert validation instrument obtained 90 categorized as very good, and the media expert obtained 88, categorized as very good.

Abstract

The increasein cassava production is aimed at increasing yields that remain high according to needs and demand, therefore the target of increasing the weight of fresh tubers needs to be achieved with the method of development of cultivation technology. This research aims to examine the influence of cuttings sliced models and the number of shoots on the growth and yield of cassava crops. The study used local variety cassava cuttings from Tobelo, North Maluku. The study was arranged in factorial Randomized Block Design, as the first factor is the cuttings sliced model, consisting of 3 levels namely flat slice, one-sided sliced, and two-sided sliced, and the second factor is the number of buds consisting of 3 levels namely one bud, two buds, and three buds. Each treatment is repeated 3 times so there are 27 trial units. The results showed the treatment of the two-sided sliced model provided the highest average value on all observation parameters, while in the treatment of the number of buds, the number of buds one tended to provide the highest average value. The highest cassava production result was obtained in the combination of two-sided sliced model treatment with the number of buds one which is 15.96 tons ha-1.

Abstract

Information on soil resources in volcanic landscapes presents a high potential for agricultural land development, but its development is always faced with the potential for continuous land degradation. This study aims to reduce the rate of land degradation through the application of vegetative conservation in erosion-prone Loto agrotourism area, Ternate Island. The research location is focused on erosion-prone areas. The research consisted of a soil resource inventory and a vegetative conservation application. The vegetative conservation application method used a Randomized Block Design (RBD) pattern, composed of 2 factors. The first factor is mulching, namely: no mulching (M0) and mulching (M1), while the second factor is chicken manure-based organic fertilizer, specifically at 10 tons ha-1(P1), and 20 tons ha-1(P2). Observation parameters include soil parameters as well as plant growth and yield parameters. The results showed that the combination of mulching and chicken manure had an insignificant effect on plant height, number of flowers, number of fruits, or number of branches. However, the application of mulching was found to increase the fruit weight of curly chili plants. This finding implied that erosion-prone areas require improved land management, such as mulching, to optimize soil resources and reduce erosion risk.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis validitas dari rancangan Standar Operasional Prosedur (SOP) pembelajaran mikro reflektif untuk mahasiswa PPG Prajabatan. Validator ahli dalam penelitian ini adalah ahli bahasa dan ahli materi masing-masing berjumlah 9 orang. Instrumen untuk pengambilan data berbentuk angket. Data yang diperoleh dalam bentuk sekala rating kemudian ditransformasi menjadi data kuantitatif dalam bentuk persen. Data persen kemudian dikategorisasi validitasnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rerata persentase validitas SOP menurut ahli materi sebesar 94,7% dan dikategorikan sangat valid, sedangkan menurut ahli bahasa sebesar 96,5% dan dikategorikan sangat valid.
