Abstract

Abstract: This study was motivated by the attitude of equality, regardless of sex, mutual respect that can instill a sense of sympathy and there is no discrimination in a learning process. The formulation of the problem in this research is How the influence of values of multiculturalism to the practice of the value of harmony of students of class X SMK Negeri 5 Pekanbaru, The purpose of this study is to know the extent to which the influence of the values of multiculturalism to value harmony students. This type of research is quantitative descrip- tive Research and Tech nik taking the sample used is random sampling. Data collection techniques in this study were conducted by questionnaire to 77 respondents. Is known use values-the value of multiculturalism contributed 54% in affecting the value of harmony.while for the other 46% is influenced by other factors. The formulation of the hypothesis was formulated that is Influence Values Against Multiculturalism practice Harmony Value Class X in SMK Negeri 5 Pekanbaru is high means that the practice of value harmony student / I claas X in SMK Negeri 5 Pekanbaru with the percentage of 56.84%. These results indicate that the influence of significance based on testing conducted in this study showed that there were significant effects characterized by F count ≥ F tables or (9.502) ≥ (0.22242). Thus, Ha is accepted while Ho is rejected which means there is influence of values of multiculturalism, or the higher the influence of values of multiculturalism then the higher the practice of harmony values owned by students of class X in SMK Negeri 5 Pekanbaru.Keywords: Value, Multiculturalism, Concord

Abstract

Abstract: The research is in the background of a good character to prevent the phenomenon of declining moral decline. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 5 Pekanbaru. Held in June 25 to 19 Agutus 2019. Population and samples as many as 54 people. Data analysis techniques using quantitative descriptive analysis. The results showed from the percentage of respondents gained answers to the character grades in the extracurricular activities of adolescent Red Cross in SMA Negeri 5 Pekanbaru. The disfigured variables consist of 2 (two) variables 1) learning the character value of responsibility in the extracurricular activities of the Red Cross teen in SMA Negeri 5 Pekanbaru which is 28.22% division of duty by the teacher/contractor high category. Variable 2) supporting factors of character value responsibility in the activities of extracurricular Red Cross adolescents in SMA Negeri 5 is 34.44% interest (interest) high category. The learning barrier factor for the character responsibility value in the extracurricular activities of adolescent Red Cross in SMA Negeri 5 Pekanbaru is 39.56% School (teaching method, building situation) very high category.Key Words : Character Of Responsibility, PMR Extracurricular

Abstract

Abstrack : Character education is not a new term in the field of education because at this time character education already exists in all subjects with the aim of fostering the character and character of students. Teachers are required to be able to integrate all the main character values contained in each of these subjects, in the learning process starting from the planning, implementation and evaluation stages of learning which from day to day need to be designed and implemented to support the formation of student disciplinary character. This research was conducted to determine the role of teachers in shaping the character of student discipline in SMA Negeri Tuah Kemuning. Based on this background, the problem that arises is how the role of the teacher in shaping the disciplinary character of Tuah Kemuning Senior High School students? The purpose of this study was to determine the role of the teacher in shaping the disciplinary character of the students of SMA Negeri Tuah Kemuning. In this study the writer will present the data which is the result of the research conducted by the author at SMA Negeri Tuah Kemuning, where this research uses observation data collection techniques, interviews, and questionnaires. In this study, a sample of 28 teachers of SMA Negeri Tuah Kemuning as respondents to fill out a research questionnaire. The results of this study were analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the results of the average percentage value of the alternative answers to the dominant respondents were 62.08% where this range was in the "Good" category with the presence in the range 50.01-75%. Thus the role of teachers in disciplinary character education of students at SMA Negeri Tuah Kemuning is good.Key Word :Role of Teacher, Character of Discipline

Abstract

Abstract: This research motivated by the tradition of Aghi Ayo onam celebrations in the people of Bangkinang sub-district, which is a tradition of pride in the people of Bangkinang sub-district there are rich in religious, moral, cultural and other values. But now the tradition has many changes not only in process of its implementation, but also changes in enthusias of its people. The formulation of the problem in this research is How the Aghi Ayo Onam Tradition in the current society of Bangkinang sub-district and How the enthusiasm of the people towards Aghi Ayo Onam Tradition in Bangkinang sub-district. The purpose of this research are: to Knowing the tradition of the Aghi Ayo Onam Celebration in the people of Bangkinang sub-district and Knowing the enthusias of the people towards the Aghi Ayo Onam Tradition in Bangkinang sub-district society. Data collection techniques in this research are observation, interview and documentation. The respondents of this research were six people, are: one of ninik mamak, one of traditional kampar institution, one of cultural person, one society of Bangkinang sub-district and two nomads from Bangkinang. Data analysis techniques in this research used qualitative methods. The results in this research are changes in almost all the sequence traditions of aghi ayo onam, and the enthusias of the people at this time is changing and decreasing. There are two changes factor, are: external factors and internal factors, The external factor is the influence of other cultures and internal factors, are: new discoveries and increasing and decreasing populations.Key Words: Tradition of Aghi Ayo Onam

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the perception of lecturers majoring in Social Sciences Education (P.IPS) FKIP Riau University to student demonstration (case study of forest and land fire (Karhutla) demonstrations 2019). Data management is performed using quantitative descriptive analysis. Samples from this study were all lecturers majoring in P-IPS FKIP Riau University as many as 44 lecturers divided into 3 departments namely Economic Education, Parallel Education and Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn) with a population of 44 lecturers. The sample collection technique in this study uses the Nonprobability technique that is saturated sample or often called total sampling. Data collection activities carried out by observation (observation), interviews, questionnaires and documentation. This research is descriptive in nature which aims to describe the conditions or phenomena that exist in the field, then the data obtained will be analyzed with a quantitative descriptive system with a percentage. Based on the results of the study it was found that the results of the calculation of the average value of the alternative answers of dominant respondents is 68.77% where this range is in the "Good" category with the existence in the range of 50.01% -75.00%. Abstract

Abstract: Extracurricular activities that have been held by the school is the oneof media that potential for character development and improving the academic qualityof students. Paskibra (flag raisers) and scout are the school’s extracurricular that haveactivity to train student’s characters, for example is line of march and flag raising inthe school that can grow character of nationalism in students. Paskibra and scoutactivities can build character of nationalism, like the leadership attitude of students,bravery, responsibility, and love the country. The aim of this research is to know thedifferences in the character of nationalism between students who join the paskibraextracurricular with scout extracurricular in SMA Negeri 4 Pekanbaru. Subject for thisresearch is members of paskibra and members of scout in SMA Negeri 4 Pekanbaru.Sample taken in this research were 40 people, with 20 members of paskibra and 20members of scout. Method that used for collect the data is methods of observation,interview, and documentation. To analyze the data researcher used quantitativedescriptive techniques with statiscal test. The result of test that receive from percentagecalculation of respondents showed that character of nationalism level of students whojoined paskibra extracurricular in SMA Negeri 4 Pekanbaru is very high, proved byscore results is 81%. While the character of nationalism of student who joined scoutextracurricular in SMA Negeri 4 Pekanbaru is very high too, proved by score results is83,58%. From the result of T-test base on SPSS version 21 that there is no difference incharacter of nationalism between student who joined paskibra extracurricular withscout extracurricular, proved by sig > 5% (0,126 > 0,05) and t arithmetic -0,930smaller than t table 2,0243.Key words: Character of Nationalism, Paskibra Extracurricular, Scout Extracurricular

Abstract: This research i s motivated by the role of women in rice farmingwhich is generally carried out by men but not in the intersection village where the task of taking care of rice farming in the Simpang Kubu village is the role and responsibility of women. The formulation of the problem of this research is "What is the communityperception about the role of women farmers in Simpang Kubu Village, Kampar District, Kampar Regency". the purpose of this study was to "To find out how people's perceptions about the role of women far mers in Simpang Kubu Village, Kampar Regency". Data collection techniques in this study were observation, interviews and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques in this study used descriptive qualitative methods. Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by problems that arise during the Covid-19 pandemic where there are no crowds or gathering of people. Initially, the conventional or face-to-face student learning system was changed to an online learning system. The formulation of the problem in this study is how the students 'perceptions of the online learning system at the University of Riau and also how the students' perceptions of the advantages and disadvantages of the online learning system at the University of Riau. The research objective was to determine students 'perceptions in the online learning system at the University of Riau and also to determine students' perceptions of the advantages and disadvantages of the online learning system at the University of Riau. The benefits of research results for students are to provide an overview of student perceptions in the online learning system at Riau University. The study population was students of the Riau University. The sample in this study was taken using a quota sampling technique. Data collection techniques are questionnaires and interviews. The data analysis technique used quantitative descriptive method. The conclusion of this study is that overall data regarding student perceptions in the online learning system at the University of Riau are in the "Good" category, with a percentage of 72.5%, and in the range of 50.01% - 75%. Students' perceptions about the advantages of the online learning system at the University of Riau are in the "Good" category, with a percentage of 55.7%, and in the range of 50.01% - 75%. Students' perceptions about the deficiencies of the online learning system at the University of Riau are in the "Very Bad" category, with a percentage of 79.59%, and in the range 75.01 - 100%.Key Words: Analysis, Perceptions, Online Learning System

Abstract

Abstract: The background of this research is based on the effect of the vision mission and the students’ religious character of SMK Al-Farui, Kubang, Kampar Districts this research consisted of one formulation of the problem is: whether available the effect of the implementation of the vision mission on the practice of students' religious character in class XI of SMK Al-Faruqi Kubang, Kampar Districts. The purposes of this research is to know the effect of the implementation of the vision mission on the practice of students' religious character in class XI of SMK Al-Faruqi Kubang, Kampar Districts. As for the advantages of this research is the theoretical advantage that is the result of this research is supposed to add insight and knowledge widely. The practically advantage of this research is supposed to be a guide for the educators, related to the instructional students’ character of the education. The methodologically advantage is could be created as studies for the next researchers, especially at the same research to develop insight and knowledge. The population in this research are students in class XI of SMK Al-Faruqi and a sample 14 respondents are based on the type of non probability sampling which is elected with non probability sampling. The data of the research were collected by the observing, questionering, documenting and interviewing. This research is a descriptive quantitative which is uses simple linear regression formula and assisted by the SPSS application 16 version was by stated of the hypothesis; there are an influences between the effect of the implementation of the vision mission on the practice of students' religious character in class XI of SMK Al-Faruqi. Based on the research about the effect of the implementation of the vision mission on the practice of students' religious character in class XI of SMK Al-Faruqi, there are a significantly influences between the effect of the implementation of the vision mission on the practice of students' religious character in class XI of SMK Al-Faruqi, Kubang, Kampar Districts.Key Words: The effect, implementation of the vision mission, students’ religious character.

Abstract

Abstract:The problem of this research is motivated by the existence of conflicts or tensions between customs and the Bible related to the procedures for traditional Batak marriages. This study aims to determine the public's perception of marriage without Batak tribal procedures, and the consequences if marriage without Batak traditional procedures in the Pentecostal Church. This research method is descriptive method, where this research is a qualitative research. The research location was set at the Pentecostal Church on Jalan Harapan Jaya, Tenayan Raya District, Pekanbaru. The informants of this study were 5 people. The data collection technique of this research is interviews, and is supported by observation and documentation. The data analysis of this research used qualitative analysis in the form of data reduction, power display, and verification. The results of this study indicate that the community's perception of marriage without Batak tribal procedures is known from the presence of couples who marry without using customs caused by economic factors and church teaching factors. There are also couples who get married without using the Batak tribe's customs, who think that without being attended to is also not a problem. The result of marriage without Batak customary procedures in the Pentecostal Church is not being able to participate in traditional activities in the form of giving or receiving ulos and jambars, rarely participating in clan associations (punguan) so as to create barriers to friendship with other clans, so that it becomes talk in traditional activities.Key Words: Perception,Marriage Without Batak Traditional Procedures
