Abstract

This study aimed to determine teacher certification's effect on teacher performance at MTs Negeri Model Makassar. This research is a type of quantitative research with an ex-post facto approach. The study population consisted of all 70 certified teachers at MTs Negeri Model Makassar, with a total sample of 25 teachers. The instruments used by researchers in this study were documentation and scales as primary instruments and interview guidelines as secondary instruments. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the relationship between teacher certification and teacher performance is in the moderate category. Thus, it was concluded that there was an influence between teacher certification on performance at MTs Negeri Model Makassar.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using the two stay-two stray type cooperative learning model on mathematical communication skills and mathematical problem solving skills of class VIII students of SMPN 6 Moncongloe. The research used was Quasi Experiment with Non Equivalent Control Group Design research design. The study population was all VIII grade SMPN 6 Moncongloe totaling 128 people with samples in both classes totaling 32 students each. This research instrument is a test of mathematical communication skills and mathematical problem solving skills in the form of pretest and posttest tests. The analysis technique used is descriptive statistics and inferential statistics using multivariate mean difference test. The results showed: (1) students' mathematical communication skills after the use of the two stay-two stray learning model are in the high category with a percentage of 56.25%. (2) students' mathematical communication ability using two stay-two stray type cooperative learning model has a significant effect based on the output of the test of beetween-subjects effect, namely students' mathematical communication ability has a significance of 0.0001 so that the value is less than 0.05 (0.0001<0.05). (3) mathematical problem solving ability using two stay-two stray type cooperative learning model has a significant effect based on the output of the test of beetween-subjects effect, namely students' mathematical problem solving has a significance of 0.0001 so that the value is less than 0.05 (0.0001<0.05). (4) there is a significant effect of two stay-two stray type cooperative learning model on students' mathematical communication ability and mathematical problem solving ability as evidenced by the multivariate test output in the effect section of the class both according to Pillai's Trace, Wilks' Lambda, Hotelling's Trace, and Roy's Largest Root all significance values are 0.0001 so that it is less than 0.05 (0.0001<0.05).

Abstract

The library is a place that used to develop and explore the world of education, so librarian competencies are needed and supported by adequate library infrastructure. The purpose of this study was to analyse the effect of the competence of librarians and library facilities on the quality of service at MTsN Polewali Mandar. This study uses quantitative methods and a management approach. The date collection techniques used are questionnaires and documentation. Then, data analysis used descripctive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis (classical assumption test, multiple reference analysis, and hypothesis testing). The results of the research on testing the variable competence of librarians and library facilities show that there is a significant influence on the quality of service at MTsN Polewali Mandar by 0,547, or 54,7%.Perpustakaan merupakan tempat yang digunakan untuk mengembangkan dan menelusuri dunia pendidikan sehingga diperlukan adanya kompetensi pustakawan dan didukung oleh sarana prasarana perpustakaan yang memadai. Tujuan penelitian ini digunakan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kompetensi pustakawan dan sarana prasarana perpustakaan terhadap kualitas pelayanan di MTsN Polewali Mandar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif serta menggunakan pendekatan manajemen. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket dan dokumentasi. Kemudian, analisis data menggunakan analisis statistik deksriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial (uji asumsi klasik, analisis refresi berganda dan uji hipotesis). Hasil penelitian pada pengujian variabel kompetensi pustakawan dan sarana prasarana perpustakaan menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan terhadap kualitas pelayanan di MTsN Polewali Mandar sebesar 0,547 atau 54,7%.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui implementasi EDM dan E-RKAM dalam meningkatkan mutu Pendidikan di MIS Terpadu Insan Cendekia Makassar. Penelitian tersebut menerapkan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Data diperoleh dengan interview kepala madrasah MIS Terpadu Insan Cendekia Makassar, guru, operator, serta melalui riset dan dokumentasi. Sumber data dilakukan terdiri dari data primer dan sekunder. Selanjutnya, Penelitian ini melibatkan tahapan analisis, yaitu reduksi data, display data, dan menyimpulkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi EDM dan e-RKAM telah memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap transparansi data, efisiensi perencanaan anggaran, dan pengambilan keputusan strategis. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi pada pemahaman praktis tentang bagaimana teknologi informasi dapat dioptimalkan untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di tingkat madrasah. Manfaat EDM mencakup kemudahan bagi madrasah dalam menyusun Rencana Kerja Madrasah (RKM) dan Rencana Kerja Alokasi Manfaat (RKAM), serta memfasilitasi proses identifikasi kelemahan dan kelebihan dalam kinerja madrasah. Melalui pemanfaatan kekuatan yang dimiliki madrasah, potensi ini dapat diperluas dan dioptimalkan lebih lanjut untuk menghadapi tantangan dengan lebih efektif di masa yang akan datang.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui penerapan penggunaan aplikasi simpatika sebagai sistem informasi manajemen di MA Aisyiyah Sungguminasa Kabupaten Gowa. Penelitian tersebut menerapkan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Data diperoleh dengan wawancara operator madrasah dan tenaga pendidik di MA Aisyiyah Sungguminasa Kabupaten Gowa, serta melalui riset dan dokumentasi. Sumber data dilakukan terdiri dari data primer dan sekunder. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa MA Aisyiyah Sungguminasa Kabupaten Gowa telah menerapkan penggunaan aplikasi simpatika sebagai sistem informasi manajemen antara lain:  1). Aplikasi Simpatika merupakan solusi terpadu yang menghimpun berbagai data informasi terkait sekolah, terutama fokus pada informasi guru dan tenaga kependidikan; 2). Aplikasi Simpatika memberikan kemudahan akses dan pengisian data bagi pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan melalui situs Google dengan NUPTKmemungkinkan penggunaan aplikasi satu kali per semester. Dengan pengisian biodata yang mencakup data pribadi, keluarga, riwayat kepegawaian, dan jenjang karir. 3). Pengawasan aplikasi simpatika dijalankan oleh operator madrasah yang menjadi suatu aspek krusial dalam memastikan kinerja optimal pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan di madrasah.

Abstract

Principals must possess managerial competence to effectively manage education. The learning digitalization program provides tools and resources that enhance the learning experience, broaden access, and increase interactivity, contributing to learners' understanding and skill development. Both managerial competence and learning digitalization contribute to improved teacher performance, learning outcomes, and the overall quality of education, enabling students to achieve the established graduate competency standards. This study aims to: 1) analyze the effect of the principal's managerial competence on achieving graduate competency standards at SMA Negeri 05 Makassar; 2) analyze the impact of the learning digitalization program on the achievement of graduate competency standards at SMA Negeri 05 Makassar; and 3) examine the combined effect of the principal's managerial competence and the learning digitalization program on the achievement of graduate competency standards at SMA Negeri 05 Makassar. This quantitative ex post facto research uses a managerial approach. The sample size consisted of 306 respondents, selected through a stratified random sampling technique. Data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed through descriptive and inferential statistics, employing simple and multiple linear regression analysis. The results indicate that: 1) the principal's managerial competence influences the achievement of graduate competency standards by 29.3%; 2) the learning digitalization program affects the achievement of graduate competency standards by 15.8%; and 3) both the principal's managerial competence and the learning digitalization program together have a positive and significant impact on achieving graduate competency standards by 34.8%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the planning, implementation, and supervision of Human Resource Management (HRM) at SMAIT Al-Fityan School Gowa, Gowa Regency. A qualitative approach with phenomenological methods is used to collect data through interviews, observations, and documentation from related parties. The results of the study show that MSDM planning involves several stages, such as recruitment through meetings, distribution of pamphlets, file collection, interviews, probationary periods, and announcements. The selection is carried out in two stages: administration and interview. Orientation lasts from a probationary period to basic and advanced training for six months. The placement of educators is adjusted to their expertise in teaching, communicating, mastering technology, and management. Training and development are divided into general and religious training. The implementation of MSDM in this school runs systematically and structured, especially in recruitment, selection, orientation, placement, as well as training and development of educators. Supervision is carried out by school principals, directors, education offices, and international supervisors (intertek). The implication of this study is the importance of more attention from the foundation, especially on continuous professional training and development, to improve competence and innovation in teaching methods. Thus, educators can increase competence, job satisfaction, and better career development opportunities

Abstract

This study aims to examine the development process of a PMRI-based module supported by the GeoGebra application for teaching geometric transformations, and to determine its validity, practicality, and effectiveness for students of class XIB at SMA Negeri 10 Gowa. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) design, following the ADDIE development model, which consists of five phases: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The resulting product is a PMRI-based instructional module integrated with GeoGebra for the topic of geometric transformations.The trial subjects were 21 students from class XIB. The instruments used in this study included expert validation sheets, student response questionnaires, teacher response questionnaires, learning implementation observation sheets, student activity observation sheets, and learning outcome tests. Findings from the limited-trial phase indicated that: (1) the validation scores for both the instructional materials and research instruments reached an average of 4.3, classified as highly valid, as all evaluated components fell within the interval 4 ≤ M ≤ 5; (2) the module demonstrated practicality, shown by the average student response rate of 90.4% and the teacher response rate of 90%, both categorized as positive; and (3) the module met the criteria for effectiveness, as evidenced by an average teacher performance score of 4.6 (very good), an average student activity percentage of 76% (good), and student learning outcomes achieving a mastery level of 85.8%. Based on the results of the limited trial, it can be concluded that the development of the PMRI-Based Module supported by GeoGebra for teaching geometric transformations at SMA Negeri 10 Gowa meets the established criteria for validity, practicality, and effectiveness.

Abstract

The purpose of the mini research is to find out the utilization of the quiz application in managing the summative assessment information system, researchers use qualitative methodology by observing and describing the object under study in the field specifically and in detail. Data collection researchers use observation, interview, and documentation methods.  Important findings from the research show that the quizizz application is an application that makes it easy for educators to check student performance results, facilitate archiving of lesson questions and student work effectively, quickly and the results are accurate. The quizizz application is still detected using a new application, so teachers are required to adjust to new features and improve their abilities. Meanwhile, the implementation of summative assessments manually is not very effective because some students are less careful in working on the questions given due to the monotonous appearance of the questions and paper, as well as the process of educators checking student answer sheets which takes a long time to check one by one so that the process of inputting their scores can be hampered.  In conclusion, the utilization of the quiz application is in accordance with applicable regulations and the implementation of summative assessment needs to be improved with interesting implementation methods and media,

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role, challenges, and strategies of Quality Assurance Centers in Islamic Higher Education Institutions. Using a qualitative descriptive method, the research explores how internal and external quality assurance systems are implemented to improve educational standards. Data were analyzed through document studies and literature reviews relevant to the quality assurance framework in higher education. The findings show that Quality Assurance Centers play a strategic role in ensuring academic, managerial, and ethical standards in line with Islamic values. However, various challenges arise, such as limited human resources, lack of commitment, and misalignment of regulations. To overcome these obstacles, strategic efforts are required, including strengthening internal systems, promoting a culture of quality, leveraging information technology, and enhancing governance and collaboration among stakeholders. The study concludes that the success of quality assurance in Islamic universities depends on consistent implementation, strong leadership, and stakeholder involvement to ensure sustainable improvement in educational quality.
