Abstract

This study aims to analyze the planning, implementation, and supervision of Human Resource Management (HRM) at SMAIT Al-Fityan School Gowa, Gowa Regency. A qualitative approach with phenomenological methods is used to collect data through interviews, observations, and documentation from related parties. The results of the study show that MSDM planning involves several stages, such as recruitment through meetings, distribution of pamphlets, file collection, interviews, probationary periods, and announcements. The selection is carried out in two stages: administration and interview. Orientation lasts from a probationary period to basic and advanced training for six months. The placement of educators is adjusted to their expertise in teaching, communicating, mastering technology, and management. Training and development are divided into general and religious training. The implementation of MSDM in this school runs systematically and structured, especially in recruitment, selection, orientation, placement, as well as training and development of educators. Supervision is carried out by school principals, directors, education offices, and international supervisors (intertek). The implication of this study is the importance of more attention from the foundation, especially on continuous professional training and development, to improve competence and innovation in teaching methods. Thus, educators can increase competence, job satisfaction, and better career development opportunities

Abstract

This study evaluates the implementation of the SAVA system as a digital-based quality management strategy at SDIT Ar-Rahmah, Indonesia, using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) evaluation model. The research was conducted through a qualitative descriptive approach, employing interviews, observations, and documentation, with data analysis following Miles and Huberman’s interactive model. The findings reveal that the SAVA system was adopted in response to contextual needs for systematic monitoring of academic and affective services. In terms of input, teacher training, adequate infrastructure, and strong parental involvement provided the foundation for implementation. The process dimension highlighted comprehensive academic strategies including teacher training, supervision, use of digital media, and project-based assessments alongside affective strategies such as daily Islamic practices, character-building programs, and social activities, all integrated into the SAVA system. The product dimension demonstrated measurable impacts: efficiency in report preparation, increased student motivation, and observable improvements in honesty, discipline, and cooperation. Despite these achievements, challenges remain, particularly the absence of a mobile version and the need for automatic notifications. Theoretically, this study contributes to the literature on educational quality management by showing how digital innovation can be systematically combined with values-based education in Islamic schools. Practically, it offers a best-practice model for holistic quality assurance, integrating academic excellence with character development through data-driven strategies.

Abstract

Abstract

This study evaluates the effectiveness of the Management Information System (MIS) for New Student Admissions (PPDB) at Pondok Pesantren Tahfizhul Qur’an An-Nail Gowa in improving administrative efficiency and service transparency. A qualitative evaluative case-study design was applied using the PIECES framework, covering performance, information, economy, control, efficiency, and service. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with seven purposively selected informants (five internal managers or committee members and two parents), direct observation, and documentation. The findings show that the web-based PPDB MIS accelerates registration, improves data accuracy, reduces paper-based administrative costs, and supports transparent and responsive services. Basic security controls, including HTTPS and separate applicant and administrator logins, were available; however, formal security procedures, automated backup, fine-grained authorization, dedicated IT personnel, and integrated payment verification were not yet fully established. Islamic management principles were used as an interpretive lens, particularly amanah in protecting data, tabayyun in verification, transparency in communication, and ta’awun in service. Overall, the system was generally effective, but structural and technical strengthening is required to ensure sustainable, accountable, and secure pesantren governance.

Abstract

His study aims to analyze the implementation of character education among students at MTsS Al-Parakkasi Polewali Mandar. Character education has become one of the essential strategies for developing students who possess noble character, discipline, responsibility, and a high level of social awareness. This descriptive qualitative study involved the principal, teachers, counseling teachers, homeroom teachers, and students as informants. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the implementation of character education is carried out through integrated planning, implementation, and supervision processes. At the planning stage, the madrasah integrates character values into its vision and mission, curriculum, teaching modules, and extracurricular activities. The implementation of character education is realized through classroom learning, religious habituation, teacher role modeling, social activities, and student discipline development. Supervision is conducted through behavioral monitoring, violation records, guidance and counseling services, and periodic evaluations involving homeroom teachers and the principal. The challenges encountered include differences in students’ characteristics, the influence of the social environment, consistency in habituation practices, and parental involvement. These challenges are addressed through collaboration among all members of the madrasah community and continuous guidance approaches. The implementation of character education has proven effective in fostering students’ discipline, responsibility, cooperation, social awareness, and religious behavior. This study contributes to strengthening a madrasah culture-based character education model that can be sustainably implemented to develop generations with noble character and exemplary personalities.
