Abstract

This research is motivated by the emergence of films that are inseparable from the development of technology and science so that they are able to create a great achievement in visual language in film art. The films that are made are certainly not just for entertainment, but there are messages, good things, and useful things that should be used as examples, which the scriptwriters or story writers of the film want to convey. The purpose of this study is to describe the moral values ??contained in the film KKN di Desa Penari (Luwih Dowo Luwih Medeni). This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method. The collection of research data uses data reduction techniques, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study explain the moral values ??contained in the film KKN di Desa Penari (Luwih Dowo Luwih Dowo).

Abstract

This research discusses spelling errors that are often experienced by elementary school students. These errors usually occur when writing an essay. Errors that often occur in writing essays are errors in the use of capital letters and punctuation. Spelling is a set of guidelines or standards that must be followed when writing so that readers can understand sentences and writers can achieve the desired goals. This research uses qualitative research with descriptive research. The subjects in this research were class IV students, class IV teachers. Data collection techniques in this research used observation, interviews and documentation techniques. The data analysis technique used is reading markers. The results of this research prove that there are still 4 students who still use capital letters incorrectly in people's names and place names. Efforts to reduce errors in using capital letters and punctuation in writing essays are 1) literacy, 2) Writing practice, 3) teaching basic rules for using capital letters and punctuation. This research should be used as a basis for students' attention and knowledge in using capital letters and punctuation in Indonesian language learning.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the writing skills of PBSI FKIP UMK students in Semester 4 of the 2024/2025 Academic Year using the Mind Mapping Collaborative Problem Based Learning (PBL) method. The problem faced by students is the lack of effective and structured writing skills. The solution offered is to use the Mind Mapping Collaborative PBL method which can help students improve their writing skills. This study uses a classroom action research method with 30 PBSI FKIP UMK students in Semester 4 of the 2024/2025 Academic Year. The instruments used are writing tests, observations, and interviews. The results of the study indicate that the Mind Mapping Collaborative PBL method can significantly improve students' writing skills. Students can improve their ability to organize ideas, structure writing, and develop effective sentences. The conclusion of this study is that the Mind Mapping Collaborative PBL method can be an effective alternative to improve students' writing skills.

Abstract

The background of this research issue is the low learning outcomes of students in the Discourse course caused by ineffective learning methods. This study aims to improve learning outcomes in the Discourse course through the Project Based Learning (PjBL) method for students. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with a cycle consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The results of the study indicate that the PjBL method can improve student learning outcomes in the Discourse course. Student learning outcomes increased significantly after the implementation of the PjBL method, both in terms of knowledge, skills, and attitudes. This study also shows that the PjBL method can improve students' critical and creative thinking skills. The implication of this study is that the PjBL method can be an alternative effective learning method to improve student learning outcomes in the Discourse course. Further research is needed to determine the effectiveness of the PjBL method in other courses and at different levels of education.

Abstract

This study aims to identify errors in the use of Indonesian spelling in scientific journal articles of students at Master of Primary Education, Muria Kudus University published in the Jurnal Prakarsa Paedagogia. A qualitative approach with a descriptive method was used with a focus on two articles published in 2024 as data sources. Data collection was carried out through literature and documentation reviews using inventory techniques, careful reading, and note-taking. The analysis was carried out using a qualitative descriptive method, referring to the Enhanced Spelling Guidelines (EYD) Edition V of the Indonesian Language. The results of the study recorded 99 spelling errors in Indonesian, including 22 spelling errors, 16 errors in the use of capital letters, 27 errors in the use of punctuation, 7 incorrect loan words, 14 preposition errors, 5 repeated word errors, and 8 conjunction errors.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the misuse of standard words in narrative essays written by sixth-grade elementary school students, focusing on morphological aspects, particularly affixation, reduplication, and compound word. The research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were collected from 23 narrative texts written by students at SDN Soneyan 02 through a writing assignment themed around the month of Ramadan. The findings revealed various morphological errors. Affixation errors included the omission of affixes and incorrect separation of affixes. Reduplication errors appeared in the use of numerical and symbolic instead of proper repeated forms. In addition, compound word errors were found in the form of incorrectly joined compound words. These findings indicate students' limited understanding of standard word formation rules, influenced by informal language use and low exposure to formal written texts. The study concludes that these errors stem from insufficient conceptual understanding of morphology, the influence of informal communication habits, and a lack of consistent corrective feedback from teachers. This research is limited to morphological errors and suggests that future studies explore syntactic, semantic, or pragmatic aspects for a more comprehensive understanding of students’ linguistic competence.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the effectiveness of elementary school learning based on local cultural wisdom through the use of the traditional song "Cublak-Cublak Suweng." It is expected that this research will contribute to the field of elementary education as well as the preservation of local culture, while also offering an innovative and contextual learning model.The song "Cublak-Cublak Suweng" was chosen as a learning medium because it contains important moral values that are easily understood by children. This research seeks to investigate the effectiveness of culture-based learning through the use of "Cublak-Cublak Suweng" among elementary school students.A qualitative research method was used, with data collected through observation, interviews, and relevant literature analysis. The results indicate that the song "Cublak-Cublak Suweng" is effective in instilling values such as cooperation, honesty, and togetherness in children. It also enhances student engagement and interest in learning activities.In addition, the song helps children to understand and appreciate their local culture, which is essential for the development of their cultural identity. Regularly singing this song in educational and family settings also strengthens children's social and emotional connections with their culture.This study concludes that the use of "Cublak-Cublak Suweng" as a medium for culture-based learning is an effective strategy to support the character and cultural development of young learners. Integrating this song into the elementary school curriculum can significantly contribute to the formation of character, moral values, and cultural understanding in children.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the forms of locutionary, illocutionary, and perlocutionary speech acts found in President Prabowo's inaugural speech, and to describe the functions of locutionary, illocutionary, and perlocutionary speech acts in President Prabowo's inaugural speech. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method. The data source in this research consists of primary data in the form of President Prabowo's inaugural speech available on www.youtube.com/@indosiar, as well as secondary data obtained from journals, theses, and books. The data collection techniques used are observation and note-taking techniques. In conducting this research, the theory from Austin regarding locutionary, illocutionary, and perlocutionary speech acts in President Prabowo's inaugural speech is employed. The results of this research yield data in the form of locutionary, illocutionary, and perlocutionary speech acts in President Prabowo's inaugural speech as President of the Republic of Indonesia in 2024. It can be concluded that 16 locutionary acts were obtained, which include declarative locutionary acts (news) 12 data, imperative locutionary acts (commands) 3 data, and interrogative locutionary acts (questions) 2 data. Then, 43 illocutionary acts were found, comprising assertive illocutionary acts (assertions) 8 data, directive illocutionary acts (invitations) 17 data, commissive illocutionary acts (commitments) 5 data, and expressive illocutionary acts (feelings) 14 data. Furthermore, 3 data were found in perlocutionary acts. The conclusion drawn from this research is that illocutionary acts are the most dominant. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Mendeskripsikan bentuk tindak tutur lokusi, ilokusi, dan perlokusi yang terdapat dalam pidato perdana Presiden Prabowo dan Mendeskripsikan fungsi tindak tutur lokusi, ilokusi, dan perlokusi yang terdapat dalam pidato perdana Presiden Prabowo. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data pada penelitian ini merupakan data primer berupa pidato perdana pelantikan Presiden Prabowo pada akun www.youtube.com/@indosiar, serta sumber data sekunder yang didapatkan dari jurnal, skripsi, dan buku. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan ialah teknik simak dan teknik catat. Dalam mengerjakan penelitian ini menggunakan teori dari Austin yang membahas tindak tutur lokusi, ilokusi, dan perlokusi pada pidato pelantikan Presiden Prabowo. Hasil dari penelitian ini merupakan data dalam bentuk tindak tutur lokusi, ilokusi, dan perlokusi pada pidato perdana pelantikan Prabowo sebagai Presiden Republik Indonesia tahun 2024. Dapat disimpulkan tindak tutur lokusi diperoleh sebanyak 16 data yang meliputi tindak lokusi deklaratif (berita) 12 data, tindak lokusi imperatif (perintah) 3 data, dan tindak lokusi interogatif (pertanyaan) 2 data. Selanjutnya ditemukan sebanyak 43 data tindak tutur ilokusi yang meliputi tindak ilokusi asertif (penegasan) 8 data, tindak ilokusi direktif (mengajak) 17 data, tindak ilokusi komisif (komitmen) 5 data, dan tindak ilokusi ekspresif (perasaan) 14 data. Kemudian ditemukan sebanyak 3 data pada tindak tutur perlokusi. Kesimpulan yang ditarik pada penelitian ini yakni tindak tutur ilokusi merupakan tindak tutur yang paling mendominasi.

Abstract

Kemampuan bernalar kritis harus benar-benar menjadi perhatian khusus karena merupakan unsur yang sangat penting bagi pelajar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) menganalisis pengaruh model pembelajaran abad 21 terhadap kemampuan bernalar kritis dan (2) mendeskripsikan model pembelajaran abad 21 yang paling efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan bernalar kritis. Metode penulisan yang digunakan dalam artikel ini adalah meta analisis terhadap 10 artikel hasil penelitian yang terpublikasi pada google scholar terindeks sinta dan scopus. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan protokol PRISMA ((Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic reviews and Meta-Analyses) yang dikumpulkan pada tanggal 15 – 26 April 2024. Berdasarkan hasil analisis effect size secara keseluruhan diperoleh nilai sebesar 1,418 yang dikategorikan dalam efek sangat besar. Adapun nilai effect size ditinjau berdasarkan jenis model pembelajarannya menunjukkan nilai paling besar pada model PjBL sebesar yang dikategorikan dalam efek sangat besar. Secara keseluruhan, besarnya nilai mean effect size menunjukkan penerapan model pembelajaran abad 21 atau nonkonvensional terutama model PjBL efektif dalam memberikan kontribusi yang baik terhadap kemampuan bernalar kritis siswa sehingga dapat dijadikan alternatif model pembelajaran yang efektif untuk diterapkan dalam pembelajaran IPA di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the relationship between the principal's leadership and students' literacy skills at SDN 3 Truwolu, Ngaringan District, Grobogan Regency. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method, with the school principal as the research subject. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews and documentation studies. The results of the research show that there is a positive or significant relationship between the principal's transformational leadership and increasing students' literacy skills, as shown by the results of educational report cards which have increased significantly from the previous year. The principal's effective leadership in motivating and empowering teachers, creating comprehensive literacy policies, providing adequate resources, and creating a conducive school environment has had a significant impact on the growth of students' literacy skills at SDN 3 Truwolu.
