Abstract

Bullying merupakan salah satu bentuk perilaku menyimpang yang berdampak serius terhadap perkembangan psikologis siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh layanan informasi dalam menurunkan perilaku bullying di sekolah. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain quasi eksperimen tipe Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 42 siswa kelas VII, terdiri dari kelompok eksperimen (20 siswa) dan kelompok kontrol (22 siswa). Instrumen yang digunakan adalah skala perilaku bullying yang dikembangkan berdasarkan jenis-jenis bullying: verbal, fisik, relasional, dan siber. Hasil analisis data menggunakan paired sample t-test menunjukkan adanya penurunan signifikan skor perilaku bullying pada kelompok eksperimen (p = 0,000). Sebaliknya, kelompok kontrol mengalami peningkatan. Temuan ini membuktikan bahwa layanan informasi efektif dalam menurunkan perilaku bullying di sekolah dan dapat dijadikan sebagai program preventif dalam layanan bimbingan dan konseling.

Abstract

This study examines the determinants of students academic resilience, particularly the impact of social support and gratitude in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic. A total of 240 students were selected as participants, with data collected through surveys by distributing online questionnaires. The instruments adopted were the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support, The Gratitude Questionnaire-6, and the Academic Resilience Scale. Furthermore, the data collected were analyzed using multiple regression and path analysis. The results showed that: 1) social support did not influence gratitude (F(1,238) = .488, p = .485; p>0.01) and academic resilience (F(1,238) = .568, p = .452; p>0.01), 2) gratitude had a significant impact on academic resilience (F(1,238) = 6.854, p = .009; p<0.01). Despite reduced social support from parents, lecturers, and the community during the pandemic, internal protective factors proved instrumental in navigating challenging circumstances and fostering the cultivation of academic resilience.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas layanan konseling kelompok dengan teknik reframing dalam mereduksi perilaku impulsive buying pada mahasiswa Prodi Bimbingan dan Konseling Pendidikan Islam (BKPI) UINSU angkatan 2023 yang menggunakan Shopee dan Tiktok Shop. Perilaku impulsive buying dapat menimbulkan dampak negatif, seperti masalah keuangan, rendahnya kontrol diri, serta ketidakstabilan emosi yang berpengaruh terhadap kesejahteraan mahasiswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen dengan desain one group pre-test post-test. Sampel penelitian berjumlah tujuh (7) mahasiswa pengguna aplikasi Shopee dan Tiktok Shop yang memiliki tingkat impulsive buying tinggi. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa skala impulsive buying yang diberikan sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Perlakuan berupa layanan konseling kelompok dengan teknik reframing ditujukan untuk membantu mahasiswa mengubah sudut pandang yang maladaptif menjadi lebih rasional dan adaptif terhadap perilaku belanja daring. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya penurunan skor impulsive buying setelah layanan diberikan. Rata-rata skor pre-test sebesar 48,57 menurun menjadi 31,00 pada post-test. Hasil uji Wilcoxon menghasilkan nilai signifikansi 0,018 < 0,05 yang berarti terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Dengan demikian, layanan konseling kelompok dengan teknik reframing efektif dalam mengurangi perilaku impulsive buying mahasiswa. Temuan ini memperlihatkan bahwa konseling kelompok berbasis reframing dapat menjadi strategi intervensi yang bermanfaat dalam membantu mahasiswa mengendalikan dorongan berbelanja secara impulsif, meningkatkan regulasi diri, serta membangun pola pengambilan keputusan yang lebih sehat.

Abstract

The severity of challenges and limitations experienced by children with autism can lead to caregiver stress and various difficulties for their parents. This research aimed to reduce parenting stress by offering support within a psychoeducational group in a Special School including 24 parents of autistic children. In this context, a quasi-experimental design was adopted using a purposive sampling method. The measuring tool used was the parenting stress scale, such as difficult child and parent-child dysfunctional interaction. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using an independent sample t-test. The results showed that there were significant differences in parenting stress between the psychoeducation (F (1.22) = 8.091; t = 2.863; p <0.05) and the control group (F (1.22) = 0.002; t = 0.370; p > 0.05). The psychoeducation group had lower parenting stress in the post-test (n = 10; M = 9, the 5.60; SD = 13.729) as compared to the pre-test condition (n = 10; M = 120.60, SD = 23.959). The implications contributed to parents' ability to minimize parenting stress, enhancing a positive environment to maximize the developmental outcomes for children with autism.

Abstract

Penelitian yang telah dilakukan berjudul “Efektivitas Layanan Konseling Individu dengan eknik Miracle Question dalam Meningkatkan Resiliensi Siswa Broken Home” yang dilatarbelakangi oleh temuan lapangan bahwa sejumlah siswa broken home mengalami permasalahan psikologis, seperti rendahnya motivasi belajar, kesulitan mengelola emosi, dan kecenderungan menarik diri dari lingkungan sosial. Kondisi tersebut menunjukkan perlunya intervensi untuk meningkatkan resiliensi mereka. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas layanan konseling individu dengan teknik miracle question dalam meningkatkan resiliensi siswa broken home. Metodologi penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain One Group Pre-test-Post-test. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa SMA Negeri 13 Medan yang berasal dari keluarga broken home dengan jumlah sampel 3 siswa yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket resiliensi, sedangkan analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji Paired Sample t-test melalui SPSS versi 30. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa (1) telah terjadi peningkatan skor rata-rata resiliensi siswa broken home (2) layanan konseling individu dengan teknik miracle question terbukti efektif untuk meningkatkan resiliensi siswa broken home. Berdasarkan pada temuan penelitian diatas maka layanan konseling individu dengan teknik miracle question, layak diterapkan oleh guru BK sebagai satu solusi untuk meningkatkan resiliensi siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to determine learning independence which is influenced by the learning motivation of new students. A total of 460 new students of class 2019 were involved in this research. The instrument used was a scale of self-regulated learning and a scale of learning motivation. The data analysis used is the assumption test, hypothesis test, and difference test. The results show 1) based on the assumption test that the research data is proven normality and linearity; 2) based on the hypothesis test that there is a positive relationship between learning motivation and self-regulated learning (r = 0.770; p <0.01), and there is an effect of learning motivation on self-regulated learning (R² = 0.592; p <0.01); 3) based on different tests that there are differences in self-regulated learning based on student demographic factors [F = 1.321, p <0.05].Learning Motivation

Abstract

This research is aimed at the importance of students having academic resilience in helping their educational success. This study used a descriptive quantitative research design. For the collection of respondents, the proportionate stratified random sampling method was used so that 187 class IX students were obtained with 17 representative students per class. The instrument used in this study is the resilience scale, which is adapted from several aspects of resilience described by Reivich and Shatte (2002) (in Nashori & Saputro, 2021). Based on the results of the analysis in the field, it was found that there was a decrease in student academic resilience. The results of the research conducted the factor that most influences the decline in student academic resilience is unstable emotion regulation in students.

Abstract

It is apparent that students’ perceptions of the online learning experience during the pandemic led to the development of coping abilities to deal with stress. This research aims to explore coping mechanisms that Batak and Javanese students in Medan City used to minimise stress related to online learning difficulties during the COVID 19 pandemic. A total of 671 students participated in the study by completing a self-reported survey online. This research is qualitative research with a thematic analysis approach. The findings were categorized into two main themes: 1) online learning difficulties (consisting of 3 subthemes: technical problems, task overload, emerging negative emotions); 2) overcoming online learning difficulties (consisting of 3 subthemes: patience, prayer, and parental support). This research implies that the coping strategies students use can help them survive adversity during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the efforts of Counseling Guidance teachers in overcoming the behavior of students who play true, because there are still many students who often play true as seen by us at this time, there are those who participate in promiscuity, are lazy to study and others. Of course, in this study, researchers discussed how the counseling teacher's efforts to overcome the behavior of students who skipped school in an effective way carried out by the counseling teacher. This research leads to a qualitative descriptive research method, the data of which was taken from interviews with 2 existing sources. And the results of this study were: According to all informants, it was concluded that the counseling teacher's efforts to deal with students who skipped school were to approach the counseling teacher to students and provide a service with group counseling services and group guidance.

Abstract

Permasalahan regulasi emosi pada remaja dapat berdampak negatif terhadap perilaku dan perkembangan mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik sosiodrama dalam meningkatkan regulasi emosi siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan desain Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 16 siswa kelas VIII yang dipilih secara purposif, dengan pembagian kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa angket regulasi emosi. Hasil analisis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan regulasi emosi setelah mengikuti layanan. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa teknik sosiodrama dalam bimbingan kelompok efektif dalam membantu siswa meningkatkan regulasi emosinya.
