Abstract

Dalam era digital yang terus berkembang, peran seorang guru menjadi semakin krusial dalam membimbing dan menginspirasi generasi masa depan. Selain itu peran kepala sekolah juga sangat di butuhkan untuk mendukung para guru untuk menjadi guru yang ideal, peran kepala sekolah ada untuk menerapkan program- program untuk guru. Adapun program-program untuk menjadi guru ideal yang diciptakan oleh kementrian pendidikan yaitu salah satunya Program guru penggerak, program ini melatih para guru untuk mengembangkan sumber daya manusia yang berketerampilan tinggi dan berwawasan luas. Artikel ini mengulas karakteristik dan peran seorang guru ideal dalam menghadapi tantangan teknologi saat ini. Dari keahlian teknologi hingga kemampuan adaptasi terhadap perubahan, artikel ini menggambarkan bagaimana guru yang ideal mampu memadukan keahlian tradisional dengan inovasi digital untuk menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang dinamis dan memberdayakan bagi para siswa. Artikel ini juga membahas strategi pengajaran yang relevan dengan teknologi, seperti penggunaan platform daring, pembelajaran berbasis proyek, serta kolaborasi antar-guru. Di tengah derasnya informasi di era digital, guru ideal dijelaskan sebagai orang yang tidak hanya memberikan pengetahuan, tetapi juga membantu siswa mengembangkan keterampilan kritis, pemecahan masalah, serta literasi digital yang kuat. Dengan fokus pada hubungan manusiawi dan penerapan teknologi yang bijak, yang merangkum esensi dari seorang guru yang dapat mengilhami, memotivasi, dan membimbing siswa untuk sukses dalam era digital yang terus berubah.

Abstract

Marginalisasi generasi muda merupakan permasalahan sosial yang sering terjadi di Indonesia, yang dipengaruhi oleh kurangnya kontrol dan bimbingan orang tua terhadap anak-anak mereka. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan deskriptif untuk mengungkap peran orang tua dalam perkembangan moral remaja. Melalui wawancara, observasi, dan pencatatan, data diperoleh untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor seperti kepemimpinan, pelatihan, dan dukungan yang dimainkan oleh orang tua. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menggambarkan peran orang tua dalam membentuk moral generasi muda, termasuk memberikan arahan yang benar, pelatihan moral, menjadi faktor pendorong, dan memberikan dukungan serta apresiasi. Orang tua dianggap sebagai sekolah pertama bagi anak-anak mereka, di mana mereka tidak hanya memberikan nasihat tentang hubungan interpersonal, tetapi juga membentuk landasan moral melalui nilai-nilai agama dan etika. Solusi untuk mencegah perilaku menyimpang remaja melibatkan pendorongan nilai-nilai agama, moral, dan etika sejak dini, dengan menghukum pelanggaran dan meningkatkan kegiatan keagamaan. Mendorong remaja untuk melibatkan diri dalam aktivitas positif dapat membentuk ketaatan terhadap aturan dan agama. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa remaja cenderung bersosialisasi negatif, merokok, minum alkohol, keluar malam, dan mencuri. Oleh karena itu, peran orang tua sangat penting dalam memantau komunikasi anak-anak mereka untuk mencegah dampak negatif dan menjaga kesejahteraan generasi muda sepanjang hidup mereka.

Abstract

In 21st-century education, writing skills in Indonesian language learning are no longer simply defined as the ability to construct words and sentences, but rather as a higher-order thinking process involving analysis, reflection, and in-depth interpretation of experiences and social contexts. The integration of a deep learning approach into writing instruction offers a new paradigm oriented toward students' understanding of meaning, creativity, and critical thinking skills. Through this literature review, researchers analyzed various recent research findings on the application of deep learning in the context of teaching Indonesian language writing in schools. The results of the review indicate that deep learning strategies can encourage students to understand the structure and meaning of texts more reflectively, develop original ideas, and build connections between personal experiences and socio-cultural contexts. Furthermore, teachers play a crucial role in creating a collaborative learning environment that stimulates students' critical thinking and creative expression. Deep learning-based writing instruction has also been shown to strengthen higher-order thinking skills and shift the learning paradigm from mere knowledge reproduction to meaning construction.

Abstract

Writing is a core competency in Indonesian language learning, playing a crucial role in developing students' communicative abilities. This study aims to analyze various approaches, strategies, and methods for teaching Indonesian writing that are effective in improving students' communicative competence in elementary and secondary schools. This literature review examines previous research from national and international journals, educational textbooks, and policy documents related to Indonesian language teaching. The analysis shows that writing instruction that emphasizes the writing process (writing process approach), project-based learning, and the application of digital technology significantly contributes to students' ability to convey ideas, utilize vocabulary, and organize text structures effectively. Furthermore, the integration of reading activities and classroom discussions has been shown to support the improvement of students' oral and written communication skills. This study emphasizes the importance of a holistic approach, which focuses not only on the technical aspects of writing but also on the development of critical thinking skills, creativity, and effective communication skills. In conclusion, structured, interactive, and contextualized writing instruction can optimally foster students' communicative competence. These findings provide implications for Indonesian language teachers in designing relevant and innovative writing learning strategies.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of the use of social media as a medium for language learning for students. Field facts where the use of social media in Indonesia shows that Indonesia is the country with the most social media users. Not a few schools and universities in Indonesia utilize technological advances as one of the media in learning, one of which is language education. The research method used is a qualitative method, using literature studies, namely examining the impact of the use of social media in learning Indonesian, both regarding positive and negative effects. This is also motivated by the use of social media which has recently been widely misused by students. The results of the study show that the use of social media in learning Indonesian for students has a variety of complex impacts. On the one hand, social media offers various benefits, such as high accessibility to learning materials, ease of interacting with peers and teachers, and increasing learning motivation. In addition, social media can also enrich students' learning experiences through a variety of creative and interactive content. However, on the other hand, uncontrolled use of social media can have negative impacts, such as distraction, invalid information, and the formation of poor language habits. The conclusion of the study is that the use of social media in learning Indonesian has great potential to increase the effectiveness of learning. However, its success depends greatly on how social media is utilized.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of feedback in formative assessment on improving student learning outcomes in private junior high schools in Makassar City. The research method used is a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group design. The sample consisted of 80 eighth grade students who were divided into two groups: the experimental group (40 students) who received in-depth formative feedback and the control group (40 students) who only received minimal feedback. Data were collected through learning outcome tests (pretest and posttest), classroom observations, and student perception questionnaires. Data analysis was carried out using a t-test to measure differences in learning outcomes between the two groups. The results showed that the experimental group experienced an increase in scores of 17.3 points, while the control group only increased by 7.5 points. More specific and reflective formative feedback contributed significantly to improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Digital comics have developed as a modern literacy medium that is not only entertaining but also contributes to the preservation of local literature and culture. This study explores the role of digital comics in introducing and preserving local wisdom through innovative visual and narrative approaches. The results of the literature review indicate that digital comics are able to adapt folklore, legends, and cultural values ​​into a format that is more attractive to the younger generation. In addition, interactive features in digital comics allow readers to better understand and appreciate the cultural context being raised. The advantages of accessibility and visual appeal also contribute to expanding the reach of local literature to a wider audience. Thus, digital comics can be an effective means of maintaining the existence of local literature and culture amidst technological developments and globalization, ensuring that cultural heritage remains relevant and can be enjoyed across generations.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the effectiveness of interactive games in improving digital literacy of students at the senior high school (SMA) level, especially in Makassar City. The method used in this study is quantitative with a quasi-experimental design, which is designed to compare two groups of students. The experimental group received gamification-based learning, while the control group followed conventional learning methods. A total of 120 students from SMA Negeri 17 Makassar and SMA Negeri 5 Makassar were involved in this study, which were then divided into two groups. For data collection, this study involved a digital literacy test consisting of a pre-test and post-test, along with observations and questionnaires that explored students' perceptions regarding their experiences. The results of the analysis showed a significant increase in digital literacy scores for the experimental group compared to the control group. The average score on the post-test of the experimental group was recorded at 82.5, while the control group only had an average score of 72.3. Through the t-test, a significant difference was found (p <0.05), indicating that the learning method with interactive games was proven to be more effective in improving students' digital literacy. In addition, the results of the questionnaire showed that 87% of students found it easier to understand the lesson material through interactive games, and 82% of students felt more motivated to learn.

Abstract

The development of communication technology, especially social media, has brought significant changes in the use of language, including slang. Slang, which initially developed in limited communities, is now spreading rapidly through various digital platforms. This study aims to examine changes in the structure and meaning of slang in social media based on a literature review. The results of the study show that slang has undergone morphological, syntactic, and semantic modifications influenced by user creativity and the need for faster and more efficient communication. In addition, social media is a catalyst in the spread and normalization of the use of slang in formal and informal communication. This study also discusses the impact of slang on the language of the younger generation and its implications for the development of the Indonesian language. This study is expected to provide insight for academics, educators, and language observers in understanding the dynamics of slang in the digital era

Abstract

Objective: This study investigates the influence of digital comic-based instructional media on students' narrative writing skills at SMP Muhammadiyah Rappang. The research aims to assess the effectiveness of digital comics in enhancing students' ability to construct well structured, coherent, and creative narrative texts. Method: A quasi experimental research design was applied, involving pre-test and post-test assessments of students' narrative writing skills. Data were collected through direct observations, student writing evaluations, and teacher feedback. The study measured improvements in key aspects of narrative writing, including structure, coherence, vocabulary use, and creativity. Results: The findings reveal that digital comic-based media significantly improve students' narrative writing skills compared to conventional teaching methods. Students exposed to digital comics demonstrated better organization of ideas, increased engagement in writing activities, and enhanced creativity in storytelling. However, several challenges were identified, including teachers' limited technological proficiency and restricted access to digital resources, which affected the optimal implementation of digital comics in the classroom. Novelty: This study highlights the potential of integrating digital comics into writing instruction to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes. It recommends the development of culturally relevant digital comics, increased teacher training in digital literacy, and improved technological infrastructure in schools. Additionally, strengthening pedagogical strategies for utilizing digital comics in writing instruction is crucial. These findings emphasize the importance of adopting innovative, visually engaging media to foster students' creativity and improve their writing proficiency in secondary education.
