Abstract

The objectives of this study are 1. To analyze the implementation of coaching-based academic supervision for elementary school teachers in Telaga District, including strategies, methods, and challenges faced in its implementation, 2. To identify the impact of coaching-based academic supervision on strengthening elementary school teachers' citizenship attitudes, such as attitudes of understanding rights and obligations, responsibility, and empathy, 3. To explore the experiences and perceptions of teachers and principals regarding the effectiveness of coaching-based academic supervision in improving professionalism and internalization of citizenship values. 4. To prepare strategic recommendations for optimizing coaching-based academic supervision as a sustainable coaching model in order to strengthen teachers' citizenship attitudes in elementary school environments. This study uses a qualitative method. Data collection was carried out through interviews, observations and documentation. The subjects of this study were principals and teachers. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of coaching-based academic supervision in Telaga District has been running effectively with a collaborative and participatory approach. The principal acts as a mentor who encourages teachers to develop through constructive reflection and feedback. This supervision is integrated with the learning community (CUSTOM) which strengthens the culture of professionalism and mutual learning. Between teachers. In addition, coaching-based supervision has a positive impact on teachers' citizenship attitudes. Teachers become more reflective in their role as character educators, and more aware of integrating citizenship values ​​such as tolerance, mutual cooperation, and responsibility in learning. This strengthens the role of teachers as agents of instilling Pancasila values ​​in elementary schools

Abstract

This research aims to describe and analyse the strengthening of character education through the Jumpa Berlian (Jumat Pagi Bersih-Bersih Lingkungan/Friday Morning Environmental Clean-up) program among state elementary school students in Posigadan Sub-district, Bolaang Mongondow Selatan Regency. The program serves as a strategic effort to instill character values through environmentally-based activities conducted regularly and participatively. A qualitative approach with a multiple case study design was employed, focusing on three schools: SDN Momalia 3. SDN Pilolahunga, and SDN Luwoo. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation, with data triangulation used to verify the validity of findings. The results showed that the Jumpa Berlian program significantly contributes to instilling character values such as democracy, nationalism, love of peace, cooperation, patriotism, and environmental awareness. The program's success is supported by factors such as the principal's commitment, teacher collaboration, and a school culture that promotes habituation of character values. However, challenges remain, including limited cleaning equipment, uneven student participation, and time constraints. Adaptive strategies implemented by schools, such as activity innovations, student role rotations, and reward systems, have helped maintain program sustainability and effectiveness in character development. These findings reinforce the relevance of the ecological citizenship theory as a conceptual foundation for environmentally based character education.

Abstract

The purpose of this study to (1) Transformation in learning Life Skill at SD Negeri Tonala, Posigadan District, South Bolaang Mongondow Regency. (2) Implementation of Learning Life Skill at SD Negeri Tonala, Posigadan District, South Bolaang Mongondow Regency. This research was conducted at SD Negeri Tonala, Posigadan District, South Bolaang Mongondow Regency, which has been established since 1979 and is accredited A. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with interview, observation, and documentation techniques. Data were collected from the principal, teachers, students, and parents to determine the implementation of life skill learning in schools.The research results show (1) Transformation in learning Life Skill at SD Negeri Tonala, Posigadan District, South Bolaang Mongondow Regency, including through (a) Self-awareness (b) personality formation (c) independence. (2) Implementation of Learning Life Skill at SD Negeri Tonala, Posigadan District, South Bolaang Mongondow Regency, among others, through (a) personal skills (b) social skills (c) intellectual skills. Suggestions are expected to further improve the implementation of learning programs. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi program pencegahan tiga dosa besar pendidikan, yang meliputi perundungan, kekerasan seksual, dan intoleransi, di SMP Negeri 9 Gorontalo. Fokus kajian meliputi bentuk pelaksanaan program, respon warga sekolah, hasil yang dicapai, serta hambatan yang dihadapi dalam pelaksanaannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas kepala sekolah, guru, dan siswa yang dipilih secara purposive. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis dengan tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi program pencegahan tiga dosa besar pendidikan di SMP Negeri 9 Gorontalo dilakukan melalui sosialisasi, kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, integrasi dalam pembelajaran, serta penguatan tata tertib sekolah. Respon warga sekolah umumnya positif, terlihat dari adanya kesadaran akan pentingnya pencegahan perilaku negatif tersebut. Namun, hambatan yang dihadapi meliputi kurangnya pemahaman sebagian siswa, keterbatasan sarana pendukung, serta tantangan dalam pengawasan perilaku di luar sekolah. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa keberhasilan program sangat bergantung pada konsistensi pelaksanaan, dukungan semua pihak, dan adanya strategi pengawasan yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The community service program conducted by lecturers and students of the Civic Education (PPKn) Undergraduate Program at Gorontalo State University at SMK Negeri 4 Gorontalo aimed to foster students’ awareness and appreciation of diversity values through educational, reflective, and participatory approaches. This program was designed as a strategic effort to strengthen students’ understanding, attitudes, and behaviors toward cultural, religious, and social diversity within the school environment. The implementation method employed a participatory research approach based on observation and the distribution of a diversity questionnaire covering cognitive, affective, and conative dimensions. The questionnaire was used to map students’ perceptions of tolerance, solidarity, and attitudes toward differences, which then served as the foundation for organizing interactive activities such as national dialogue sessions. The evaluation results indicated that students of SMK Negeri 4 Gorontalo demonstrated a positive understanding of diversity values, with the majority showing openness, tolerance, and readiness to actively contribute to maintaining unity. Nevertheless, it was found that affective and conative aspects still required reinforcement so that diversity values would not only be understood cognitively but also internalized and practiced in daily life. Overall, this community service activity successfully enhanced multicultural awareness and strengthened students’ national character as young generations committed to unity in diversity.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the implementation and inhibiting factors of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) implementation at SMP Negeri 6 Satap Telaga Biru. The P5 project is part of the Independent Curriculum, which is designed to shape students' character based on six dimensions: faith and fear of God, global diversity, cooperation, independence, critical reasoning, and creativity. Data in this descriptive qualitative research were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Based on the analysis, the P5 has been implemented for three years through the "Sustainable Lifestyle" theme. However, the lack of creativity and discipline of students, low enthusiasm in participating in projects, and the non- optimal role of teachers as learning facilitators hindered the implementation. Therefore, collaboration between teachers, students, and schools is essential to achieve the proper implementation. In conclusion, the implementation of P5 at SMP Negeri 6 Satap Telaga Biru has been implemented properly, even though it still requires strengthening and fostering students' character. Proyek P5 merupakan bagian dari Kurikulum Merdeka yang dirancang untuk membentuk karakter siswa berdasarkan enam dimensi Profil Pelajar Pancasila, yaitu: beriman dan bertakwa kepada Tuhan YME, berkebhinekaan global, bergotong royong, mandiri, bernalar kritis, dan kreatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi P5 telah berjalan selama tiga tahun dan dilaksanakan melalui tema-tema seperti “Gaya Hidup Berkelanjutan”. Meskipun kegiatan telah dilaksanakan, ditemukan beberapa kendala, seperti kurangnya kreativitas dan disiplin siswa, rendahnya antusiasme dalam mengikuti proyek, serta belum optimalnya peran guru sebagai fasilitator pembelajaran. Kesimpulannya, implementasi P5 di SMP Negeri 6 Satap Telaga Biru sudah berjalan, namun masih memerlukan penguatan dari segi pelaksanaan dan pembinaan karakter siswa. Oleh karena itu, kolaborasi antara guru, siswa, dan pihak sekolah menjadi kunci penting dalam keberhasilan program ini.

Abstract

The impact of social media such as YouTube, WhatsApp, Tiktok, Instagram, Facebook and so on has positive and negative impacts on students. Positive impacts, for example, will have creativity, have innovation in the development of science, and be used as an online business. The negative impact of foreign culture on students has reached an alarming stage because there is a tendency for students to have forgotten the culture of their own people. The culture of following along with Appearance or how to dress, following tick-tock trends, style of language in speaking, and shopping online, and always playing online games will affect the volume of brain cells so that the level of intelligence will decrease. Based on the above problems, the researchers conducted outreach to students in the private Madrasah Aliyah Hall, Pinogaluman District, North Bolaang Mongondow Regency with the aim of (1) strengthening and inculcating national character values for students in private Madrasah Aliyah, Pinogaluman District, Regency Bolaang Mongondow Utara. (2) Increasing students' awareness of their behavior while in the Madrasah environment. (3) Building a good cooperative relationship between teachers and parents of students. After carrying out the Mentoring and Socialization activities for students, we plan to do a mapping to find out how successful the teacher is in guiding his students.

Abstract

A child is one of the creatures entrusted by God to be cared for, guided and given affection. One of the rights of children is to get an education, and teaching both at home, school and in the community. The child also has the right to have legal protection of his / her self both physically and mentally. Children who are vulnerable to physical or sexual violence are also entitled to legal protection. Gorontalo, especially the number of sexual violence against children, is increasing, this is clearly one of the problems faced by the government. Therefore, collaborative community service conducted by lecturers and students by involving education units in SMP Negeri 3 Limboto is considered very important. The implementation method is packaged in the form of pengbadian socialization prevention of sexual violence in SMP Negeri 3 Limboto Anak. Its purpose is to provide understanding and education on how important it is to protect children's rights and prevent children from the dangers of sexual violence.

Abstract

Research to find out the principal's policy in character formation at SMK N 1 Paguyaman Pantai, Boalemo Regency. This study uses a descriptive research type with a qualitative approach. The location of this research was conducted in Bubaa Village, Paguyaman Pantai District, Boalemo Regency, with data sources obtained from several informants such as the principal, vice principal for curriculum, subject teachers and students at SMK N Paguyaman Pantai. Data collection was carried out using observation, interview and documentation methods. The researcher acted as an information digger with the aim of obtaining both primary and secondary data sources. The results of this study explain that the policy of the principal of SMK N 1 Paguyaman Pantai in forming student character has been going well. This can be seen from his role in the aspects of adjustment, process aspects and function aspects. Before entering the new school year, the principal prepares a teaching and learning implementation plan at the school together with educators and education staff, parents and the school committee. In the discussion, the principal also emphasized the importance of internalizing character education in learning. The principal also evaluates the implementation of teaching and learning in the school to find out whether the agreed plan is implemented or not. The character building strategy carried out at SMK N 1 Paguyaman Pantai, namely by prioritizing exemplary attitudes, habituating the creation of conducive conditions, and integration and internalization. All of these attitudes have been implemented well in the school environment.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning activity and achievement through the implementation of the Role Playing learning method in the Civic Education (PPKn) subject for Class X.5 students at SMA Negeri 2 Gorontalo. The background of this study is the low level of student engagement, which is primarily caused by the dominance of teacher-centered lectures and the lack of interactive learning media. This research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design, conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The research subjects were 33 students. Data were collected through observation sheets measuring student learning activity and formative tests to assess learning outcomes. The results indicated that the Role Playing method effectively enhanced student engagement, with activity levels increasing from 30% in Cycle I Meeting 1 to 82% in Cycle II Meeting 2. Likewise, student learning mastery improved significantly, from 25% to 85%. These findings suggest that the Role Playing method is effective in creating a more interactive and enjoyable learning atmosphere while also fostering student participation, confidence, and conceptual understanding in Civic Education. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa melalui penerapan metode pembelajaran Role Playing pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn) di kelas X.5 SMA Negeri 2 Gorontalo. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah rendahnya keterlibatan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran yang masih didominasi oleh metode ceramah satu arah dan minimnya variasi media pembelajaran. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, masing-masing terdiri atas tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 33 siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi aktivitas belajar siswa dan evaluasi hasil belajar dengan menggunakan instrumen lembar observasi dan tes formatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode Role Playing mampu meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa dari 30% pada siklus I pertemuan I menjadi 82% pada siklus II pertemuan II. Ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa juga meningkat secara signifikan, dari 25% menjadi 85%. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa metode Role Playing efektif dalam menciptakan suasana pembelajaran yang interaktif, menyenangkan, serta mendorong partisipasi aktif, kepercayaan diri, dan pemahaman konsep siswa dalam pembelajaran PPKn.
