Abstract

Peserta didik masih mengalami kesulitan dalam menyelesaikan masalah fisika, khususnya pada materi Termodinamika yang membutuhkan pemahaman konseptual dan kemampuan berpikir analitis. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah serta efektivitas asesmen formatif self-diagnostic learning logs pada model PBL dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa pada materi Termodinamika. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu Quasi Experimental Design yaitu Nonequivalent Control Design. Penelitian ini menggunakan satu kelas eksperimen dan satu kelas kontrol, masing-masing terdiri dari 36 peserta didik kelas XI MIPA di salah satu SMA Negeri di Kota Bandung. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah, tes formatif serta angket respon peserta didik terhadap asesmen formatif self-diagnostic learning logs pada model PBL. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan meliputi uji normalitas, uji hipotesis menggunakan uji statistik nonparametrik Mann–Whitney U Test, serta perhitungan N-Gain dan effect size untuk melihat peningkatan dan pengaruh perlakuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi asesmen formatif self-diagnostic learning logs pada model PBL terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the need to develop student worksheets based on Geospatial Technology as a learning resource for physics students in high school. This study focuses on quantitative research using questionnaires that are analyzed using descriptive statistics. This study involved 23 respondents spread across several schools in Padang, West Sumatra and 32 students in one of the high schools in Padang City, West Sumatra. The instrument in this study uses a needs questionnaire with several statements addressed to teachers and students. Based on the teacher needs questionnaire, as many as 60.9% of the 23 teachers do not know this technology, so only 39.1% know it but only 8.7% apply it in learning. The results of the needs questionnaire analysis show that student worksheets developed with Geospatial Technology, especially on the topic of renewable energy sources, are needed and are expected to help students achieve their desired learning goals. Based on this, the use of technology as a learning resource is urgently needed by students, so it is necessary to conduct a needs analysis in developing student worksheets based on Geospatial Technology.

Abstract

ANALYSIS OF SCIENTIFIC HABITS OF MIND ENERGY ISSUES INVENTORY (SHOMEII) INSTRUMENT: RASCH MODELAbstractScientific Habits of Mind (SHOM) is a thinking characteristic that individuals have in solving problems and making decisions. SHOM can be accomplished in learning such as physics education through discussion, debate, and issue-based learning. However, the instrument for measuring SHOM in physics education is still immature. The purpose of this research is to develop and identify the quality of the SHOM instrument with energy problems analyzed using Model Rasch. This instrument is known as the Scientific Habits of Mind Energy Issue Inventory (SHOMEII). The development was carried out with the 3D+1I model (defining, designing, developing and implementing), involving 280 high school students with an average age of 17 years and came from West Java, Indonesia. The instruments used were a validation sheet and a SHOMEII consisting of 22 items with 4 answer choices based on the level of confidence. The results of the analysis show that SHOMEII has excellent reliability, good validity, and varying levels of difficulty. Therefore, SHOMEII can be implication as an instrument to measure students' SHOM abilities in physics education.AbstrakScientific Habits of Mind (SHOM) merupakan karakteristik berpikir seperti ilmuwan dalam melakukan sesuatu, memecahkan masalah dan mengambil keputusan. SHOM dapat dilatihkan dengan diskusi, debat dan pembelajaran berbasis isu. Akan tetapi, instrumen untuk mengukur SHOM dalam pendidikan fisika kurang berkembang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan dan mengidentifikasi kualitas instrumen SHOM dengan isu energi yang dianalisis Model Rasch, dikenal dengan Scientific Habits of Mind Energy Issues Inventory (SHOMEII). Metode penelitian ini adalah pengembangan dengan model 3D+1I (defining, designing, developing dan implementing) yang melibatkan 280 peserta didik SMA berasal dari Jawa Barat, Indonesia. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar validasi dan SHOMEII terdiri dari 22 item dengan 4 pilihan jawaban berdasarkan tingkat kepercayaan. Hasil analisis, SHOMEII memiliki reliabilitas yang sangat baik, validitas yang baik dan tingkat kesukaran yang beragam. Oleh karena itu, SHOMEII dapat diimplikasikan sebagai instrumen untuk kemampuan SHOM peserta didik pada pendidikan fisika.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, dan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Instruction (PBI) dengan Jobsheet pada mata pelajaran Gambar Konstruksi Bangunan kelas XI SMK Negeri 7 Surabaya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pre experimental design dengan desain penelitian one shot case study dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas XI TGB SMK Negeri 7 Surabaya tahun ajaran 2017/2018. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan tes, dan angket. Analisis data pada penelitian ini adalah analisis keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dan analisis hasil belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Instruction (PBI) dengan Jobsheet didapatkan hasil rata-rata total dari semua aspek yaitu sebesar 84,5% oleh guru dan 87,3% oleh siswa. Keduanya termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik. Hasil belajar siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Instruction (PBI) dengan Jobsheet memperoleh rata-rata nilai kelas sebesar 86,03. Dari perhitungan didapat nilai thitung sebesar 10,58 dan ttabel sebesar 1,697. Jadi, dapat disimpulkan rata-rata hasil belajar menggambar pondasi siswa kelas XI TGB setelah pelaksanaan model pembelajaran Problem Based Instruction (PBI) dengan Jobsheet lebih besar atau sama dengan 75 (dapat diterima).Kata kunci: Model Pembelajaran PBI, Media Jobsheet, Hasil Belajar, Gambar Konstruksi BangunanAbstract This study aims to determine the implementation of learning and student learning outcomes by using Problem Based Instruction learning model with the jobsheet on the subject of Building Construction Drawing at class XI SMKN 7 Surabaya. Research method used is pre experimental design with one shoot case study design. The subjects of the study were students of class XI TGB SMKN 7 Surabaya of the 2017/2018. The instruments data collection use tests, and questionnaires. Data analysis in this study is the analysis of the implementation of learning and analysis of the students learning outcomes. The result showed the implementation of learning by using Problem Based Instruction learning model with the jobsheet obtained the result of the total average of all aspects of 84,5% by teachers and 87,3% by students. Both fall into very good category. Student learning outcomes using Problem Based Instruction learning modelwith the jobsheet obtained an average grade value of 86,03. From calculationgot value from tarch equal to 10,58 and ttable equal to 1,697. So, it can be concluded that the average of learning result of drawing the foundation of students class XI TGB after the implementation of Problem Based Instruction learning model with the jobsheet is greater than or equal to 75 (can be accepted).Keywords: PBI Learning Model, Jobsheet, Learning Outcomes, Building Construction Drawing

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to assess students in terms of subjects at MI Attahiriyah II to be more effective and efficient in the data input process. There have been no errors in the calculation of student course scores. Document storage is more effective in order to make it easier for employees to input data on student learning scores at MI Attahiriyah II. From the results of the ongoing analysis, there are problems in terms of assessment of report cards such as the management of subject matter and the search and renewal of subject matter that is less effective and wastes a lot of time on this. With the existing problems the author makes an application for the report card assessment system at MI Attahiriyah II using desktop java programming which is intended both for students who need data quickly and efficiently such as material questions, grades and data for both students and teachers.

Abstract

Learning to Support the Implementation of Concepts for Real-World Problem Solving can be achieved by applying outcome-oriented learning that produces products as problem-solving solutions. Design Thinking is a strategy that can be utilized to support the achievement of these goals. This research aims to specifically examine the stages and characteristics of design thinking as a learning strategy oriented towards enhancing creativity. This research is a literature review study conducted using the narrative review method. The source of information used is secondary data in the form of literature related to design thinking in international journals. The literature selected is deemed capable of addressing the research questions. The results of this study indicate that design thinking is a learning process that can foster creativity. Design thinking involves a divergent thinking process in the problem-finding stage (empathy and design) and ideation. Creativity in both problem-finding and ideation resides in the realm of creative thinking. Problem-finding refers to the process of discovering various ways to obtain information about users. Ideation refers to the process of generating various solutions to solve user problems. Various literature studies demonstrate the role of design thinking in generating creative ideas and products to solve problems.
