AbstrakPendidikan merupakan bagian terpenting dalam membentuk manusia yang berkualitas. Kesiapan guru dalam meningkatkan pembelajaran dilihat dari sumber belajarnya. Buku sebagai sumber belajar yang pada umumnya digunakan guru dan peserta didik. Buku yeng relatif tebal dan berat mengakibatkan peserta didik malas mempelajarinya. Booklet adalah buku kecil dan sederhana yang dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran biologi khusunya pada materi struktur dan fungsi jaringan tumbuhan. Pada materi ini terbilang sulit oleh peserta didik, sehingga dibutuhkan pengembangan booklet pada materi struktur dan fungsi jaringan tumbuhan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pentingnya pengembangan booklet pada materi struktur dan fungsi jaringan tumbuhan. Jenis penelitan yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif kualitatif dan studi literatur. Jenis pengumpulan data dari hasil angket observasi peserta didik, guru dan hasil ulangan harian peserta didik. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan sebesar 100% guru membutuhkan dan setuju dikembangkan booklet pada materi struktur dan fungsi jaringan tumbuhan. Sebesar 90,3% peserta didik setuju dikembangkan booklet struktur dan fungsi jaringan tumbuhan.Kata kunciBooklet, Pengembangan, Struktur dan fungsi jaringan tumbuhanAbstractEducation is essential part of forming a quality human being. Teachers' readiness to improve learning is seen from the learning source. Books as a learning resource are generally used by teachers and students. Teachers and students generally use books as a learning resource. Books are relatively thick and heavy, resulting in students being lazy to learn them. Booklets are small and simple books that can be used in learning biology, especially plant tissue structure and function. This material is fairly difficult for students, so the development of a booklet on the structure and function of plant tissue is needed. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative and literature studies. This type of data collection is from the results of the student's observation questionnaire, the teacher and the results of the student daily tests. Based on research conducted, 100% of teachers needed and agreed to develop a booklet on the structure and function of plant tissue. Berpikir kritis merupakan kemampuan untuk menganalisis permasalahan, membuat keputusan dan mengevaluasi suatu informasi yang relevan sehingga mendapatkan kesimpulan yang dapat dipertanggungjawabkan. Berpikir kritis dapat dikembangkan melalui proses pembelajaran. Keterampilan berpikir kritis dapat diukur menggunakan instrument penilaian berupa soal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan validasi isi Soal Tes Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis Peserta Didik Kelas XII SMA tentang Materi Bioteknologi. Validasi isi pada soal tes berpikir kritis terdiri atas aspek konten ilmu, aspek konstruk, dan aspek bahasa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis deskriptif kuantitatif berdasarkan perhitungan Uji Gregory. Data validasi isi diperoleh dari dua ahli. Hasil validasi ahli dihitung menggunakan Uji Gregory didapatkan kesimpulan pada soal tes keterampilan berpikir kritis tentang materi bioteknologi adalah kategori validasi isi sangat tinggi dengan skor 0,92.

Validitas merujuk pada derajat dari fakta dan teori yang mendukung interpretasi skor tes, dan merupakan pertimbangan paling penting dalam pengembangan tes. Peneliti melakukan penelitian dengan tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan instrumen tes keterampilan berpikir kritis pada materi mutasi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa analisis statistik deskriptif. Analisis data digunakan untuk mengolah data dari hasil validasi ahli mengenai materi, konstruksi, bahasa dan keterampilan berpikir kritis dengan menggunakan teknik validasi isi Uji Gregory. Hasil validasi pada Tabel 1 menunjukkan total skor dari validator 1 adalah 43,74 dan skor dari validator 2 adalah 47,09. Dengan total skor senilai 45,38. Sehingga diperoleh rata-rata dari validator 1 adalah 2,91 dan dari validator 2 adalah3,02. Apek Ilmu, Bahasa dan Konstruk didalam angket validitas ahli menunjukkan 8 butir soal secara keseluruhan dikategorikan cukup relevan dengan rata-rata skor 3,02. Didapatkan kesimpulan bahwa hasil validitas dengan Uji Gregory dalam instrumen soal pada materi mutasi adalah kategori validitas sangat tinggi dengan skor 0,8-1= Validitas sangat tinggi.

One of the 21st Century skills that must be possessed by students is critical thinking skills. Critical thinking can make students able to develop ideas, formulate and solve problems in making decisions. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of critical thinking skills of students on cell division material at SMAN 1 V Koto Kampung Dalam. This type of research is descriptive quantitative research. The sample in this study was 30 students of class XII MIPA SMAN 1 V Koto Kampung Dalam which consisted of four classes. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. The instrument used is a question sheet in the form of a valid description (essay). Data analysis technique using Microsoft Excel. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the critical thinking skills of class XII students are still in very low qualifications with an average of 40.42%. The existence of these results is expected to provide information about critical thinking skills so that teachers can apply appropriate learning strategies and models in developing students' critical thinking skills.

Based on PISA data, it shows that the scientific literacy position of Indonesian students is still in the last 10th rank compared to other countries. This shows the lack of skills of Indonesian students in solving PISA questions because in the learning process the assessment instruments used in schools have not reached the criteria for scientific literacy competence. This study aims to produce an assessment instrument based on environmental-change science literacy in class X students that is valid, practical, has varying levels of difficulty, has good discriminatory power, and is reliable. This type of research is research and development with a 4-D development model. The research subjects consisted of 47 students of class X of SMAN 16 Batam and the validators consisted of 2 lecturers of FMIPA UNP and 1 teacher of SMAN 16 Batam. This study resulted in a logically valid scientific literacy-based assessment instrument (85.26%). The results of the practical test of scientific literacy-based assessment instruments by teachers and students respectively were an average score of 82.77% (teachers) and 82.44% (students). The results of the analysis of instrument items using ANATES Version 4.09 are: on multiple choice questions of 0.40-0.69 (medium to high correlation), and very high reliability (0.90); on the questions of description, compound, and attitude of 0.34-0.80 (low to high correlation), and very high reliability (0.81). In the test of discrimination power of questions and the level of difficulty of the questions, the scores are quite varied.

Education has a broad meaning and an important role. One of the efforts teachers can make to improve education is to use a good and proper medium of study so that learners can readily understand biological material. The study aims to develop a learning medium of antibiotics that can serve as a supplement to the bioprocess of cells. The study uses a 4-D model of development limited to three stages define, design, and development. Research data is qualitative and quantitative. Validation results obtained a valiance value of 85.33% with very valid criteria. The result of the learner's response test is 82.19% with very positive criteria and the teacher's response test is an average of 90.34% with very positive criteria. It may thus be concluded that the compounds developed are so valid and so practical as to merit their use as a visual supplement.

Critical thinking skills can be developed through the learning process. Biotechnology material requires students' critical thinking skills in the learning process. SMAN 1 Payakumbuh has done critical thinking skills in the learning process but it is still not optimal, and data on critical thinking skills are still unknown. This study aims to analyse the level of Critical Thinking Skills of Class XII Students of SMAN 1 Payakumbuh about Biotechnology Materials. This type of research is descriptive research with simple random sampling technique. The instrument used in this study was a test of students' critical thinking skills, and a validity test questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is quantitative descriptive analysis and qualitative descriptive analysis. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, the data obtained that the results of the critical thinking skills of class XII students of SMAN 1 Payakumbuh were analysed per indicator. The conclusion of this study is the level of critical thinking skills of each indicator of class XII students of SMAN 1 Payakumbuh at low qualification qualifications with an average of 50.59%.

Pembelajaran biologi bersifat teoritis sering menjadi masalah yang dihadapi oleh siswa. Seharusnya pembelajaran biologi tidak hanya terfokus pada teori yang ada namun menggunakan fakta-fakta ataupun permasalahan yang berkaitan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari siswa sehingga lebih mudah untuk memahaminya. Topik bahasan pelajaran biologi yang begitu banyak dan pembelajaran yang terfokus pada guru saja menjadi permasalahan bagi siswa. Oleh sebab itu, sebaiknya pembelajaran harus memakai metode maupun model pembelajaran yang bervariasi, sinkron dengan materi yang diajarkan. Pembelajaran PBL merupakan strategi pembelajaran yang berpusat pada siswa, menuntut siswa untuk aktif dan peka terhadap pemecahan masalah yang ada di sekitarnya. Metode yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini yaitu meta-analisis. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu 20 artikel yang merupakan artikel jurnal pendidikan terbitan 10 tahun terakhir mengenai pengaruh model problem based learning terhadap hasil belajar siswa SMA. Sampel penelitian yang digunakan adalah 5 artikel jurnal pendidikan yang memenuhi kriteria yaitu memiliki nilai hasil pretest dan posttest. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu dengan cara menghitung effect size dari setiap artikel yang terbit tahun 2017-2022. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model problem based learning terhadap hasil belajar kognitif dan psikomotor siswa biologi. Hasil analisis data yang didapatkan yaitu adanya terdapat pengaruh model problem based learning terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada pelajaran biologi.

The fingerprint pattern (dermatoglyphics) of each individual is not the same. Fingerprint patterns are often used as an identification tool in criminal cases and disease diagnosis. Fingerprint patterns for health diagnosis are usually diseases caused by genetic factors, for example hypertension. The purpose of this study was to describe the characteristics of fingertip dermatoglyphics of hypertensive patients. The research sample was 60 people consisting of 30 people with hypertension who visited the DR. M. Djamil Padang and controls 30 non-hypertension (normal) people from Biology FMIPA UNP students. Simple random sampling. The research variables are tendril patterns on the fingertips, the number of tendrils on the fingertips and the atd angle on the palms. The Chi-square test was used to analyze the tendril pattern data of hypertension patients. To compare the number of tendrils and the angle atd, a t-test was used. The results showed that the arch fingerprint pattern is a unique character in hypertensive patients.

The current development of education requires teachers to be able to innovate in making and creating various learning media. However, based on the results of observations, the learning media used were not effective and were not able to accommodate students to be active in the learning process. Development of Electronic Student Worksheets (e-LKPD) with a scientific approach to coordination system material for class XI high school students is an attempt to overcome problems found in the learning process. As well as helping students better understand the learning material, especially the coordination system material, because it includes material that is considered difficult. The development of this e-LKPD uses three stages of the 4d model, namely define, design, and develop. The subjects of this study consisted of two biology lecturers at Padang State University, one biology teacher and 31 students in class XI Science at State High School 1 Sungai Aur. The data collection instruments used were teacher interview questionnaires, student observation questionnaires, validity questionnaires, and practicality questionnaires. The results of e-worksheets validity test were 90.3% in the very valid category and the practicality test results were 91.4% in the very practical category. So that the developed e-worksheets meets the criteria and can be used in the biology learning process.
