Abstract

Kegiatan berwirausaha dalam membangun bengkel sepeda motor di daerah Parupuk Tabing, Padang, Sumatera Barat sangat perlu di realisasikan dan diaplikasikan kepada tuna karya khususnya. Permasalahan yang terjadi adalah banyaknya pemuda putus sekolah yang tidak mempunyai kerja dan susah untuk bersaing dalam dunia kerja. Tujuan dari kegiatan pelatihan di tempat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan minat usaha berwirausaha dalam membuka bengkel sepeda motor secara mandiri. Solusi yang ditawarkan oleh tim pengabdian kepada masyarakat, Jurusan Teknik Otomotif, FT-UNP adalah melakukan pelatihan kepada masyarakat baik itu pengetahuan, keterampilan dalam membuka lapangan pekerjaan khususnya wirausaha bengkel sepeda motor secara mandiri. Metode yang digunakan adalah observasi, pendekatan sosial, pelaksanaan kegiatan dan evaluasi kegiatan pelatihan. Materi yang diangkat dalam kegiatan pelatihan ini adalah pengenalan sepeda motor, overhoul sepeda motor konvensional dan injeksi, tune-up dan sistem CVT. Hasil dari kegiatan pelatihan adalah peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan pemuda tuna karya mengenai perawatan dan perbaikan sepeda motor. Rasa antusias dalam mengembangkan pengetahuan dan rasa ingin membuka bengkel secara mandiri untuk meningkatkan perekonomian. Tim memberikan hibah perlengkapan alat bengkel berupa kunci-kunci baik kunci umum yang digunakan maupun special tool yang digunakan pada jasa bengkel sepeda motor. Dilain hal juga dihibahkan alat penambal ban serta kompressor.

Abstract

The purposes of this study are to (1) describe the entrepreneurial spirit of automotive engineering students, (2) describe the motivation of the entrepreneurial spirit of automotive engineering students, and (3) see whether entrepreneurship and motivation have a relationship between For automotive engineering students This research is a descriptive analysis research. , regression and correlation, data collection was carried out using questionnaires and literature studies as additional data. In this study, the sample was 8th semester students as many as 35 students. Survey Results (1) The level of student entrepreneurship attitude for entrepreneurship is 71.36% in the "good" category. (2) while for motivation in entrepreneurship with a value of 76.64% with a level of "good" category. (3) Analyzing the relationship between entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship with product moment, obtained a score of 0.655, with a coefficient of determination of 53.40%, and it is known that the variable for attitude to entrepreneurship has an influence with the motivation variable for entrepreneurship with a value of 54.40%, and which has other influences. is the personal ability of students, environmental conditions, family and friends around them

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to design a simulator for a car air conditioning system as a learning medium, so that the learning objectives can be achieved properly and in accordance with the expected competencies. This design uses an electric motor drive to drive the AC system compressor so that it is easier to operate and does not produce air pollution and is made with a design that can be moved easily by having sturdy wheels. The electric motor is also equipped with an inverter that can adjust the rotation of the motor as in the conditions of a real car engine. This research model uses Research and Development which includes the stages: problem analysis, seeking information, designing a model, validating the design, evaluating the model, testing the model, revising the model, wider testing, finalizing the design. The results obtained are the creation of an AC simulator that has been validated by experts in terms of media and material in the very feasible category, then from the user side with 25 respondents giving a value in the very feasible category for use in learning. The increase in competency occurred by 23.90% with a comparison of the pretest value with the posttest value.

Abstract

Alumni data collection activities as material for recapitulating the data needed as the completeness of accreditation documents and performance evaluation documents for tertiary institutions. This will not be achieved if the data collection is still using manual methods such as contacting the graduates one by one. This activity will take up time and the data that has been collected so far is not optimal. The purpose of conducting this research is to develop information technology in tracing graduates using the Google form at the product validity testing stage. This research is development research using 4D models. The validation test was carried out at the development stage, for this reason, the research was limited to the product development phase only. The instrument used for the validation test is in the form of a validity questionnaire for the product being developed. Questionnaires will be distributed and then the product will be validated based on the statements that have been prepared beforehand. The validators who validate the product are 4 expert lecturers. The assessment is carried out based on material aspects and media aspects. The results of product research developed with an information technology approach are in the valid category. Not until this stage, the product that has been declared valid, then revised again based on suggestions by experts. It is hoped that after obtaining validation data for the product, the next step is to carry out practicality tests and effectiveness tests so that the product can be disseminated and can be used in education, especially in the graduate study tracer at the Department of Automotive Engineering FT-UNP

Abstract

Customers as consumers of products users need to pay attention to the satisfaction they get. The study in this research is about customer satisfaction which is part of the advantages of industrial business in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. The method used is a literature study. Data sources are articles in accredited national journals and reputable international journals. The findings show that the industrial revolution 4.0 changed the work system in an industry by utilizing the latest technology to increase competition and seek innovative strategies to achieve customer satisfaction. These findings are expected to provide information to business or corporate users, customers who use the products offered, and government agencies that participate in managing the industrial business so that they can create industrial business flows that are useful for the progress of a country's economy. Pelanggan sebagai konsumen dari pengguna produk perlu diperhatikan mengenai kepuasan yang didapatkan. Kajian dalam penelitian ini adalah mengenai kepuasan pelanggan yang merupakan bagian dari keunggulan bisnis industri pada era revolusi industri 4.0. Metode yang digunakan adalah literatur studi. Sumber data adalah artikel dalam jurnal nasional berakreditasi maupuan jurnal internasional bereputasi. Hasil temuan menunjukkan bahwa revolusi industri 4.0 merubah sistem kerja dalam suatu industri dengan memanfaatkan teknologi terkini dalam meningkatkan persaingan dan mencari strategi yang inovatif untuk mencapai kepuasan pelanggan. Temuan ini diharapkan menjadi informasi kepada pengguna bisnis atau perusahaan, pelanggan pengguna produk yang ditawarkan serta lembaga pemerintahan yang ikut mengelola bisnis industri sehingga bisa menciptakan arus bisnis industri yang berguna untuk kemajuan perekonomian suatu negara.

Abstract

The limitations of teaching materials are not equipped with motivating content and inappropriate learning strategies, which make students feel difficult in mastering the competencies they need. The purpose of this present study is to test the level of validity of the product developed in the form of a learning module. The development procedure used is the ADDIE model. Research data was obtained through observation, interviews, and research questionnaires. The research questionnaire is used to obtain the validity value of the product being developed. The validity test was carried out in the development phase, for this reason, this research stage describes only the development phase. Validity test data was obtained by distributing questionnaires to 5 expert validators consisting of 2 expert lecturers and 3 productive teachers. The results of the study show that teaching materials developed on a project basis have a valid category. Product development will continue with revisions provided by a team of experts. The steps to be taken after the validation stage are the practicality and effectiveness of the product being developed. Teachers can also develop and arrange teaching materials so that the use of this product is not limited to the competencies that are developed. There is a need for further research regarding the development of teaching materials to create teaching materials that can motivate students in learning.

Abstract

Learning requires supporting materials in the form of reliable teaching materials, one of which can be in the form of learning modules. So it is necessary to add project-based learning modules for the development of existing modules. The purpose of this research is to measure the validity, practicality, and effectiveness in the development of project-based heavy equipment technology modules. This research is included in the research and development (R&D) category, the ADDIE principle is used in this research model. Lecturers and students in automotive engineering were used as research subjects. The results of the project-based heavy equipment technology module development research fulfill the requirements of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. In its implementation, the validity aspect of module development scored 89.07% with very valid criteria, the practicality aspect scored 87.92% with very practical criteria. The knowledge test and skills test showed the effectiveness of module development, the results of the knowledge and skills test on 30 students achieved an average score of 86.67% with very high criteria.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi beberapa masalah diantaranya sistem PBT tidak dapat menampilkan visualisasi berupa audio, video, animasi serta gambar yang tidak jelas dan risiko kecurangan tinggi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perbedaan terhadap hasil pembelajaran sistem CBT dan PBT mata pelajaran PMKR di SMKN 1 Sumatera barat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif komparatif dengan metode analisis statistik menggunakan rumus uji beda yaitu t-test, teknik sampel mengunakan teknik simple random sampling, sampel diambil dari populasi kelas XI TKRO 1 dan 2 diambil masing-masing 20 siswa. Hasil Penelitian ini didapatkan Uji-t yaitu p-value = 0,005 < α = 0,05 maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima, artinya terdapat perbedaan hasil evaluasi pembelajaran mata pelajaran PMKR antara sistem CBT dan PBT di SMKN 1 Sumatera Barat. Maka disimpulkan evaluasi pembelajaran menggunakan CBT lebih unggul dari PBT serta meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. This research is motivated by several problems including the PBT system cannot display visualizations in the form of audio, video, animation and images that are not clear and the risk of fraud is high. The purpose of this study was to find out the differences in the learning outcomes of the CBT and PBT systems for PMKR subjects at SMKN 1 West Sumatra. This research is a comparative quantitative research with statistical analysis methods using a different test formula, namely t-test, the sample technique uses simple random sampling technique, samples are taken from the population of class XI TKRO 1 and 2, 20 students are taken each. The results of this study obtained the t-test, namely p-value = 0.005 <α = 0.05, then H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted, meaning that there were differences in the results of the evaluation of PMKR subject learning between the CBT and PBT systems at SMKN 1 West Sumatra. So it was concluded that learning evaluation using CBT is superior to PBT and improves student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Penggunaan kendaraan bermotor yang tinggi merupakan salah satu penyebab polusi udara yang merupakan akibat dari emisi gas buang pada kendaraan bermotor. Emisi gas buang terdiri atas Karbon Monoksida (CO), Sulfur (Sox), Nitrogen Oksida (Nox), Hidrokarbon (HC), air (H2O) dan juga Timbal. Beberapa zat tersebut merupakan zat yang berbahaya bagi kesehatan tubuh manusia dikarenakan pembakaran dari campuran bahan bakar dan udara di ruang bakar tidak terbakar secara sempurna. Oleh karena itu diperlukan solusi untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan ini. Salah satu solusinya yaitu dengan memilih komponen busi yang paling baik pada sistem pengapian. Penelitian ini membandingkan penggunaan busi ber-ground elektroda dengan busi standar. Terbukti dari hasil penelitian, bahwa penggunaan busi multi ground elektroda dapat menurunkan kadar karbon monoksida dan hidrokarbon, sementara kadar karbon dioksida mengalami peningkatan. High motor vehicle usage is one of the causes of air pollution, which results from exhaust emissions from motor vehicles. Exhaust emissions consist of Carbon Monoxide (CO), Sulfur (SOx), Nitrogen Oxides (NOx), Hydrocarbons (HC), water (H2O), and also Lead (Pb). Some of these substances are harmful to human health because the combustion of the fuel and air mixture in the combustion chamber is not complete. Therefore, a solution is needed to address this issue. One of the solutions is to select the best spark plug component in the ignition system. This research compares the use of spark plugs with a multi-ground electrode with standard spark plugs. The research results show that the use of multi-ground electrode spark plugs can reduce the levels of carbon monoxide and hydrocarbons, while carbon dioxide levels increase.

Abstract

Proses pembakaran yang tidak sempurna berdampak pada performa mesin yang menurun, dan akan berpengaruh terhadap emisi gas buang, daya dan torsi kendaraan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pemasangan Groundstarp terhadap emisi gas buang, daya dan torsi pada objek penelitian. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode eksperimen. Objek penelitian adalah sepeda motor New Vixion 2013. Instrumen penelitian adalah Dynamometer dan Gas Analyzer. Penggunaan Groundstrap berbahan kawat perak dapat menurunkan kadar HC emisi gas buang kendaraan pada putaran mesin idle sebesar 10, 09%. Selanjutnya dapat meningkatkan daya pada sepeda motor sebesar 1.75% dan torsi pada sepeda motor sebesar 2.21%. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah penggunaan Groundstrap mampu mengurangi emisi gas buang serta meningkatkan daya dan torsi pada kendaraan. The incomplete combustion process has an impact on decreasing engine performance, and will affect exhaust emissions, power and vehicle torque. The purpose of this study was to analyze the Groundstarp installation of exhaust emissions, power and torque on the research object. The research was conducted by experimental method. The research object was the 2013 New Vixion motorcycle. The research instruments were a Dynamometer and a Gas Analyzer. The use of Groundstrap made from silver wire can reduce the HC levels of vehicle exhaust emissions at engine idle speed by 10.09%. Furthermore, it can increase the power of the motorcycle by 1.75% and the torque on the motorcycle by 2.21%. The research results obtained are the use of Groundstrap can reduce exhaust emissions and increase the power and torque of the vehicle.
