Abstract

Getaran mesin yang berlebihan dapat mengganggu kenyamanan dalam berkendaraan, getaran tinggi menimbulkan kebisingan yang dapat mengganggu pendengaran ketika berkendaran. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis penggunaan roller rocker arm terhadap getaran, kebisingan dan temperature oli mesin pada sepeda motor 4 TAK. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen. Objek yang digunakan sepeda motor tiger revo 200 cc, instrumen yang digunakan yaitu vibration meter, sound level meter thermocouple. Untuk mendapatkan kesimpulan dari hasil pengujian penelitian ini mengunakan rumus statistik mean dan persentase. Setelah dilakukan perhitungan dari data yang di peroleh dapat di simpulkan terdapat penurunan getaran sebesar 4.21%, 12.85%, 5.58%, 11.58%. Kebisingan sebesar -0.63%, 0.11%, 0.90%, 1,55% dan temperature oli mesin sebesar 1.35 %, 1.43 %, 2.76 %, 13.67 %. Excessive engine vibration can interfere with driving comfort, high vibrations cause noise which can interfere with hearing when driving. The aim of this research is to determine and analyze the use of roller rocker arms on vibration, noise and engine oil temperature on 4-STRIKE motorbikes. This type of research is quantitative using experimental methods. The object used is a 200 cc Tiger Revo motorbike, the instruments used are vibration meter, sound level meter thermocouple. To obtain conclusions from the test results, this research uses statistical formulas for mean and percentage. After carrying out calculations from the data obtained, it can be concluded that there is a reduction in vibrations of 4.21%, 12.85%, 5.58%, 11.58%. Noise is -0.63%, 0.11%, 0.90%, 1.55% and engine oil temperature is 1.35%, 1.43%, 2.76%, 13.67%.

Abstract

Various kinds of research that has been conducted on the effect of problem-based learning on learning outcomes have varied and sometimes conflicting outputs, so it is necessary to carry out a meta-analysis. This article presents a meta-analysis regarding the impact of problem-based learning in improving student learning outcomes. This type of research is based on the source of meta-analysis in the form of experimental or quasi-experimental and observational research with a quantitative approach. Data analysis was seen from the effect size using a calculator for t-test. The subjects in the research are studies that are collected in the form of articles related to the purpose of the research. The results of the analysis of 26 article sources, obtained an average effect size of around 0.79 in the medium category. Problem-based learning is indeed effective in improving student learning outcomes. The implication of doing meta-analysis is to be able to find out more accurately about problem-based learning approaches that are effective in improving student learning outcomes as well as useful information for policy makers in the field of education.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to design instructional videos that will make learning easier for students. In this study the research and development (R&D) method was used and the subjects in this study consisted of material experts, media experts, and class XI students of Light Vehicle Engineering SMKN 1 West Sumatra. The data analysis technique of this research uses a quantitative descriptive technique, applies the results of product design in the form of learning video media, tests the level of validation and product feasibility on vehicle body electricity in light vehicle electricity subjects. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the design of the learning video for the vehicle body electrical system in the light vehicle electrical maintenance subject is very suitable for use as a learning medium because it can be accessed anywhere and anytime and can be viewed repeatedly. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk merancang video pembelajaran yang akan membuat belajar lebih mudah bagi siswa. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan metode research and development (R&D) dan subjek dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari ahli materi, ahli media, dan siswa kelas XI Teknik Kendaraan Ringan SMKN 1 Sumatera Barat. Teknik analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan teknik deskriptif kuantitatif, mengaplikasikan hasil perancangan produk dalam bentuk media video pembelajaran, menguji tingkat validasi dan kelayakan produk pada kelistrikan bodi kendaraan mata pelajaran kelistrikan kendaraan ringan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa Perancangan video pembelajaran sistem kelistrikan bodi kendaraan pada mata pelajaran pemeliharaan kelistrikan kendaraan ringan ini sangat layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran karena dapat di akses dimanapun dan kapanpun dan bisa dilihat secara berulang-ulang.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to provide assistance to students in understanding the material presented by the teacher during the period during course. The method applied in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The population group studied were students taking the Automotive Simulation and computing course in the odd semester of the 2021/2022 academic year, who were enrolled in the Automotive Engineering Education study program at the Faculty of Engineering, UNP. The results of the study show that the use of video media in the form of course via YouTube makes a positive contribution to the course process and understanding of the material for students. The responses from students to the use of video as a course tool for Simulation and Computing showed that 85.66% of them responded well, while 14.34% responded at a poor level. The results of the study show that 50.8% of students have a "good" rating, 8.73% get an "very good" assessment, and 40.47% are in the "enough" category.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the low work readiness achieved by students who graduated from SMK. The purpose of this study was to determine the work readiness of students of SMKN 1 Batipuh Tanah Datar Regency in terms of the role of guidance in providing career guidance at school. This type of research with a descriptive correlational approach aims to describe and interpret data about the influence of the role of guidance teachers on students' work readiness in the career guidance process at SMKN 1 Batipuh. The research subjects were class XI students of all fields of expertise registered in semester 1 of the 2022/2023 school year at SMKN 1 Batipuh, totalling 52 students. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistics with percentage calculations and simple regression. The hypothesis in this study is that there is a positive influence between the role of career guidance teachers on the work readiness of students of SMKN 1 Batipuh. The results shown by the value of rxy = 0.568 compared to the interpretation table r, the level of relationship is moderate. Significance obtained titung = 4.816. The test criteria used are tcount> ttable then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted based on the t-distribution table for degrees of freedom (dk = n-2) 33, obtained ttable = (α = 0.05) = 1.697. Thus Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, so the hypothesis states "There is a positive influence between the role of career guidance and counselling on the work readiness of Class XI students of all study programs at SMKN 1 Batipuh in the 2022/2023 academic year". The role of career guidance and counselling has an influence of 32.26% on the work readiness of students of SMKN 1 Batipuh and 67.74% of students' work readiness is influenced by other factors such as motivation, skills and others that exist in the student's social life environment.

Abstract

Meskipun terdapat kekurangan seperti ketersediaan meja dan kursi yang kurang memadai, serta kerusakan pada beberapa media pendidikan, secara keseluruhan, fasilitas tersebut masih memenuhi standar yang ditetapkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kondisi sarana dan prasarana praktik pemeliharaan chasis dan sistem pemindahan tenaga di SMK Negeri 1 Padang. Penelitian ini didesain dengan memakai metode deskriptif. Objek penelitian ini merupakan alat serta bahan praktik mata pelajaran praktik pemeliharaan chasis dan sistem pemindahan tenaga jurusan teknik kendaraan ringan teknik otomotif. Analisis uji kelayakan mencapai sekitar skor 77% pada taraf sangat layak serta sarana mencapai skor 89% pada prasarana dengan taraf sangat layak. Temuan ini menunjukkan dukungan yang baik untuk proses pembelajaran. Prasarana praktik cukup memadai, meskipun perlu peningkatan. Meskipun jarang dilakukan, pengadaan peralatan dan material dilakukan setiap tahun. Despite shortcomings such as inadequate availability of tables and chairs, as well as damage to some educational media, overall, the facilities still meet the established standards. This study aims to evaluate the condition of facilities and infrastructure chassis maintenance practices and power transfer systems at SMK Negeri 1 Padang. This study was designed using a descriptive method. The object of this research is tools and practical materials for chassis maintenance practice subjects and power transfer systems majoring in light vehicle engineering, automotive engineering. The feasibility test analysis achieved around a score of 77% at a very feasible level and the facilities achieved a score of 89% on infrastructure with a very decent level. These findings show good support for the learning process. The practical infrastructure is adequate, although it needs improvement. Although rarely carried out, the procurement of equipment and materials is carried out annually.

Abstract

This research aims to develop learning media in the form of an intelligent fuel system simulator, namely electronic fuel injection (EFI) on motorbikes, which focuses on developing the addition of Quick Response (QR) codes as additional information from the simulator, which is connected to video on the YouTube platform. With the help of the QR code, it is scanned using a smartphone so that the QR code can be connected directly to YouTube, providing additional information about the Smart simulator EFI system on motorbikes. This research was carried out by applying the Research and Development method and following the Plomp model, which consists of the following stages: (1) preliminary investigation, (2) designing and making a prototype, and (3) assessment. The existing simulator was developed by adding a QR code, and the QR code will be connected to videos that have been uploaded on the YouTube platform. QR codes are created using the online QR code generator platform. Assessment of the smart simulator is carried out through a questionnaire filled out by media experts and subject experts, as well as through observation sheets during smart simulator testing. The research results are a smart simulator product for EFI fuel on motorbikes equipped with a QR code. Evaluation by media and material experts shows that the smart simulator is declared valid. Meanwhile, the results of observations during product testing show that the smart simulator can describe the characteristics of the EFI fuel system on a motorbike according to the actual situation.

Abstract

Dalam pelaksanaan praktikum, sarana dan prasarana memiliki peran yang penting. Diperlukan pengelolaan serta kepatuhan terhadap Standar Nasional. Tujuan dari riset ini, untuk mengevaluasi cara pengelolaan dan tingkat kecocokan fasilitas praktik TBKR di SMK N 2 Payakumbuh. Jenis kajiannya deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif di mana Guru Produktif, Kepala Bengkel TBKR, Kaprog, Wakil Sarpras dan Kepala Sekolah sebagai subjek. Sedangkan objeknya yaitu fasilitas praktik Teknik Bodi Kendaraan Ringan. Tingkat kesesuaian prasarana hasil penelitian adalah sebesar 73%, sedangkan untuk sarana adalah sebesar 29%. Prasarana terbagi menjadi bagian perabot (32%), peralatan (24%), media pendidikan (12,5%), dan perlengkapan lainnya (33%). Sebanyak 51% dari keseluruhan fasilitas di bengkel TBKR memenuhi syarat dan cukup sesuai. In the implementation of practicum, facilities and infrastructure have an important role. The goal of the riset, Evaluate the management method and the level of suitability of the Light Vehicle Body Engineering practicum facility at SMK N 2 Payakumbuh. The type of study is descriptive with a qualitative approach in which Productive Teachers, Head of TBKR Workshop, Head of Workshop, Head of Infrastructure, Deputy Sarpras and Principal are the subjects. Meanwhile, the object is the Light Vehicle Body Engineering practicum facility. The level of infrastructure suitability of the research results is 73%, while for facilities it is 29%. Infrastructure is divided into furniture (32%), equipment (24%), educational media (12.5%), and other equipment (33%). As many as 51% of the total facilities at TBKR workshops meet the requirements and are quite suitable.

Abstract

Sekolah Menengah kejuruan (SMK) dalam menghasilkan tamatan yang memiliki kompetensi eksklusif, berupaya untuk mendidik tamatannya menggunakan pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang diperlukan untuk menjadi wirausahawan. Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan mengetahui kontribusi   pengalaman belajar dan motivasi belajar pada mata pelajaran PKK terhadap minat berwirausaha siswa di SMKN 1 Bukittinggi. Penelitian deskriptif dengan jenis korelasional serta survei. Subjek penelitian ini merupakan siswa kelas XI teknik otomotif SMKN 1 Bukitinggi dan populasi sebanyak 90 orang, menggunakan rumus slovin didapatkan sampel sebanyak 48 orang. Penelitian ini mengunakan kuesioner dalam bentuk Gform. Teknik analisis yang digunakan yakni uji regresi linear sederhana, uji regresi linear berganda, uji T, uji F, koefisien determinasi serta uji multikolinearitas. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah adanya dampak positif serta signifikan antara pengalaman belajar serta motivasi belajar terhadap minat berwirausaha siswa kelas XI Jurusan Teknik otomotif SMKN 1 Bukittinggi. Vocational High Schools (SMK) in producing graduates who have exclusive competencies, strive to educate their graduates using the knowledge and skills needed to become entrepreneurs. This study was conducted to determine the contribution of learning experiences and learning motivation in PKK subjects to students' entrepreneurial interests at SMKN 1 Bukittinggi. Descriptive research with correlational and survey types. The subjects of this study were class XI automotive engineering students of SMKN 1 Bukitinggi and a population of 90 people, using the slovin formula, a sample of 48 people was obtained. This study used a questionnaire in the form of Gform. The analysis techniques used were simple linear regression tests, multiple linear regression tests, T tests, F tests, coefficients of determination and multicollinearity tests. The conclusion of this study is that there is a positive and significant impact between learning experiences and learning motivation on the entrepreneurial interests of class XI students of the Automotive Engineering Department of SMKN 1 Bukittinggi.

Abstract

Light vehicle engine maintenance is an important subject in automotive vocational education. However, several problems need to be overcome, such as the lack of student involvement in learning, which creates a gap between theoretical and practical learning. To overcome this problem, a project-based learning implementation plan (LIP) was developed which has been proposed as an approach capable of integrating theory and practice, as well as increasing student involvement in learning. This research aims to evaluate the practicality of product development in the form of a project-based LIP on light vehicle engine maintenance. This study uses an R&D approach as well as the ADDIE model procedure. The subjects in this study were 5 experts who came from productive teachers. The instruments used are interview sheets for observation activities and instruments in the form of response questionnaires to obtain product practicality data. The analysis technique at the practicality criteria level uses a practicality value formula in percentage form. The research results have found that the practicality of the product implementation plan for project-based learning in light vehicle engine maintenance learning is based on teacher responses which have been analyzed so that it is stated in the convenient category. This study concludes that the project-based lesson plan developed has high practicality in learning light vehicle engine maintenance. Further research can test the effectiveness of project-based learning implementation plans on a larger scale by involving more students and educational institutions and integrating modern technologies such as augmented reality or virtual reality into the learning implementation plans.
