Abstract

In the implementation of partnerships between SMK and industry so far, there are still problems such as the link and match between SMK and the industrial business world which has not yet led to the formation of a synergistic partnership. Therefore, this research aims to analyze the study of partnership patterns between SMK and PT Advantage SCM. This research method uses a qualitative approach with a multi-case study. The location of this research is at SMK Negeri 1 Doko and SMK Yosonegoro Magetan. The results showed that the planning of the partnership pattern between SMK and PT Advantage SCM was by conducting an MoU and synchronizing the curriculum. Then require teachers and students to take part in internships. Furthermore, the process of collaborating with the graduate distribution program by placing students in banks throughout Indonesia that work with PT Advantage. Supporting factors are adequate facilities and infrastructure and enthusiasm and motivation from the school and industry. The impact of the implementation of the partnership pattern is that students become more enthusiastic and confident, SMK saves on practical costs and is more trusted by the community, and industrial business world can reduce costs for recruitment.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an Information and Educational Laboratory Management System application based on SIONLAP. SIONLAP is designed and developed following educational institution elements' duties, needs, and functions. The system is developed to convert manual procedures, forms, and workflows into digital formats. Workflow processes can be optimized and automated through the implementation of SIONLAP. Documents and records generated by SIONLAP will be in digital data form, which can facilitate data processing and strategic analysis for planning, organizing, implementing, documenting, monitoring, reporting, evaluating, and developing educational laboratories, thereby improving management and continuous services in support of the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. The research method refers to the waterfall method, with testing using the black box method. The results of the SIONLAP 2.0 application research show that it 1) provides more user-friendly user access management capabilities to facilitate users in higher education institutions with multi-role functions; 2) simplifies the data management and information workflow of equipment inventory; and 3) offers a laboratory asset rental feature as a means for higher education institutions to generate revenue from their laboratory assets

Abstract

This research aims to develop an example of gait pattern segmentation between normal and disabled individuals. Walking is the movement of moving from one place to another, where individuals with physical limitations on the legs have different walking patterns compared to individuals without physical limitations. This study classifies gait into three categories, namely individuals with assistive devices (crutches), individuals without assistive devices, and normal individuals. The study involved 10 subjects, consisting of 2 individuals with assistive devices, 3 individuals without assistive devices, and 5 normal individuals. The research process was conducted through three main stages, namely: image database creation, data annotation, and model training and segmentation using YOLOv8. YOLOv8-seg is the platform used to segment the data. The test results showed that the YOLOv8L-seg model achieved convergence value at the 23rd epoch with the 4th scenario in recognizing the walking patterns of the three categories. However, research on walking patterns of people with disabilities faces several obstacles, such as the lack of confidence or emotion of the subject during the data collection process, which is conducted at the location of the subject's choice. In addition, YOLOv8-seg showed consistent performance across the five models used, obtaining a maximum mAP50 value of 0.995 for mAP50 box and mAP50 mask.

Abstract

This paper discusses various optimization algorithms, a mathematics and computer science method essential to solving challenging real-world problems. The presented real-world scenario centers on a power system with dynamic unit commitment. Power systems involve many variables and constraints that can be changed. Metaheuristic optimization can be an effective method for finding an excellent solution to a problem. Dynamic unit commitment optimization is a critical aspect of power system operation. Dynamic unit commitment discusses determining the operating schedule of generating units and how much their production capacity is at each specific time interval to minimize production costs. This research aims to investigate the current trends and future challenges in applying metaheuristic optimization algorithms to power system problems, using the PRISMA approach to conduct a systematic literature review (SLR). This research starts by formulating research questions: what metaheuristic methods can be employed to tackle dynamic unit commitment challenges in power systems, and how effective are these methods in optimization? We established specific criteria for including and excluding studies, such as choosing articles published in English and concentrating on unit commitment in power systems. Out of the 487 papers discovered from the abstracts, only 14 were chosen for review after an extensive screening process based on complete studies that specifically addressed dynamic unit commitment. The conducted analysis provided insights into the accuracy and efficiency levels attained when using metaheuristic algorithms to solve the dynamic unit commitment problem. The research underscores the pivotal role of metaheuristic optimization in modern energy and power systems, highlighting its significance in tackling diverse challenges associated with enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of power system utilization. Using metaheuristics in academic research has significantly improved scientific publications, resulting in an average annual increase of 43% in citations. This research's real contribution to the academic field is to provide an alternative reference for approximately 66 ASEAN universities with power system engineering majors.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has led to the rapid expansion of online learning programs in higher education, enabling students to access and study course materials independently. The Learning Management System (LMS) is pivotal in supporting this transition. Incorporating gamification elements such as leaderboards, levels, point systems, and badges into LMS platforms can yield mixed effects on learning outcomes. While gamification has shown potential to enhance motivation, and engagement, and create a competitive yet enjoyable learning environment, it can also result in increased stress, demotivation, and distractions if not implemented thoughtfully. This research aims to evaluate the efficacy of gamified LMS platforms by applying the Push-Pull-Mooring (PPM) Perspective Model. The study seeks to understand the factors that influence students' transition from traditional LMS to gamified systems, including motivations (pull factors), dissatisfactions (push factors), and inhibitors (mooring factors). By systematically reviewing 30 scholarly articles published between 2012 and 2022, the research provides insights into the psychological, behavioral, and educational impacts of gamification within LMS environments. The study aims to identify best practices for designing and implementing gamified LMS that maximize positive outcomes such as intrinsic motivation and active participation while mitigating potential downsides. Furthermore, it explores the implications of gamification for improving educational outcomes and informing future technological innovations in e-learning.

Abstract

Mahasiswa Pendidikan Teknik Informatika (PTI) sebagai calon guru harus memiliki minat menjadi guru agar dapat meningkatkan kualitasnya untuk menjadi guru Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) yang profesional. Mahasiswa yang mempunyai minat menjadi guru memerlukan persepsi yang baik terhadap profesi guru. Selain itu, calon guru TIK juga harus mempunyai keyakinan dalam dirinya untuk mencapai suatu keberhasilan agar dapat mengajarkan ilmu yang telah didapatkan. Penelitian ini mempunyai tujuan mengetahui: (1) deskripsi persepsi profesi guru, efikasi diri (self-efficacy) dan minat menjadi guru, (2) hubungan secara parsial antara persepsi profesi guru terhadap minat menjadi guru dan efikasi diri terhadap minat menjadi guru, dan (3) hubungan secara simultan antara persepsi profesi guru dan efikasi diri terhadap minat menjadi guru. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan rancangan penelitian deskriptif korelasional. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode ex post facto. Sampel penelitian adalah mahasiswa program studi PTI angkatan 2019-2021 Universitas Negeri Malang (UM) dengan jumlah 141 mahasiswa. Uji hipotesis menggunakan korelasi sederhana dan korelasi ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan persepsi profesi guru dalam kategori sangat tinggi, efikasi diri dalam kategori tinggi, minat menjadi guru dalam kategori tinggi. Secara parsial antara variabel persepsi profesi guru (X1 ) terhadap minat menjadi guru (Y) dan efikasi diri (X2 ) terhadap minat menjadi guru (Y) mempunyai hubungan yang positif dan signifikan. Secara simultan antara persepsi profesi guru (X1), efikasi diri (X2 ) terhadap minat menjadi guru (Y) mempunyai hubungan yang positif dan signifikan

Abstract

This research analyzes the development of the profile of Pait Village in Kasembon District, Malang Regency, as a sustainable village to improve welfare through local potential. Pait Village has great opportunities in the agriculture and tourism sectors, but limited promotion, and digital literacy are the main obstacles. This research used descriptive qualitative methods with case studies and virtual ethnography, involving village officials, communities, tourism managers, tourists, and digital marketing experts. Village profile development was carried out by making promotional videos, from pre-production to distribution through social media. The results show that village profile videos attract tourists and increase sales of local products. However, challenges remain, such as poor infrastructure and lack of community participation due to low digital literacy. The conclusions emphasize the importance of sustainable promotion strategies, infrastructure improvements, and active community participation.

Abstract

The post-pandemic era is a post-pandemic era where all MSME players are maintaining their businesses and must even be able to increase their businesses. The obstacles experienced by MSMEs Dapur Sangit, Wandanpuro Village, Bululawang, Malang Regency, which are engaged in catering and produce shredded milkfish processed foods, occur in the process of packing or packaging products that are inefficient and untidy. In addition, the product packaging process is still applying conventional technology by using a hand sealer manually. The impact of the packaging process with this conventional tool certainly makes the packaging untidy and there are defects in the packaging so that it will affect product quality and have an impact on reducing quality and selling value in the market. The purpose of this community service program is to apply Appropriate Technology (TTG) in the form of an automatic Continuous Band Sealer machine that functions to improve packaging quality, reduce costs if still applying conventional technology and increase product durability. The results of the service carried out went smoothly and could improve the quality of product packaging for MSMEs Dapur Sangit.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui : (1) Deskripsi vocational capability (X1), persepsi terhadap inovasi teknologi (X2), adaptasi terhadap perubahan dunia kerja (Y) di era revolusi industry 4.0, (2) Hubungan X1 dengan Y secara signifikan, (3) Hubungan X2 dengan Y secara signifikan, (4) Hubungan X1dan X2 terhadap Y secara signifikan dan simultan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu ex post facto dengan rancangan penelitian kuantitatif korelasional. Intrumen yang digunakan untuk varibel X1, X2 dan Y berupa angket yang menggunakan skala likert dengan 4 skala. Nilai reliabilitas X1, X2 dan Y sebesar 0,882, 0,837 dan 0,870 Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa SMK kelas XII Program Keahlian  Teknik Otomasi Industri di Kabupaten Malang sejumlah 103 responden. Hasil penelitian diketahui: (1) koefisien korelasi parsial X1 dengan Y sebesar 0,014; dan (2) koefisien korelasi parsial X2 dengan Y sebesar 0,000. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu: (1) terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara X1 dengan Y; (2) terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara X2 dengan Y; (3) terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara X1 dan X2 secara simultan dengan Y pada siswa SMK program keahlian Teknik Otomasi Industri Kabupaten Malang. Abstract The purpose of this research is to understand: (1) Description of vocational capability (X1), perception of technological innovation (X2), Adaptation ahead labour world transformation (Y) in the 4.0 industrial revolution era, (2) Significant correlation between X1 and Y, (3) Significant correlation between X2 and Y, (4) Significant and simultaneous correlation of X1 and X2 with Y.This research is using ex post facto methodology with correlational quantitative research design. The instrument that is used for X1, X2, and Y is consist of questionnaire with 4 scales of linkert scale. Reliability value X1, X2 and Y is 0,882, 0,837 and 0,870. This research samples are 12th grader of vocational high school student, which are majoring industrial automation engineering in Malang district, consist of 103 respondents. The result of the research are (1) Partial correlation coefficient X1 with Y is 0,014; and (2) Partial correlation coefficient X2 with Y is 0,000.This research concludes: (1) There is positive and significant correlation between X1 and Y; (2) There is positive and significant correlation between X2 and Y; (3) There is positive and significant correlation between X1 and X2 simultaneously to Y for vocational high school students of industrial automation engineering program in Malang district.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the development, benefits, and challenges of implementing the Internet of Things (IoT) in education through a systematic literature review (SLR). Using the PRISMA method, 25 relevant articles published between 2018 and 2025 were selected from leading academic databases, including Scopus, IEEE Xplore, SpringerLink, and ScienceDirect. The review process involved four stages: identification, screening, eligibility, and inclusion. The findings show that IoT significantly improves learning effectiveness, increasing outcomes by up to 30% through smart classrooms, real-time monitoring, automated attendance systems, and personalized learning. In addition, IoT supports operational efficiency in schools, with reports showing energy consumption savings of up to 25% and better security measures. Despite these benefits, challenges such as infrastructure gaps (especially in rural areas, which were recorded in 40% of the studies), data privacy issues, and limited digital readiness among teachers remain. This study is limited to English-language publications from 2018-2025. Its originality lies in offering an integrative analysis that connects technological and pedagogical perspectives, providing strategic insights for inclusive and sustainable digital education.
