Abstract

Managing large and constantly evolving product catalogs is a significant challenge for e-commerce platforms, especially when visually similar products cannot be reliably distinguished using text-based methods. This study proposes a product grouping method that combines a fine-tuned EfficientNetV2M model with an adaptive Agglomerative Clustering strategy. Unlike conventional CNN-based approaches, which have limited scalability and a fixed number of clusters, the proposed method dynamically adjusts similarity thresholds and automatically forms clusters for unseen product variations. By linking deep visual feature extraction with adaptive clustering, the method enhances flexibility in handling product diversity. Experiments on the Shopee product image dataset show that it achieves a high Normalized Mutual Information (NMI) score of 0.924, outperforming standard baselines. These results demonstrate the method’s effectiveness in automating catalog organization and offer a scalable solution for inventory management and personalized recommendations in e-commerce platforms.

Abstract

Capaian daya serap materi pelajaran masih menjadi permasalahan di Indonesia. Peningkatan sarana prasarana berupa bahan ajar menjadi upaya untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Modul sebagai salah satu bahan ajar dapat membantu siswa memahami, mempelajari dan menerapkan pembelajaran sesuai dengan kebutuhan serta memberikan motivasi belajar pada siswa. Kegairahan, lingkungan, dan keinginan belajar memengaruhi minat dan motivasi siswa dalam pembelajaran. Kurangnya motivasi dan minat belajar terjadi di SMK (STM) Turen, karena itu diperlukan inovasi kegiatan pembelajaran menarik minat, motivasi serta efektif dan efisien. Penelitian ini menggunakan disain quasi experiment dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Variabel yang digunakan yaitu satu variabel independen yaitu penerapan modul sensor dan arduino (X1) dan 3 variabel dependen yaitu minat belajar (Y1), motivasi belajar (Y2) dan hasil belajar (Y3). Metode pengumpulan data penelitian ini yaitu observasi, non tes (angket/kuesioner), dokumentasi (nilai ulangan harian), dan tes (post-test). Nilai rata-rata Ulangan Harian kelas eksperimen sebesar 35,21 dan kelas kontrol sebesar 39,58. Rata-rata nilai post-test kelas eksperimen 76,95 dan kelas kontrol 61,25. Minat belajar pada indikator keterlibatan, ketertarikan dan perasan senang siswa kelas eksperimen dan kontrol termasuk kategori tinggi. Motivasi belajar pada indikator dorongan kegiatan belajar, kegiatan pembelajaran menarik kelas eksperimen dan kontrol termasuk kategori tinggi, sedangkan pada indikator kemauan belajar kelas eksperimen termasuk kategori sangat tinggi dan kelas kontrol tinggi. Penerapan modul trainer sensor arduino memiliki dampak terhadap minat, motivasi, dan hasil belajar siswa kelas 10 SMK (STM) Turen.

Abstract

Survey findings indicate that some Informatics Engineering Education students show low interest in pursuing a teaching career, leading to reduced motivation, enthusiasm, and teaching readiness. This lack of interest negatively affects their pedagogical and professional competence. The Teaching Assistance Program was created for educational students to hone their teaching skills and develop their capabilities through curriculum development and implementation. This study aims to:(1) reveal the effect of pedagogical competence on interest in becoming an ICT teacher and teaching readiness; (2) reveal the effect of professional competence on interest in becoming an ICT teacher and teaching readiness; (3) reveal the effect of interest in becoming an ICT teacher on teaching readiness; (4) reveal the effect of pedagogic competence and professional competence on teaching readiness through the intervening variable interest in becoming a teacher. The study found that professional competence significantly influences students’ interest in becoming ICT teachers, while pedagogical competence significantly affects teaching readiness. Interest in becoming an ICT teacher also has a strong positive effect on teaching readiness. Additionally, professional competence indirectly enhances teaching readiness through increased career interest, whereas pedagogical competence shows no significant indirect effect through interest.

Abstract

This study presents the Novel Navigation Orca Algorithm (NNOA), an innovative optimization algorithm derived from Orca Algorithm (OA). NNOA addresses the unit commitment (UC), a complex issue in power systems that focuses on scheduling generator units to meet power demand while taking into account each generator's limitations, with the goal of lowering operating costs and gas emissions. NNOA exhibits orca hunting behavior through echolocation, utilizing the Doppler effect principle to promote adaptive movement and circumvent local optima, as in contrast to OA's wave-based exploration. The algorithm was evaluated utilizing IEEE 30-bus system data, focused on the Integrated Economic and Emission Dispatch (IEED) objective. The performance was evaluated against OA and Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) through convergence analysis over 10 and 30 trials, each consisting of 100 iterations. NNOA decreased the IEED value by 1.33% in regard to OA and 1.51% in regard to PSO. NNOA achieved convergence in 10 iterations, whereas OA required 35, indicating 71.4% faster convergence rate. Wilcoxon rank-sum tests demonstrated significant differences between NNOA, OA, and PSO pairings. NNOA's per-iteration computation time exceeds the time needed by PSO, but it remains economical and profitable. Significantly, NNOA contributes minimizing the fuel consumption and emissions cost, which has a positive environmental impact. It effectively adheres to the required constraints, which include the hourly power demand and generator output limits. Future research is encouraged to apply NNOA to larger-scale power systems and explore its hybridization with PSO to enhance computational efficiency, result consistency, and robustness in practical grid operations.

Abstract

Automated visual recognition of Multi Braille Characters (MBC) poses significant challenges for assistive reading technologies for the visually impaired. The intricate dot configurations and compact layouts of Braille complicate MBC classification. This study introduces a deep learning approach utilizing Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) and compares four leading architectures: ResNet-50, ResNet-101, MobileNetV2, and VGG-16. A dataset comprising 105 MBC classes was developed from printed Braille materials and underwent preprocessing that included image cropping, brightness enhancement, character position labeling, and resizing to 89×89 pixels. A 70:20:10 data partitioning strategy was applied for training and evaluation, with variations in batch sizes (8–128) and epochs (50–500). The results demonstrate that ResNet-101 achieved superior performance, attaining an accuracy of 91.46%, an F1-score of 89.48%, and a minimum error rate of 8.5%. ResNet-50 and MobileNetV2 performed competitively under specific conditions, whereas VGG-16 consistently exhibited lower accuracy and training stability. Standard deviation assessments corroborated the stability of residual architectures throughout the training process. These results endorse ResNet-101 as the most effective architecture for Multi Braille Character classification, highlighting its potential for incorporation into automated Braille reading systems, a tool for translating braille into text or sound for future needs.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran inovatif berupa Flash Card Punch Game berbasis gamifikasi pada ma-teri Sistem Komputer untuk peserta didik kelas IX SMP. Media ini dirancang untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan pemahaman belajar pe-serta didik melalui pendekatan permainan yang interaktif dan me-nyenangkan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang mencakup tahap An-alisis, Desain, Pengembangan, Implementasi, dan Evaluasi. Hasil vali-dasi dari ahli media, ahli materi, dan respon peserta didik menunjukkan bahwa media ini mendapatkan skor rata-rata 91,27% kategori sangat layak digunakan dan efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik. Hasil tersebut diperoleh dengan rincian sebagai berikut: (1) per-sentase dari ahli media sebesar 95,83%, (2) persentase dari ahli materi sebesar 92,15%, (3) persentase dari hasil uji coba kelompok kecil sebe-sar 87,7%, dan (4) persentase dari uji coba kelompok besar mem-peroleh score sebesar 89,4% semuanya dengan tingkat kategori sangat layak atau valid.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menerapkan media pembelajaran berupa game ular tangga dalam pembelajaran Informatika kelas IX pada materi struktur data Graf, serta menganalisis keterlibatan peserta didik selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Metode yang digunakan penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan tahapan model pengembangan ADDIE: analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Populasi pada penelitian ini yaitu peserta didik kelas IX SMP Negeri 16 Malang tahun ajaran 2024/2025, dan sampel kelas IX E yang berjumlah 34 anak. Teknik pemiligan sampel menggunakan teknik simpel random sampling atau dipilih secara acak. Penelitian ini mengumpulkan data berupa angket untuk menggambarkan keterlibatan peserta didik dan tanggapan mereka terhadap media pembelajaran. Hasil yang didapatkan penelitian ini hasil validasi ahli media 95,83% sebesar dan validasi ahli materi sebesar 92,19%. Uji coba kelompok kecil melibatkan 10 peserta didik, menunjukkan persentase sebesar 85,25% dan uji coba kelompok besar melibatkan 34 peserta didik dengan persentase sebesar 89,49%. Selain itu, dari angket keterlibatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta didik berada pada kategori keterlibatan sangat aktif, yaitu sebesar 85,36%. Dengan demikian, penerapan game ular tangga sebagai media pembelajaran menunjukkan respon positif terhadap keterlibatan peserta didik secara perilaku, emosional, dan kognitif selama proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Pentingnya pelatihan dan pendampingan bagi pelaku usaha kopiah yang berada di Desa Pengangsalan Kecamatan Kalitengah Kabupaten Lamongan yang bertujuan memberikan teknologi informasi untuk memperkuat pemahaman mengenai legalitas usaha, perizinan usaha, merek produk dan strategi pemasaran diera digital. Legalitas usaha bertujuan untuk mendapatkan legalitas dari pihak yang berwenang perizinan ini sangatlah penting bagi pelaku usaha agar tidak melanggar hukum dan undang undang yang berlaku perizinan juga dapat digunakan untuk mendapatkan fasilitas peminjaman modal dengan suku bunga rendah (KUR) dan bisa mendapatkan fasilitas pelatihan dari pemerintah daerah. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan kepada pemilik usaha, mengatasi kurangnya pemahaman mereka terkait legalitas dan perizinan usaha. Metode pelaksanaannya melalui observasi untuk mengidentifikasi masalah pada mitra, perencanaan, sosialisasi perizinan usaha, serta pendampingan legalitas usaha. Dengan adanya program pengabdian kepada masyarakat melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan menggunakan teknologi informasi, diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pemahaman para pemilik usaha tentang legalitas perizinan dan strategi pemasaran. Program ini bertujuan agar mereka memperoleh pengetahuan mengenai cara pendaftaran legalitas dan izin berusaha, pendaftaran merek baru, serta mendapatkan pengalaman baru terkait legalitas usaha dan perizinan. Selain itu, diharapkan para pemilik usaha mampu memanfaatkan teknologi informasi untuk memasarkan produknya secara digital melalui online shop, sehingga dapat mencapai pasar yang lebih luas.

Abstract

Kecocokan isi artikel dengan sebuah tema jurnal menjadi faktor utama diterima tidaknya sebuah artikel. Tetapi masih banyak mahasiswa yang bingung untuk menentukan jurnal yang sesuai dengan artikel yang dimilikinya. Untuk itu diperlukannya sebuah metode klasifikasi dokumen yang dapat mengelompokkan artikel secara otomatis dan akurat. Terdapat banyak metode klasifikasi yang dapat digunakan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Naive Bayes dan sebagai baseline digunakan metode K-Nearest Neighbor. Metode Naive Bayes dipilih karena dapat menghasilkan akurasi yang maksimal dengan data latih yang sedikit. Sedangkan metode K-Nearest Neighbor dipilih karena metode tersebut tangguh terhadap data noise. Kinerja dari kedua metode tersebut akan dibandingkan, sehingga dapat diketahui metode mana yang lebih baik dalam melakukan klasifikasi dokumen. Hasil yang didapatkan menunjukkan metode Naive Bayes memiliki kinerja yang lebih baik dengan tingkat akurasi 70%, sedangkan metode K-Nearest Neighbor memiliki tingkat akurasi yang cukup rendah yaitu 40%. AbstractOne way to be accepted in a journal conference and get the publication is to create an article with perfect suitability content of the journal. Matching the content of the article with a journal theme is the main factor for acceptability an article. But there are still many students who are confused to choose the journal in accordance with the articles it has. So we need a method to classification article documents category automatically and accurately group articles. There are many classification methods that can be used. The method used in this study is Naive Bayes and as a baseline the K-Nearest Neighbor method. Naive Bayes method is chosen because it can produce maximum accuracy with little training data. While K-Nearest Neighbor method was chosen because the method is robust to data noise. The performance of the two methods will be compared, so we can be known which method is better in classifying the document. The results show that the Naive Bayes method performs is more accurate with 70% accuracy and K-Nearest Neighbors method has a fairly low accuracy of 40% on classification test.

Abstract

This research aims to (1) develop learning media, (2) test the level of feasibility of e-learning website-based learning media products, and (3) test the effectiveness of developing e-learning website-based learning media in the Network Systems Administration subject for students class XI TKJ Islamic Vocational School 1 Blitar. This research is research into the development of the ADDIE development model. The data analysis used is in the form of a questionnaire with four scales and test questions in the form of pretest and posttest. The data analysis technique uses descriptive qualitative and quantitative analysis with averages. The feasibility assessment from media experts, namely from lecturers and teachers, the average was 3.72 in the "very feasible" category. The assessment from material experts, the average was 3.57 in the "very feasible" category. The feasibility assessment of 14 students with an average score of 3.30 was categorized as "very feasible" which shows that e-learning is classified as very good. The effectiveness of the media is shown from the results of the pretest and posttest. It shows that effectiveness for the experimental class is shown by a significant increase in scores, while for the control class there is a less significant increase seen from the results of the pretest and posttest.
