Seiring dengan pesatnya perkembangan teknologi informasi seperti saat ini, informasi sangat mudah didapatkan dari berbagai sumber seperti berita online, media sosial hingga aplikasi pesan singkat. Cepatnya penyebaran informasi ini terkadang menimbulkan perbedaan persepsi dan sudut pandang informasi di masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana media membingkai dan mengkonstruk realitas pemberitaan tentang sosok Habib Rizieq Shihab (HRS) saat berada di RS Ummi Bogor. Review media yang penulis teliti adalah berita dari kompas.com dan nusadaily.com. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode framing Robert Entman yang menitikberatkan pada bagaimana mendefinisikan masalah, apa / siapa penyebab masalah, keputusan moral yang terkandung dalam pemberitaan dan apa yang ditawarkan untuk penyelesaiannya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kedua media memiliki gaya pemberitaan yang berbeda dalam memberitakan sosok HRS, dimana kompas.com membuat headline berita dengan judul yang cukup menarik namun tidak kontroversial, sedangkan nusadaily.com membuat judul yang sedikit vulgar dan cukup kontroversial. Isi pemberitaan kedua media juga menawarkan persepsi yang berbeda di masyarakat. Kompas.com mengungkap berita tersebut lebih detail terkait hak pasien dan kewajiban rumah sakit terhadap pasien, sedangkan nusadaily.com hanya sebatas membingkai pernyataan analis politik tanpa memperhatikan aspek hak pasien dan kewajiban rumah sakit terhadap pasien.

Film tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai media hiburan. Film juga berperan dalam menyampaikan pesan-pesan ideologi yang secara sadar atau tidak sadar menjadi bagian nilai yang diyakini oleh penonton. Di samping itu, alasan produksi film horor meningkat karena nilai ekonomi dan politik yang menjadi bagian dari struktur dan agen-agen sosial. Salah satu film horor fenomenal pada tahun 2017 adalah film Pengabdi Setan karya Joko Anwar yang meraih jumlah penonton 4,2 juta orang. Penelitian menggunakan teori strukturasi Anthony Gidden dan perspektif ekonomi politik Vincent Mosco. Objek penelitian adalah struktur sosial dan agen dalam proses pembuatan film. Subjek penelitian adalah para pihak yang terlibat dalam proses pembuatan film. Pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Data dihasilkan melalui teknik pengumpulan data wawancara dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa proses produksi film terdiri dari pra produksi, produksi dan pasca produksi. Semua proses melibatkan agen-agen sosial yang terikat dengan struktur sosial dan produksi film sangat tergantung pada nilai ideologi dan ekonomi politik. Nilai ekonomi menjadi tujuan utama film Pengabdi Setan diproduksi ulang dengan berbagai prubahan menyesuaikan struktur sosial penonton saat ini. Proses produksi terkooptasi oleh niai-nilai yang mengikat struktur perfilman Indonesia, khususnya dalam pembuatan film. Film Pengabdi Setan telah mampu menciptakan ketidaksadaran masyarakat terhadap realitas isi film sebagai representasi langsung masyarakat yang terikat oleh struktur dimana film diproduksi.

Pada tanggal 2 Januari 2020, sehari setelah bencana banjir meluas di wilayah Jakarta ini terjadi, media massa memberikan porsi khusus pada pemberitaan banjir Jakarta. Hal ini dapat diidentifikasi dari penggunaan peristiwa banjir Jakarta sebagai headline. Media massa selalu melakukan framing (membingkai) peristiwa yang diberitakan berdasarkan perspektif dan ketertarikan dari media yang bersangkutan. Jurnal ini akan membahas mengenai pembingkaian berita mengenai peristiwa banjir Jakarta Januari 2020 di Harian Kompas.com dan Jawapos.com. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui konstruksi pemberitaan banjir Jakarta Januari 2020 di harian Kompas.com dan Jawapos.com. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis framing model Robert N. Entman, basis frame Urs Dahinden, dan pengelompokan framing dari Shanto Iyengar. Dari penelitian yang dilakukan, jurnal ini mendapatkan temuan dan diskusi mengenai perbedaan framing yang digunakan tiap media dalam mengkonstruksi pemberitaan mengenai banjir Jakarta Januari 2020. Kompas.com yaitu menuntut, mempertanyakan, dan menggugat ketidakberdayaan pemerintah daerah dalam menangani banjir Jakarta Januari 2020 yang dibangun dengan menggunakan basis frame moral dan etika yang dominan dalam pemberitaan. Jawapos.com mengkonstruksi pemberitaan mengenai banjir Jakarta Januari 2020 dengan frame untuk membangun citra baik pada kinerja pemerintah daerah. Hal tersebut dilakukan dengan penggunaan basis frame personalisasi dalam menonjolkan upaya pemerintah daerah dalam menangani bencana dan penggunaan perspektif narasumber tunggal yaitu Anies Baswedan dalam memberitakan dampak banjir yang menganggu kegiatan Ibu Kota.

The research on the text of television soap opera “Dunia Terbalik” focuses on the construction of the role of women and men. During this time, men are act as heads of families, leaders and breadwinners as regional representation, while women are more described as housewives, unemployed, and active in domestic areas. This study aims to uncover, criticize, and interpret the unusual reality as an interesting phenomenon that often occurs in the society. By using the theory and method of discourse M.K. Halliday and also equipped with an understanding of the role of domestic and public which is the result of social construction that may not be denied. Women have the ability to act as a breadwinner who replace the role that has been dominated by men. while men or husband in the soap opera ‘accept’, because their incapacity financially, they even enjoy the role that seems unfair to women. Men or husbands keep demanding women or wives to perform domestic roles if they are at home.

Perguruan Tinggi menghadapi perubahan drastis dalam proses belajar mengajar dari rumah di situasi COVID-19. Tujuan penelitian ini menganalisis kebijakan mengenai penciptaaan inovasi teknologi berbasis nilai-nilai kebudiluhuran dan menginterpretasikan komunikasi organisasi dalam pemanfatannya oleh Universitas budi Luhur di masa COVID-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data wawancara dan observasi. Subjek penelitian adalah pimpinan universitas yang bertanggung jawab merancang inovasi dan komunikasi dan objeknya adalah inovasi teknologi dan upaya komunikasi budaya di tengah pandemi COVID-19. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa Universitas Budi Luhur menciptakan delapan (8) inovasi yang sangat membantu proses perkuliahan dan kerja online, yaitu: 1) Sistem kuliah online 100 persen Online, 2) Menciptakan modul aplikasi untuk pengajuan keringanan pembayaran uang kuliah, 3) Aplikasi Rapat Online Monitoring Kegiatan Kampus, 4) Aplikasi keringanan SPP bagi calon mahasiswa baru yang terdampak COVID-19, 5) Aplikasi WFH untuk memantau pekerjaan selama WFH, 6) Application Programming Interface (API) untuk pembayaran uang kuliah kelas karyawan, biaya wisuda, sidang proposal dan tesis, 7) Aplikasi Sistem Monitoring Follow up calon mahasiswa baru, dan 8) Aplikasi Sistem pendaftaran online versi lite bagi guru-guru Bimbingan Konseling (BK) dalam mencari calon mahasiswa baru. Inovasi tersebut merupakan upaya kearifan luhur untuk mendukung kebijakan pemerintah sekaligus menjaga keberlangsungan kerja dan belajar mengajar dari rumah. Substansi penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi berupa rekomendasi kebijakan inovasi teknologi kepada perguruan tinggi lain dengan menerapkan komunikasi berbasis nilai-nilai kebudiluhuran agar memperlancar proses inovasi.

The Acehnese political communication starts from Gampong and embraces all individual inclusively. The political processes and the Gampong governance (village) in Aceh are held in meunasah which is a learning and community center of the Acehnese society. The research utilizes a constructivism paradigm that is to try to understand, explain and interpret meanings and ongoing social interactions. The governance of the Acehnese society is the first-level governance proven effective in advancing the Acehnese society. The political communicators like kechiek, imeum and tuhapeut govern based on fixed job descriptions without overlapping and violating each other. Internet technology as new media having character provides a new thing for the processing, transmission, reception and response as well as the interactive nature between users of new media audiences and it gives implication in media management change paradigm and the effect of community/audience. The system and structure is a form of the local treasure in which the Acehnese society is developed. Internet causing political and social change in the culture of the gampong.

Each company has their own market segmentation for their offered product or services. Competition with the similar product is another challenge for the company itself to reach widely audience and get the segmented market. Advertisement as a part of an Integrated Marketing Communication is one of the marketing tools in bussiness to communicate with the wider community to introduce their products to audience. Advertisement in television has a certain message through its words or picture shown for their market. Wardah cosmetics as a cosmetis company which known has market segmentation for Moslem Woman try to make a moslem woman to appear attractively through their advertisement. Moslem woman in general has a standard common value to dress up in modesty. This research try to find out how's the audience's reception especially moslem woman at area of WTC Sudirman's Office as part of central business in Jakarta whom come from various background on the content of message Wardah Cosmetics Advertisement “Long Lasting Lipstic Feel The Color”. This research uses constructivis paradigm, namely, the truth of social reality can not be generalized to all people and seen as result of social construction of the audience, localy and specific. The researcher uses reception analysis method by conducting interview to informan choosen based on certain criteria. This research uses theory of Encoding-Decoding by Stuart Hall. Based on this research, there are 2 categories only which appears, Dominant Hegemonic and Negotiated Reading, also appears a new social value brought by milenials generation as a moslem woman “Jaman Now”.

The COVID-19 pandemi has changed the world in all sectors, particularly the health, economy, and education sectors. World Health Organization (WHO) announced the coronavirus outbreak (COVID-19) as a global pandemi. Therefore each country began implementing social distancing policies. The President of Indonesia insists on doing all activities from home: work at home, study at home and worship at home. Budi Luhur University carried out the President's appeal by carrying out work and learning activities from home by prioritizing the health and safety of the entire academic community. It is also a form of value embodiment of responsibility, cooperation, love, mutual help, being patient, and being grateful for the situation during a pandemi. Services are provided in the form of personal protective equipment (PPE) to hospitals around Jakarta to protect doctors and health workers. The services implemented also consist of socializing to the public about social distancing, washing hands regularly, wearing masks, staying at home campaigns, and providing handwashing places for online taxi bike drivers. The strategic steps exerted in the form of dedication to various communities are based on human values and the embodiment of the mental attitude of the philosophical value "Cerdas Berbudiluhur".

Viral events on social media are often made into the news. One of the social media viral events that made the news in mid-2019 was #JusticeforAudrey. Allegations of violence against Audrey made headlines in all mass media, including on Liputan 6 Siang SCTV. During April 2019, projections related to Audrey's coverage were submitted by producers every day. The news values that is the basis for determining the feasibility of an event to become news is no longer the priority of producers. This research paradigm is critical with a qualitative approach and uses the Fairclough Critical Discourse Analysis method. Theory of Political Economy Vincent Mosco explains the practice of viral news values is the practice of commodification of content and audiences. Viral social media events are considered attractive to internet users and expected to attract tv viewers. The practice of viral social media news is the commodification of content. Meanwhile, in the commodification of audiences, television news viewers in the form of rating & share are used as sales to advertisers, which in turn become an economic advantage for media corporations.

Dynastic politics has always been an issue that has attracted public attention to be discussed during the Regional Head Election (Pilkada) process. This is because in reality there is a tendency in many regional heads to try to build dynastic politics. The simultaneous Regional Head Election (Pilkada) in 2020 is quite interesting with several candidates emerging from the family of President Jokowi. This study aims to determine how online media of kompas.com and okezone.com in framing news about dynastic politics in the 2020 Pilkada. To achieve this goal, this study uses a qualitative research method, where the author uses the framing analysis model of Robert N. Entmant. The object of this research is news regarding the politics of President Jokowi's dynasty, in online media kompas.com and okezone.com. The data collection technique used literature study. The results of the analysis of this study present news about dynastic politics in the 2020 Pilkada. In the results of the news framing analysis using the Robert N. Entman model, there are several stages such as problem definition, problem estimation from problem sources, moral decision making, and problem solving. The news on kompas.com clearly highlighted news that was contra or disagreeable with the existence of dynastic politics in Indonesia, especially in the 2020 Pilkada, while the news on okezone.com clearly did not question the existence of dynastic politics in the 2020 Pilkada. The victory of the two PDI-Perjuangan candidates is part of the General Chair's commitment to ensure that his party leads to produce quality young leadership. Of course, the imbalance in the selection of sources in the news is very important so that people who see it can provide a more objective opinion of the news.
