Abstract

The Cucurak Tradition, which is still often found in the Bogor community when the month of Ramadan approaches, then raises the question of how religious values in the Cucurak Tradition. Considering that religious values are important to have, especially for the Indonesian nation whose society is heterogeneous. Therefore, researchers are interested in conducting a study to explore the religious value of the Cucurak Tradition carried out before the holy month of Ramadan and its relevance to the objectives of Islamic education. The research method used in this study is descriptive qualitative with a phenomenological approach. The discussion in this study includes the development of the Cucurak Tradition in Bogor, West Java, religious values in the Cucurak Tradition, and the relevance of religious values in the Cucurak Tradition to the objectives of Islamic education. This study concludes that the Cucurak Tradition as part of Sundanese culture has been attached to Islam, the implementation of the Cucurak Tradition as a form of joy in welcoming the arrival of the holy month of Ramadan, implemented by gathering and eating with the closest people. The Cucurak Tradition, which has been carried out for a long time, is currently experiencing changes in a number of aspects. The religious values contained in this tradition are silaturahmi, syukur, and tasamuh, and these values are in line with the objectives of Islamic education.

Abstract

Abstract: History learning is often embedded with negative stigma due to the lack of approach to student’s environment. Local history content can be a means of teaching environmentally-oriented history. The Merdeka Curriculum provides an opportunity integrate local history content in learning. The purpose of this study is (1) to describe the potential for local content in history learning in the Merdeka Curriculum, (2) to describe Abdul Manan Wijaya's struggle to defend independence in Malang 1945-1948 as local history content and, (3) to integrated the material raised can be into the Merdeka Curriculum. This article was written using literature study. The results of the research show that local history content is one of the learning achievements that students must master and the material on Abdul Manan Wijaya's struggle to defend independence in Malang 1945-1948 has the potential to be integrated into history learning because it explains the form of the Indonesian people's struggle in an effort to maintain independence which is also appropriate with the scope of material in Phase F.Abstrak:Pembelajaran sejarah identik dengan stigma negatif karena kurangnya pendekatan dengan lingkungan. Muatan sejarah lokal dapat menjadi sarana untuk mengajarkan pembelajaran sejarah berwawasan lingkungan. Kurikulum Merdeka memberikan posisi tersendiri terkait perlunya pembelajaran dengan mengintegrasikan muatan sejarah lokal. Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) mendeskripsikan potensi muatan sejarah lokal dalam pembelajaran sejarah pada Kurikulum Merdeka, (2) mendeskripsikan perjuangan Abdul Manan Wijaya dalam mempertahankan kemerdekaan di Malang 1945-1948 sebagai muatan sejarah lokal dan, (3) mengintegrasikan materi muatan sejarah lokal yang diangkat pada Kurikulum Merdeka. Penulisan artikel ini menggunakan studi kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa muatan sejarah lokal menjadi salah satu capaian pembelajaran yang harus dikuasai siswa dan materi perjuangan Abdul Manan Wijaya dalam mempertahankan kemerdekan di Malang 1945-1948 berpotensi untuk diintegrasikan dalam pembelajaran sejarah karena menjelaskan tentang bentuk perjuangan bangsa Indonesia dalam upaya membertahankan kemerdekaan yang sesuai dengan lingkup materi pada Fase F.

Abstract

This article discusses the implementation of a multidimensional approach in learning history of the Kurikulum Merdeka. This description in detail contains history learning in the Kurikulum Merdeka, opportunities for implementing a multidimensional approach, and the implementation steps in the learning process in schools. This type of exposure to this article is a conceptual article that seeks to describe theoretical studies and government policies related to the established curriculum. This paper is the first step in the study of the application of the Kurikulum Merdeka in schools. In particular, this paper is useful for stakeholders who will use a multidimensional approach in learning the history of the Kurikulum Merdeka.Artikel ini membahas tentang implementasi pendekatan multidimensional dalam pembelajaran sejarah Kurikulum Merdeka. Uraian ini secara detail berisi tentang pembelajaran sejarah dalam Kurikulum Merdeka, peluang implemetasi pendekatan multidimensional, dan langkah-langkah implementasinya dalam proses pembelajaran di sekolah. Jenis paparan artikel ini adalah artikel konseptual yang berusaha mengurai kajian teoritis dan kebijakan pemerintah terkait kurikulum yang ditetapkan. Tulisan ini merupakan langkah awal kajian terhadap penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka di sekolah. Secara khusus tulisan ini berguna bagi stakeholder yang akan menggunakan pendekatan multidimensional dalam pembelajaran sejarah Kurikulum Merdeka.

Abstract

The background to this research is the discourse on Islamic history which is often monopolized to produce a single narrative regarding the history of a great and majestic Islamic civilization unlike today. This is often used as an argument for why we have to return to the time of the prophet and the caliphate, which led to radicalization, especially of young people, to restore the caliphate in Indonesia. Why are young people easily radicalized? What historical scholarship can be used to counter it? and What is the history of Islamic civilization that was not radicalized? The answer to this question is about the internal and external problems faced by today's young people, especially students. The way to overcome this is through critical and creative thinking as in the 2023 Merdeka Curriculum. This research aims to provide history teachers with a role in preventing radicalization through historical scholarship, namely the Hegel Dialectic, especially the history of Islamic civilization. This article uses qualitative research with the literature study method. This research analyzes the reasons why young people who are often targets of radicalization by terrorist groups become their members by comparing the present with the "past glories" of Islamic civilization. Hegel's dialectic is a way to discuss complex topics by showing two different points of view of Thesis and Antithesis so as to achieve a broader understanding of Synthesis. This technique can prevent students from becoming radicalized because they don't immediately believe something before checking it themselves. Hegel's dialect is a means of contracting radicalism discourse using historical science as its basis.

Abstract

Tironan tradition is one of the traditions of the people of Bojonegoro District, especially in the Sonorejo Village. Tironan tradition is a tradition to commemorate a person’s birthday based on the calculation of the java calendar. This tradition is still carried out by the Sonorejo Village community with aim of respecting and preserving the ancestral heritage. Moreover, the community pursues this tradition with the aim of asking for help, being removed from danger, and being given happiness in life. In its implementation, the tironan tradition has Islamic values contained in it such as a form of people’s gratitude to God, form of mutual compassion, and form of solidarity to keep arms of mercy between neighbours. The aim of the research was to learn about the procession and the Islamic values contained in the tironan traditions in the Sonorejo Village, as well as to learn about the change in the tironan tradition in the Sonorejo Village from 1998 to 2023. This research is to determine the changes in the tironan tradition that occurred in Sonorejo Village in 1998 due to the monetary crisis, while in 2023 there was an improvement in various areas of the economy. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods, which use data collection techniques with observation, interviews, literature studies, and documentation. The results of this study show that there is a change in the tironan tradition in the Sonorejo Village. Although the tironan tradition still exists to this day, there have been some changes in its implementation such as the ubarampe presented, the procession its execution, and the perpetrators of the tironan tradition. The changing times of increasing modernity, and the lack of public awareness in preserving them, as well the assumption that they are ancient and inconsistent with religious teachings (commiting idolatrous acts).

Abstract

The Pancasila student profile is something that is focused in the independent curriculum. In implementation, the Pancasila student profile cannot be done instantly but requires a habit. One effort that can be made is providing material regarding the value of the struggle of historical figures who can be used as role models. One figure who can be used as a role model by the younger generation in strengthening the profile of Pancasila students is KH. Abdul Wahab Hasbullah. This research uses qualitative methods with a literature study which aims to explore the values of KH. Abdul Wahab Hasbullah's struggle. who is relevant in learning history based on the Pancasila student profile of the independent curriculum. As for this research, the results found that in KH. Abdul Wahab Hasbullah has six characteristics that are relevant to the profile of Pancasila students, namely: 1) Faith, devotion to God Almighty and noble character, 2) global diversity, 3) working together, 4) independence, 5) critical and creative reasoning.

Abstract

This research is related to local history as a branch of historical science whose studies and studies discuss events that occurred in a particular locality. The local history in this research relates to figures who spread Islam in Pasuruan. This research aims to find out about the teaching of Mbah Sayyid Arif Segoropuro and their relevance to Islamic education. This research uses historical research methods namely research carried out by collecting data and interpreting related symptoms regarding a thorough problem. The stages in this research method begin with heuristics, verification, interpretation, and historiography. Based on the research results, the teaching of Mbah Sayyid Arif Segoropuro has quite significant relevance to Islamic education. Mbah Sayyid Arif Segoropuro has become the Islamic identity of the Pasuruan people whose existence regarding his figure and teachings is still preserved through various acculturations to the local cultures of the community. These local values make his teachings have important relevance to Islamic education.   Abstrak Penelitian ini berhubungan dengan sejarah lokal sebagai cabang ilmu sejarah yang studi dan kajiannya membahas mengenai peristiwa yang terjadi pada suatu lokalitas tertentu. Sejarah lokal dalam penelitian ini berhubungan dengan tokoh penyebaran Islam di Pasuruan. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini untuk mengetahui terkait ajaran Mbah Sayyid Arif Segoropuro dan relevansinya dengan pendidikan Islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian historis yaitu penelitian yang dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan data dan penafsiran terkait gejala mengenai masalah yang diteliti. Tahapan dalam metode penelitian ini diawali dengan heuristik, verifikasi, interpretasi, dan historiografi. Berdasarkan pada hasil penelitian, bahwa ajaran Mbah Sayyid Arif Segoropuro memiliki relevansi yang cukup signifikan dengan pendidikan Islam. Mbah Sayyid Arif Segoropuro menjadi identitas keislaman masyarakat Pasuruan yang eksistensi mengenai sosok dan ajarannya masih dilestarikan dengan berbagai akulturasi budaya-budaya lokal masyarakat. Dengan nilai-nilai lokal ini menjadikan ajarannya memiliki relevansi yang penting dengan pendidikan Islam.

Abstract

This research aims to explore and analyze the internalization process of the da'wah (Islamic propagation) values bequeathed by Sheikh Jumadil Kubro and their implementation in shaping students' character through the History subject in the Merdeka Curriculum. Sheikh Jumadil Kubro was a great 14th-century scholar who spread Islam in the Nusantara region. This research employs a qualitative method with a literature study aimed at exploring Sheikh Jumadil Kubro's da'wah values. The research findings reveal that Sheikh Jumadil Kubro possessed three characters relevant to the Pancasila Student Profile: 1) noble character, 2) global diversity, 3) critical reasoning. Thus, the integration of Sheikh Jumadil Kubro's da'wah values into the teaching of History in the Merdeka Curriculum can serve as a relevant model for producing a generation with an Islamic and patriotic character.

Abstract

Wawasan kebhinekaan memiliki urgensi yang sangat penting dalam menciptakan lingkungan yang aman dan nyaman khususnya dalam lingkup sekolah. Wawasan kebhinekaan erat kaitannya dengan multikulturalisme yang menjadi pedoman berpikir dalam mengembangkan pendidikan dan selanjutnya membentuk karakter peserta didik. Konten multikultural di tengah perkembangan teknologi dan informasi pada abad 21 ini, dapat diintegrasikan ke dalam berbagai mata pelajaran dengan memanfaatkan potensi lokal daerah yang bersangkutan. Salah satunya dengan mengintegrasikan muatan-muatan kearifan lokal dalam pembelajaran sejarah di sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana kearifan lokal dapat digunakan sebagai sumber daya dalam membangun kebhinekaan peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan analisis kualitatif model induktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa efektivitas pembelajaran berbasis kearifan lokal dinilai lebih tinggi daripada pembelajaran konvensional. Kemudian terdapat perubahan sikap peserta didik, bermula dengan rendahnya tingkat kepekaan terhadap pentingnya menghargai perbedaan, menjadi bersikap penuh toleransi, kerjasama, dan saling berempati antar individu dari berbagai latar belakang sosiokultural yang berbeda-beda.

Abstract

Abstract: Using local history sites as a means of learning local history is important for students. This is because linking between national and global history will be difficult if it does not depart from local history. In fact, the learning outcomes of phase E of the historical process skills element require students to be able to link local, national and global history. On the other hand, not all local history material is included in the textbook. In fact, learning history will be meaningful if students are invited to learn history close to their environment. Therefore, the studyof the history of Sunan Sendang Duwur is important to be taught, especially for students who are close to the site. The purpose of writing this article is to explain the role of Sunan Sendang Duwur in the spread of Islam in Lamongan; explain the urgency of studying the history of Sunan Sendang Duwur to foster historical awareness; and explain the implementation of studying the history of Sunan Sendang Duwur as a learning resource in learning the history of the Merdeka Curriculum. Through literature study, it can be seen that Sunan Sendang Duwur played an important role in the spread of Islam in Lamongan. Furthermore, the study of Sunan Sendang Duwur's history is important because it can foster historical awareness. Therefore, the implementation of the historical study of Sunan Sendang Duwur as a learning resource in the history learning of the Merdeka Curriculum must be designed appropriately. Through outdoor learning activities (site visits) accompanied by proper planning, preparation, implementation, and assessment, namely by paying attention to aspects of historical awareness, it is possible to grow students' historical awareness. Abstrak: Menggunakan situs sejarah lokal sebagai sarana belajar sejarah lokal penting bagi siswa. Hal tersebut karena mengaitkan antara sejarah nasional dan global akan sulit dilakukan jika tidak berangkat dari sejarah lokal. Padahal, capaian pembelajaran fase E elemen keterampilan proses sejarah mengharuskan siswa untuk mampu mengaitkan antara sejarah lokal, nasional, dan global. Di sisi lain, tidak semua materi sejarah lokal termuat dalam buku teks. Padahal, pembelajaran sejarah akan bermakna jika siswa diajak belajar sejarah yang dekat dengan lingkungannya. Oleh karena itu, kajian sejarah Sunan Sendang Duwur penting untuk diajarkan, terutama untuk siswa yang dekat dengan situs tersebut. Tujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk menjelaskan peran Sunan Sendang Duwur dalam penyebaran Islam di Lamongan; menjelaskan urgensi kajian sejarah Sunan Sendang Duwur untuk menumbuhkan kesadaran sejarah; serta menjelaskan implementasi kajian sejarah Sunan Sendang Duwur sebagai sumber belajar pada pembelajaran sejarah Kurikulum Merdeka. Melalui studi pustaka dapat diketahui bahwa Sunan Sendang Duwur berperan penting dalam penyebaran Islam di Lamongan. Lebih lanjut, kajian mengenai sejarah Sunan Sendang Duwur penting untuk dilakukan karena dapat menumbuhkan kesadaran sejarah. Oleh karena itu, implementasi kajian sejarah Sunan Sendang Duwur sebagai sumber belajar pada pembelajaran sejarah Kurikulum Merdeka harus didesain dengan tepat. Melalui kegiatan outdoor learning(kunjungan ke situs) disertai dengan perencanaan, persiapan, pelaksanaan, serta penilaian yang tepat, yaitu dengan memperhatikan aspek-aspek kesadaran sejarah, memungkinkan tumbuhnya kesadaran sejarah siswa.
