Abstract

The success of learning can be shown by the mastery of learning objectives by students. But what about the learning process that occurred during the Covid-19 pandemic. Is it possible that the lesson planning by the teacher at the beginning of the semester can be carried out optimally. This type of research is qualitative research. The research was conducted at SD Negeri 82/II Dusun Panjang in class III. Data obtained by making observations. The researcher went to the research location by looking at the teacher's teaching activities in Theme 6. Energy and Change. Observation of learning towards initial, core, and closing activities. The results of the analysis showed that the implementation of thematic learning with the CTL model that was applied in grade III of Elementary Schools in the Era of the COVID-19 Pandemic was well prepared by the teacher. This can be seen from the learning implementation plan  that has been prepared. However, at the time of its implementation there were still obstacles, so that the learning targets to be achieved were not optimal. The stages in CTL are not carried out as planned in the Learning Implementation Plan.

Abstract

Distance learning at the elementary school level must continue during the COVID-19 pandemic. The presentation of learning materials must be interesting and interactive so that learning remains effective and efficient. However, the carrying capacity of learning itself has not been properly accommodated. One of them is the ability of teachers to recognize, understand and operate the Zoom cloud meetings application which is still very limited. So that there is a need for training that can improve the ability of these teachers. This training was carried out using a descriptive method consisting of planning, implementation and evaluation stages. Techniques for delivering material with lectures and discussions. There were 21 participants involved in the training. The training activity on the use of zoom cloud meetings at SD Negeri 90/II Talang Pantai in Bungo Dani sub-district has been able to improve teacher understanding and the ability of teachers to use zoom cloud meetings to present online learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengembangkan  modul IPA berbasis inkuiri terbimbing dengan tema sistem gerak manusia; (2) menguji kelayakan modul IPA berbasis inkuiri terbimbing dengan tema sistem gerak manusia; (3) menguji keefektifan modul IPA berbasis inkuiri terbimbing dengan tema sistem gerak manusia untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis. Penelitian pengembangan modul IPA berbasis inkuiri terbimbing menggunakan model 4-D yang dikemukakan oleh Thiagarajan yaitu Define, Design, Development, dan Dessemination. Modul dinilai berdasarkan kelayakan materi, kelayakan bahasa, kelayakan penyajian dan kegrafikan. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket analisis kebutuhan, lembar validasi, dan angket penyebaran (disseminate). Modul diujicobakan terbatas  untuk 9 siswa dan uji coba lapangan 20 siswa di SMP Muhammadiyah 7 Surakarta. analisis uji keefektifan modul menggunakan Uji-t Independent Samples Test dan  tahap penyebaran menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian: (1) modul IPA berbasis inkuiri terbimbing yang dikembangkan memiliki karakteristik yaitu langkah pembelajaran pada modul disesuaikan dengan langkah pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dengan mengaitkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. (2) Kelayakan modul IPA berbasis inkuiri terbimbing berdasarkan hasil penilaian ahli (materi, bahasa, kegrafikan dan penyajian) praktisi pendidikan, dan teman sejawat menunjukkan bahwa penilaian rata-rata modul guru lebih besar dari nilai cut off Score (94,03 > 93,40 ) dengan kategori sangat baik. Kemudian penilaian modul siswa dihasilkan rata-rata nilai cut off Score (89,21> 88,21) dengan kategori sangat baik, serta hasil disseminate modul guru diperoleh persentase rata-rata 80,25% dengan kategori baik. (3) Modul IPA berbasis inkuiri terbimbing efektif meningkatkan kemampauan berpikir kritis siswa yang berdasarkan perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kritis antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol dengan nilai taraf siginikansinya ( p < 0,005; 0,002< 0,005).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas Modul IPA berbasis inkuiri terbimbing dengan tema sistem gerak manusia untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode trueexperimentaldesign bentukposttest-onlycontroldesign. Populasi penelitian siswa kelas VIII SMP Muhammadiyah 7 Surakarta Tahun 2015/2016. Hasil belajar IPA diukur melaluiposttest.Analisis uji yang digunakan adalah uji-t independent samples test.hasil penelitian menunjukkan 77,61% siswa kelas eksperimen yang memperoleh nilai lebih besar atau sama dengan 76, sedangkan kelas kontrol hanya 67,38%. Kemudian hasil uji-t Independent Samples Test menunjukkan adanya perbedaan hasil belajar siswa yang signifikan antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol dengan nilai taraf siginikansinya (0,002< 0,005). Sehingga modul IPA berbasis inkuiri terbimbing efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa. Selain itu, modul IPA juga efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan siswa dengan kategori sangat baik dan sikap siswa dengan kategori sangat baik. Jadi modul IPA berbasis inkuiri terbimbing dengan tema sistem gerak manusiaefektif meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII SMP.

Abstract

Learning in elementary schools that do not innovate with the development of learning models will cause learning processes and outcomes to be low. So there is a need for research to improve the process and student learning outcomes by applying the guided inquiry model. The steps of guided inquiry include (1) orientation, (2) formulating the problem, (3) formulating hypotheses, (4) collecting data, (5) testing hypotheses, and (6) concluding. Classroom action research (CAR) was carried out in class III SD 38 / II Pauh Agung. Data collection techniques consisted of test and non-test techniques. The test technical instrument is in the form of essay test questions. The results of the study concluded that the application of the guided inquiry model for grade III students of SD Negeri 38 / II Pauh Agung could improve the learning process and student learning outcomes. Improved student learning processes can be reviewed from student learning activities by 85.71% with an N-gain score of 0.55 in the medium category and teacher teaching activities by 84.09% with an N-gain score of 0.5 in the medium category. Furthermore, for student learning outcomes that complete KKM increased from cycle I by 40% to 76% in cycle II. So the application of guided inquiry learning models can improve the process and learning outcomes of grade III students.

Abstract

Pendidikan dasar merupakan sekolah yang memiliki peran yang strategis dan fundamental bagi pembangunan bangsa. Sehingga penyelenggaraan pendidikan di sekolah dasar harus diarahkan dan menunjang secara optimal demi mencapai tujuan pendidikan nasional. Peraturan baru yang mengharuskan syarat pernah melakukan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas bagi guru sebagai syarat naik golongan menjadi sebuah kendala yang cukup berat. Hal tersebut dikarenakan guru SD tidak terbiasa menulis atau melakukan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Guru harus memenuhi kewajibannya jika ingin naik golongan dan pangkat khususnya dari IV a ke IV b atau dari pangkat Pembina ke Pembina tingkat 1 ke atas. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini ialah menjadikan guru mampu membuat karya tulis ilmiah antara lain PTK agar mampu dimanfaatkan untuk pengembangan profesi. Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh guru ialah bagaimana mengoptimalkan pembuatan penelitian tindakan kelas guru-guru SD di dusun Bangun Harjo. Kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan sosialisasi. Kegiatan menggunakan metode ceramah, diskusi dan latihan. Hasil dari kegiatan ini mencapai target. Capaian tersebut ialah guru mampu menghasilkan penelitian tindakan kelas yang baik. Pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat diikuti oleh 25 guru. dari target 30 guru. Sehingga, ketercapaian peserta 83% atau dapat dinilai baik. Simpulan dalam kegiatan ini ialah ketercapaian target materi yang telah direncanakan pada kegiatan pengabdian ini dapat dinilai baik.

Abstract

The ability of teachers from the aspects of writing, reading and adding scientific insights is really demanded in the current era. If the teacher does not have the ability to write scientific papers and publish it is certainly hampered for promotion / class. Based on this, it is necessary to socialize ethics publication of scientific article writing for teachers in elementary schools. The socialization was carried out in the Bangun Harjo hamlet with the participants of the elementary school teachers. The socialization was carried out in three stages; 1) Preparation, the preparatory stage includes gathering material and making material in the form of powerpoints. 2) Implementation of Socialization, stages of the implementation of socialization with lecture, discussion and question and answer techniques 3) Evaluation, this stage is carried out by giving questionnaires to respondents. The results of this socialization show that 1) Participants for the first time participated in the socialization ethics publication activities so that it is very helpful in writing scientific papers, 2) Participants feel the benefits of the material provided. 3) Participants are very satisfied with this socialization activity and are willing to take part in further socialization.

Abstract

Online learning that is applied in schools turns out to leave some problems for students. There are students who do not use their time to study at home, but are used to play outside the home. As a result, there are students who do not understand and are not unprepared for parents in guiding their children to study. This community service program is carried out in the village of Rasau. This service is carried out with the Smart Home concept. The methods used in this service include preparation, implementation and evaluation. The results of the assistance service for smart home-based learning programs are carried out by providing assistance in learning to read, write, count and learn foreign languages. Furthermore, providing vocational training to train psychomotor abilities and physical fitness assistance to maintain the physical health of students. So learning assistance provides benefits for improving cognitive and psychomotor students in the village of Rasau.

Abstract

This service activity aims to socialize the competence of Continuous Professional Development (PKB) for elementary school teachers. The method of implementing this activity is by using lectures and discussions. The activity was carried out at SD Negeri 90/II Muara Bungo. The results of the evaluation of service activities show that the implementation of service activities is able to provide solutions to existing problems of 3.5% in the very good category. participants' satisfaction with the delivery of material that meets their needs is 3.35%. Satisfaction with the PkM implementation method is 3.64% with very good criteria. Overall satisfaction in implementing this PkM is 3.21% with good category. Thus, service activities make teachers increase their knowledge and abilities in preparing Continuing Professional Development (PKB) in the form of classroom action research, changing research results in scientific journal articles. In addition, the teacher's ability is also able to find and examine scientific references well.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning motivation after applying Edmodo in lectures on Basic Natural Sciences. This type of research is a pre-experimental design with the type of pretest and posttest group desing. The analysis used is descriptive quantitative. The method of data collection in the study used a learning motivation questionnaire. The subjects of this study were 28 STKIP Muhammadiyah Muara Bungo students. The results showed that there was an increase in motivation to learn by using Edmodo. Increased student learning motivation by 14.93%. Paired Samples Test test results Student learning motivation obtained tcount = 4.415 means tcount = 4.415> ttable = 2.0518 and Sig. = 0.00 <0.05. This shows that the application of Edmodo in the subject of Basic Natural Sciences has a significant influence on student learning motivation.
