Abstract

The capital market can play two very crucial roles in the country's economy, namely the role of economy and finance. For these two roles, some parties act as investors and as issuers. Seeing the existence of parties as investors, of course, there will be hope to profit, where the size of the return obtained depends on the company's stock price. However, the company's stock price continues to change every period because of influencing factors such as return on assets (ROA), debt on equity ratio (DER), current ratio (CR), and so on. In previous studies, these factors have not provided consistent answers on whether they affect stock prices. Therefore, to find out the actual results, this research was conducted. The object used is a company indexed in JII70. The selection of this object is due to the lack of research using Sharia objects. JII is a type of index in which there are 70 types of Sharia stocks with high liquidity listed on the IDX, Panel regression analysis is the analysis method applied in this study, where the study results show that ROA can significantly positively influence the stock price. In contrast, DER and CR cannot substantially affect the stock price

Abstract

This research aims to understand the impact of service quality, trust, brand image, brand awareness, and CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) on customer loyalty, with customer satisfaction as an intervening variable in conventional banks. This research is grouped as causal-comparative research. This study targets Batam conventional banks as the subject. Purposive sampling is used to select samples, and the selected samples must meet certain requirements. Bank Rakyat Indonesia, Bank Central Asia, and Bank Negara Indonesia were chosen as samples because they were recipients of the title "The Most Reliable Bank" at the 2022 Indonesian Banking event. The research sample consisted of 342 respondents who were customers of Batam conventional banks. Collecting data information through distributing questionnaires was carried out using digital media such as Google Forms. The data analysis method used is partial least squares analysis using the SmartPLS version 3.0 tool. The research results show that brand image, service quality, and brand awareness can significantly influence customer loyalty. However, corporate social responsibility is not able to provide a significant influence on customer loyalty. Apart from that, rust is not able to have a significant impact on customer loyalty, which is moderated by customer satisfaction.

Abstract

Banyak perusahaan berlomba-lomba menunjukkan kinerja terbaiknya melalui keuntungan. Namun, kini fokus perusahaan tidak sekedar mencari profit tetapi juga melakukan CSR agar dapat berdampak pada people dan melakukan green investment untuk dapat berdampak pada planet. Beberapa penelitian terdahulu menunjukkan green investment dapat mempengaruhi financial performance, namun berdasarkan data jumlah perusahaan yang mengikuti PROPER dengan rata-rata financial performance menunjukkan hasil yang berbanding terbalik. Selain itu, juga masih terdapat kontroversi pada beberapa penelitian terdahulu terkait pengaruh environmental policy terhadap financial performance, apakah dapat meningkatkan financial performance atau tidak sehingga penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan mengetahui hasil yang sebenarnya. Metode analisis regresi panel adalah metode yang digunakan untuk menganalisis penelitian ini, yang mana hasil yang diperoleh yaitu green investment dan environmental policy tidak dapat mempengaruhi financial performance, akan tetapi green investment dapat berpengaruh terhadap financial performance ketika dimoderasikan oleh environmental policy. Penelitian ini hanya berfokus pada perusahaan yang secara konsisten memperoleh peringkat PROPER selama tahun 2017-2021, sehingga hanya diperoleh 135 data. Many companies are competing to show their best performance through profits. However, now the company's focus is not just looking for profits but also doing CSR to impact people and making green investments to impact the planet. Some previous studies show that green investment can affect financial performance. However, the results are inversely proportional between the companies participating in the corporate performance rating assessment program in environmental management (PROPER) and the average financial performance. In addition, there is still controversy in some previous studies regarding the effect of environmental policy on financial performance. Therefore, this study aims to determine the effect of green investment on financial performance moderated by environmental policy. The data used is data on companies that consistently obtained PROPER ratings during 2017-2021, so the panel regression analysis method is used in this study. The results of the analysis show that green investment and environmental policy cannot affect financial performance, but green investment can affect financial performance when moderated by environmental policy.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of family firm succession on corporate social responsibility (CSR). A sample was drawn from manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, comprising 147 firms, equivalent to 735 data points from the years 2018 to 2022, meeting the required criteria. A quantitative approach was employed as the research method to identify relationships and effects among variables, specifically family firm succession on corporate social responsibility (CSR). Companies meeting the family firm criteria were measured using a nominal scale in the form of dummy variables, while the disclosure of social responsibility was assessed using the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) indicators. Data analysis was conducted using Stata software, applying descriptive statistical methods and OLS regression. The findings of this research testing are consistent with prior studies, indicating decrease in CSR levels during leadership transitions within family firms.

Abstract

Manual financial management often hinders the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting in micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). Cafe Abang, an MSME in Batam, faces challenges in maintaining effective financial records, which leads to delays and inaccuracies in its financial reports. The purpose of this community service project is to implement Manager.io accounting software as a digital solution for the financial system, enabling the management team to generate accurate and timely basic financial reports. The methods used in this activity include observation, interviews, and training on the software for the owner and manager of Cafe Abang. The results of the service showed that after the implementation of Manager.io, the owner and managers were able to generate income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports automatically and accurately, reducing recording errors and enhancing financial transparency.

Abstract

Surya Mobil is an MSME in the service and automotive sector in Batam City that was established in 2000. MSMEs experience problems related to inefficient manual financial recording, recording errors, and inaccurate data. The main objective of the service is to help digitize MSME financial recordings with spreadsheets. Data collection is carried out using the interview method with the owner, as well as observation and documentation of the location and operational activities of Surya Mobil. Activities produce general, purchase, and sales journals for data entry. In addition, there are automated ledgers and financial reports that can be accessed in real-time. The post-implementation impact received positive feedback from the owner so that it can help businesses achieve efficiency in the financial recording process.

Abstract

This study looks at how the dividend payout ratio acts as a mediating factor between the impact of gender diversity on the board and firm performance. The percentage of female commissioners, female executive directors, female independent directors, and female directors served as a proxy for board gender diversity. In the meantime, return on equity and assets are used to gauge the company's performance. Using secondary data from the financial and annual reports of sample firms posted on the official IDX website (www.idx.co.id) and company websites, a quantitative technique was used to research companies indexed in the IDX High Dividend 20 between 2018 and 2022. Panel regression is the analysis technique employed. The E-Views application is utilized for data processing and testing. Board gender diversity, especially the percentage of female directors (FDP), has a positive effect on the DPR. On the other hand, firm performance as measured through ROA and ROE is not influenced by DPR. The presence of female independent directors (FID) contributes positively to firm performance as measured through ROA, while firm performance as measured through ROE is positively influenced by female directors (FDP).

Abstract

Effective financial management remains a significant challenge for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), including Moon Cafe, which previously operated without a structured system for recording cash flow. The lack of such a system impeded the ability to track financial performance and business development effectively. To address this issue, a web-based cash flow management system was introduced to improve transparency, accuracy, and efficiency in documenting financial transactions. Data collection methods such as interviews, observations, and documentation were employed to identify the needs and challenges faced by the business. The implementation results showed that the web-based system streamlined the process of real-time cash flow recording, organized financial data more effectively, and generated accurate and well-structured reports. Additionally, the system enhanced operational efficiency and offered greater financial management flexibility. With improved accessibility through digital devices, Moon Cafe can monitor its financial health more effectively and make faster strategic decisions, fostering sustainable business growth.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi mendorong perusahaan untuk memanfaatkan sistem yang lebih efisien dalam pengelolaan keuangan, karena optimalisasi laporan keuangan menjadi aspek penting untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan akurasi pencatatan transaksi. PT Puri Karya Bersama menghadapi tantangan besar dalam pencatatan laporan keuangan yang masih menggunakan Microsoft Excel secara manual, yang rentan terhadap kesalahan dan memakan waktu dalam penginputan. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan proses penginputan laporan keuangan melalui penerapan sistem GF-GL, sebuah perangkat lunak akuntansi modern. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, perusahaan mengimplementasikan sistem GF-GL, perangkat lunak akuntansi yang dirancang untuk otomatisasi dan efisiensi pencatatan transaksi keuangan. Pendekatan yang digunakan mencakup wawancara, observasi, serta perancangan dan implementasi sistem. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa sistem GF-GL berhasil mengatasi berbagai kendala yang sebelumnya dihadapi perusahaan, seperti meningkatkan akurasi pencatatan, mempercepat proses penginputan transaksi, dan mempermudah pembuatan laporan keuangan yang lebih profesional. Selain itu, fitur otomatisasi dan pelacakan transaksi pada GF-GL mendukung transparansi serta pengambilan keputusan yang lebih strategis. Penerapan sistem GF-GL tidak hanya meningkatkan efisiensi operasional tetapi juga membuka peluang transformasi digital yang berkelanjutan dalam manajemen keuangan perusahaan.

Abstract

Company value, which plays a role in determining the company's position, can be influenced by several factors such as CSR, financial performance, and good corporate governance. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of CSR, financial performance, and corporate governance on firm value. The method used in this research is quantitative method. The type of data collection is secondary data obtained from financial reports and sustainability of manufacturing companies in 2018-2022. The data was analyzed using the multiple linear regression method or Multiple Regression Analysis using the STATA application. The results showed that gender diversity has a significant effect on firm value. This research is important to do so that companies know which aspects should be improved in order to advance company value, and it is also important for investors to consider which companies are much better to invest in.
